Fearsomely Strong Cider

Some days, in the chill of the cold air of floor 4, you need a place to warm your feet and your soul. A small bar, hardly noticeable to anyone looking for it, is nestled in the wintry town. You may have noticed it sometime and decided to become a regular, or were perhaps recommended. On busy nights, conversations and fun can be heard throughout the nearby alleyway as patrons happily enjoy a night off from battling, worrying, and other stresses that come from the death game.

Endilix is your host, and his specialty is drinks, even some made to custom order, and he can always make it to go. Warm drinks are the best in the cold climate, but if you truly want a cold drink, or even a meal, Endilix can most likely cook one up for you.

So come in, melt the snow from your boots, and enjoy a drink at the Fearsomely Strong Cider.

Becoming a Chef (2 Crafts)

Endilix wasn't exactly sure what to make of this cooking thing. He wanted to make some nice things. Tasty things. He supposed that was a given. But as he stared at his cooking tools he realized that he really had no idea what he was doing. He had no recipes, not preparation, and no actual real world cooking skills. Not that he figured that would help him much here. He gave a sigh, and decided to try making some juice to start. He cut an orange in half, and then proceeded to try to squeeze it into a glass. It was a no go. All he ended up doing was making himself messy.

After the failure with juice, Endilix thought he might try his hand with tea instead. That was his brother's favorite drink after all, and he figured he could at least do that much for Emerath. Maybe he'd actually pop over and have some. Endilix smiled at the thought, as he prepared the tea leaves to actually be usable to make the drink itself. When done, he placed them into a bag and set them in some hot water to turn into actual tea. He was much more successful with this, and he was actually fairly excited by the result as he took a good whiff of the tea. Ooh, Emerath will like that, he thought to himself with a smile.

Try Not to Make a Mess (2 Crafts)

Endilix had managed to make a pretty good set of tea the night before, so he was pretty excited about trying to cook again tonight. He headed into his kitchen and began to play around with the various tools he had. He wasn't sure if he wanted to make tea again tonight, so he tried for a spot of coffee. He ground up the coffee beans and then set them to filter into some water for a nice cup of coffee. He gave it a smell. It didn't seem like the best, but it at least seemed drinkable. He'd take that as a success.

Then Endilix thought he might try some juice again. He shouldn't have tried the juice again. It went marginally better than last time, but it ended up being more pulp than orange juice. He looked at it in the glass and sighed. "Well, maybe someone will drink it..." he mumbled to himself as he went to wash off his hands.

Endilix wanted to keep trying. He had remembered something that Teion and him had talked about previously, before he had opened up shop and started crafting, and that was that she wanted some Strawberry Lemonade. And so Endilix set to work with the tools he had at hand. Learning from his lessons with the orange juice, he actually took better care when juicing the lemons and he diced up the strawberries as well as he could to provide flavor to the lemonade. Endilix actually really missed having a blender. It was too bad this world was a medieval based world. Endilix chuckled at himself as he looked at the ice cold glass that he had made. It looked great, and super tasty. But he couldn't drink it. Oh no. That was for Teion.
