[OP - F2] War ... War never changes

Sousuke had been away for quite some time out of the way from friends and other players alike he had seen the effects that this place had on the minds of people tapped just like him in what he saw a just another prisoner of war camp. To him this game was just like any war he had had he unfortunate pleasure to be involved in, this war being between the players and the game master and war ... war never changes. In war innocent and guilty people alike will always die its an indisputable fact. The thing that can be avoided however is the numbers of those casualties. It was strange entering the city of Urbarus after his few weeks away from civilisation. He had needed a break to think things over and all he saw was a war that was beginning to drag on for much to long. They should have been out of here a long time ago, how long ago though was something he couldn't tell. He knew time had passed since they had become trapped here but how long was lost to him. HE looked up from his seat by the fountain and saw a player that caught his eye and he watched them curiously wondering what their intentions were.

Arekkusu stood up high on the plains, keeping his distance away from everyone. He knew that to be caught up there would require heavy amounts of attention. Say that attention was given, he had a headstart in the distance, and his level made it almost impossible to catch him. He could be a prankster if he tried his hardest, but instead, he chose to play the game seriously. Watching parties come and go... It was his life, and he can't say it was the best.

Destiny looked at the two.  She wsas a bit sad, longing for something more, something that she yearned for but refused to speak of.  "Well....I guess I might as well as go and say hello..."  she said to herself.  Destiny wasn't one to start informing others abut her desires or even about her worries.  Destiny wiped a single tear from her eye and started to sprint.  Destiny dove at her youngest cousin.  She tackled him from behind.  "Hey Sousuke!" she said cheerfully with a big smile.

Pyro was currently in one of her "phases". She tugged on the arms of  random players who would yank or push her away. Her mouth was pulled into a never-ending frown and she rubbed her tired eyes for the hundredth time. Pyro giggled when another person pushed her to the ground and she waved at them while they walked away. "I'll be there... there when you're on your deathbed!" She yelled back and stuck her tongue out. Pyro slowly got up and the tick in her neck increased when her crimson eyes caught two familar faces. 'S-S-S-Sousuke and D-Destiny! Beautiful...' A toothy, insane, unsettling smile made its way onto her face. The skin around her mouth burned and she started to half-walk, half-stumble towards the two. When she got in front of them she was already on her hands and knees. The smile still on her face. She looked up and her shoulders started to shake due to laughter. "H-Hey guys. Lo-ong time no see, eh?"

"Pyro!"  Destiny jumped off of Sousuke's back to bear hug/tackle Pyro.  It had been far too long since she had seen Pyro.  It was since the time that she dove behind a bar and Pyro had a mug on her head that she had seen the young lady.  "How have you been?!"  Destiny squeezed her and then let go to look at her face. "I've missed you so much!" She squeezed her again and then let her go.  This patterened continued until Destiny ran out of things to say at Pyro or question her.  Destiny finally let her go.  Destiny held her hands together as she waited for Pyro's response.  Her right index finger rubbing the red ribbon on her wrist.  She was thinking about someone.

Arekkusu looked back to see three familiar faces. The mpe incident, and he really didn't feel like going through that trouble. He his in a darker area to make sure none of them saw him. This was where the Sneak and Hide technique came in. He could escape if he could just walk by them, then run as fast as possible. Dan really messed with his mind, making him think that no one can be trusted, but he had his doubt's. Still, he wasn't going to play Russian Roulette yet, not until he has all the information.

Sousuke was utterly confused at the events that transpired the player he was observing turned out to be pyro whom judging by the way she was acting had been effected incredibly by some sort of event or another driving her to near insanity. He frowned for a moment and watched as she stumbled around shouting random things at passers by.  He was about to get up and see if his friend was ok when some one tackled him from behind. He cursed himself for leaving himself exposed when he recognized the voice of the person who jumped him. ''Diana hey, its been a while huh?'' he said as he saw pyro approaching. Destiny then proceeded to tackle Pyro to ground and interrogate her talking about mugs or something which he recognized was from the day he went on his first date with Manta. He then felt a presence not unlike his own despite the fact the person was using the sneak skill he could easily tell who it was and where they were, knowing it was his old mentor and how he worked he looked to a shadowy spot just across from where the three were fooling around. ''Arek I know your over there come here and say hi!'' he called laughing to himself. He knew all to well how Arek worked and it his teachings that taught him the way he worked the difference was Arek had the stealth skill where as he didn't.

Pyro hummed and closed her eyes contently as Destiny held her. She smiled lazily and nodded her head up and down. "Y-Yeah too long. I missed you and Manta r-real bad, ya know?" Her neck ticked again and she used one hand to rub the back of it in pain. She took the other hand and peered down at the bow Destiny played with, touching it gently. "What's this?" Pyro tilted her head in confused and got on her knees comfortably. She kept her hand rested on Destiny's ribbon and put the other in her lap.

 

She made sure to nod over at Sousuke so he knew she realized he was there. Her head perked up at the sound of Arekkusu's name but Pyro kept her focus on Destiny as she awaited an answer.

Arekkusu was then revealed into the light, the negative effect of getting caught. Arekkusu looked embarrassed about his attempt at escape to be thwarted so easily. His face was red, such an easy catch, this was so shameful.

"Son of a-" Arekkusu said to Sousuke until he stopped himself. Yelling wasn't going to make stealth any easier. He was with 3 of his friends. Arekkusu crossed his arms in annoyance and closed his eyes, his head tilted to the ground. "Damn it Sousuke. Where the hell were you for all these days, you had us worried sick. Aunt Destiny, nice to see you again, Pyro, its also nice to see you. I need to thank you for helping me with... The incident. I'm getting a lot better, as for you?"

Claim was laying in the some thick brush as he turned around hearing some familiar voices his eyes were there normal green color as he titled his head a bit he could some what hear what they were all saying hopefully they couldn't see him but then again it should be that hard to spot him seeing as his silver hair stands out like a sore thumb. He laid there till some one noticed him. or till he had the energy to move him self. He did have his normal armor on in stead he had on the Black under armor on and a pair of baggy pants. he did have any shoes on see as he was napping before hand.

Sousuke looked at his friends and decided it was time to come clean about his location the past few weeks. "I've been on a pilgrimage through the mountains on the seventh floor to test my self and clear my mind." He explained. After the MPEG he needed time to think and get back into things so he went on a treacherous journey through the bad lands of the floors above. He had a feeling he was being but couldn't locate the culprit.

Destiny nodded at Pyro when she mentioned missing Manta as well.  In fact Destiny missed the both of them, it seemed that the three of them got along splendidly and it was quite some time that Destiny had seen Manta as well.  Destiny then heard Pyro mention something about the ribbon that she had been gently rubbing.  "Oh!" she exclaimed with surprise,  "I-it's nothing really." Destiny was speaking in a high pitch, rather hesitant tone.  She wasn't sure what to say.  "Ummm~ look!"  Destiny exclaimed trying to bring the attention to something else other than her and her ribbon.  "It's...uh...Claim..."  Destiny hopped that this little maneuver would shrug off any notion of her previous actions.

Pyro raised an eyebrow skeptically a Destiny but rolled her eyes and ignored it. She looked over at Claim and waved with a bright smile on her face. She didn't know him very well but remebered he was one of the people Arekkusu had PMed and invited to help with the Dark Metal Player Eliminator fight, so she trusted him. "Hey Claim~" She yelled. "Nice hair, man!" Pyro stuck a thumb out at him. She then set it back down and remembered something, jumping in the process, turning towards the person she was going to speak to. "Oh. Arekkusu I'm... fine," She smirked. "it's good to hear you're alright. It was no problem really. Probably a good thing it ever happened in the first place." 

 

Upon hearing Sousuke's explanation she tapped her chin in thought before asking him a question. "You're okay, right?"

"Well we're all back together again... with the exception of a few." Arekkusu said with a bit of awkwardness in his tone. He knew that they slacked many people, so to say that they were all together, that was a huge mistake. But what was that going to do to him, makke him look bad as a person? He's burnt that little bridge down on his own already, how much worse can he possibly look? Then again, he has been trying to help new players again and better himself by doing so, maybe he wasn't such a bad person after all. Only time could tell. "So what do we do now?"

Sousuke smiled at Pyro when she expressed her concern to him. Sure he had been a little messed up after the MPE incident but now he cleared his head of any taint and began working on clearing up his mistakes he was now fine as fine can be. ''I am ok now Pyro yes i just needed a little time to face my own demons.'' He said to her as he scratched his scar which had now taken a slight redish glow which was not all that strange considering they were in game world and scars tended to glow when a persons avatar was in the extremes of a particular morality and considering Sousuke had to face his demons and do a few things he wasnt proud of he had become dark on the inside. It wasnt who he was however and so he was working on removing that taint as best he could.

When Destiny's nephew made the statement that they were all back together again, being that the group that fought the MPE, it sent a shiver down Destiny's spine. There was one person that she didn't want to see today, because it felt like everywhere she went she would just magically run into him. It was the person that she was tied to. Destiny stated making a hand motion to Arekkusu as if he should cut it off. But he continued to speak about how they were missing a few. Destiny immediately stopped her action and looked down. "Alright, stay calm... stay clam....." She thought to herself.

Destiny looked up to hear Pyro saying something to Sousuke. She wasn't entirely listening, however she heard Sousuke's response, "Demons.... what demons?" She asked Sousuke as she stepped closer to approach him. "What are you talking about, Sousuke?"

Claim over heard what the group was talking about as he finally got the energy to get up to his feet and walk over to the group. He nodded at them as he had a slight smiles on his face. he still didn't have his armor or sword equipped as he put his right hand on the back of his head and scratched it a few time he yawns a bit as he said " Hey ya'll." claim looked like he was still tired from not doing anything all day. He out his hands in his pockets as he looked at them. He bowed at pyro as this was the second time he had meet the girl. His gem green eyes glowed a bit as the other talked.
