[SP-F3] The picky Gatherer [Complete!]

Recommended Posts

Floor 3, Her favorite floor of the ones that she had been to so far. She liked floor 4 but it was far too cold for the girl to stay.

Liz hopped out of her shop, somewhat annoyed that she had messed up quite some things in her shop today, but she was looking forward to get some materials to proceed to work in her shop. Liz walked intoto a big yellow field of dandelions and carefully walked through, she didn't want the basic colors, she was looking for unique ones. The fields had a really calm feeling to it which made Eliza a big more happy. Along with the beautiful sun rise it managed to get a smile back on her face. While walking through the fields she noticed two small flowers in the field that had a orange color, she quickly plucked them and they disappeared into her inventory. The girl proceeded to walk through the field but didn't see anything new, except for another one of the orange flowers. She ran up to it but accidentally went to far, crushing the flower.

Eliza turned around, seeing the flower vanish leaving a few blue pixels. The girl went further into the field and looked for more colors.

Eliza sat down in the field and looked at the beautiful sun. Places like these made her doubt if this place

was so horrible, since it had such a peaceful look to it. She smiled and laid down. Liz jumped up as she felt something crawl over her

cheek and quickly wiped over her whole face and scratched her head, not knowing if the things was gone. She ran for quite a while untill

she thought that it was gone. Eliza took a deep breath and touched her cheeks to make sure it was really away from her, and she luckily

couldn't feel anything. The girl went back to searching for unique flowers and immediatly found one, it was just outside of the dandelion field.

She jumped out of the field and walked towards the flower, it had long purple petals and a short stem. Its petals were really long

and gave the flower a somewhat weird look. Eliza equipped her dagger and carefully cut the flower, which luckily didn't disappear.

As the flower went into her inventory she walked back into the dandelion fields. After looking around through the field she had found nothing,

except for dandelions.. as far as she could see she saw a bright yellow color. Eliza decided to go out of the fields and look for different colors

since she thought that she would have bigger chances in the open land.

As Liz hopped out of the field again she saw her biggest nightmare, her nemesis, her biggest fear.. "A bee.." She mumbled as she quickly ran away. She ran as fast as she could to get away from the small bee, she was hated them, despised the little demons. Eliza sighed and leaned forwards with her hands on her knees. She breathed heavily as she had just ran to the opposite site of the giant dandelion field. Liz didn't even want to fight the little creature since she was rather scared of them.

Eliza got up again and walked out of the dandelion field, immediatly seeing another beautiful flower.

It was a bright pink flower that looked like a tulip. The girl quickly ran to it and cut it off, making it vanish into her

inventory. She got up again and noticed a bush with multiple colored flowers in it. Eliza walked to it and looked

through the flowers, only finding one that was really worth bringing along. It was a flower with a short stem but big, ocean blue petals. She cut the top of the flower off and put it in her inventory. The color hunt was going quite well, she already collected 5 that would sure help her with painting.

Eliza looked around, noticing that a wolf had spawned close to her. Not really wanting to fight, she avoided the wolf and walked the other side, back to where she saw the bee..

As Eliza walked back to the place where she had seen the small satanic creature the girl made sure that she didn't miss any flowers.

She noticed another orange one and carefully plucked it, making it disappear into her inventory. She was somewhat scared to go back in both

ways so decided to look around in the field again. She walked through the field, repeatedly looking behind her if there were any mobs. Luckily, there weren't any which was convenient. Without even noticing Eliza came closer to the spot where the bee was, when she suddenly heard a loud buzzing noise. The girl looked up, seeing a big beehive hanging from the tree infront of her. Liz quickly ran away but had already triggered a bigger bee. Liz quickly unsheathed her dagger and waited for the bee to attack. With a horrid look on her face she glared at the bee that was buzzing loudly, which annoyed her. Eliza was lucky that she hadn't triggered more of the bees.

Eliza glared at the bee as it came closer to her, buzzing even louder as before. The redhead groaned and ran up to the Bee, slashing her dagger around wildy. But the bee was too quick for her to hit, causing the devil to buzz even louder. Liz jumped up once more to try and attack the bee, when it suddenly charged forwards stinging her in the neck. It was a really weird feeling, it didn't hurt but it seemed like her neck got pierced. Red pixels jumped off of the wound as it turned back to normal. Liz was disoriented and could only see blurs infront of her eyes. The girl suddenly fell down onto the ground, unable to move her arms, legs.. her whole body denied her attempts to move. She laid on her back in the grass and could see the bee fly over her. After a few seconds she could luckily move her fingers again, yet her arms and legs still didn't move. This was the first time that she actually fought something else than a boar, so she didn't know what their pattern was and how they attacked. As the bee came closer Eliza desperately tried to get up again.

The bee came closer as Eliza desperately tried to get up again. She slowly began to move her body again, starting with her hands and feet, arms and legs, and eventually her whole body. The bee didn't seem to notice and kept flying towards her, giving Eliza an easy chance to hit it. The girl quickly stabbed the bee that immediatly flew up after the attack. It hovered right above Eliza for a while when it suddenly dropped down with its stinger aimed at her. Eliza had more than enough time to react and simply moved out of the way as the bee fell down onto the ground. Eliza smiled again as she saw the bee's Hp bar almost empty after her first attack, she got ready to hit the beast once more as it flew up again. Bees were always horrid creatures in liz's eyes since they had stung her multiple times. She used to like them when she was younger but the insects stung her and made her absolutely terrified of them. Hitting the bee so hard gave Eliza a big boost of satisfaction since she had always wanted to get revenge on the disgusting creatures.

"I can easily kill it now"  Eliza mumbled to herself while going closer to the bee that had turned around. She jumped up and slashed at the beast, but it immediatly flew up, causing her to miss her attack. The bee had gotten faster somehow.. The insect turned around with red eyes that had a faint glow. It immediatly charged forward at Eliza and stung her multiple times. Everything went far too fast for Eliza to react, so she put her hands infront of her face to prevent heavy damage. She waited for the bee to finish its attack that seemed to take ages. A weird feeling constantly hit her in multiple places, her legs, chest, hands. It was far from pain but the feeling was sometimes even worse than it, it made ELiza shiver. When the bee finally finished it backed off and flew up quite high. With a dead serious look on her face she got ready to hit the idiotic beast. It had already done far too much damage to the girl and almost took half of her health already. The idea of dying from a simple bee annoyed her, making her somewhat mad at the insect. She stared at the bee that was buzzing even louder now, ready to stab the beast once more to kill it.

Both Eliza and the bee charged forwards at the same time, Eliza slashed at the bee first but dodged the attack. The bee attempted to sting her in the back but Liz noticed it and ducked onto the ground. The two again both backed off and stared at each other. Eliza was pissed by the bee that had been causing so much trouble in her what was meant to be a lovely gathering day. The mob was already down to 1 health so there was only one more attack needed, but she simply couldn't hit it. Liz didn't even notice that she had been trampling over many unique flowers that she could've collected if this bee wouldn't have attacked her. Eliza looked around her to make sure that there weren't more bees coming, since it would be possible that she had aggroed more mobs in her "Dance" with the bigger bee. The big bee wasn't her only problem since there was still a big beehive close to her, with a lot of unique flowers around it that were really tempting to take. She really needed the materials for her shop and to possibly order a special sculpting tool or crafting hammer from a blacksmith. Eliza knew that if she got better equipment she would have a bigger chance of making better items.

And again, both the bee and Eliza go in at the same time. Exactly doing the same thing as before with the same outcome, missing each other. It was really getting on Liz' nerves and the bee didn't seem to be very happy with it either. Luckily Liz did have an advantage on the bee with much more health than the beast and more damage. Yet it seemed like the bee really was up for a long fight. The fact that the insect that Eliza hated just simply didn't give up annoyed her, she had seen mobs that just gave up before so why couldn't it act like that? The redhead groaned as the bee began to buzz even louder than before, the noise was horrid and hurt her ears. Today was meant to be a relaxing, nice time yet only one mob managed to ruin the day, atleast a part of it.  Her mood went from awesome, to angry in just a few minutes. She was however still looking forward to collect things for her shop, since she wasn't playing around with it. When Eliza made the shop she knew it would take a lot of time to build it up, to actually get customers there. And as floor 3 wasn't the most popular one it seemed to be even harder. Yet that wasn't her biggest concern, she simply didn't have any great items yet and wasn't confident enough to open her shop again. Her first customer wasn't assured of its item when he came inside. Which wasn't the first impression Eliza was looking for to make on him.

Eliza groaned and charged forward, with a dead serious look on her face. The girl held her dagger tightly as she came closer to the insect that she despised. With a "Battle roar" that was simply a squeel that sounded like an 8 year old's scream, came out of Liz' mouth as the dagger began to glow a dark red. She thrusted the dagger forward, but in just a split second the bee shot up and dodged the attack. It immediatly charged back to Eliza but she jumped to the left and it luckily missed her by just a few cm's. Eliza noticed that the bee was having problems with hitting her while she moved, just like the boars on floor 1. Even though the boars were probably much easier than these stupid bees, their pattern looked a bit like each other's. Floor 1 and Floor 3 weren't known to be incredibely hard anyways so this bee could be called a flying boar.. Eliza found herself not that serious in the fight, which was surprising since so far she had done her best to stay focused. The girl did notice the change in her behavior after getting stuck in this game and well.. losing her brother. Which was quite the shock for her. Eliza backed off and got ready to attack the bee once more.

The bee kept buzzing louder and louder, it began to really hurt and she thought that it was actually dealing damage. Eliza groaned again and ran forwards, slashing her dagger around wildly. The bee managed to dodge strike after strike, and this one wasn't an exception. It quickly flew up again and charged down at Eliza, with its stinger pointed down to her. After understanding its pattern a bit more it was easier to attack the attempts of the insect. Liz stared at the bee that now had bright red eyes that were glowing. Eliza grew up with a heavy believe in god due to her mother, they wouldn't go to church since the closest one was 2 hours away but they did pray almost 6 times a day. But Eliza stopped believing after many fights with her father, that changed the once innocent and energetic girl, into a depressed loner. Over the years Eliza did back again, but that lonely depressed part never changed. She had mood swings that would sometimes come out of nowhere. It could happen if they were talking about her past, or just about a simple thing like about dinner. It was hard for her uncle and aunt to have a smile on their face for so long. When they first moved in Liz gave them a hard time, denying to eat or talk, not wanting to play with her uncle, not wanting to go out with her aunt. It probably really hurt them, which Eliza was ashamed of. When she became depressed she didn't really care anymore, not like she wanted to end her life but simply wanting a break. A break from those heavy times, just being alone. However that opinion changed since she couldn't be any happier with how her uncle and aunt treated her.

Eliza again found herself thinking about things that didn't care at all, she was constantly falling away from the fight, losing focus immediatly after every missed hit. With a serious look on her face Eliza turned her dagger around, readying herself for the next, and hopefully the last attack.

The girl charged forwards right at the bee, but instead of immediatly attacking she waited for the insec to finish its pattern; wait-dodge-attack, atleast that was what Eliza thought it was. She was luckily right as the bee immediatly flew up as she came closer and charged down. Eliza dashed backwards and stabbed the bug in the middle, making it explode in blue crystals. With a sigh of relief she laid down in the grass, breathing heavily. She tried to stop thinking about the fight to get back into her happy mood, so that she could actually enjoy gathering instead of seeing it as a must do. Eliza got up again and forced a smile onto her face. She began to think of cute things, baby cats, foxes, panda's. The forced smile soon turned into a real one. The girl glared at the beehive and quickly turned around, walking exactly the other way. She didn't even want to think about fighting another one. "Let's get back to gathering shall we" She mumbled to herself as she walked away.

The girl walked through the field of yellow dandelions, paying full attention to finding more flowers. The fight luckily

paid off as she immediatly found another 2 orange flowers that looked the same as the first ones. "Guess I have to start painting with orange" She chuckled as the two dissapeared into her inventory. It was probably quite weird for others, but Eliza enjoyed gathering more than fighting. At the beginning of getting stuck in the death game Eliza had been looking forward to fighting, but once getting told that if you die in the game you die in real life that changed. She really looked against it after that, not wanting to get close to any mob at all. But now it was sometimes enjoyable for her, the rush of adrenaline when fighting something was quite cool, and holding a dagger too. Eliza always liked weaponry and choosing a weapon was quite hard. A dagger was a somewhat.. odd choice and both her brother and herself didn't think she would pick it for two reasons. One being that Eliza wasn't too keen about being close up, and the other being that a knife was used to take her mothers' life.Eliza didn't really think about that too much and she surprisingly didn't get a panic attack about it yet. Due to the situation with her brother she somewhat forgot about it.

Liz began to run as she saw a beautiful flower just out of the dandelion field that looked as if its petals were made out of

gold, it was a really nice color and Eliza was looking forward to painting with it. The gathering was actually going surprisingly well, and she had found a lot of colors in not a lot of time. Out of rage by the bee Eliza had forgotten how beautiful the area was, everything looked so innocent, so wonderful, like a paradise. It was a fact that this would be probably impossible to ever have in the real world. The place where she lived didn't look ugly at all but she would prefer to live in an enviroment like floor 3, simply because it was so peaceful. Where her shop would come wasn't a hard choice to make after visiting the floor, the fields of dandelions and the pretty delilah village made it a choice in just a split second. But also the Npc's grabbed her attention, they were all elves which impressed her. Eliza usually made an elven character in roleplays, because they usually had a buff for ranged attacks but also because Eliza found them very cool. Floor 3 was easily her favorite floor, it wasn't too crowded and the country look to it gave it such a humble feeling. After walking around for about 5 minutes she couldn't see anything, so again she walked out of the dandelion field and looked around, hoping to find some unique flowers.

Immediatly after getting out of the field she saw  2 more flowers right infront of her. They both had bright red petals and were quite small. Eliza cut the top off of the stem and put them in her inventory. She was already quite happy with how many flowers she had so far, she could probably use one or two for a charm. She proceeded to walk further away from the field and ended up in an area with multiple tall trees. Floor 3 was her favorite but she did have to watch out that she didn't walk into the creepy forest that an npc had called "The cursed forest". It didn't really impress the girl but she wasn't going to ignore the warning that the npc had given her before. When she first arrived on floor 3 a npc walked to her and asked if he could show her around the town. The man kept talking throughout the whole tour, never allowing her to say something. Eliza ended up following the man for about half an hour but then just walking away when she saw an awesome location for her shop.

Liz was about to take a break when suddenly another beautiful flower popped up in her sight. It had long petals in a deep blue color and a tall stem. The girl ran up to the flower and carefully cut the top off of the long stem. The flower dissapeared into her inventory as she sat down against one of the high oak trees. Eliza sighed and slid her hand through the air, making the menu pop up. She looked through her menu, again searching for the log out button. But sadly it was still nowhere to be seen. Liz hoped that one day the log out button would appear again. It was weird that they were all still stuck, it had been a while now so people would probably already be searching for ways to get them out. It was confusing for Liz, was it that hard to find one of the creators? They would most likely know how to get them out.. The redhead got up again and proceeded to walk, constantly looking around if there were any flowers that she could use.

A few hours had already passed and it was getting colder. Liz shivered slightly as she crossed her arms and walked further.

Liz looked around and saw three flowers in the area, it seemed that the further she went into the "Forest" the more flowers appeared. Eliza walked towards the closest one which had the same color as the one she had found before. Eliza plucked the small flower and put it in her inventory whilst walking towards the second flower. The slight breeze had now turned into a somewhat heavy gust. The girl quickly walked towards the 2nd flower which was quite small, it had dark purple petals, the color Eliza was actually looking for. She then walked to the third flower, a dark red rose. Liz actually needed roses for her shop to decorate a bit more in the theme she had. She sat down next to the thorny rose and cut the top off, but due to the gust it immediatly flew off.

Eliza got up and ran after it, but gave up after about 20 seconds since it was almost impossible to get. The girl sighed and walked away, with her hands tightly wrapped around her arms.

As the sun slowly dissapeared it became much colder, it was almost night so Eliza decided to walk back to the shop and hope to find a few more flowers. She was happy with the result of the gathering day and was able to make a lot more things now she actually had proper colors. Apart from the fight with the bee it was a quite relaxing day, something that Eliza really needed. She could see the dandelion field near her shop, meaning that it was only about a 10 minute walk. Eliza noticed another small flower that had golden colored petals just a few meters infront of the big, yellow field. She quickly plucked it and walked into the dandelion field. The girl looked around, admiring the magical place once again. Floor 3 really made her forget about all the bad things, and made her focus on the good things.

Eliza could see her shop as she walked through the field of yellow dandelions. She was about to just run to it when she suddenly spotted a small, bright orange flower that was identical to the ones she found before. Liz kneeled down and plucked it carefully. The girl got up again and walked to her shop, tripping halfway over a rock. Liz cursed and got up again, the fall scared her since it felt like she was pushed down because of the gust that was constantly getting stronger. This was one of the few times of cold weather on floor 3 that Liz had witnessed so far. She was used to it being sunny and warm but now it was quite the opposite. She was about to just rush into her shop when she noticed another orange flower. It was quite far away but Liz decided that it was worth it. Eliza began to walk to the flower but once she got closer petals slowly began to fly off because of the wind. The girl began to run but it was already too late and the flower vanished.

Liz sighed and looked around once more to see if there was anything that she could quickly grab. Not too far away from her she noticed another

orange flower and quickly ran to it. She luckily managed to pluck it before the wind ruined it just like the last one. Eliza looked up at the moon that was just getting visible and smiled slightly. Unlike others Liz sometimes liked the night, she didn't like the dark since it could be quite creepy but the stars and moon always gave her a good feeling. Eliza got up and slowly walked to her shop. She wasn't sure if she would try to make something today since she was already quite tired. Liz yawned as she opened the door of her shop and went inside. She sat down on the couch and with a swing of her hand she opened the menu. She clicked through her inventory and looked at how many flowers she had gathered, 17 in total. Eliza closed the menu and laid down on the couch.
