Scarlett_ 0 Posted July 6, 2015 #1 Share Posted July 6, 2015 Eliza equipped her dagger and leaned against the outer wall of the giant starting city on floor 1. She had spent her past days in Delilah village, where she had immediatly fallen in love with. It had such a happy and lovely vibe. Liz had set up her shop yesterday and decided to go to the starting area to farm some boars. Farming boars, something that she would never ever try to do again after what had happened with her brother. After giving herself a few pep talks she managed to get over her despise of fighting. She needed the materials so that she could keep making new things. She decided to go to floor 1 since the mobs there would probably be easier than the ones on floor 3. The redhead stared out of the safe zone, she wasn't really looking forward to it but thought that she could definitely take care of a boar or two. Liz sighed and leaned her head against the hard wall. The starting city still amazed her, the buildings on every floor were beautiful which distracted her of the fact that she was stuck in a death game. She sometimes hoped that it was a lie, the whole "if you die in game you die in real life" thing. That it was just a stupid fake game that wanted to scare their players. But she knew that that was most likely too good to be true. Her brother was dead, and she just had to face it, whining about it and making stupid stories wouldn't make it any better.. Eliza waited at the wall for a while to look if there was anyone else that was planning on grinding the boars and wolves. It would be much nicer to have someone closeby in a fight, even it that person was a stranger. Eliza repeatedly looked around if there was a real player, ready to approach anyone that would walk past.
Rebekah 0 Posted July 6, 2015 #2 Share Posted July 6, 2015 Floor 1. The busiest floor of them all. Rebekah had detested visiting here unless otherwise necessary, however it was also where she had met most of the players she adventured with in Aincrad. It had been a while since she tried to fight these easy boars as they were no match for her, but she was always out of materials for cooking, and kept telling herself one of these days, she will eventually visit this floor again. Today was that day, as she left Delilah village, she knew that this was less crowded than starting city, and would run into less people here. As she left the safe zone of the village, there weren't a lot of players here, except for a brown hair girl waiting by the wall. She thought to herself, that's odd, a girl without much armour is standing there, having made it this far from the starting town without be hurt too badly. Most players avoid this village as it was rather small, but she was not one of them.
Scarlett_ 0 Posted July 7, 2015 Author #3 Share Posted July 7, 2015 Eliza waited for a while at the giant wall that protected the starting city when she suddenly saw a girl with blond hair. She had told herself to approach anyone but now that she had actually found someone she began to doubt if she would actually do it. Her social skills were really low, especially when talking to strangers. It always depended on her mood if she was able to talk to someone in a normal way. The girl took a deep breath and looked at the stranger. Alright Eliza.. You can do this just calm down and start bloody walking before she's gone. Liz walked well.. ran towards the girl and looked at her. "Excuse me.. Uhm.. I'm- I'm looking for someone to help me.. See i've just opened my shop and need materials.. Could you help me? We can divide the loot when we're done?.." The girl had a hard time with just talking to her. Even though the stranger looked quite kind her heart was beating faster and faster. She looked at the girl that seemed to have much better gear than her and already began to regret her question. She was taught to be polite but this sure wasn't polite at all in her eyes. Rebekah 0 Posted July 8, 2015 #4 Share Posted July 8, 2015 As the girl approached her, she began to notice a few things. Typically, Rebekah would forget about anyone she had seen around unless they make an effort to hold a conversation with her. As she listened to her talk, Rebekah knew that she needed the materials as well, the col was okay at this point, but she had more than enough of it to not care about every single bit, but she preferred to collect an amount. As she finished talking, she noticed that she was very nervous and maybe that was because she was talking to her. Afterall, she was one of the three players to participate in the last two floor raids. She responded, "Sure, what type of materials do you need?" It had been a long time since she remembered the locations of the materials here.
Scarlett_ 0 Posted July 8, 2015 Author #5 Share Posted July 8, 2015 "Well.. I mainly need some flowers, boar tusks, maybe some wolf teeth.. And as you can see I don't have the best equipment, so armor would be heavily appreciated too." She smiled awkwardly as she answered the girls question. Liz didn't need anything special, just some things so she could proceed to make some easy items in her shop. The girl was thinking of looking into jewelry to make her catalogue bigger, and some teeth would be quite nice to make a necklace or something like that.. Eliza wasn't playing around, if she starts something she will do her absolute bests, and her shop wasn't an exception. Gathering materials was her main priority right now, but the girl was still walking in the starting armor with only a special dagger that gave her a damage buff. Even just walking towards someone was actually a big step for her, knowing that if this was real life she probably wouldn't take the chance. Liz was quite surprised that the girl accepted her request to help her, even though the people that she had met so far were all incredibely nice. It sure was different in SAO.. people seemed to become friends much easier probably because everyone is stuck in this game together.. Eliza glanced over to the grass fields, there were a few boars that had already spawned, they were just casually walking around. Some were close together but others were more spread out over the big field. Liz couldn't see a wolf around the gate but was sure that she would eventually see one. ~
Rebekah 0 Posted July 8, 2015 #6 Share Posted July 8, 2015 Armour. That was something that Rebekah herself thought about. She used to have wear heavy armour, but that slowed down her speed as a rapier user. Thus she preferred something else such as her shield which gave her both the evasion and damage mitigation that she required. The only problem was she was not going to be mitigating enough damage against her, but that was not a problem. She rather make it hard to people to hit her than worry about the damage. Rebekah turned towards the grassland and motioned the girl to walk towards a certain direction. She was sure to find a wolf somewhere around here.
Scarlett_ 0 Posted July 8, 2015 Author #7 Share Posted July 8, 2015 Eliza nodded and unsheathed her dagger incase they got in a fight. She walked to the place that the girl had signaled to. She suddenly heard a beeping noise behind her, when she turned around she saw a boar spawn right infront of her. The boar was big and had large, tall tusks aimed at her. The girl had never seen such a big boar with so much Hp. Before she could even react the boar charged forwards and hit her. In just a few seconds Eliza found herself on the ground, with the giant boar standing infront of her. Her sight was somewhat blurry and she couldn't see a lot, but it went back to normal after a bit. Liz quickly jumped up and swung her dagger at the boar. The creature used its tusks to fend off the attack, causing her to not even deal damage to the sudden spawn. Eliza backed off with her eyes on the beast, it was somewhat embarrassing for Liz to miss her first attack while she had just met the blond haired girl. Liz looked over to the girl with a somewhat concerned look. Rebekah 0 Posted July 11, 2015 #8 Share Posted July 11, 2015 The boar ran towards the girl before anything else she could even say anything such as being careful, as the boar was just as strong as her if not even higher. What made it worse was that the boar landed a critical hit on her before Rebekah can even react to the whole situation. She charged at the boar before it could dodge both attacks. The boar must of sensed a weak player for it to attack, but did not notice her in the vicinity as well. ID:23969 BD:10 Scarlett_ 16/19 Rebekah 67/67 Boar 24/
Scarlett_ 0 Posted July 14, 2015 Author #9 Share Posted July 14, 2015 Eliza frowned as the blond haired girl dealt a lot of damage in just one attack, she sure was teaming up with a much stronger player. The boar immediatly ran at the girl but missed by a long shot. Eliza quickly ran up to the boar and attempted to stab it in the back, yet again the boar backed off causing her to hit its tusks. It was quite an unfair battle for Eliza alone, but together with the other girl she felt confident. She however felt quite embarrassed by the fact that she missed twice now, so far she only was a decoy for the boar. Eliza backed off again to make more space for the other girl. Liz sighed and stared at the boar that should've been easy to hit. Eliza knew that she had to train with her dagger since it made her quite useless in battles if she couldn't even land a single hit. Rebekah 0 Posted July 19, 2015 #10 Share Posted July 19, 2015 The boar had missed his attack just like that, and she knew it was going to take three more hits for her to finish it off. She just hoped that the boar would not scratch up the girl too badly, since she brought zero healing items with her. That was part of the problem she had to look out for, and was determined to finish this boar as soon as possible. But with that hit, she took all the boss agro, which was fine since she could naturally heal up and mitigate the majority of the damage. But she spent too much time waiting for the right opportunity to attack to miss her attack completely. ID:25149 BD:2+3=5 Scarlett_ 16/19 Rebekah 67/67 Boar 24/
Scarlett_ 0 Posted July 22, 2015 Author #11 Share Posted July 22, 2015 The girl was getting nervous, she had missed her previous attack on a giant boar and she was so close to him. She was dissapointed in herself, knowing that she wasn't strong enough to even take care of a boar on her own. Liz shook her head and ran back into the fight. Her eyes were on the boar, and she sure wasn't going to miss this attack. The dagger glowed a faint, dark red light as the girl pulled it back. But the boar was far too quick for her once again. He simply backed off, Ready to charge at the defenseless girl. But she wasn't going to let the beast hit her.. She waited for the boar to get close, and when he did she immediatly jumped out of the way, making him miss her completely. The girl backed off, dissapointed that she had missed another attack. Rebekah 0 Posted July 23, 2015 #12 Share Posted July 23, 2015 Both the girl and the boar missed their attacks completely, and it was time that she took control of the situation. Rebekah knew that everyone had their own style, hers was speed and accuracy. But for now, it was her turn to show her how to fight a boar, hoping she could at least land an attack before she will kill it. With that in her mind, she ran towards the boar knowing exactly where she was going to hit it, a quick stab with her rapier before disengaging far enough to avoid putting herself at risk from a quick attack when she was most vulnerable in the middle of battle. Scarlett_ 0 Posted August 7, 2015 Author #13 Share Posted August 7, 2015 (edited) ((Sorry for the late reply, Was on vacation and the dice thingy wouldn't load ;c))Yet again, Liz simply looked at the blonde haired woman as she hit the boar, dealing a lot of damage to it. As the woman backed off Eliza immediatly sprinted at the boar that should be supposed to be an easy target. She had missed her past few attacks which was just straight up embarrassing. Liz did the exact same thing as before, she pulled her dagger back whilst running at the beast and thrusted it at it as she was close enough. Sadly, the boar completely ignored the girl and went straight for the person she had teamed up with. "W-watch out!" She said as she glared at the idiotic boar that charged at the blond haired female. Eliza frowned as the boar flew right past the girl, probably because it was desoriented. Eliza let out a slight sigh of relief as she looked down. She wasn't exactly the most helpful acquintance right now which was dissapointing. The girl most likely saw her as a little, weak chick that can't even hit a boar that is almost bigger than herself.RollID: 26730BD: 2 (*flips 1000 tables*)MD: 3 HP listScarlett_: 16/19 Rebekah:67/67 +3 HateBoar: 14/36 Edited August 7, 2015 by Scarlett_
