Theme Song

History:

Yato was born in Kabukicho, Japan on November 2^nd. He had been born to an old man named Satsujin Oda and his young wife Kira. For as long as Yato's father had been around, he would always abuse him. Satsujin had always assaulted Yato, because of the excessive amount of alcohol he had always been consuming. This abuse had left several bruises and scars scattered all over Yato's body. He was never happy when he thought of his father because his mind would always jumps to the memories of his abuse. His father was constantly bringing him abuse up until he had turned thirteen.  It had been on his thirteenth birthday that his father had finally decided to leave Yato and Kira to be on their own. The night of his thirteenth birthday, he had never been seen again.  Satsujin's disappearance had thrown Kira into disarray. She had grown to be very sexually frustrated without a man to please her. To release her sexual tension, she had raped Yato. He had to deal with it up until he was sixteen, which had left him in an unstable state psychologically. This instability had caused him to attempt suicide extremely often, yet to no avail. He had always failed in his suicide attempts and after awhile had just stopped caring about whether or not he lived or died. He would distance himself from other people so that he wouldn't have to deal with their pathetic lives, and honestly didn't care about them or anything else going on in the world. This was at least up until he had tuned eighteen. After years of not having a care in the world about anything, he had decided that it was best to enact his fantasies of killing people. It started off with simple torture but grew with each experience up until the point that he had become a murder. In fact, he had even killed the man that had been driving a truck that held the game sword art online. This was when he had tried the game and ended up stuck in Aincrad. This is where out story begins..

 

Personality

Yato appears as a very serious and mysterious person. He is also considered crude, cruel, unpredictable, and merciless. These personalities traits come from how he had been abused mentally, physically, and psychologically as a child. He hates people and very rarely develops relationships and/or friendships with people and will always state what is on his mind, no matter how cruel it may seem.

 

Battle Persona

Yato is very senseless when it comes to battle. He always analyzes the situation before proceeding, and strikes when he is least expected to. His movements are swift and nimble, yet fierce and unpredictable. No matter how he attempts to conceive his plans, they are usually cruel and deadly.

Virtues:

Assertiveness - Yato is rather bold in his actions and endeavors. When he chooses to partake in his violent actions, he does so with all of his being, making sure to complete his task to the best of his ability.

Defiance - Yato defies everything that he possibly can. He will rebel against all authority and plans that they may have, just for the purpose of causing chaos. He believes that defiance is one of the best ways to express his opinions and how he feels about any/all subject(s).

Knowledge - Yato had a vast vault of knowledge when it comes to most subject. He is used to stalking his prey and learning as much about them as possible before jumping into action and taking them out of this world. 

Flaws:

Cruel - Yato is rather cruel in everything that he does in life, whether it be when he talks or how he chooses to enact his actions. He will treat people poorly and be a complete jerk when he is going around hurting people the way that he does. 

Deranged - Due to all of the abuse that had happened to him in his past, he has lost all sense of morality. His actions show how he is mentally insane, due to all of the torture that he chooses to put his victims through. 

Masochist - The activities that had occurred between Yato and his mother had been nothing but a mix of pain and pleasure at first. Overtime though, this mixture had evolved into something so much worse, to the point that he would literally get turned on by the pain that he had received.
