[PP-F1] Back to Cities

Recommended Posts

The boy stood in the center of the Town of Beginnings, an action he had not done in quite sometime. Only recently did he turn back green from being Orange after doing Redemption, and it had been an insurmountable amount of time since Zelrius was allowed to enter Cities. But here he was, in the town square, annoyed as ever with the general populous. Most if not all of them were here wasting time, doing nothing of use. These damned low levels and their constant uselessness. The thoughts passed in his mind as he sighed. It mattered not, he guessed, These people had been doing this exact same thing since Day One, and very rarely did any of them change that.

He glanced around, and in his boredom, looked down to straighten his maroon colored bowtie and flatten the slight creases in his dark tuxedo coat. This was Zelrius's attire, regardless of occasion or agenda. His azure colored pendant slightly going asked in the wind and his gold curved sheath that held the twinfire sword bounced with each step he made toward a nearby empty bench. In all his complaining and hateful thoughts of lower leveled players, Here he was, The Blood Buccaneer, wasting time on Floor one, waiting for the frontlines to call for his services yet again.

The square of floor one bustled about; as Rayne, who was sitting down, glared as the scared level one's danced around the center of town. Rayne of course was growing nausiated by their little acts of love, and she turned her face; as to no longer watch the people. Her blue eyes fell upon a man in a tuxedo, and her eyes passed right by, thinking nothing of it; sure he looked like a powerful frontliner, but she had no distinction in her mind between his power and hers; in fact Rayne felt as though he was with all of the level ones on this floor. Rayne, had in fact just woken up from her slumber. She had been unable to wake up; until just recently, as she found herself among floor one, with these disgusting people. She felt growing anger with herself for being unable to wake up, and her eyes landed upon the man in the tuxedo yet again, he seemed quite odd, out of the mix on this floor. He looked as if he had not been in the cities for a long time; which held no remorse from Rayne. She acted as if he wasn't there, yet again, her eyes scanning right past him. Her face turned into a small scowl, as she stood back up.

What are you doing Rayne, just sitting here with the lower levels; bored out of your mind, you should be out there fighting and power leveling. You need to make a name for yourself. Her eyes held no fear, as her white dress framed her body perfectly, and the blue ribbons upon it, matched her eyes. Her hair, being a much lighter blue was very long, and close to the ground. This was her attire, what she would want herself to look like for a long time. Her dagger, which was unequipped, lay in her inventory. She had felt no use of it in the city just yet; as it was a safe zone... A safe zone meant for these useless low leveled brats, that expect the higher levels to do everything for them. She felt her boredom quickly grow into impatience, and she leaned on the tree near the bench she had previously been sitting on. She focused on the people yet again, and remembered what she had to do. She suddenly stopped leaning, and whisked out of the center of town; her path took her near the man in the tuxedo, and she made a semi-circle around him, as she did not want to breathe in the air he was breathing.

Zelrius hung his head down and looked at his clasped gloved hands sitting on his lap. The view above bored him to death and he was not all that interested in watching Low levels kiss each others asses all day. The golden haired High level could only sit and think about returning to the front lines. He had taken a short break with Azure Brigade's leave of absence from the fight on Floor 10. How nasty that would have been if he had been there, given that Zelrius had no Night Vision until just recently. Slowly, his thoughts began to fade from this thought to that one, and within moments, he was in a trance. Just staring off into his lap with nothing but his own mind whispering one thing after the next in his head. Low Levels need to get their crap in one heap, Else wise, Our front lines are going to dwindle. He eluded in his own mind, back to the fight of the Hydra. They had lost many in that battle, and most of those who didn't die, Disappeared and haven't been seen since.

Zelrius was snapped out of his trance at the click of steps. With a look up Zelrius saw a girl seemingly avoiding him with her path around the bench. Aggravated and annoyed, The Arrogant boy spoke up. "Trying to avoid me there, Girly? Worry not, Even in my high level, I cannot kill you in the safe zone. Be afraid not."

The boy she had obviously avoided spoke up; Rayne's face instantly showed anger and the coldness still hung in her gaze. Her face turned to the boy; and she spat out a comment, "I am not afraid of you, nor will I ever be. You level does not matter to me, you are still as bad as the rest of the low levels on this floor in my mind." Her cold gaze took in his face; before she just turned her head away, and continued on her walk. With her head titled upward; she looked at the roof's overhead, they all held the same looks... Boring! She looked back at the pathway; with a feeling of impatience; she felt like turning it into a run, even though her appearance could fool a person, she was not the kind person she looked like. Rayne's feet urged to run; however that commotion would cause players to wonder what was going on, and she wasn't sure she wanted anyone to question her. She rolled her eyes; Don't go soft on me Rayne. Suddenly she had an idea; and Rayne walked into an alleyway, she hoisted herself up onto a conveniently placed box, before gripping the edge of the roof. She had chosen a smaller building; which indeed would be easy to get to the top of, and the top of other buildings.

The roof was short; and made it easy to climb on, and so Rayne did just that. The climb was very short; and Rayne stood on the roof, her eyes surveyed floor 1, however the other buildings blocked her view. She would have to get higher; in order to see anything that was bigger, she walked backwards, and ran forward her leap was long; and she made it easily, higher up... She was on a somewhat tall building; she stood up tall, before she thought back to that one man that had spoke to her, Rayne let out a huff of annoyance That man was just... weird.
