"Yeah, she definitely does." Jomei recalled the first time Adere and Telrenya had met.. the owl landing upon her shoulder unannounced, the discomfort in her face clearly apparent. Now, months later, Telrenya had really warmed up to the owl, which made Jomei incredibly happy, which showed by the wide grin that formed on his lips. It was then that Jomei's eyes trailed down to the white mug of hot chocolate Telrenya was holding out to Jomei, "Oh, thank you love." he said with a chuckle, taking the warm cup in his hands. Off to the side of the couple, Jomei heard a quick shattering noise. Olive eyes shooting to the side, he saw Ruby had dropped her glass, which thanks to Cardinal, did not actually spill but just materialized, staring in disbelief at her menus. "W-wha?" Jomei questioned, brows lowered, before Ruby finally spoke up that it was her birthday. The knot that had formed in Jomei's stomach, worrying about just what Ruby had been looking at, had disappeared, a smile replacing it. After Jevi gave the girl a large hug, Jomei laughed, "Well then, I think since we finished with exchanging gifts and all, lets take the rest of the night to celebrate Ruby's birthday.
