SP-F2: Hunting for mats Complete!

     The young warrior know as Beoreson decided that he was going to go hunting for mats today. He stopped by his shop to equip Shadowsteel. A black ninjato that had an accuracy buff, and a damage buff. He needed to test the blade out on a mission of some sort and decided that the best thing to do would be hunting. The young warrior took off his chest plate as he didn't have the skill. He closed up his shop and stepped out into the busy streets. He walked the path to the teleporter. He arrived at the teleporter in about fifteen minutes of walking through the streets. He walked onto one of the teleport pads, and selected the second floor. There was a flash of white light then, he was on the forest floor that, also housed several mountains.

     Beoreson walks through the forest looking for a monster to fight. He eventually finds a wolf that is standing in a small clearing in the forest. He goes to draw Shadowsteel but, just as the blade comes from the sheath with it's slight sound of metal on wood he drops it. Cursing as he smashed his foot with the handle of his own blade, the young warrior thinks back to the last time that he had fought a wolf. The answer boils down to a while ago. The wolf made aware of the warrior's precedes to growl then, backs up away from the warrior.

    The wolf was slightly larger then,  the other wolves Beoreson had fought before. The wolf lowered onto it's hunchs and growled. Beoreson thought to himself,"Good, I'm not the only thing getting stronger." The young, raven haired warrior then, picked up his blade, and went into a defensive stance . The stance he was in a basic one, all he was doing was standing sideways with the sword between him and the wolf. The wolf sprung forward, and Beoreson easily countered it with his black, ninjato.

    The young warrior takes in his surroundings quickly. He is deep in the woods on floor two. He entered a clearing and the grass is about ankle deep. Enough to trip over if he isn't careful. He notices that while he was taking in his surroundings that his [BattleHealing] had come in to play. He decided that the best plan was to attack the enemy.

    The young, raven haired warrior charges towards the wolf with Shadowsteel held high over his head. The wolf sprang forward attacking the warrior. The young warrior managed to step to the side as he barely manages to avoid the wolf's attack. The warrior brought his sword down, cutting off the wolf's tail. The wolf howls in pain as it lands on the ground. The wolf's tail follows suit a second later. The tail then, explodes into red pixels.

    The wolf growled in anger as having it's tailed cut off was rather bothersome. The wolf growled then, lowered it's damaged body to the ground to attack the young warrior. The wolf then, launched into the air sailing towards the young, raven haired warrior. The young warrior deflected the wolf's attack by, batting the wolf to the side as it came towards him. The wolf smashed into the ground slightly damaged from it's fall. The young warrior thought to himself,"Man, it has been a while since I have farmed."

The young raven haired warrior waited for the wolf to make it's next attack. The wolf followed it's usual pre-attack pattern of growling and then, lowering it's body to the ground. The wolf suddenly sprung into the air, flying towards the young, raven haired warrior. The young warrior took a step to the right, out of the way of the wolf's attack. The young warrior raised his ninjato up and with the flash of steel he brought the weapon down. The slash cut the wolf's left side, leaving a long, red pixelated line.

     After the young warrior hit the wolf, it fell to the floor, and took some damage. The young warrior thought to himself,"This is oddly easy I should go to the third floor soon." The wolf slowly manages to pick up it's heavily wounded body from the grassy floor. The wolf then, growled and leaped forward. The young warrior moved out of the way of the wounded wolf. He decided that it would be best to avoid this attack and not press his luck counter attacking the monster. The wolf's attack missed as the young, warrior leaped out of the way.

    The young warrior decided to launch an attack of his own after the wolf landed. The wolf landed gracefully and then, turned it's body to face the young, warrior. Beoreson charged forward, but he tripped on the grass. Laying in the dirt he thinks to himself,"Nothing really, changed has it. No matter how powerful I get, I'm just going to trip and land face first into the ground." The warrior picks himself, and grabs his sword. the wolf growls and attacks the young warrior by leaping again. This time however it doe not growl. The wolf's attack is deflected by the young warrior. He thinks to himself," It's just going to get more, and more difficult."

     The wolf  being deflected by the young warrior, decided that the best way to attack was to do it suddenly and from an unexpected angle. The wolf lunged forward. Beoreson not expecting another attack so, soon is caught off guard. The wolf bites his left leg. The young warrior groans in the slight pain of being bitten. He made a mental note to put some skill point in some sort of armor soon. The wolf after biting him, backed away a little bit. Beoreson shook his sword in anger at the wolf, as he didn't get a counter attack.

The wolf realizing that it was going to die soon, released a giant howl. The howl was an ability called [Howl of the Pack]. Beoreson rushed forward and finished off the wolf as it was howling but, the young warrior was to late. The wolf after being killed exploded into a million pixels. Just as a mat fell to the ground a new wolf emerged from the forest to take the place of it's fallen companion. The wolf howled as it prepared it's own assault  The young warrior dodged out of the way as the wolf went sailing by him.

     The new wolf, moved towards Beoreson, after landing on the ground. The wolf then, did the same attack as a follow up. Sadly for the wolf the attack was deflected by Beoreson again."So, the monster here might work for a while. I can use them for a while still I guess." thinks the young warrior to himself as he backs away from the rabid wolf. The wolf lands on it's paws as it is not heavily injured like the one before it. The wolf backed away from Beoreson, growling. The wolf began to circle the young warrior.

     The wolf circled the young warrior looking for weakness. The wolf noticed that his flank was unguarded. There was only one problem the young warrior was circling with the wolf never turning his back to the beast. The growling wolf charged at the young, raven haired warrior. The young warrior took a step to the left and, brought his black ninjato over his head then He brought it down in a sweeping arc. The slash cut the wolf's right side leaving a long, jagged cut on the beast.The wolf yipped in pain and, backed away from the young warrior. The warrior though to himself,"My, healing isn't working yet. It must be random then."

     The young warrior tripped as he backed away from the wolf, as after hitting the beast only seemed to get angrier. The wolf sensing his weakness rushed forward and bit the young, warrior's right leg. He grunted in pain but, managed to break the wolf's grip on his leg by kicking the wolf with his other the foot. The young warrior staggered to his feet. He thought to himself,"Ow, I might be limping for a little bit. I should really, think of getting in a leveling party, or a guild even." The warrior fights thought the discomfort and continues to deflect the wolf's attack, and the wolf's attacks keep the young warrior from pressing any of his own.

    The young warrior noticed that he was still in discomfort from the bite, and not the stinging that it is normal. This pain was like he was still being stabbed from a dagger and, it was not removed. The young warrior deflected the wolf's attack then, he drops to a knee to see what is wrong with his leg. There is a fang embedded in his leg from when he was bitten. The young warrior grunted in pain as he ripped the fang from his leg. The wolf attacked again, and the warrior managed to roll out of the way.

     The young warrior picked himself off the ground after rolling out of the way. He keep his ninjato in his hand the entire time and managed to avoid gutting himself. The wolf growled as it prepared to attack again. The young warrior went into his defensive stance, as he was now in a position to start fighting again. The wolf snarled then, lunged into the air. The wolf sailed towards the raven haired warrior only to have it's attack deflected from the warrior. The warrior after, attacking backed away from the beast to avoid any extra attacks.

     The young warrior decided that he should launch another counter attack on the wolf. Beoreson waited for the wolf to attack him again. The wolf growled as it prepared to attack the young warrior. The wolf lowered it's body to the ground then, sprung forward sailing towards the raven haired, warrior. The young warrior stepped to the side avoiding the monster's attack. The warrior brought his ninjato up over his head and down then, he brings it down slicing the wolf's side heavily injuring the beast.

    The wolf landed on the ground and yipped in pain. The wolf moved it's heavily injured form as it prepared to attack the raven, haired warrior. The warrior looked at the beast as he prepared to defend himself from another lunge attack. The wolf charged forward and bit the warrior's thigh. The warrior grunted in pain as he was bitten by the wolf. The warrior took his ninjato and slammed the handle of the blade into the wolf's skull. This did not do any damage but, it did make the wolf let go of his leg.

     The young warrior backed away from the beast to heal a little bit. Luckily, his [Battle Healing] skill worked. After healing the small trickle of heal the young warrior rushed the wolf. The wolf dodged to the right. The warrior brought his blade in a sweeping arc going right to left. The blade slashed the beast's chest leaving another pixielated cut. The wolf yipped in pain as it backed away from the warrior. Beoreson could tell from all the wound the monster had sustained that the wolf was very, weak.

     The wolf instantly turned the tables after the young warrior made his attack. The wolf lunged forward towards the raven haired warrior. Beoreson then, had to make a desperate defense from the wolf's onslaught. The warrior barely managed to get away from that little battle of claws, fangs, and blade without getting bitten, or scratched. The warrior backs away from the wolf and thinks to himself,"This isn't getting any easier. I need to finish this soon or I might collapse." The warrior then, stops himself from thinking of the lyrics of a old song.

The young warrior attacks the wolf again by rushing forward. The wolf is to wounded to defend itself and is struck down by the raven haired, warrior. The wolf explodes into a million pixels and two items drop to the ground. The wolf drops a wolf cloak of some sort, and a mat. Beoreson picks them both up real quick. The young warrior then, looks though his inventory and goes over what he has gained on this outing. He counts two mats and a new wolf fur amour. The young warrior puts on the armor to test it out.
