The dire wolf, with its blood eyes, charged toward first this time. Golden smirked, aware of the attack and the fact that he could probably easily dodge the attack. Golden easily dodged out of the way from the charged attack and prepared for a counter as well. With his rapier by his side, Golden charged toward the wolf. However, right when Golden smiled, know that his attack was going to hit, the wolf jumped aside unexpectedly. Golden cursed, aware that he hadn't been able to land a hit in the last three attacks of his. Need to do better Golden. He thought.

Golden really wanted to end the battle. Yet, he was still stuck fighting this lame wolf who wasn't man enough to fight. It just continued being able to dodge his attacks and he wasn't able to hit the wolf at all. Golden sighed as once again, a battle turn had been wasted with both parties managing to miss their individual target by miles. Golden sighed, disappointed and tired about the day. He had fought three wolves and you'd think they were all easy to kill. Yet, I've spent all day fighting them. Golden thought. I definitely need improvement. Golden thought.

He had kinda predicted that he would miss this attack and to be honest... he was getting extremely annoyed at the fact that he was unable to hit the target but relieved that he'd managed to avoid the wolf's attack as well. This time, his rapier managed to land on the ground as the wolf dodged the attack before attacking Golden. Golden was able to roll out of the way despite his lack of flexibility in his heavy armor. Golden sighed, praying that he could finally land a hit after all those misses. He was quite confident since he is a religious person.

Golden smiled, but deep inside, he was extremely frustrated at the the fact that it was about night and the wolf was still alive and running. He sighed before attempting one more attack on the wolf yet once again, he was completely unsuccessful on landing the attack. With a curse, Golden stood still, hoping that the wolf would be able to hit him since the battle was getting to quite a stalemate and Golden was extremely bored of how long the battle was taking. With a leap, the wolf charged toward Golden and guess what? It missed a still target. Come on. Golden thought in frustration.

This time, Golden was determined that he will manage a hit on the evasive wolf. With his rapier by his right side, he charged toward the wolf with the fastest speed he could manage to generate and he smiled... since he was able to slice the rapier into the head of the wolf. His smile turned into a menacing grin when he digged the sword into its head even deeper. There we go. He thought. Soon, it'd be over. Golden retreated after dealing damage to avoid damage. Golden smiled even wider when he is able to activate his battle healing skill. Not so useful at this point. Golden thought.

Golden wasn't irritated... at least he didn't think he was irritated. Golden sighed before striking out once again... he'd managed to make contact with his last attack and this time, he hoped it would work just as well as last time. However, he was wrong and he wasn't able to hit his target. With a cough, Golden retreated, prepared to dodge the wolf's attack. This is lame. Golden thought as the wolf charged toward him trying to deal some damage and hopefully end the fight as well. He was easily able to dodge the attack when he rolled out of the way.

Golden strikes immediately after the last turn of battle. He grinned when the wolf was unable to react quick enough and it resulted in a rapier passing through it. It's been fun. Golden thought as the wolf was unable to free itself. Suddenly, Golden's eyes grew wider as the wolf managed to move its arms and free itself. Determined eh? Golden thought, ready to continue combat when the wolf pounced up high into the sky and coming down to strike Golden's stomach. Unfortunately, Golden was unable to dodge the attack but at least his thorns enhancement was able to deal quite a bit of damage.

Golden had his blade by his side once again... preparing to hit the target. He honestly thinks that the battle should end soon. Perhaps he was missing skill or maybe it was just due to bad luck... however, there was another possibility that he'd managed to miss his target once again to hit his rapier against a gigantic rock. Maybe the game is bias to the mobs. Golden decided, thinking that that was probably the only explanation for his lack of luck recently. I'd like to work on my accuracy a bit... but that is not my priority at the moment. He thought, unable to contain his frustration at the moment and how long the battle was taking.

The wolf, however, was just a mob striving for survival. It used the last of its health trying to attack Golden. The game wouldn't let it escape and Golden was pretty sure that it would run if it could. With a sigh, Golden stood his ground, allowing the thorns enhancement to penetrate into the wolf that had attacked Golden. Hopeless. He thought with a cold stare as the wolf growled in anger and disappointment. One more attack. Is that so much to ask for? Golden thought as he prayed that he will hit the target the next attack and sword skill he uses.
