[SP-F1] Material Gathering (Day 2)

Recommended Posts

Golden was bored as hell. He wanted complete something productive and reasonable to help him get stronger. After a while of sitting in a bench by himself in the park central, he stood up and decided to go and savage some materials from the public farm that was available to all cooks including him. He walked past the beautiful features of this beautiful game in beautiful weather while enjoying the beautiful scenery of the world (lol). Upon reaching the area, he got out his basket to store the products in it. Golden looked around and tried to catch glimpse of anything worth noting.

Golden walked around and inspected five different trees. However, he was only able to catch glimpse of one fruit throughout all those trees. He was disappointed as he picked the fruit out from that one fruitful tree and continued searching for more fruit that he could use in his cooking career.

Golden continued savaging the apple trees in hope that there would still be some apples left for savagers. He looked around to see many rotten apples hanging loosely in lots of trees. What a waste. Golden thought as he walked through the trees and keeping a close eye for any good apples. After finding several rotten apples. He finally found two good apples through close inspection. They aren't the greatest of apples but this will have to do. Golden thought as he inserted the apples into his basket.

Golden continued looking through the flood of trees laying ahead of him in hopes of catching glimpse of a big, red apple in front of him. However, he was unable to do so and was about to give up when he saw a patch of redness in his eyes. This will be the last tree I search today... after this, I'm going to the wheat field. Golden thought as he climbed up the tree with ease using his newly acquired skill, sprint and acrobatics. He pulled out some apples and almost all of them were rotten except for one. He jumped down while putting that one apple in his basket. Sweet! Now, the wheat field. Golden thought as he walked towards the field in which he shall search next.

Golden moved on to the wheat field. Hopefully this would give me more success. He thought as he savaged and searched for some good wheat. He looked around the ground and picked up some wheat that had only just gone bad. Golden sighed in disappointment as he looked at the pitiful wheat in his hands before tossing it to the ground again. Now it will be wasted on animal mobs. Golden thought before picking up another patch of wheat that he saw from the corner of his eyes. Woah... That is some good wheat. Golden thought as he picked out two really good quality wheat. He was satified with what he got today but something in his heart was telling him to keep going. He listened to his heart and continued the search before the sun sets.

Golden continued searching for more wheat that would go into his basket seeing how successful his recent searches have been. He checked past 5 sacks of wheat and only found 1 good wheat sack in those 5. He sighed in disappointment as he reached in and grabbed the good wheat which he placed in his basket. Looking at the sky which was turning dark, he decides that it would be a great time to go back to his inn and have a good night's rest before heading out tomorrow again. He was tired... no, exhausted from the day of mat gathering. I've seen people gather materials before but I didn't think it was this tiring... Golden thought as he lay in his bed and counted the materials he had obtained that day. Not bad.

Goldenarroz woke up feeling quite inspired to get out there and fight some mobs. Not just easy mobs but harder mobs. He went out to the fields, expecting lots of hard mobs but really, there wasn't a whole lot. He looked around and found two normal mobs that he decided to fight. I guess they have to do. Golden thought with a sigh. Let me take care of the first boar first. After that thought, he charged.

Golden charged at the boar, hoping to deal some first damage and succeeded in doing so when the boar didn't pay attention to the environment. Golden stabbed his rapier right into the back of the boar, causing the boar to screech in pain and anger, knowing that it was under attack. However, the boar recovered faster than expected and attacked back. Luckily, Golden had some evasion skills and was just able to dodge the attack.

Golden was focused on the first boar when the second boar noticed that its friend is under attack. It charged at Golden and Golden had no time to dodge the attack before it hit him in the shield. Golden cursed but knew that the thorns on his shield would cause some pain towards the boar that had sneaked up on him.

Golden sighed as he retreats. Killing two will be very annoying. He thought as he charged at the first boar once again. He successfully attacked only to be countered immediately. Golden grunts as he was counter attacked by the boar's fierce claws. Luckily, he had some armor and a shield, or the attack would have done lots of damage.

This time, Golden was ready for the second boar's attack and dodged it without ease when the attack came. He wanted to attack the boar via counter but he already used his turn. Damn. Golden thought. 1v2 is annoying as hell. Golden decided to do less of this 1v2 situation where he could be overpowered via numbers.

Golden saw an opening and he took it with his blade. The boar left an area perfectly open and eligible for attack. Golden swung his blade at it and the boar didn't bother defending as it struck right into the underside of the boar's belly. Golden grinned as a shock of electricity became visible throughout the body of the boar. Paralysis at its finest. Golden thought.

However, Golden didn't notice the other boar sneaking its way and at the last moment, it jumped up into the air and struck Golden in his head. He grunts as he fell and rolled back up. Argh... What a nuisance. Golden thought as he retreated for maybe the last attack on the first boar before he could move on to the next one.

Golden was shocked by the sudden recovery of the first one from paralysis. Maybe paralysis isn't that effective. He thought as he shielded himself from the attack. Golden yelped when he sees that instead of attacking, the boar jumped over him and got behind him for a quick strike. He was sent to the ground when the boar charged at his back, not giving him a chance to dodge or counter strike the attack. I'm soooo grateful for the armor. Golden thought.

Golden felt overwhelmed by another quick attack from the second boar. He couldn't even attempt to defend against the attack when the attack came in. He cursed as the boar struck him in the back and retreated quickly. This is overwhelming. I need to retreat and clean my mind. Golden thought as he retreats before thinking of a tactic.

Golden was really frustrated when he once again couldn't find the target. Luckily, he dodged that attack from the boar... But this was getting annoying and he is getting very impatient even though he never gets inpatient. He cursed as he watched out for the follow-up attack from the other boar which was causing lots of trouble at the moment.

The boar strikes but this time, Golden was well prepared to follow-up and dodge the attack. The boar made it too easy that time... He thought as he eyed the boar... making sure that it doesn't cause anymore surprises.

Golden just wanted the boar to die. It wasn't supposed to be this frustrating to kill a simple boar like this. He sighed and lifted his rapier hoping to finally kill one of the boars. However, it just wasn't meant to be. He ran up at the boar only to miss the boar by inches... no centimeters. He cursed as the boar strikes back, missing by a mile. I obviously out-class them... I'm just missing the accuracy. Golden realized.

Golden watched as the other boar strikes again. He sighed as he easily dodged the attack and the boar continued running. He watched as it realized that it'd missed and the frustrated boar turned around, waiting for the next opportunity. This is going nowhere. Golden said disappointedly.

This was really starting to get super frustrating... Golden was just unable to hit the mob. Maybe the battle system has gone wrong... Golden thought, hoping that that was the case and he wasn't doing really bad. He sighed as he missed with his rapier once again before hopping onto a try to avoid the boar's attack. He sighed once again as the second boar prepared to attack.

ID: 23075

MD: 5-1=4 (0 DMG)

The second boar jumped up to attack only to hit the branch of the tree, breaking it off when Golden jumped onto a different tree branch. Golden was really starting to get frustrated, seeing that there has been no progress in the last 9 attacks made by all three participants in the battle...

Now this was getting extremely frustrating as Golden just couldn't manage to hit the boar which would finish off the battle. He sighed as he gripped the sword tightly... hoping to finally get the last hit. He charged at the boar, hoping that it wouldn't dodge his attack once again. However, the boar had managed to dodge it and not only dodging it, it also managed to launch a partially effective counter attack. Golden quickly reacted and dodged the attack before getting ready and anticipating an attack from the other boar.

There had been an attack coming from the boar and Golden anticipated the attack easily. He was able to dodge it without trouble and looked over at his target bear once again to hopefully bring it down with his next attack. Golden sighed and charged.
