Lowenthal quickly made his way out the town of beginnings on the first floor. He needed materials if he wanted to increase his stock. He began a quick search for materials, but came up with nothing. Lowenthal rubbed the back of his neck. He was frustrated that he was off to such a bad start. He decided to look elsewhere. He really should have bought a luck potion, or a food item to enhance his chances. But no, he'd be fine without them he said. How hard can it be he said.

Lowenthal liked the new area he moved to. Not the best in the way of material finding, but it was more than the last place. After searching for about 6 minutes, he was able to find two materials. Lowenthal quickly added the material to his bag, and continued his search for the ever so elusive materials. He wondered how Calrex even did it. Day in and day out of just walking around it seemed. It baffled Lowenthal how a single man can have that much patience.

Lowenthal found one more material, and he quickly placed it with the other two. He had been searching for quite some time, but his luck was getting worse, not better. Lowenthal sighed. Perhaps he just wasn't the 'grinding' type. For some odd reason, Clarence popped into his head, causing Lowenthal to blush. Lowenthal shook his head, and rubbed his temples effectively clearing his mind of 'that' image. He had to concentrate harder to find more materials.

Lowenthal grinned as he found another two materials. His collection was starting to grow. At this rate he'd have 10 materials before he even knew it. All he could hope for was the boredom of it all could be drowned out by something to entertain him. Perhaps he'd play a game whilst he searched. He didn't know what he would play, but it would probably be something along the lines of 'oh god. The materials. someone help me'. Or something like that,

Lowenthal had given up on this area entirely. A round of no materials did him no good as he moved on to the next area. He needed the mats, although he didn't know exactly what he'd do with all of them. He'd probably do one of two things. The first thing would be make a lot of swimsuits. And the second would be taking them to Mari to make a lot of crystals for his guild. He shrugged to himself, and continued moving. Trying to stay focused.

Lowenthal tripped on a single material as he was making his way to the next area. He added the material to join the rest. He laughed at the mat, wishing it eternal damnation for tripping him, and putting a snag in his material gathering swing. Lowenthal dusted himself off, and continued on his way. He wondered what everyone was doing on such a nice day. Probably having fun. Elsewhere. Without looking for materials. Lowenthal sighed angrily, as gathering materials was taking far longer than he had anticipated.

Lowenthal looked at his feet, another Material had spawned beneath him. He quickly surveyed the area, not finding any more he kept on moving along. He wondered how much time had actually passed. It seemed like an eternity had gone by. Lowenthal looked up at the sun, which had not moved in the slightest. Lowenthal remembered that the first floor didn't have a 'day night' cycle. It was perpetually day, well most of it. It was 'day' one moment than 'night' the next.
