Kosan

As Kosan was staying n the first city, not doing anything in particular, he was thinking about all the people he has not seen in such a long time. "Mari..Zelrius...Calrex...many others"He said to himself "What ever happened to those guys?" he continued, wondering. He never was a guy that would forget old people, but i guess, when he had enough with the game and decided to stay hidden in the shadows for the past 2 years, he just broke contact with everyone. Now, he was just laying on his back under a tree in the outskirts of the town. As time passed, he realized that from day it went to night, and that now, after a good few hours, it was almost dark. "Time to take a stroll in the town, look for a tavern i guess or a place to sleep" he said, as he got up, checking about how much col he has. Lately, his forge was not doing so great, laking both materials and costumers. It was probably because he went under the radar for a long time. As he started sprinting, not really looking where he was going, he bumped into someone.."Oh.. sorry" he said, to the familiar looking person, without giving it much thought, just awaiting the response of them. Truth be told, he could meet anyone now, but because of the time that passed, he might not even recognize them.

"if you don't mind, i will accompany you on the Cerberus Quest" Kosan said, as he did not mind doing more quests. he needed to level up and the quests were the fastest way to do it "Also, you look like you could use someone who is a bit more tanky. I see you put most of your points in the damage part, not in the defense part" he said jokingly, without any mean intent. As they were walking out, Mars noticed a big chest, in which there could be hidden some really valuable stuff "How did we miss this" he said jokingly , "I think we were blind by the combat". None the less, as Kosan went ahead and opened the big treasure chest, recieving a pop-up on his screen "You found a perfect unidentified armour !"  . 'Oh wow, arean't i lucky" he said as he clicked the pop-up away, telling Mars what else was in the trunk.

As Kosan saw Neopolitan get up, he got up as well. He felt awful, he really did, and the fact that she ignored his sorry, just improved on his embarrassment. "I'll follow you" he said, as she turned around to check if he was following. Just before they went out, he made sure he had everything he needed for this quest, he always liked keeping a teleportation crystal just in case the quest goes bad. "Did you bring one of them?" he said, as he showed her the crystal just before exiting the tavern. Actually, don't worry about it, i don't think we will need it"He said laughingly. As they went outside the tavern, Neopolitan started heading south, with Kosan right behind her. The path was a simple dirt path, with really nothing special about it. As they were following the path and they were looking around, to see where the quest is, Kosan mumbled " I really am sorry " . He truly felt like a jerk for acting the way he acted back in the pub, even though he had no clue she was a mute. 

As Mars miscalculated the power, Kosan was quick and managed to end the enemy quickly, making the enemy disperse into a big cloud of pixels. As the Bandit army saw their best warriors and King get dispersed so easily, they scattered into the forest, assuming to be despawned . "So.. i assume that was it now, right? The Bandit King and everything. I think he is some sort of a rare occurance"  Kosan said as he put the sword back in his hilt. "You fought well, and you clearly have the strenght to fight as a Martial Artist" Kosan said laughing "I never even did the first quest from that line" He said, waiting for a response. "What now" he said as they were looking around. "I assume we just head back, right?" he said, waiting for Mars to make the call. In the end, Mars did all the job.

Kosan hearing he only needs him to land one hit to kill the target, started charging the same skill as earlier, only now impaling the enemy straight through his chest. "I did it" he said to himself, like it was a big achievement. Truth be told, this bandit was more agile than the rest, even though he was using a Warhammer, and he was a lot better at parrying and deflecting his attacks. But this one caught him by surprise, as he turned towards Mars who yelled he will be ready in 6 seconds, Kosan charged in his back, cutting him in the star shape, inflicting hopefully enough damage to let Mars end this one as well. Kosan knew that Mars did all the job, or at least that's how he felt, but that was not going to let him feel down. As he struck the enemy, he shouted towards him "Switch !" meaning the mob was ready to be dealt with by him. He was waiting for the bandit to shatter now in front of him.

Only then Kosan understood she was a Mute.. he felt bad, he felt bad that he though she was just shy or something else, but he did not want to make a big deal out of it. "The beast looks quite tough, but from the image you can't really tell its size. I think we will be able to take it down easily" He said, at the end muttering "Also.. sorry.. you can use messages" realizing he was kind of a douche bag for telling her "No messages this time", without realizing she had a special condition. "Whenever you are ready, we'll get going" he said as he finished his drink, waiting for his partner to either order something else or get going. He did not have any clue where the quest was located at exactly, so he was going to follow her to the quest location and help her take out the said beast.

As Kosan heard that Mars needed 12 more seconds, he decided to go all out in the time he had left. He started using Vorpal Lance, which is a skill he never used before. As he was charging towards the enemy, he got parried and shoved back, without losing any health, but soon after the bandit came rushing without him with his Warhammer. Kosan feinted left, right, and even slided in between the bandit's feet, but did not manage to land any hit on him. "I will buy you the time you need" he said, as he jumped back away from Mars, to get him to regain as much energy as possible. Kosan was really going all out, with some Sword Arts he did not use in a long time. He was a rather agile character, so feinting, jumping, dashing and sliding was not such a big deal to him, especially because he was a light armor user.

Kosan saw Mars was staying down, so he decided to to try and attack one more time. As he was charging his attack, he charged forward. Luckily for the bandit, he managed to parry every single attack. Sparks were flying everywhere from the swords hitting eachother. As Kosan was about to jump back he said to Mars "Whenever you are ready, feel free to attack. Untill then, i will try to kill him, or at least keep him busy"  . He was not going to lose a fight to this Bandit, and he clearly was not going to let Mars finish another one. He felt as if Mars was doing all the job, and he was doing nothing but missing or getting parried. He jumped back as the Bandit charged at him, more sparks flying in the air, but no damage being dealt to any of the sides in the fight. "How's your energy looking like ? You need more time to regenerate, or is it ready?" He said towards Mars,awaiting for a response.

As Kosan saw Mars take on the Left Hand bandit, ending him with a singe bow, just like before, he started charging his Nova Ascension. He was about to go all out on the Right Hand Bandit, and he was about to hit the target, not lose concentration and miss his attack again. This time, nothing was blocking his path. He started sprinting towards him, and with a flurry of hits he managed to stun the target that was frozen until just now "Switch" He yelled towards Mars, meaning it was his time to go. He hoped that they will be able to finish this group as quickly as possible as he started taking more and more damage from them. Kosan did not knew if he left a good or a bad impression on to Mars, but he hoped that they could possibly do more quests in the future.

As Kosan was getting annoyed at the fact that he missed the Attack, they now had to try and keep the energy cost to a minimum. That being said, Kosan still had more energy than Mars, as he did not use that many big attacks. He started casting Shadow Explosion, and, just as it happened before, the Left Hand was being Rushed by Mars, so he had to miss the target, in an attempt not to injure him, but for the Right Hand, he hit him straight on, freezing him on the spot. "Ok, good Kosan" He said to himself, low enough so Mars could not hear him. "Get behind me, they seem angry" Kosan said as the Left Hand shook off from the damage that Mars inflicted and started sprinting towards him, not giving Kosan enough time to prepare for the attack. The Bandit managed to leave a mark across Kosan's chest, but nothing too serious.

As Kosan saw Mars go towards The Bandit King, he thought that Mars did not have enough power to take him out in one hit. Kosan got scared, as those things bring back memories. He heard Mars yell something, but he was lost in his thought. in before he knew, the 2 remaining bandits were charging at him as he was trying to attack. He took too long. The first strike, by the Right Hand, he mananged to parry, but the second one, by the left hand, managed to hit him. It did not do much, but it clearly hurt, as Kosan let out a short "Agh", before jumping back a bit and dodging any other attack that the Left Hand might have had prepare for him. "Sorry i let you down Mars, I got lost in my thoughts" Kosan said, as he said "Take on the one that has lower health, and keep up the good work, you are doing amazing"  he said, as he got prepared for his next attack.

Kosan was ready to put the sword in the hilt as he heard the drums, virtually turning as the same time as Mars towards the army of bandits coming towards them. "Its game time" he said laughing as he saw the one who looked like the toughest being rushed by Mars "Wait for me next time" he said jokingly as he got ready to attack and took his sword out and started charging Shadow Explosion. As the bandit king's right hand was closer to him than his left guard, Kosan tried to hit all of them, but had to disengage on the King and the Right Hand to not inflict damage upon Mars. "Be more careful next time, Mars" He yelled as he basically jumped in front of him "Stay behind me now" he whispered as he yelled towards the mobs in front of him "Come at me now !" 

The Bandits started sprinting towards Kosan in a fanatic matter, and he started deflecting each one of their attack, without getting hit once.  "Go now !" he said to Mars, letting him know its clear to attack quickly

"So.. was that it ?" Kosan said, slightly disappointed. "I heard stories of people dying to this. And you might have heard some as well. How can people die to this quest ?" He said, angry ,and frustrated at the fact that people actually lost their lives to a quest where the mobs can literally get 1 shotted. "There has to be something more, right? Like, a bigger bandit ? Or maybe some more powerful ones, right?" He said, as he expected the quest to have some sort of a wave system. It did not make sense how something like this could've taken lives in the past. He put his sword in his off-hand, turned towards Mars and said "I mean... you did fight good, and congrats to you for that" Kosan said as he raised his hand to shake Mars's. "Maybe, we could even become friends. I like the way you fight, and i think we could help each other in other scenarios", Kosan said, still, awaiting for that next wave or anything to appear.

Kosan, seeing as how Mars rushed in, took out the sword from its hilt. The sword did not touch any enemy in a while, so Kosan started sprinting towards the last enemy. He was ready to strike, and prepared to impress Mars with his swordsmanship, even though Mars just annihilated 3 of the bandit group, but Kosan was not going to let that make him feel bad. As he was sprinting, he started channeling his Nova Ascension, and did a flurry of hits on the opponent, freezing every limb with each hit, then the torso, then the head, with the last hit, with the hilt, in the head, that completely stunned him in both ice and dizziness. "I'll let you finish him as well, since you already finished the party before i could start" Kosan said jokingly towards Mars. This was looking like a great friendship between them, and that made Kosan be happy about it.

Kosan saw his message pop up, so he checked it.He saw that the message was from her, saying that "it's complicated". He was not understanding why she would not talk, but he did not want to pressure her into it either. as he made his way to the bar, he saw that the girl he just met did put up a genuine smile towards his kind of bad joke, and that did make him feel good. Kosan ordered a drink for himself, just a normal soda. "So.. i didn't really read the quest description. What do we have to do ?" he said.. as he was waiting for a reply, he said "And no messages this time. You can speak.. i won't bite. Sorry if i intimidated you" he apologized. He thought that, she didnt speak because she was scared of him. Truth be told, he was looking more like a PK'er than a friendly player, but that's the look he wanted, even though he had no bad intent.

Kosan did not knew there were other freeze users, mostly because it was a rare enchantment to have, so hearing there was another one amused him. "Glad to hear at least one of us is lucky" He said, letting out a small chuckle. "I think if we both go in at the same time, we can easily take them out, just as you said, but, we could use the more stealthy approach if you want. I will let you do the call" . For Kosan, this was a first. Usually, because of his history, he hated to let other people do the plans and tactics, but Mars seemed like he knew what he was doing, and Kosan was confident that, as soon as they hit the bandit camp, they will be able to take on them. "Is that it ?" Kosan said to Mars as he stopped him in his track. The camp did not look massive, and it clearly was not as scary as people depicted it to be. It had like, four, maybe five bandits in it, and it looked like they together could take them out immediately. "So, how are we going to do this, Mars ?"  he said, as he slowly got ready to fight.

When Kosan heard that he was level 29, he realised he misjudged him. He was the same level, but at first Mars seemed like someone without even a weapon, because the Martial Artists are quite rare in a game like this. "I am a master in the One handed Straight Sword Myself, i always preferred a weapon over fists. My level is the same as yours, 29" He said, meaning that they were not only looking similar, but had the same level, which meant they probably had the same power level. "As for a weapon, i prefer using my Permafrost" he said, as he raised the sword just a bit from its hilt, not fully withdrawing it, but just enough for the bright icy-blue metal to appear, and the smoke to come out. The sword had special atributes, meaning it could freeze enemies, at it was made in such a way that the blade itself was extremely cold, to the point of confusing the blade as if it was made of ice. Kosan was on the equal of Mars, and he did not enjoy it. He preferred to be better than everyone he encountered, but he knew he still had a long way to go. "Do you know how much we have to go?" he said, as he had no idea where the quest is located "Or at least where we are heading ?"

Kosan saw that the girl did not spoke "Is she extremely shy?" he thought to himself, without saying anything out loud, as he accepted the invitation. "so, what's your story Neo ?" he asked, as Kosan was thinking about getting something to drink, before they headed towards the quest. "Do you want to drink something ? Maybe we could have some kind of soda or maybe just a glass of sparkling water before we go towards the quest ? " He said to her, awaiting a response. He was not sure if she was just shy about the whole meeting a new person, or maybe there was something else, but she did seem like an ok person, one he could possibly trust. He took off his hood and his mask, unveiling his gray to white hair and his face, he had no reason in particular for hiding his face, but he just did not want to be known with his real life personality. "Well, i know i would like to drink something at least, i've run to get here and i must say, i am a bit exhausted" he said, ending it with a short laugh, as if it was real life. But then again, this game turned into their reality, with high level cooks being able to prepare food with an awesome taste, the same was for drinks and alcoholic beverages.

Kosan saw that his item was ready, so he made his way back to the shop. He did not expect much, keeping in mind the small amount of time that passed to make the item, but he was going to see it, that was the least he could do. As he made his way into the shop, at the counter, there was Hei. "So, this is the cloak" Kosan said, as Hei unveiled his craft. It looked just like Kosan expected it to look, and from what he could see, it had the stats Kosan needed. "It is looking good. Glad you did not dissapoint. I expected a mess when i came back here, especially because it was done so fast. But good job. If you ever need something crafted, feel free to come by my forge, i will make you some nice discounts."  He said, as he took his coat, transfered the money, and left Hei's shop satisfied.

Kosan wasnt sure what to believe of Mars as of right now. He seemed like an all right guy, but people can be mischievous, so he was still qute not sure about him. As he told him that the quest was supposedly not difficult, he heard other stories, of other players attempting and either dying or getting a near death experience, so he assumed that he was more battle-hardened, which Kosan was as well. He started following Mars around, he did not knew the exact location of the camp, but he heard that there are multiple ways in which this quest can be completed. "So.. What level are you ?" he asked, as they were walking. "You seem very confident, but i don't recall seeing your face", he said, with a mocking tone, sort of disrespect. he knew that everyone got stuck at the same time, but he seemed like he was hiding at the start and then later on started realizing he was actually stuck in this world, so he started doing quests. "Also, from the lack of your weapon ,i assume you are a Martial Artist, right? I havent really seen anyone having a high proficiency on that skill" he added, as he was following Mars to the quest zone. Kosan was just trying to be friendly, have some chit-chat, hopefully get to know eachother, as he was a bit nervous around new people.  

Kosan recieved the message back, and started making his way to the tavern at the southern exit of the city named Krycim. He did not spend that much time around the city, so he had to try and guide himself by either asking the other players or just following the signs or the map. Navigation was never his best point, but, nonetheless, he made it to the tavern. As soon as he entered, he was greeted by the npc's, which, offered him a drink. "Maybe later" he said, as he started looking around for the said girl. He noticed her, sitting at a table, not necesarely eating or drinking anything "Maybe she's nervous?" he said to himself, as he made his way to her. "Hello, name's Kosan. You are..?"He said, as he sat on the opposite side of her. He was waiting for the answer, while checking out her gear and her level, he wasnt that impressed, but she wasnt badly equipped either. Even though he knew her name, he wanted to make some chit-chat, to get to know his partner for the next quest.

The god had a multitude of materials, steels, valuables, and others, that the blade could be made of. Kosan chose a black metal, which silver lining. He prepared the metal, and put it in the furnace. He was afraid he was going to do a fool's mistake, so he was being extremely careful , trying to make a professional looking sword. As the metal was getting more red with each second, Kosan was thinking how he will make the sword look, trying to remember all he did at the forge, and every mistake he did, he was trying to force himself to improve as much as he could. "Well, with this magic hammer i will clearly be able to craft a masterpiece" he said, as he took the metal out of the furnace and was getting ready to pummel it into shape on the anvil, hopefully not cracking anything.

As the god was nearing the end of his forging, the sword looked unique, amazing, overall just perfect. "Its your turn now, human. You have to craft a sword better than this. You can use my tools, my materials, and my forge. Take your time. Make me proud" The God handed Kosan his hammer, which seemed massive, so the god made it smaller. That proved to Kosan that he was a real god, with real powers, and he was about to start a challenge against him. He walked up to the forge and said to himself "Ok.. lets do this" as he started melting the metal. The furnaces were roaring and the wood was cracking, Kosan getting ready to pound the metal and start making the best sword he ever did. "Lets do this, god, i will prove myself to you, and you will be forced to make me a better blacksmith !" He said, as he was looking for the material he was going to use.

Kosan was on floor 9, he wasnt that familiar with this floor, he did not spend that much time on it, but he responded to a quest call of a guy named "Mars". He was going on a quest to kill some bandits at the bandit camp. He wasnt sure if it might be a trap, if he might be a PK'er, or anything like that, as there has been many PK'ers in the past, but he was decided to go anyway. As he approached the meeting point that they established via messages, he saw a black-haired warrior, waiting for him. "Hmm.. no weapon? Is he a martial artist ? That wasnt specified. Maybe he just doesnt have it equipped.." He said, as he approached the person. "Hello. Name's Kosan. I assume you are Mars." he said, as he saw the similarities, probably the biggest difference between them, except the fact he wasnt using a sword, was the hair color. 

The god kept pummeling and pummeling at the sword, the fire was cracking in the forges, as the moon started to rose up. The sweat from the heat was going down both of their foreheads and was falling on the burning metal, making a sharp sizzling sound. The short sword kept getting a better shape with each hit, and Kosan was getting more and more scared by the skill of the god. The sword was looking more and more sharp and perfect, and it was time to cool it down in oil, to make it look pristine. It had a very nice model on its blade, and the hilt was made of deer leather combined with valuable materials. Kosan thought he will lose, and he was scared, but he wasnt going to back down, and he was going to try and beat the god at its own game, the forging game.
