[PP-F2-NK] All In (Ruby, Telrenya, Spencer)

Recommended Posts

Jomei looked ahead of him at the hallway they stood in. The wallpaper was peeling, and everything was covered in dust. The small lamps bolted to the wall were dimly lit, the light inside flickering and dying like a flame without oxygen to keep it sustained. Above their heads, he could hear the sound of wooden planks creaking, as if they were not alone, and that entity was now aware of the newly arrived players. The ginger felt a cold sweat run down his jawline as his eyes went back and forth between all of the doors they could possibly enter. The first door, on the right, was slightly opened, and the wall opposite of it had the bolt of a crossbow jammed into the wall. A curious Jomei stepped forward to investigate the arrow, following its path to where it may have come from. Through the opened door, Jomei saw that it seemed to have come from a suit of armor with a crossbow. Living suits of armor.. "Not again.." Jomei mumbled to himself. Between them and the empty knight was a dining hall, the table set with cups, plates, and other cutlery. Thanks to one of the large windows on the opposite wall, though mostly covered with a dark curtain, it illuminated much of the room. "It might be best to head through there and try that door.." Jomei said to his companions, reaching out for the knob of the door to open it the rest of the way. The rusted knob, however, escaped his grasp, as the door slammed shut, the sound of the bolt locking as it did so.

The ginger took a look around at the other doors, seeing the dining hall was not a place the house would let him go. The last door on the left caught his eye, and he slowly walked over to it. It seemed the least threatening to him for some reason. He took in a deep breath, this time able to grab the knob for the door. He took a look over at Ruby and Telrenya before nodding and twisting his wrist. Jomei slowly pulled open the oak door, leaning his head forward to get a glimpse of what was inside; stairs leading down into darkness. A basement of some sorts, he assumed. "It's the basement, maybe we should check this out l-" as Jomei went to close the door to the basement, the door was thrown back open. From the darkness, in an instant, eight arms, looking as though they were made of shadows, grabbed out at Jomei. They grabbed at his legs, his arms, and his head. All at the same moment, they pulled the man, trying to pull him into the darkness. Jomei grabbed onto the door frame, trying to keep his body from being dragged down. The arms were too strong however, and they pulled Jomei down the stairs and into the dark basement, slamming the door shut behind them.

The ginger's body was pulled into the ground, dragging in the dust for a moment. When he felt he was no longer in the grasp of the unknown creature, he popped up to one knee and ripped out his rapier. From what he could tell, there were no monsters down here at all. He brought himself up to his feet to look around him, still nothing. The basement he was in looked older than the mansion itself, most of the walls being made of some sort of old and decaying brick. Most of it was pitch black, save for the single torch that he stood next to at the bottom of the stairs. With his rapier in one hand, Jomei grabbed the torch off of the wall. "Ruby..please protect Tel and get out of here..Both of you. " he said to himself before taking in a deep breath and starting his exploration of the basement.

Saying that Telrenya was a bit jumpy while the ginger tried to lead them in the right direction would have been an understatement. The woman remained silent, mustering up any courage she could get her hands on, while tentatively following behind the other players. As Jomei gave it a second try, opening up a different door from the main entrance, the blonde gave another jump at the shadowy limbs that burst from the room. "Jomei!!" Telrenya shouted the man's name, reaching out for the door just as it slammed shut in front of the women. She grabbed at the handle, trying in vain to pull it back open.

"Should...we try to look for him?" A few long seconds had passed before her hesitant voice escaped her throat. Her fingers fidgeted in front of her torso after she took a couple of small steps back towards the center of the room. It wasn't as though they could leave, and so the blonde looked around the dim foyer for some kind of clue as to how they might find their missing party member. With no such clues to be found, Telrenya approached the first of the closed doors on the left side, giving a nervous glance towards Ruby before she gingerly pushed down on the cold metal handle.

"Huh?" When Telrenya gently pulled and the door creaked open, she was surprised to find a room in stark contrast to the dark and dingy foyer. A pristine white bathroom stood in front of her, well-lit and looking as though it had been meticulously tidied. Immediately intrigued by the very normal-looking room, Telrenya's legs began to carry her inside. "Whoa..." She whispered out, looking around as she crossed through the doorway. "This actually looks--" Her words were cut off another slamming sound as the door swung shut behind her. Telrenya spun around, grabbing at the door's handle as she tried to force it open. "Ruby!?" She called, another surge of panic running through her as she pounded against the sturdy wood a couple of times with a tight fist.

On the second floor of the mansion, tucked away inside of the large master bedroom, Telrenya's banging and muffled cries might be heard by anyone who just happened to be within earshot. The door that she had entered through--the one that led to a massive ballroom--showed no signs of her struggle to return. In fact, Ruby would have found the door harmless and unlocked, though the blonde rapier-wielder would be nowhere to be seen in the ballroom.

Turning around and pressing her back against the door, Telrenya tried to slow her breathing and fight back the tears that welled at the corners of her eyes. At least the room she had managed to get trapped in was...nice. Slowly, she took a few steps away from the door to look around the room. "M-maybe...there's a key somewhere...yeah." The woman mumbled to herself, grasping at anything that might calm her down. Exploring the luxurious bathroom, she at least seemed to be alone--something that didn't seem so bad when there might be shadow monsters or less-than-friendly players roaming about. As she started to open drawers and cabinets in search of a key, the sound of running water caused her to tense up. Telrenya's spine straightened, and she looked to the bathtub--the source of the noise. Pulling back a thin curtain, the woman took on a look of confusion. It had only taken her a few moments to walk over, but the large bathtub was already nearly full. She reached over, turning one of the faucet handles to try and stop the water's flow. A few rotations, and the knob didn't seem to be doing anything. She tried the next, and it was as if they were simply for decoration. The water began to spill over the side of the porcelain tub, water spreading over the tile floor at an alarming rate.

Ruby looked towards Jomei in which Dark Arms had came out from the door and had sucked him down into the basement, Ruby didn't think much on it. To be fair, this is what he deserved, in a sense Ruby didn't think too much on it. However looking over Telrenya had looked like she was messing with something and got herself in a sticky situation as well and got separated from her as well, Ruby had got a little angry and slammed a bookcase to the ground, books flew across the ground as she had exclaimed out "Damn it!" she had then looked around for the next best course of action, of course her main objective is to get Telrenya and have the both of them escape without harm, however god who knows where the girl might be now. Ruby had opened the door that Tel had opened and saw that the location wasn't the same as which she had entered. She had rolled her eyes and slammed the door shut. She then sat down on top of the fallen bookcase and placed her fists on her cheeks contemplating what the hell she should even do.

Spencer was busy searching through the desk, but he heard a subtle click of the chandelier locking into place. Spencer looked up in confusion, but the chandelier was about to fall. He gasped and pushed his chair back, falling back against the floor, his head hitting it hard. The chandelier crashed down on to the floor and shattered into 100's of pieces, glass flying every where and making loud crashing noises, followed by soft tinkling of glass and metal rolling around on the hard wood floor. Spencer gasped for breath, his head feeling light headed, and his vision blurred from the adrenaline and the hard hit to his head. After a while, his breathing and vision came back to normal. He gave a sigh of relief and slowly stood up, a bit wobbly but okay. "Everything, in this house, is trying to crush m-" He froze when he heard a loud crash come from the floor below him, and sounds of struggle coming from across the hall. "Huh..." HE muttered and left the Study, walking towards the door to the master bedroom, but he didn't open it yet. What if it is a trap... but what if there is someone actually in there.. God this is horrible.

The torch created a circle around Jomei, illuminating everything within a few feet of his person. Along the brick walls, there were crates and barrels stacked almost to the ceiling. Just what was being encased in the basement of this house, Jomei did not want to know. His eyes were fixated a slightly larger spider that sat in its web on the wall above Jomei, taking his focus off of his surroundings. The man's shoulder bumped into a tower of crates, causing them to wobble before falling in his direction. The man quickly dove out of the way, letting the wooden crates crash into the ground.

Unexpected to the man, the crates contained no items of interest; mostly junk and papers. A sigh of relief escaped his lips as he grabbed onto the torch yet again. However, as he did so, he noticed the items that had fallen from the crates just outside of the light's tough were disappearing, almost as if being covered by a black smog. This was not regular darkness surrounding him.. it was whatever had dragged him down here. His skin began to crawl, realizing that he was surrounded by these shadow creatures. The man rose to his feet and quickly began to search the rest of the basement, finding a ladder that led to a small crawlspace above him. Dropping the torch to the ground, Jomei grabbed onto the ladder and quickly climbed upwards, the small shadow hands grabbing at him from the side as he ascended into the small space.

Not sure where this small tunnel would lead to, Jomei began to crawl, the dust from the unused space dirtying his green attire. "Where the hell does this lead?" he thought to himself. He felt the part of the ceiling he was crawling across was slightly weaker, possibly able to be moved. Feeling around, he was able to grab onto the panel of the ceiling and move it to the side, revealing he was now above the hallway he started in. The man let himself fall to the ground, coughing and brushing the dust off of his clothes. He saw that the hallway was in a bit of disarray, a bookshelf was knocked over, its contents scattered around. On the downed bookshelf sat Ruby, her hands on her face, sitting alone. "Oh Ruby.. good to see you're still safe.." though, he did not spot Telrenya. "W..Wheres Tel..?" the man's voice became heavy with worry as his heart dropped into his stomach, trying not to think of the worst case scenario..

Telrenya took a couple of hesitant steps to back away from the rushing water, her shoes making tiny splashing sounds against the wet tiles. 'Why isn't it stopping...?' She thought with building apprehension. As the water began to pool and climbed up to her ankles--much more quickly than she would have thought possible with the size of the room--Telrenya turned back to the door, trying at the handle and pounding her fist against it once again. "Ruby! Are you out there?" She called. "Jomei!?" Her voice was desperate as the flood grew impossibly fast, crawling up her legs.

With the water quickly reaching waist-level, the woman backed away before running her shoulder into the door. It hardly budged, and after a second try Telrenya's vision blurred with tears brimming. "Oh God, how... How do I get out of here?" She asked herself between small breaths. Her hope was fading, and what few ounces of courage she had scrounged up were crumbling. "I... I still have to find him..." She sniffled, trying to rub at her eyes with already wet hands. She looked around the room, trying to sift past the various objects--soap, towels, and other toiletries--that floated on the water's surface. Where hadn't she looked, and was there anything that stuck out? No windows, no vents... After a moment of composure, Telrenya took a desperate breath, lowering herself into the water to search for something, anything that might lead to a way out.

Ruby had thought for a while, she's unaware of what to do... she eventually had gotten frustrated and thought maybe its best to just wait till something or someone comes her way. Eventually as time had passed she had seen a door open and out comes Jomei, Ruby had rolled her eyes and thought to herself "Greeeeaaat...". Eventually Jomei had mentioned out how it was good to see her safe and where Tel was. Ruby had gained an angered look and said out to him in disgust "Why? So you can force upon a decision for her to make? To take advantage of her because you feel obligated to because you helped her with items and with stats? You player killers are all the same." she had looked back forward. "If you are reaaaally wanting to know she entered that door and before I could do anything it closed shut, and reopening the door will lead somewhere else now. I have no idea where she is. You twisted thoughts will have to be on hold for now. What a shame." she said shaking her head.

@Jomei

Spencer slowly enters the master bedroom, his feet starting to soak as he took a few steps in to the room. "What the hell." He looks down and touches the floor, his hand now wet from the water. He looked around and heard struggling, and groaning of wood under a lot of pressure. He looked around to find the source, but all he could find was a cabinet that was making water. "Okay, that's definitely not normal." He mumbled and touched the cabinet, the wood soaking with water. He shook his hand off the water and looked behind it, seeing a door that was starting to crack from the water. In there, he could hear desperate attempts to break free, which caused Spencer to freak out and start pushing at the cabinet. "Move it you Cheap piece of Spruce!" He groaned and toppled the cabinet down on to the ground. His hands gripped the bras doorknob. What if this is a trap. He shook his head, if someone was trapped in there he was going to help them, whether they are a player killer or not. He yanked on the door knob, nothing happened. His heart started to beat faster and he yanked again, nothing happening again. "Damn it!" He gasped and yanked harder, and the door swung open. A floor of water, object, and even a rubber ducky flowed past him quickly, the pressure in the room too much for the room to hold. At the bottom of the water was a girl laying in the water. "Are you okay?!" He  knelt down by her.

Despite Ruby telling Jomei just what had happened to Telrenya, that did not cross his mind at the moment. The blonde in front of him had just accused Jomei of trying to take advantage of the two, of Jomei being a player killer. "A player killer?" Jomei said, confused. "You think I'm some sort of player killer?!" Jomei voice raised a bit, obviously angry at the false assumption. "I made a God damned joke earlier, and you take it to heart and think I want to murder you both?!" He took a step towards Ruby, his pupils seemed smaller, and his brow wrinkled above the bridge of his nose. "How dare you even think that of me, when all I've thought was the best intentions for the two of you! What would taking advantage of either of you even do to help me in the long run?" The man felt angry, angrier than he had felt in awhile. Not only because Ruby was thinking such a thing of him, but it brought back the sick memory in his mind. The memory of his sword driving through the chest of a PKer. Tears welled up in his eyes as he tried to fight off the image, shaking his head, he turned away from Ruby. His voice had lowered, still a tint of rage behind it, but not shouting. "All I've wanted to do is help you.. both of you. Ruby, I just see so much in you. Really making a difference on the front lines, and as my friend." he turned to point at the door Ruby said Telrenya had vanished through, "And Tel, I care about her deeply.. Which is something I have not felt in a long time.." He grit his teeth and stared down at the ground. "So if you want to keep thinking that way of me, fine.. We will find a way out of here, and I'll never bother you again." he looked up at Ruby, his eyes still glossy from the tears, but full of trust as she looked right into her's, "But first we need to get out of here, to save Telrenya. And we can't do that without each other's help. And.. I'm sorry. I took the teasing too far.. You can trust me, just like I trust you."

Jomei's eyes went off of Ruby's when he noticed that Telrenya's health was dropping slowly. His eyes went wide as fear hit him. "Ruby please, you need to trust me. Look, Tel's in trouble. We need to find her together." he shook his head and looked back at her, "Lets just get out of this mansion, if you want to cut me out of your life after that, then thats up to you.. But right now we need to work together to find Telrenya and get out of here." The man heard the sound of sudden rushing water. Immediately after, he threw open the other door on the wall, which led to a spiral staircase going upwards. "Come on!" he shouted at Ruby to snap her into the reality that their friend was in trouble. Whether she was coming or not, Jomei shot up the stairs as quickly as he could.

Nothing. She had searched the entirety of the room and couldn't find so much as a key, or drain, or even a way to just make the water stop. Her feet no longer reached the floor as she surfaced for air. Seconds later, she was dangerously close to the ceiling. Less than another minute later, the system alerted Telrenya to her health bar as it slowly began to drain. Panicked and terrified, the woman wrenched her eyes shut.

Feeling her weight pressed against the sopping carpet that lined the Master Bedroom's floor, Telrenya tried to inhale before the presence of water in her windpipe sent her into a small fit of coughing. Propping herself up on her elbows, the woman was finally able to breathe after a few moments, and she managed to register the presence of another beside her. Expecting to see Ruby's lively, garnet-pink eyes or Jomei's wild, bright orange hair, she felt a split second of shock at the sight of the stranger kneeling beside her. Once she registered the boy's own shocked and concerned expression, she allowed herself to lower her guard--after all, she was in no mental state to perceive the player as another threat. Her eyes drifted up to glance at her HUD, quickly seeing that her health was in the yellow. It looks like it had stopped at the half-way point, but the fact that she could have very well died in that room sent a shiver down her spine. A brief moment of relief washed over her shortly after when she saw the two names in her party menu and their unharmed health bars.

Twisting her body to see the door to the bathroom wide open and the fallen cabinet beside it, she fully realized the majority of what happened. The sound of rushing water had ceased, likely meaning that the 'trap' was stopped when the door had been open. Finally turning her attention back to the player beside her, Telrenya let out a weak "Th-thank you..." She sat herself up, trying to ignore the discomfort from being left soaking wet, and faced herself toward Spencer. "Are you...stuck in here too?" Through her shaky voice, she couldn't help the tone of suspicion, with all the things putting her on edge in here. "My friend, um... He got a message about winning a mansion, so we came out here to find it." She tried to offer a brief explanation. "We got separated, so..."

Ruby had listened to Jomei's words, and while she did suspect that it had just been a joke... it wasn't one that she wanted to hear, after his speech she had stood up aggressively from the bookcase she had been sitting on and grabbed him by his shirt and pulled him closer to his face "I've been in a group of player killers without me knowing before, they gave me experience in the game, they gave me items... and they had felt like they were obligated to get something back. At first it was sex, which I wouldn't give any asshole even if my life was on the line. Then it was give up everything I owned or I would die. Do you still think its a great idea to joke about being a player killer, not just in front of me, but in general. Theres players out there so green the thought of removing a single hit point from another is enough to scare the hell out of them." she had basically wanted to cry however she shook off her thoughts and looked at him "You're a handsome man Jomei, and I trust you. But if you ever remove a single hit point from that girl I will have your ass hung by a noose the next morning. Got me?" she had let go of him and said to him as she had noticed Tel's HP dropping point by point "I trust you, Jomei we must hurry. Go." she then followed right behind Jomei in this hell of a place.

Spencer sighed audibly when he heard the woman begin to breathe and move, her body moving a bit. He saw the woman register him as a stranger, but also calm down and not attack him. At least she didn't attack me, even at half health she could probably kill me fairly easily. He thought grimly to himself before sitting back on his feet and looked at her. She asked him if  he was stuck in here as well and he nodded grimly "Yes, I found this mansion while I was exploring the wilderness and lets just say there has been quite a few near death experiences in this mansion." He sighed and stood up, offering a hand to the woman on the ground. "I have no idea what you mean by your friend winning a mansion, all I know is that I thought I was alone, trapped in this mansion for about a half an hour, then I found you stuck in a bathroom." He almost laughed and the craziness of the phrase he just said. "Are your friends okay? I haven't seen any of them yet, but I've been trapped up here after almost getting killed in the dinning room." He shook his head and looked around the room, nothing of interest was in here except for the hidden bathroom and the soaked papers all around the two. "Shall we go find your friends? Would be good to see the other people you were with and to get a bearing of what is going on." He looked down at his feet and picked up what seemed to be a rubber ducky. He chuckled and put it in his pocket, a souvenir for what is going on today.

Ruby grabbed hold of Jomei, revealing just where her distrust of player killers came from. Her story explained just why she had no gear at the level she was at, why she struggled the way she did. Jomei looked Ruby in the eyes, “You don’t think I’ve seen what those monsters do?” Jomei gently took Ruby’s wrist, releasing himself from her grasp. “I had to rescue two of my best friends from an entire guild of them while they all tried to kill me and our other friend.” His voice began to get louder. “I watched as two of my closest friends were cut down, right in front of my eyes, by a woman who I thought I once loved.” Tears began to well up in his eyes once again, “I sat in a cold cell for six long months, all of my gear stripped off of my body, and tortured with death..day after day ny a group of player killers. You think I don’t know what they’re capable of?!” By now, tears were streaming down his cheeks. “And you know what! I considered myself a player killer for awhile when I cut down another player killer who wanted to bring harm to me and my friends!....And.. I’d do it again if Tel, or you, or anyone I care about were in danger. But I would NEVER hurt an innocent person..” his voice lowered again. “So yes. That joke was uncalled for.. but it was my own way of trying to cope with that sick..sick..memory.... so I’m truly sorry.”

After he had said his piece, and Ruby admitted to trusting him, the two ran up the stairs to find where Telrenya was. By now, her health bar had stabalized and was no longer dropping. Though most of the panic was gone, they still needed to find her, and just what might have caused her to almost die.

The two found themselves in a long hallway, doors on either side. The door to Jomei’s right was barred over.  He hoped that she was not behind there, however it was when he noticed a slight shimmer from under one of the doors down the hallway did he decide to investigate. He knelt down and pressed his fingers into the moisture. “Its water, maybe she’s in there.” Jomei tried the doorknob, no luck. “[censored], of course” he said, sounding defeated. “We need to find another way in there..”

Telrenya's lightly-trembling hand accepted Spencer's offer to help pull her back to her feet. After listening to Spencer's own recollection, the woman gave a small shake of her head. "I don't know either. He thought it seemed suspicious, but it was a system message, so we thought it might just be a quest or something." She took in a deep breath to try and steady her nerves. "Oh, I'm Telrenya, by the way." Despite the circumstances, the woman still placed her right hand over her heart and offered the man a small bow. "I'm in a party with my friends, it looks like they're alright. There's Ruby," The woman held a hand above her head to estimate how tall Ruby stood compared to herself. "She has long blonde hair with a green streak. And Jomei," She raised her arm higher for the taller man, "he has orange hair and a slight accent." In the event that they were separated, she hoped that her brief descriptions would be enough in case the sandy-haired player ran into either of her friends.

She nodded at Spencer's suggestion of finding the other players. "We were in the main entrance..." She spoke slowly, starting to recall everything that had happened. "The front door disappeared, and then Jomei was--" She faltered as the memory of Jomei being dragged away by the shadowy limbs was still fresh in her mind. "Jomei was pulled down a staircase... I opened one of the doors downstairs, but it led into this bathroom..." Her finger naturally extended towards the other room as she spoke, brows furrowed slightly as she tried to comprehend the weirdness of the mansion. "I have no idea where Ruby is, or what happened to the door I used downstairs." The more she explained, the less she understood.

Just as the two seemed to have formed an alliance, Telrenya froze when she heard a sound from behind her. The knob to the bedroom's door rattled as if someone was trying to open it from the other side. The woman turned, wary, until a faint sound reached her ears. "Jomei?" She whispered before hurrying to the door. "Jomei, is that you?" She reached for the door's handle, but her hand froze in fear of what the mansion might have in store if she were to open it.

Ruby had gotten very upset hearing Jomei's story, she had felt extremely horrible in herself for letting something like this getting to her like that. Ruby didn't waste any time she shook her tears away and gave Jomei a hug. "I'm so sorry..." she cried out for a moment, she let her own thoughts get to the best of her and for a moment she had felt extremely bad about herself for doing this. Eventually she did eventually let go when noticing Telrenya's HP steadily dropping and dropping. Once they had made their way up the stairs it had felt a little moist... Ruby had looked very confused having an upstairs area had water being spilled out... like if the house was trying to flood us all in. However Jomei had tested the door knob and it wouldnt open. As soon as Ruby had gotten an idea Telrenya's voice could be heard from behind the door. Ruby had her hands charged up and she had exclaimed out to her "Might want to back up Telly baby.". Once she had heard the woman move she would then let out her Sword Art: All Might on the door knocking it open using sheer force.

"Oh sorry, I'm Spencer. If you saw an arrow dug into the wall it was because of me triggering a trap in the dinning room. Also the reason why you probably can't, or don't want to go into the dinning room was because of me, the ceiling almost crushed me. I'm also the person who almost got crushed by a falling Chandelier." He paused and sighed. "Its been a rough day and I'm just ready to get out of here." He laughed and listened to her descriptions of the two people. "Okay Tall blonde girl Ruby, taller orange accent man Jomei." He muttered to himself and jumped, the door knob jiggling and noises coming from outside the room. The girl, he came to know as Telrenya, bent down and started to whispering, probably recognizing the voices from the other side of the door. "Thank god, they're fine and out of what ever hell hole they got dragged into." He thought for a moment, what the girl said about being dragged into the basement registering in his mind. "Wait, he got dragged into the basement? I've been alone, other than you guys, this entire time.... Don't tell me there is some sort of boss in this house, I'm too low of a level to deal with that right now." He sighed, but heard another woman's voice talk through the door, it said something about moving from the door. He backed up a little while the woman also backed up a little, not wanting to get hit.

When Jomei heard Telrenya's voice calling his name from the other side of the door, all of the tension that had built up in his face disappeared, his temple gently pressing up against the wooden door between them. "Yeah its us, the damn door is locked." Jomei turned his head and looked at Ruby, "Tel's in there.. We need to find a way through."  The man looked up and down the hall, even checked the ceiling for some sort of entrance. Was there a window that they could use to get into the room? Jomei looked at the door before shaking his head, "I've about had it with this house." Adjusting the gloves on his hands and cracking his knuckles, Jomei prepared himself to knock in the door using his low Martial Arts skill. However, before he could even prep himself fully, Ruby stepped past him and told Telrenya to back away from the door. "...right.. you're the martial artist.. Probably better if you do it." he said with a bashful chuckle.

With an impressive display of her sheer strength, the door was blown off the hinges and cracked in three as it pummeled into the wall on the opposite side. Once Jomei was able to see inside the room, which he now identified as the master bedroom, he saw Telrenya standing there. Jomei stepped past Ruby into the room, and immediately stepped up to Telrenya, placing his hands on her shoulders before pulling her into his chest in an embrace. "Thank God you're okay.." he simply said to her, when he opened his eyes, he saw another player in the room. A young looking man with sandy colored hair, who was looking just as confused about the situation as the rest of them. "Oh.. I didn't know there was anyone else in this mansion." He released Telrenya from his arms and stepped up to meet the other man. "I'm sorry you somehow got caught in all of this, have you run into any troubles here?" Jomei took one look at the man's expression after asking, before rubbing the nape of his neck, already knowing his answer, "Actually.. I think I know the answer to that..." he chuckled. "Well.. at least we are all back together again.. Now comes the fun part of figuring what the hell we have to do to get out.. Any ideas?"

"Ru--" Telrenya was about to exclaim the woman's name as she heard the healer's voice through the door. Ruby's choice of words, however, silenced her, and mixed with the tone of her voice made Telrenya realized what she was going to do. She hurriedly stepped back from the door, giving a short glance over to Spencer before the door was flung open. It couldn't even hold onto its hinges with the power of the woman's blow, and on the other side of the doorframe stood her two companions.

Though they were only apart a short time, the woman's emotions flared up, and she felt the heat of fresh tears threatenting to spill over. Before she could rush forward herself, Jomei placed himself in front of her and pulled her in close. After a brief moment of surprise at his embrace, the woman reciprocated, wrapping her arms around the man and squeezing tightly. She couldn't help but sniffle as she gave up on holding back her tears. "I'm so glad you guys are okay!" She choked out inreturn, her voice muffled and shaky. Once she had broken away from the Irishman, Telrenya's bottom lip quivered as she looked to the other blonde with misty eyes. Wordlessly, she walked over to the healer, opening her arms again to wrap them tightly around Ruby as she quietly sobbed against the woman's shoulder. Her still-drenched clothes and body had pressed against either of them, transferring some of the moisture that had coated herself onto her companions. "Oh, s-sorry..." She said meekly after she pulled away, a small smile decorating her features despite the tears.

She tried to quickly compose herself after the emotional reunion, turning back to the sandy-haired man once again now that Jomei had taken interest in the player. "Oh, this is Spencer." After wiping at her eyes with the back of one hand, she held up the other to introduce them. "He helped me after I got separated from Ruby. It sounds like he got trapped in here before we even showed up." She explained.

After knocking the door out of its hinges, before Ruby could even make sure that Telrenya was even safe Jomei had stepped in and gave her a hug. Ruby had moved her hand to her hip and said "Alright alright wheres my hug? I'm the one that wasted 15 of my energy hitting the door." she had let out a chuckle, eventually Jomei would eventually stop hugging her and Telrenya had walked over to Ruby and gave her a hug and cried into her shoulder. "Aw.." she let out as she had wrapped her arms around Telly and rubbed her back a bit. She had felt that she was entirely wet and it was starting to feel cold and weird to Ruby as she had moved Telrenya in front of her while still holding her "What happened to you Telly? Before you started touching things you were dry as a bone, now you look like you were put through a washing machine. Well... im just glad you are safe at least." she gave Telrenya a kiss on the forehead before she had stepped away to introduce her and Jomei to a man named Spencer, she had gained a little bit of a awkward look and said "So... what has gotten you to walk into a spooky mansion all on your own?"

Spencer saw the two people hug and comfort Tel, kind of wishing he had that same thing going for him. Oh get over yourself Spencer, this woman almost drowned to death, I think I should just worry about her and not my own issues. He sighed quietly and saw the two look at him and talk about him being in this mansion also, getting wrapped into this huge mess. He nodded and chuckled with Jomei, the way he was acting kind of showed that he was put through the wringer just like the rest of them. "Yeah. I was just exploring this floor and found the mansion. I decided to check it out, then the door slammed shut on me and wouldn't let me out. Then the ceiling decided to try to crush me.." He trailed off, "It doesn't matter all the [censored] that's happened, all I know is that I really want to get out of here in one piece." He sighed and looked around the house. "I'm trying to put a mental map of this place, I know that the Dining Room isn't safe, and the study isn't that safe, neither is this bathroom," He gestured to the room next to the group, "And you said that you got dragged into the basement, and that Telrenya was in the Ballroom and got warped into the bathroom, so far no where is safe except the stairs, hallways, and the main foyer, oh and the living room, but that is a dead end." He stopped talking, all the information he collected was just that.
