Beoreson 0 Posted August 9, 2015 #1 Report Share Posted August 9, 2015 (edited) After Beoreson set up his shop he decided that he was going to need to go and gather more supplies in order to make any weapons. He remembered that he he would need to grab Timber, Leather, and Ore. So Beoreson set off to go and retrieve the supplies needed in order to start having inventory in his store. He decided that he would get the mats for two swords. Beoreson came up with a plan for collection of the mats. He decided to go up to the second floor to mine some ore, then he would come back down to drop them off, then he would set off to get the rest of the items to make the sword. So Beoreson spent the fifteen minutes to walk all the way to the mine. Once he arrives he picks up a pickaxe, and a torch. Beoreson activates the torch and walks into the mine to go and gather the ore. After he enters the mine Beoreson goes about looking for some iron vain but can't seem to find anything that looks even remotely like the shine of metal in the barren stone walls of the mining shaft. Spending fifteen minutes wondering around in the dimly lit area, Beoreson finally found something of value. There was a small patch on the wall that was shiny and off colored. Beoreson took his pickaxe and raised it up to start mining. After hitting the ore a few times an item finally dropped. Beoreson scoped the item up and got ready to start looking again. Beoreson then headed deeper into the cave in hopes of getting something to use for his blacksmithing. Link to post Share on other sites

He walks a bit further into the mine as he starts to see the turn coming up, he gets a shiver down his spine. Beoreson turns the corner and walks for a bit. He then notices another shiny patch in the wall. Beoreson goes over and sure enough it is an ore. Beoreson takes the pickaxe and begins to mine the ore out of the wall. He takes a few minutes but, again an item pops out of the wall. He then picks it up again. Deciding now was the time to leave, Beoreson let's his fear over take and starts booking it out of the cave. Siting outside the cave for a moment, then he puts back the pickaxe and torch. Beoreson then wonders around the forest a while. Then a thought comes to him. "I can just get the leather and timber from this floor. I don't need to go back a forth." Beoreson decides that he is going to go and get the leather first. He walks around for a bit, looking for something to fight. Eventually he sees a wolf a little bit away. Link to post Share on other sites

This doesn't work as the wolf charges at Beoreson. He pulls up his sword and bats the wolf away, and backs up himself. The wolf springs off the sword, and lands a few feet away from Beoreson. The wolf which is a little over three feet at it's tallest, snarls with it's gleaming white teeth. Beoreson raises his sword defensively over his chest to stop any incoming attacks. The forest floor is covered in grass, with a patch of dirt here and there. The wolf leaps into the air soaring towards Beoreson with the intent of killing him. Beoreson simply takes his sword and smacks the wolf with the flat of his blade, which makes the wolf soar back though the air in the other direction. The wolf lands on it's paws and snarls at the pesky human. Beoreson takes a deep breath and get's ready for another attack from the wolf. Link to post Share on other sites

The wolf lowers it's belly to the ground again, it's tail waging back and forth slowly. Then suddenly the wolf launches into the air, towards Beoreson. Beoreson seeing the beast flying towards him takes a step to the side to avoid the beast's onslaught. Beoreson then raises his sword over his head and brings it down in a long arc. The wolf yips in pain as the blade strikes the wolf's backside. The wolf smashes into the ground instead of landing. Link to post Share on other sites

The wolf plays dead after it hits the ground, the wolf lays perfectly still. Beoreson moves towards the beast to finish the wounded thing off. He raises his sword over his head. But right before he brings the blade down on the beast it leaps up and bites his left leg. Beoreson swears a few times as he shakes is leg trying to remove the wolf from it. He then tries to bring his blade down on the wolf. The wolf leaps away, backing up a little bit, looking for signs of weakness. Link to post Share on other sites

He waited for the wolf to make it's next attack. The wolf lowered it belly to the ground, and snarled menacing. The wolf sprung up into the air, streaking towards the black haired warrior. The warrior took a step to the right to dodge the wolf's attack. He then raised his sword up over his head. He then, swung the sword down in a long arc, attempting to slice the wolf in half. Beoreson was a little shocked that he missed but, still got ready for the wolf's next onslaught. Beoreson then takes his sword and put's it in a more offensive stance as to avoid getting charged by the wolf. The wolf doesn't lunge attack, as it would just skew itself on the blade. So, the wolf charges along the ground towards Beoreson. Beoreson takes the flat of his blade and smacks at the wolf, as it charged towards him. The wolf then, growls and lowers it's body to the ground and prepares to lunge at the black haired warrior. The wolf flies though the air towards Beoreson trying to tear him to ribbons. Beoreson takes his sword and bats away the wolf. The wolf bounces off the blade, and lands on it's paws ready to attack again at any moment. Beoreson thinks to himself that he may need another plan. He thinks to himself,"Okay, if side stepping is no longer going to work then, I may need to attack it head on . Time to put this plan to the test" He then prepares for the wolf's next attack. The wolf lowers it body to the ground as it normally does. The wolf then, springs into the air towards Beoreson. Beoreson raises his sword over his head as the wolf flies towards him. The wolf connects with him knocking him to the ground. The wolf then bites his shoulder and shakes it's head back and fourth. Groaning in the discomfort of being bitten and knocked over the black haired, warrior takes his chance to stab the wolf. He takes his sword and prepares to strike. While the wolf continues to shake it's head pulling at the wound, the warrior takes his blade and jams it into the the right side of the wolf. The wolf releases it grip on the warrior and backs away whimpering. The warrior grins, something in this fight was finally going his way. Link to post Share on other sites

He takes a moment to make an assessment of his situation. He can see that the wolf is injured but, not out of fighting spirit. He can also tell that he himself is injured but not too badly. He also has no potions and, no crystals, and his only blade is his basic blade he already has. He comes to the conclusion that he is going to be fine. The wolf seeing that he is distracted lunges up into the air towards him. Beoreson then, takes his blade and prepares to smack the wolf backwards and avoid the attack but, the wolf's injures make the leap impossible and it crashes to the ground. He runs over to the fallen wolf, yelling at the top of his lungs. He takes his sword and slashes at the wolf. The sword hit's and leaves a long, red, pixelated line going from it's shoulder to it's rear. Slightly confused why the wolf wasn't dead yet the warrior stops for a moment. The wolf lunges at the warrior, still trying to rip him to pieces. Beoreson bats the wolf again. The wolf flies backwards and lands on it's paws still ready to fight some more. The black haired warrior prepares to defend himself. The wolf snarls and propels itself into the air flying towards the black haired warrior known as Beoreson. Beoreson quickly bats the wolf backwards away from himself. The wolf springs back and lands on the ground, slightly swaying. Beoreson knows now that the wolf is almost done, he prepares for a counter attack when the wolf next attacks him. The wolf snarls and begins to circle around him. Link to post Share on other sites

The black haired warrior charges forward towards the wolf with the hopes of not tripping again. He then raises his sword over his head and tries to strike the wolf. With the next strike he was hoping to finish off the wolf, and look for another one to fight.. Sadly for Beoreson the wolf was not that injured and was able to dodge out of the way of the strike from Beoreson's sword. Link to post Share on other sites

The wolf lowered itself to the ground and prepared to lunge at the black haired warrior again. Beoreson then went into his defensive stance with his sword guarding his chest. The wolf snarled and leaped towards the warrior again. The black haired warrior then, took his sword bated the wolf away, Beoreson was getting sick of this routine of attack and defend. so, he decided to start planing his next attack. The wolf seeing him distracted prepared to attack again. The wolf lowered it's heavily injured form, low to the ground that was now no longer covered in leaves as the fighting had pushed most of the leaves away from the fighting area. The wolf then, snarled and lunged towards the black haired warrior. The black haired warrior was still in thought and could only make a simple dodge.
