Scarlett_ 0 Posted July 12, 2015 #1 Share Posted July 12, 2015 "Floor 3!" The girl yelled in an energetic tone whilst running onto the teleportation station, in just a few seconds she found herself in delilah village, her favorite town. Floor 3 had become her favorite while she was looking for a place to open her shop, the lovely dandelion fields and architecture made it a really easy choice for her. Eliza had been looking around on floor 1 to find some new equipment, but sadly she couldn't afford any since she used up all of her materials and barely had any col. So far the girl was still walking around in starting gear, only with a new dagger. Eliza sighed and laid down onto a wooden bench located infront of what seemed to be an inn. The girl looked up at the blinding sun with a smile on her face. Floor 3 usually had amazing weather which was convenient. It was never too hot and never too cold on the floor. Liz curled up into a ball and closed her eyes. She slowly fell asleep on the wooden bench. ~30 minutes later~ Even though delilah village was filled with elves that made quite some noise Eliza managed to fall asleep. It was easy for her to do so, falling asleep was one of the few things she was really good at. "I... Need water for the penguins to eat.." "Batman is so cool I wish he was here.." "The potato needs.....a car to fly to work.." And again, weird sentences came out of her mouth, one after another. Eliza was a good sleeper but was usually woken up by her brother since she talked in her sleep. "I am hungry but the cabinet told me not to eat things.." She mumbled while rolling over, with her face now pointed towards the crowded path.
Lowenthal 0 Posted July 12, 2015 #2 Share Posted July 12, 2015 Lowenthal was walking throughout the town of the third floor. It was a normal day, sun shining the clouds were white and not covering much of the sky. It was overall a nice day. The elves looked at Lowenthal, with a tinge of disgust in their eyes. Apparently they didn't like red haired, black jacket wearing, kunai wearing masters of stealth. Lowenthal chuckled to himself, before he noticed some strange albeit cute noises from his right. Lowenthal turned, and saw a young girl was napping. Lowenthal walked over, and watched her as she slept for a few more seconds before kneeling down, and gently tapped her shoulder. "Hey. Time to wake up." He said, gently shaking her.
Scarlett_ 0 Posted July 12, 2015 Author #3 Share Posted July 12, 2015 Eliza was dreaming about herself and her brother at a younger age, well it wasn't really a dream.. Infront of her was her father, yelling at her as her brother tried to calm him down. Her innocence usually led to iritations, as her dad would always get incredibely angry whenever she asked something. In her dream her father slowly came closer and closer.. With his baseball bat in his right hand. When he suddenly hit her in the stomach. As she fell down her brother grabbed her shoulders.. The girl woke up and immediatly shouted "No!". Liz was breathing heavily and didn't even notice the man next to her for about 10 seconds. Her cheeks turned red as she looked at the man. "Uhm.. I'm sorry.. uhm.." She quickly got up from the bench and looked up at the much taller man. "Hi.. sorry about that.." She forced an awkward smile onto her face. Liz somehow knew the man.. After staring at him for a few seconds she noticed that it was the person that had visited her shop before, wondering if she could make two rings for him.. The situation became even more embarrassing by the fact that she yelled at him, her first customer.
Lowenthal 0 Posted July 12, 2015 #4 Share Posted July 12, 2015 Lowenthal jumped back, suddenly surprised by the small girl's outburst. He began laughing at himself, enjoying the fact that he got scared. He sat back up, now sitting down in front of the bench. "You okay?" He said, calming down. Lowenthal chuckled as she apologized. "Don't fret about it. It's fine." Lowenthal said. He felt like he knew her from somewhere. "Hey. You're the girl who has that quaint little shop. The artisan right?" Lowenthal said, placing the girl in his mind.
Scarlett_ 0 Posted July 12, 2015 Author #5 Share Posted July 12, 2015 "I'm fine it-it's nothing" Liz looked at the man that sat down infront of the bench so that he could look directly at her. "Yeah, sorry for panicking so much.." She said to answer the man's question. She slowly began to feel a bit more comfortable , her cheeks turned back to normal and her awkward weird smile dissapeared. "My name's Eliza, nice to meet you again." She smiled and let out a small yawn. The girl quickly covered her mouth with her left hand since it was quite rude to just yawn in someone's face. Eliza rubbed her eyes and cleared her throat. She didn't know how long she had been sleeping and was slightly blinded by the bright sun. Liz noticed that the elves were constantly looking at their way with not the most comfortable look.. It seemed as if they were annoyed by the the presence of one of the two real players. Eliza quickly looked away from them, back to the man infront of her with a smile on her face. Lowenthal 0 Posted July 12, 2015 #6 Share Posted July 12, 2015 Lowenthal chuckled as she yawned. "You're sure your name's not adorable? Cause you definitely are." Lowenthal asked, laughing slightly. He held out a fist in front of her. "I'm Lowenthal. Great to meet you again." He said, with a large smile on his face. Just how old is this girl, she looked troubled by something in her dreams. Lowenthal thought it would be rude to ask about her dreams, at least off the bat. "So, how old are you? If you don't mind me asking." Lowenthal asked, hoping that Eliza wouldn't take offence. Scarlett_ 0 Posted July 14, 2015 Author #7 Share Posted July 14, 2015 Liz began to blush again as the man called her.. adorable? The girl put her hands on her lap and looked down as her cheeks once again became red. It didn't happen a lot, people calling her adorable or cute was almost rare for the girl. Her brother and friends had given her "Godzilla" as nickname. Even though it was a bit over the top they said that Liz was capable of destroying a whole country if she didn't get what she wanted. She looked up at the man's fist with a slightly confused look on her face. She slowly lifted her left hand and gave the man a fist bump, not really knowing what he was expecting her to do. Eliza smiled and looked up at the man. "I'm 15, I get that it's hard to see since I look like an 8 year old" She giggled "And how old may you be" She said, kind of meaning it as a joke since it wasn't hard to see that the man was older than her and probably in his 20's. Atleast that's what she thought because of his length and voice.
Lowenthal 0 Posted July 14, 2015 #8 Share Posted July 14, 2015 Lowenthal smiled as Eliz bumped fists with him. "Wow, 15. That's younger than my sister." Lowenthal said, laughing. "Me?" He said, pointing to himself. "Well, I'm 21, and I'l be 22 soon." He said, smiling. "So, what brings you to floor 3?" Lowenthal asked, curious. Was she here to hunt materials, or something else. The agenda of small girls always confused Lowenthal, which is why his sister had so much fun messing with him.
Scarlett_ 0 Posted July 15, 2015 Author #9 Share Posted July 15, 2015 Liz chuckled and smiled as the man said that she was younger than his sister. Eliza had always wanted to know how it was to have a sister. well her brother always said that having one was amazing yet terrifying at the same time. Even though she had quite some interest in having an older sister she couldn't imagine having one since she grew up around guys and didn't have any female friends. "So it's your birthday soon?" She said in a happy and energetic tone, Liz never really celebrated her birthday. When she still lived with her parents they would usually just let her decide what she wanted to eat and that was all, no presents, no family, nothing.. She now lived with her uncle and aunt that did make a cake for her and buy some things when it was her birthday. Eliza didn't want to have family come over since she simply didn't really know them that well. When the man asked her what she was doing on floor 3 she didn't really know what to say. "Well uhm. I don't really know? I just came back from floor 1 and I was looking for some better equipment but eh.. I don't have a lot of money so I didn't really buy anything." She took a slight pause and looked behind her "I'm quite hungry so would you like to eat something here?" She pointed at the inn behind her. "I think I have enough money to pay for us both" She smiled and got up whilst stretching her arms.
Lowenthal 0 Posted July 17, 2015 #10 Share Posted July 17, 2015 Lowenthal smiled. "Yeah, it' coming up. I find it's always exciting to have a birthday. I mean, the parties at least." Lowenthal said. "But I dislike the presents. I mean, everyone has a birthday, what makes mine so special?" Lowenthal said. He perked up at the mention of food. "Food? I could eat. But I'll be damned if I let you pay for it." He said, standing as well. "Wouldn't look good on me if I let someone so little buy me food." He said, scratching his nose. Scarlett_ 0 Posted July 17, 2015 Author #11 Share Posted July 17, 2015 "I love birthdays, However I don't have a lot of experience with birthday parties as I don't have a lot of experience with them." She said while pulling up her jacket's sleeves. "Well as i'm a kid I love presents" She grinned. "But I don't need many of them, Give me a cake, pie or something else and you have to watch out because I will hug that person untill he can't breathe" She said with a giggle. It was true though, presents were heavily appreciated by her and if someone gave her something she would turn into their personal slave. Eliza adjusted the blue ribbons in her hair and smiled. "It would be very generous if you pay but that means that you accept that I will do something back for you." She looked up at lowenthal whilst talking. The girl was doing her best to look a bit better whilst talking to the man, she looked quite terrible so quickly adjusted her clothes in the mean time. She leaned down and pulled her boots up. "Now, shall we go inside" She said with a chuckle.
Lowenthal 0 Posted July 18, 2015 #12 Share Posted July 18, 2015 Lowenthal smiled. "Presents are nice. I just don't see the point." He said. "And yeah, I'm fine with you owing me. Do I get to pick the favor?" Lowenthal asked, walking inside the tavern. The tavern was nice. In the center stood a hollowed tree, inside which was bricked that served as a fire place. The tables were wooden, along with the floor. And as a centerpiece for each table stood a single candle. "Fancy." Lowenthal said, adjusting to the lighting of the area. "You pick a spot." Lowenthal said, nudging Liz.
Scarlett_ 0 Posted July 19, 2015 Author #13 Share Posted July 19, 2015 Liz smiled and looked up at the taller man. "Of course my lord, You can pick the favor if you wish so" She said followed up by a giggle. Eliza followed the man into the tavern and looked around the warm, cozy interior. It looked really humble and unique. "It looks lovely" Liz walked forwards and looked for a good table to sit, she saw a table that was quite close to the fire place and pulled the man after her. She sat down and smiled as she pulled her jacket down. A waitress immediatly walked towards the table and asked them if they would like anything to drink. Liz ordered a cup of tea and leaned back into the wooden chair with. "So.. What brought you to floor 3?" She said, not knowing what to ask the man. She was bad at conversations so hoped that the man would prevent silence.
Lowenthal 0 Posted July 19, 2015 #14 Share Posted July 19, 2015 Lowenthal sat down, across from Liz. He ordered a fruit smoothie and waved the waitress away. "Why am I on the third floor? Well, I was actually looking for a beach. And then I got sidetracked, by a little sleeping thing." Lowenthal said, smiling. "I wanna find a beach before my birthday." Lowenthal said, touching his chin in thought. "And for that favor you owe me. I think I have an idea." Lowenthal said, smiling. He had a thought, but it would be completely up to her. Scarlett_ 0 Posted July 19, 2015 Author #15 Share Posted July 19, 2015 "A beach? I didn't even know that there was a beach. I'm sorry for distracting you then" She said with a chuckle. Liz looked around the tavern and smiled, it wasn't that crowded really but it had a much better vibe than some other inns and taverns that she had seen so far. "That's a lovely location to have a birthday" She said to him whilst looking at the waitress that put their drinks on the table. Eliza thanked the woman and grabbed her tea. "Well tell me your idea then, Sir" She said and giggled. Eliza took a slight sip of her tea and immediatly regretted it. Liz almost burned her tongue as the tea was still really hot. The girl choked and quickly cleared her throat. "Well that was.. Idiotic" She said with a awkward smile on her face.
Lowenthal 0 Posted July 20, 2015 #16 Share Posted July 20, 2015 Lowenthal smiled as he received his smoothie. "Well, I have a guild. And I want you to join it." Lowenthal said, taking a sip of his smoothie. Lowenthal wasn't one to beat around the bush, so he got right to the point. And his guild needed an artisan, which he knew Liz was. Two birds with one stone. "What do you say?" Lowenthal asked, taking another sip of his smoothie.
Scarlett_ 0 Posted July 20, 2015 Author #17 Share Posted July 20, 2015 Liz frowned and looked at him with a really surprised look, she had already joined a guild and didn't plan on leaving it really. WIth a somewhat shocked expression on her face she sighed and and took a sip of her tea. She put the cup back down on the table and looked up at Lowenthal. "Well uhm.. You see I actually am already part of a uhm.. guild.." She said, slightly sad about the fact that she couldn't accept, not like she wanted to go out of silver moon, but because she didn't want to dissapoint him. Liz hoped that the man would understand as he was probably able to make her leave simply out of guilt. Joining Silver moon was a good choice in her eyes, even though she wasn't that familiar with all the members, she only knew 3 really.
Lowenthal 0 Posted July 21, 2015 #18 Share Posted July 21, 2015 Lowenthal raised an eyebrow. "Oh, I know." He said, pointing to the guild symbol above her name. "But what does that guild offer you, that I couldn't?" Lowenthal asked, starting to make his case. "I mean, you know me. To an extent." Lowenthal said, taking another drink from his smoothie. "And my guild is happily the third strongest in all of Aincrad. And I believe that you could make us even stronger." Lowenthal said. "And we were actually going to have a 'Guild Meeting' soon." Lowenthal said, leaning in. "That means party." He said in a whisper.
Scarlett_ 0 Posted July 21, 2015 Author #19 Share Posted July 21, 2015 The girl stared down at the table, not knowing what to do. She didn't want to leave, even though what he said was true there was a thing that he couldn't give her as much at the guild could. And that was simply love, she didn't have the guts to leave them. Even though she wanted to make her brother proud by becoming strong, it felt wrong to accept. It would simply be backstabbing them. She gazed infront of her for a bit, not knowing how to answer. It was going to be a no.. probably. But how could she say that in a polite way? She took a deep breath and looked at Lowenthal. With a dead serious expression on her face she began to talk, her sweet and energetic voice now changing into an emotionless one. I understand that you are indeed one of the strongest guilds. But there is a thing that you can't give me, love. I don't have that logo floating above my head without a reason, I decided to join silver moon. I went there and was greeted with a big smile by everyone in the guild-No, the family. Don't get me wrong on this but asking me to simply abandon them is something that I can't appreciate. My answer is No.." Liz was surprised by how she just acted, this was the way to make her brother proud. Saying no was hard, but she was somewhat dissapointed by the fact that the man did this. She suddenly realized that she had denied a incredibely strong person, and had actually did so in a somewhat rude way. I-I'm sorry the girl mumbled as her cheeks went red from embarrassment. idiot.. you should've just said no instead of giving a speech she thought as she quickly took a sip of her tea. Lowenthal 0 Posted July 22, 2015 #20 Share Posted July 22, 2015 Lowenthal stared at the girl sitting across from him. He smiled. "Good on ya. Sticking to your guns." He said, taking another drink of his smoothie, effectively downing the last of it. "I understand what you mean. And where you're coming from. And it was unfair for me to ask that of you." He said, calling the waitress over. "And don't worry about the favor. Consider it waived. A payment for my rudeness." He said standing. "And if you need anything, let me know. I'll be sure to show up." He said, sending the girl a friend request before leaving.
