Thorrissia 0 Posted August 14, 2015 #1 Report Share Posted August 14, 2015 (edited) It appeared that once again, the aspiring alchemist was starting to run low on materials, so what better way to replenish them than to go out into the woods and hunt down some Mobs and look for Mats. The young brunette locked the door to her shop and began to stride purposefully into the thick leafy jungle, singing away cheerily to herself as she went. "I'm off to hunt some materials, because I'm running so terribly low on them!" Her tune seemed to roughly follow that of the Wizard of Oz'z "we're off to see the wizard" as the young warrior skipped over the thick spattering of undergrowth that so tangled over the area. Thorrissia wondered if Golden went off on likewise excursions in order to stock up his unusual food bank on floor one. Probably. The girl let out a disappointed sigh before hooking her hands around a low hanging branch of a large thick trunked tree and heaving herself into the tangled branches, hoping that there might be something decidedly more exciting up there. A wicked smile blazed across her lips. Ohhhh yes. Haha! Thorrissia began to move quickly, in a monkey like fashion towards the vulnerable bee hive. As soon as she was a few inches away from the large waxy structure, she plunged her hand quickly into the middle of the hive and ripped out some honey cone. The girl let out a painful yelp as a couple of infuriated bees plunged their stingers into her hand and began to climb back down to the ground as quickly as possible. Bee good little bees." The thief chuckled merrily to herself as she raced away from the bee tree. Seeing as her luck seemed to be picking up a little bit, the young warrior headed straight over to the next tree she saw and began to climb once again, this time coming across not a bee hive, but a collectable type of leaf. She recognised what that meant: tiger. Sure enough a lean mean orange and black fighting machine burst from behind a tree and made a dash for the young brunette's legs. The alchemist jumped backwards in surprise, only just dodging getting her legs shredded and slashed the beast across the muzzle, causing the tiger to cry out in pain and surprise. Thorrissia had dealt with worse however, and as the giant striped beast charged at her, the young warrior had very little difficulty in using her skills to save her, moving swiftly out of the way and scoring her sword in a nasty orange slice across the tiger's back. Much to the beast's fury and indignation, its claws struck empty air once again. Thorrissia turned to deal a blow to the creature, but it seemed that the giant cat had picked up its act a little as the monster bounded out of the way, growling impatiently. As the monster sprung suddenly from its position, claws out stretched in her direction, the young warrior reacted only just in time by tucking and rolling out of the way. Feeling rather annoyed at almost having been bested by the beast, the aspiring alchemist jabbed Volundraesia aggressively into the tiger's side, causing it to stumble backwards at the unexpected agony and roar out in a furious protest. The tiger got her from behind, leaving an ugly orange mark over the young warriors back. Determined not to loose any more HP, the brunette spun suddenly on her heel, giving the tiger no time to react before cutting it clean in half with Volundraesia. The giant striped beast burst into a shower of blue, leaving its executioner with a hefty 120 col as a prize. "I wonder what else is wonder around out here..." Not too long after battling a tiger, she came across yet another material to add into the collection. A rare jungle flower was sprouting up from the roots of a near by tree and the brunette rushed eagerly over to the exotic looking item to pluck it from its home. Thorry's fingers closed tightly over the thin green stem holding the delicate material in place, and plucked it rather unceremoniously from its resting place, adding it to her inventory. The jungle was refusing to yield anything else in this area, but seeing as she'd just received a decent amount of materials, the girl refused to be disheartened about it and moved on through the thick leafy woodlands to see what might be more beneficial to find other than nothing. The thick overhanging canopies of beautiful leafy foliage were quite a sight, especially how the trees scattered the warm floor six sunshine over the brown twig encrusted forest floor, dappling it with gold. It was whilst marvelling the pale blue sky that the young warrior came across her next material. A large tropical bird fluttered out from its nest, depositing a long fluffy pink feather right in front of the wonderer. Thorrissia bent down and snatched the material from the forest floor, feeling rather pleased with how her gathering efforts were going. When Thorrissia turned her head however... there was a giant two headed snake staring right into her eyes. "AGH!" She screeched in surprise, thwacking Volundraesia straight into the monster as a reflex reaction. The snake let out a strangled hissing noise as it plummeted to the ground and one of its heads took a snap at Thorry's ankle, only to get a mouthful of dirt. Ewww it's a mutant. The young warrior attempted to stab the creature with her sword, but for a two headed freak, the snake moved surprisingly fast, slithering sneakily out of the way. It was extremely hard to focus on more than one head, and poor Thorry almost found herself with a couple of fangs sunk into her foot. "Ew you're gross, go away!" The young warrior attempted to decapitate one of the heads from the creature, but the snake slithered out of the way and the other head sunk its fangs right into her foot. "Take that!" The animal now looked exceptionally disturbing with a weird second neck sticking out of its body, and Thorrissia couldn't help but feel completely repulsed by it. The remaining head let out a violent shrivelled little cry and attempted to avenge its other head, but the girl moved out of the way, feeling rather triumphant at having maimed it so.
