Her cheekbones are well defined and her nose would be classified as a 'celestial' type. A small splatter of freckles bridges over her nose from one cheek to another, a trait she actively dislikes. Thorrissia's eyes are by far her most interesting feature as they are an unusually bright shade of green. History: Beth was born in the not so long ago year of 2004, on May 15th, and is the oldest sibling in a family of seven. She grew up in England for the first twelve years of her life until her father was offered a job with a business corporation to act as a translator in Japan. The move from London to Tokyo was an ever so slightly trying one as poor Beth could speak no Japanese whatsoever and had to learn it as quickly as possible to get by in school there. As her mother was constantly working, flying all over the world on a variety of trips to provide her skills as a doctor to people suffering from serious viruses and illnesses, the thirteen year old girl was often left alone to raise her three younger brothers and younger sister. This led to her becoming responsible and self reliant, but as her parents did not really train their daughter to have manners, she is somewhat lacking in social graces. Beth's youngest brother, whilst three years her junior, was always her favourite. Unlike the triplets, Flick had a much keener mind and his eldest sister found his company by far the most stimulating to engage in. The young boy introduced Beth to the world of video games and got her interested in Sword Art Online pretty much as soon as it started development. The newly fascinated gamer found that she enjoyed playing MMO's more than playing at real life and began to follow the progress of SAO extensively until it's release. She scored one of the 10,000 hard copies by pretty much camping outside a game shop to grab hold of one before it sold out. Unfortunately for Beth, the game didn't give her quite the freedom from looking after her younger siblings in quite the way she was expecting it. Personality: Thorrissia is not the most pleasant of individuals. She is extremely callous, often unfriendly, exceptionally blunt and likes to irritate people for her own amusement. After seeing a vast majority of less than pleasant deaths, she has become much more impervious to the loss of strangers lives, and would be quite happy to sacrifice somebody 'for the greater good' of the group. Her social skills are somewhat absent and, as she tends to dislike people, this can herald some often unpleasant encounters with other players. It is a personal enjoyment of Thorry's to drive people completely mad and see how they react, another slight social dysfunction of hers. Despite being a little cold however, once you actually somehow manage to worm your way into her heart, she will show nothing less than the utmost of loyalty to her loved ones. She also has a soft spot for younger players. A young person in danger is really the only situation she might risk her life for a stranger. ________________________________________________ Virtues: Thorrissia is an exceptional strategist and can see connections in things that many other people cannot. This makes her extremely dangerous to monsters and irreplaceable to humans. Her abilities in this field give her a strong advantage when it comes to planning things out, but this ability only works when she actually has time to think and is less effective in the heat of the moment. She has exceptional mental fortitude and will never give up no matter the cost which makes her a valuable asset to any team willing to put up with her snark. Thorrissia is willing to suffer a little if it means success which gives her the upper hand in making risky decisions in duels if there is even the slightest chance it will work. Thorrissia is unwaveringly loyal to those who she feels deserve her friendship, and often these people can be unaware of how she cares for them. This unusual selflessness, whilst a little selective, could be the difference of life or death for either her or another player she's trying to save. Flaws: Unfortunately, she is an extremely brash young lady, and her "direct" way of communication can often result in people refusing to listen to her ideas, no matter how good they are, simply out of spite for her arrogance and rudeness. Thorry happens to be rather callous and not afraid to sacrifice human life if it will result in the majority of people escaping. Whilst her main priority is as few casualties as possible, this side of her can lead many people to be extremely, and possibly rightfully distrustful of her. Thorrissia can sometimes be hurtful to other people.
