[OP - F1] Tired of Playing 'Nice' COMPLETE

Recommended Posts

He drew his sword against Kazuya's wishes. "You really should stop. Your insults are just giving me more of a foothold. Now why don't you open open, nice and wide?" He took a step closer, around L. "I've told you he was the only thing holding me back. I will say that his resolve was quite formidable, but alas, it still has its weak points. It seems people throwing things at him was one of them." He grabbed the girl's arm to stop her from running. "I guess since I'm about to remove your ability to speak I'll tell you a bit about Kazuya. First of all, he was born, a small child with a seemingly harmless eye condition. It was later discovered when he was older that this eye condition wasn't the problem. It was me. He other kids found out about this so called demon that lived inside a kid and tried 'slaying' him. Of course, I wouldn't allow that, so I put most of his class in intensive care. Later the kids wouldn't approach him. Instead they just threw objects, pretty much whatever they could get their hands on, at him. He often came home with blood all over him, both his and others. He didn't have any control over this, but he was always the one punished. It is very important for a king to learn to take responsibility for his citizens, yes? Well, eventually he became stronger, and I couldn't help him as much. He started resisting me, so I fought harder and hurt more people who got in his way. That is all you need to know." The lengthy story had cake to a stop, though it wasn't the end. Hellfyre raised Kazuya's arm, about to bring it down, when he lost his grip on the blade. The sword fell down. 'I'm not a monster. You are Hell. Now stop this!' A small sliver of blue appeared in the center of his iris.

L watched Kazuya carefully, he seemed to be on the brink of losing control but there was still hope. He raised an eyebrow at his descriptions "Kazuya, are you really going to let this get the better of you? I thought you were better than that. If you're going to go nuts and kill this woman you won't be hearing from me or guild ever again. Do you understand Kazuya? You won't even be able to see your wife." He examined him closely to see if his words would get through to him. He wasn't the best for cheering people up but he was perceptive and an idealist, he didn't want to see Kazuya throw his life away because of some moral elitist who took joy in the pain of other people. He hovered his hand over his blade just in case, he wasn't going to allow anyone to die around him nor stain the name of the Crimson Inquisition.

“I’ll do you one better, kid.” Mari retorted before sticking out her tongue toward him. It was a very juvenile action, but she didn’t care for him, nor his egotistical banter. King of Hell….what an absolute joke.  Mari groaned when she felt his calloused hand wrap around her arm, roughly pulling her closer. Great, this is the part where the bad guy goes into a deep monologue about their history, and why they are who they are today.

Kazuya started talking, yep. A Monologue. She rolled her eyes, changing her stance only when she noticed him raise his blade; she wouldn’t be able to avoid his attack – but it wasn’t exactly like he could cut out her tongue either. It was just tough talk. The strike would hurt, the pain would be excruciating no doubt, but a single strike wouldn’t be enough to kill her. He could do his worst, she would still be alive and kicking. Mari braced herself for a strike that never came. The blade faltered, and his grip loosened enough for the girl to shake her arm free.

“Well then.” Mari said as she dusted herself off, taking a step back she sighed.  Allowing the darker haired youth to take charge of the situation. He mentioned a guild, and a wife. Good information to know if she ever felt like pissing Kazuya off again.

He stepped back. The whole wife thing wasn't what pushed him to stop. It was the fact that he realized he wanted the woman to die. That appalling thought was what gave him the ability to stop the attack. He felt filthy having wished something so ill on someone he hadn't even tried to understand. He wasn't the kind of person to usually wish death upon a single soul. That was always Hellfyre. He had found his foothold to keep his other half at bay. He was frozen in place, but at least he could speak. He was not one to hold onto his pride when he knew he was in the wrong. "I apologize for that. I will take my leave now. L, I would appreciate it if you didn't tell anyone in he guild about this. They probably would take kindly to having someone like me as their Crimson Tactician." He regained control over his motary functions and turned his coat like he was about to head to the forest, but still had something to say. "Girl, I think it would just be better to forget about our whole meeting today. Who really needs to hold onto such things. Insults are such trivial matters anyways. And again, I apologize." He took one more step before noticing that Ether was still watching. 'Not another witness.'

Yuji is on his way to the inn when he hear some racket. He try to find the source and what he found there are two people fighting with each other; a pink girl and a man clad in golden armor. Another man that seems to be the friend of that gold guy is trying to calm him down.

"This is certainly interesting. I wonder what will happen next."

(OOC sorry I've been asleep until now xD the annoyances of being in the UK)

Warning lights lit up all over Ethereal's head as the enraged Kazuya drew his sword without real reason. He knew something big was about to happen - and it wouldn't be good. He strode over, his black jagged armour glinting in the sun and his long, deep brown hair dancing in the breeze. He stopped before the small group of players, he knew Kazuya, had never met Life and certainly not the pink lady.

Without saying a word - for he had heard the entire exchange - he looked with his piercing blue eyes in turn at both Kazuya and the lady. "I think we should all scram now before we make a scene. I'm the highest level player here so.." it wasn't his usual way of doing things but this had to be broken up before more people saw the exchange.

L placed his hand on Kazuyas shoulder "Don't stress too much about it, i would have apreciated knowing this about you sooner though. I'll spare you our Rahouls wrath, this never happened today" L glared at the man he'd never seen before with pity "Don't you start now. Im sick of everyone putting on the tough guy act. It's pathetic. We're leaving anyway. Oh and pink lady, i apologize for my underlings incompetence to handle his emotions, it's something i'll look into" He bowed and with that he turned away nudging Kazuya to walk with him, it was easy to tell his patience was wearing thin by the darkening of his amber eyes.

Mari shrugged, “Don’t apologize, honey. Geez. What a flip flop of a personality ya got there.” Mari retorted, already growing restless from the situation. He asked her to forget about their meeting today, to which Mari shrugged in reply; “What, who am I going to tell?” She gestured around her, “All my friends you see here? Please.” It was Mari’s way of saying that sure, she wouldn’t bother repeating the actions seen today, unless of course she was offered a significant trade. Information would never come for  free, but, Kazuya didn’t need to know that.

Mari learnt another name today, the black haired youth, who also appeared to  be Kazuya’s superior was named L. Wow. Short.  It had to be a nick name or something. The whole little scuffle was more or less finished. But then, another man clad in armour made himself known. Adorned in black, jutting armour it looked as though he had fallen into, or out of a thorn bush.

Acting all high and mighty, and throwing his weight around. The man used a threatening tone. Demanding them all to ‘scram’

“Oh for christs sake!” Mari exclaimed, throwing her arms down, “What the hell is it with every single person getting all up in each others faces and threatening each other with so much violence and death. Is that really how you all act in reality? Throwing your weight around threatening to kill people?”

She turned to the newcomer, pointing toward Kazuya, “First, mister woe is me over here goes mental over some trival matter, and now-“ She turned her finger toward him. “And now you, with your weird ass armour come on in boasting about your level. How do you know what levels we all are? That’s a pretty hefty assumption.”

Mari pressed her hands to her head, baffled at it all. “This is giving me a headache. We were literally done, about to go our separate ways-the end, then you storm on in like you’re king of the freakin’ hill. Did you really have to stick your beaky little nose into this?”

Mari didn’t exactly address ‘L’ as she didn’t have a problem with him, he more or less kept to himself, and didn’t throw himself around. But this new guy? Oh boy.

Today was not a good day for Mari.

"Whoa,now that is something.."
"That pink girl is so hot headed...."

Yuji watch them intensely as the girl screaming out words. The arrival of the black armored guy seems to irritate the girl. Yuji try to get closer to hear what are they saying, but he don't want to get involve in it too much.

"If worse come to worse, I'll just go talk to them. For now I'll wait... That friend of gold guy can handle can handle it."

"Look, lady. I really don't care what you have to say. All I'm doing here is trying to make you guys leave as quick as possible, so we don't make a scene." Ethereal said calmly, turning his back to the pink and facing his fellow guild members. "Sir, I think it'd be best if we all dispersed now, we don't want to soil the name of the Inquisition."

L turned back at another one of his underlings, this one more respected but also less known to him "Indeed, it looks as though it might have already been stained, we weren't named the largest and most powerful guild to squabble over pebbles and i wasn't named the Reddo-Ippan to babysit you all. Hopefully this run in can be forgotten.. now i suggest you also make your exit. This is tiresome" L was done with the whole thing but he gave the woman one last glance before leaving. He wanted to remember her face for future reference, he felt as though he would definitely be seeing her again in the future.

((Feel free to call this roleplay complete whenever you're ready))

"Ah,looks like they are done."
"As I thought, that guy can handle it. He really is something. So people call him the Reddo-Ippan huh..."

Yuji turn around and walk back to the inn. His head is now full of the scene earlier.

"I definitely won't forget those people."

The deceivably young looking girl grimaced, “If ya’ll wanted us to disperse you could have done it without the threats; I am beginning to think this whole…guild of inquisition is just filled with big ol’ macho men who got nothing better to do other than throw their own weight around.”

Mari watched as the three took their leave, L – the one who appeared to be either their leader or at least their superior gave one last look back over his shoulder, Mari raised a questioning eyebrow at them before turning back the other way.

She had enough of people for today; perhaps it’d be best to retire to her dingy Inn room and eat bread. Rest up, calm down. For tomorrow, she’d have to go back to her sweet and innocent theatrics.
