{SP-F4} Forsaken Legacy Part 2

Recommended Posts

Needless to say, Itzal got the lowest amount of loot...  It was still something but still.  The result was two hundred col, two materials and two uncommon consumables.  The loot was added to his inventory and he sighed as he stood up again.  Guess it was time to take on the boss he supposed.  He walked over to the boss room doors and pushed them open, walking into the room.  Inside was a massive room with pipes all over the place.  In the center was the boss, which had massive shields for arms..  Oh, it was basically a massive golem.  It's health was...  larger than he had expected, but that wasn't a big deal really.  The boss of course turned on once he had entered the room and noticed him.  Itzal walked slowly inside, drawing Yakimba from it's sheath, not really afraid as it's damage couldn't be too dangerous could it?  It was leveled to the floor and it was floor four, why should it be dangerous.

Itzal charged forward, using his charge skill obviously, and released the sword art Meteor Strike as per usual.  The attack dealt two hundred and nine points of damage to the boss before the massive golem struck him in return.  The impact had a lot of force behind it granted, and it did land a critical hit.  But the main difference was that, well, the boss' damage dealt like, twenty six points as to his two hundred and nine.  Itzal crashed into the wall and was stuck for a moment but it was clear who the winner here was.  Itzal pushed himself out of the wall and began evading the golem's attacks.  While it didn't deal much damage, he didn't want to be knocked around so much.  The boss was fifteen feet tall, but it was very agile, able to move it's arms and legs quickly despite the size and weight.  The dwarves did a very impressive job he admitted.

This boss fight had to be....  The most boring one he'd ever been in.  He was evading a boss because it was more of a nuisance than anything, and on top of that he was slaughtering it's health like crazy.  This was far, far too easy.  He wanted to get this over with quickly so he could just go home.  The boss swung it's shield like arm down, nearly getting Itzal.  If he wasn't so freaking agile, he would have been hit by now.  Thankfully, that didn't happen.  Itzal landed on his feet and got his balance back, and shot forward at the boss again, running around the shield arm and releasing the Meteor Strike sword art, dealing another one hundred and thirty damage.  He brought it from seven hundred health to a little under five hundred in a single strike.  Now it was at three hundred and thirty or so?  This really was too easy.

Around and around they continued to go.  Itzal would be attacked by the golem, evade it, then go in for the strike.  It would only take one more hit to kill the boss permanently too.  It only had freaking one hundred and sixty one points of health left, and his attacks dealt one hundred and sixty five on a base.  He hadn't even landed bleed or a critical hit yet.  If he had landed a hyper critical at the start of the battle, this boss would probably have like, fifty, sixty health instead of one hundred and sixty. Maybe less.  Velnia was just watching the event as she ate from Itzal's food pouch which she detached before the battle.  He didn't need her and she was hungry.  Win-win...  Well win win for her that is.  This fight was boring her and she was always hungry, so why not she thought?  Itzal wouldn't be mad.

Soon enough Itzal shot forward and released Meteor Strike, finishing off it's health and ending the battle there and then.  He sighed and started breathing as he had finally finished the dungeon.  It was only an hour or two, but it felt like half a year or so.  The boss shattered and the dungeon menu popped up with the congratulations and revealed the dungeon rewards.  Two skill points which was the most important reward thus far.  Five hundred and sixty col, and then four materials.  He stretched his arms and now that the dungeon was completed he may as well go to his shop again.  Maybe look up houses he could buy.  He and Kasier certainly needed a place for them anyways.  Velnia landed on his shoulder and she brought his food pouch with him.  He sighed, guess he was going to have food in a shop again.  Mainly because he needed food and Velnia had eaten it all.  Itzal walked away from the dungeon and would not be coming back.
