"Oh? I hadn't noticed I did. It's always nice to find out things about yourself. Are you sure your not just oblivious to the fact that you do act? The first thing a characteristic should have is acceptance. If you don't accept that you put on an act then how will you ever..." he decided to cut himself off because this female wouldn't accept her act anyway. He chuckled when she mentioned this emotional scar. "Whoever said I knew everything? And from the looks on your face you look like a well off kid with a family that's average. I doubt you have an emotional scar when your smiling like that. So cliche... " he muttered to the unknown girl while taking a deep breath. "Whats your name? How many times do I have to ask you this?"

While he was listening to his fiancée he pulled up his head up display menu and went to wardrobe and changed his gear to a black coat trimmed in fur with black jeans and boots. "Ahh...this is more like it. Hm? Did you say something?" he sarcastically asked even though he already heard her. "Oh, right.. I suppose it does seem promising. Or it could be hell....a trap designed to kill off players." he muttered the end of his comment and followed his fiancée down a dark tunnel. Then they began to cross a weird looking bridge that didn't feel sturdy enough to really hold two people. "Whats a life without risks? Go on..." he smirk slightly and gently gave Haine a push. After a while of seeing his fiancée being nervous he smiled when she finally made it across, but when she did the bridge broke and sent Zauis falling. Reacting really he pulled out his sword and stabbed it into the side of the.. "What the..? Dirt wall? That's so cliche.." he facepalmed himself gently while holding on to his sword which was launched into the dirt wall. He looked down and watched as the bridge fell until he couldn't see it anymore. "I could've told you this was gonna happen considering this bridge was definitely not sturdy enough for the both of us." he muttered to Haine before taking a deep breath and closing his eyes. "This is just so UNPREDICTABLE SAO!" he sarcastically yelled with a hint of laughter interrupting his comment.

A huge smirk appeared on the males face as he turned around and put his hands behind his head while continuing to walk, but backwards instead. "Wow extra bland brand, huh? I tend to stick with the frosted fakes." he threw his two cent in once more as he noticed her facial expression look beyond serious. "You're one of those females who act like they have a heart of steel, but in reality your just scared and put on an "act" to cover up your true self. Ahh....what a shame that truly is." he tossed his hands up and shrugged with a satisfying look on his face. "By the way....your name. What is it? And how do you expect to clear this death game when your as stale as a lays potato chip."

He noticed right away that the girl still had a perfect stance even though she had been twirled around. He clapped with an unusual facial expression. He grunted when the girl refused to sit, but rather stand in front of him like he was being interrogated. "I thought you were a more interesting human, turns out your just as dull as everyone other player." he threw a tiny insult her way to see how she would react. "Oh yeah, the quest.. it's called the Secret Medicine of The Forest. Something about killing this plant that'll give us this blah blah crap and we must return it to so and so. It'll take a while to reach the forest." he horribly explained before standing up and clapping his hands together. "Are we clear on the details? Good. Let's roll out." he uninterestedly said while sticking his hands in his pockets.

While the young male kept twirling he chuckled slightly and noticed a girl in almost all black whom looked like an interesting human who was walking his way. He twirled towards her and grabbed her hand and twirled her around twice before letting go of her hand. The young male started to stumble from dizziness though he breaks free from being dizzy. He turned to the girl and threw his hand up. "Hiya.The name is Zauis.." he gave her a friendly greeting before taking a seat on the bench. "Hmm...you look like a low level. You up for doing a quest that'll benefit you maybe? If not, that's fine to." he muttered to the unusual girl.

The young slender male was sleeping under a tree on floor one when right as his eyes cracked to see daylight, Zauis noticed a message pop up on his head up display. He clicked it to open the message which was from the girl who's birthday party he had left after giving her a necklace as a gift. "This is all so sudden.. Human's are so fascinating." he muttered to himself like he wasn't human himself, though it was actually because he was always curious about that subject. He stood up and tugged on his coat slightly and started to head to her destination. "What's the point in declining material though? I think gathering some would come in handy. Heh."

The young male finally made it to the teleport gate after a long walk and saw the female standing off kinda by herself. "Yup...that's her alright. Strange that I can remember her face so well yet I have one of the worst memories ever. Maybe she reminds me of someone." he scratched his cheek with his index finger as he walked up to the girl wearing a black coat trimmed in fur with black jeans and boots. He threw his hand up with an unusual smirk on his face. "Hoh! You're the one who sent the message, correct?" he asked even though he knew the answer.

Taking this quest to help someone.

Aincrad was looking rather fascinating as usual, the bright sun beaming down high up in the sky surrounded by a light blue sky with a few white fluffy clouds that seemed to be taken the shape of animals. A young slender seventeen year old boy wearing a black coat trimmed in fur around the hood with black jeans and black boots on. His hairstyle was a rather simple and hung down to his eyebrows. He walked around with his hands in his pockets and a small mysterious smirk on his face.

"I wonder if I should go ahead and take on this quest? I'd rather not do it for myself though...maybe I'll randomly bump into someone willing to take on the quest with me by their side." He stuck his hands outta his pockets and twirled around while throwing his hands up. "Gahh....such a nice day." he blurted aloud hoping a few others would notice him.

"Sounds good! I guess I'll promise to so you don't feel alone on it." He nodded and gave her the hugest smirk he had ever done along with a thumbs up. Watching the blush on her face after the kiss was very hilarious to Zauis, well until Haine suddenly yelled outloud which startled Zauis a bit. "Got what? Huh..?" But before he could finish his comment he had to chase behind his fiancée who was running off like a child.

"H-hey! Wait up Haine!!" He yelled out to her and right as he looked up to witness a dark passageway along with two signs on the different pathways. One had a treasure chest while the other had a skull. He listened to his fiancée's question and placed his hand behind his head. "We could always split up and check them out. Maybe you take the treasure chest way and I go the skull way. But that seems dangerous so we could always go together through the treasure chest way."

"Hmm... I don't think leaving on an empty stomach would be the smartest thing I ever did. A really nice burger sounds good right now!" His mouth watered when a huge cheeky grin appeared on his face. The young male had made his move outta the grass field and back onto the path to the town. "Time to swiftly run away from these damn NPC guards. This is such a pain..."

Zauis finally made it to the town and as soon as Zauis's foot touched inside the town he quickly sprinted toward the restaurant which was fairly close and Zauis knew exactly where it was cause he was known to be on the first floor. Zauis outran the NPC's and made it into the cafe. He panted a bit and before looking around he tugged on his black jacket trimmed in fur around the hood. He noticed someone in their usual blue and white outfit which made him stand out. "Teacher...." he muttered to himself before walking toward him. "I wonder will Shark notice me right away...?" he quietly asked himself.

Zauis had just waken up from one of the longest naps he had ever took. The temperature was amazing as usual and the breeze blowing just made everything perfect for Zauis to nap all day. Though he knew he needed to gather material to get a new jacket because the one he had didn't satisfy him in the look department. It was a rather nice jacket, but wasn't really his taste. Just thinking about the new jacket made his mouth water when he clapped both of his hands together.

"Time to get crackin. I have all the time in the world to get this done, but why wait when you can get it over with!?" The question rambled inside his head as he pressed his hand against the tree to help him up. Then he suddenly thought about his brother, Asen.

"I wonder if I'll end up in the same boat as him. I'm sure he's dead....I haven't seen him in ages. Not even Aoife..." He shrugged and shook his head to forget those words even came out of his mouth. "I've got to get these material and stop focusing on the negatives."

Zauis blushed slightly and rubbed the back of his neck. "Hun, huh? Seems like someone is finally showing some love. Or is it maturity?" he teased her before he watched her take down the monster that was giving him a run for his money. He smiled when she got the last hit and chirped aloud. "Darling!? What's in the chest!? Anything good? Anything at all..?" he muttered while walking over to see nothing in the chest.

Zauis let out a sigh when his fiancée shrugged with a frown upon her face. He flicked her forehead and placed his hand behind her head and crouched slightly to gently bump her head against his. Zauis looked eye to eye with her and gave her a carefree smile. "Don't worry about that too much. It's honestly not a big deal that we didn't get anything. Were gonna keep grinding to get the material we need. I don't ever wanna see you frown again, okay? Your far more beautiful when you have your endearing smile on your face." when those words lift his lips he kisses her passionately while grabbing her hand after pulling away. "We've got two feet right? So let's put them to use and keep grinding!"

"Don't worry about dear. I understand that the bosses tactics can switch up. It's really a scary ass thing to underestimate. You could easily lose your life if you don't become aware of the patterns and try to memorize them." Zauis calmly stated while watching Haine land and attack on the monster whom was left with one hp. Zauis shrugged and looked down at the ground. "I get the last hit, huh? I doubt it. I'm a very unlucky guy from some reason. [censored] always backfires. But there's no way in hell I won't try to attack!" his eyes started to look a little darker as he gripped his sword and dashed toward the monster. They clashed and sparks were everyone and smoke started to rude and when it was all over you could see the monster had stabbed Zauis. "Damn...you got me.." he muttered as he stepped back outta the monsters blade. "Hey? You better give it your all darling...if you can't do it then I'll sure as hell try my best once you switch out."

Zauis attempted to let Haine go in for a solid hit. He watched closely and in a blank of an eye the monster had appeared behind Haine and slashed her. Zauis clenched his teeth and nodded at his fiancée. "I'm on it!" he muttered and right as he was about to dash the monster cane toward him and he swiftly dodged all the attacks and slashed him. He turned to Haine then placed his hand on her shoulder. "Your turn Haine! Make sure you be careful this time." he calmly stated as he gripped his sword.

Zauis sighs at all the questions his good friend was giving him. He looked down at the ground and took a deep breath. "Whats my plans for the future, huh? It's almost laughable because our future is in a game. Who am I kidding? No laughing matter.. After I defeat the repentance then I'll take it easy for a while and just live my life with Haine. I'm not sure what I'll do to be honest.... I know I'll avoid making enemies nowadays."

Zauis wiped his forehead and chuckled after hearing Grim's silly offer. "Vanguard, huh? That's a great guild so don't get me wrong, but I don't fit in with those people. They seem too complex for my likings and I'm just a simple guy. And I heard that rumor not too long ago. Though I'm not even helping to beat bosses anymore...I stopped after soloing the one boss that I had took on. Meh....good days. So I'll have to decline that offer man. Thanks though. So what's new with you Reaper?"

Zauis's black hair bounced with every step he took in the sand which seemed to fill his boots a bit. Zauis smiled when he heard Grim and Yure was doing good and that Grim's life was still great. "Thats really good to hear Grim. You better treat Yure right or else you'll have to deal with me. I hope you get the skill your after also." he smiled slightly and lifted his right hand up to cover his face from some of the sand flying everywhere. "Zuzu, huh? Reminds me of an old..." he cut himself off and shrugged. "Me and Haine are doing alright. We had a stupid problem going on, but it's fine.. I'm sure we'll be together forever. I love her."

He blushed slightly. "Tch...I don't like this side of me. How lameee." he muttered before dashing in behind Grim whom had led us to a nice cave to protect us from the sandstorm. "Damn...exactly why I hate the desert. It's full of crappy surprised that only get in the way." he slammed his fist into a wall and leaned against that same wall. "Talk, huh...? Yeah sure...." he muttered to Grim.

After meeting up with a long time pal, Grim and Zauis entered floor five to get the material for Grim's new katana. Zauis made Grim actually think he needed a new coat. When Grim turned to Zauis he raised his left eyebrow, Zauis already knew Grim was going to warn him so he was ready. He placed his hand on the upper part of his arm and started wind his arm around.

"I got it. So you don't need to worry about me too much. Make sure you can handle worrying about yourself as well Mr. Cautions." he chuckled at the nickname he threw at Grim. Zauis flipped his collar up on his cyan blue jacket which was trimmed in gray. He stuck his hands in his pockets and followed Grim who had put his hood on. "So how's everything going with you...?" he asked in a sadden like mood before letting a sigh out.

Zauis watched as Miaka attempted to attack and Zauis took the time to open the bag once more and he's able to drink two more potions in time before the Repentance could stop him. After Zauis saw Miaka's attack fail he noticed the Repentance dashing towards him and landing a blow on him. Zauis grunted and gripped his sword and jumped toward the Repentance and went into a spinning motion and slashed the Repentance a few times and noticed the Repentance was paralyzed. "Heheh I see you don't wanna hit a green player. You really do only want me, huh Repentance? I don't know whether to be flattered or disgusted." he laughed and motioned Miaka to land an attack on him.

Zauis had just finished up landing an attack on the Repentence and he suddenly heard a familiar voice call out to him. It was no other than Miaka, general of Azure Brigade. Zauis noticed Miaka toss him a bag and he jumped off the ground and caught it and nodded at Miaka's words. "Thanks Miaka. You might've just saved my ass. Good lookin out General." he gave him a thumbs up while picking up one of the potions. He noticed the Repentance ignored Miaka and came straight for him and slashed him up good. Zauis flew back a bit but caught himself. He then took the time to drink two potions to gather his health since he wasn't gonna attack this time.

Zauis noticed his best friend Shark walk into the building. He threw his hand up at him after he finished his conversation with Miaka. He took a seat on a stool away from the crowd a bit. He orderd himself some hot chocolate before placing his head down on the table. "Hopefully this turns out good and interesting. The boss better not be a major push over...that'll be a drag." he muttered to himself while sipping on the hot chocolate that was served to him.

He clenched the cup of the hot chocolate without realizing he started to think of the times in real life when his mother use to make Aoife, Asen and him hot chocolate in the winter. A frown grew upon his face considering he knew he hadn't seen them in a very long time in sword art online. "Hopefully their alive still.." he muttered before letting out a sigh.

Zauis's eyes widened once he saw the damage that Haine had did to the monster. Zauis knew that his fiancée was a rather frightening young lady. "Remind me not to cross her....geez" he muttered to himself with a slight smile on his face. He thought Haine was a total badass for dealing damage like that. He then gripped his sword and slashed the monster twice in rapid succession.

Zauis saw Haine blush slightly and he smiled at her and started to zone off a little bit. He loved her so much that it was sorta hard to focus on the battle considering he didn't want her to get hurt and he wanted her to remain happy, though that's something she always was. Zauis stood there silebtly and the monster ran up and swung it's claw and Zauis quickly snapped outta it and reacted in time to guard, but he couldn't catch the other attack and he was slashed by the monster. "Agh...haha I need to focus better. I can't let my guard down like that again." he muttered to himself.

Zauis watched as Haine quickly and successfully dodged his attacks but suddenly the monster actually landed a hit on her. Zauis's left eye twitched and he clenched his teeth and gripped his weapon as tight as possible. He didn't care if it was only one hp or not. The monster had just hit the one person he loved more than everything else, it was a bad mistake for it. Zauis dashed in and swiftly dodged it's attacks and slashed him once and jumped off the ground slightly and twisted in mid air and kicked it in the chest making it fly back a bit. "Heheh don't touch my fiancée. Or I'll kill you." he bluntly stated with a cocky smirk afterwards.

After getting into an intense clash with the monster, Haine had attacked it while it was focusing on Zauis. It was a really smart tactic to use. The monster turned to Haine and was about to attack but before it could, Zauis swiftly slashed it twice in rapid succession while jumping back away from it for a moment. "I'm not sure if I should be excited about us kicking his ass or not. I thought he'd be a lot stronger than this. Maybe I'm just being too cocky cause he has did a number of hits on me." he calmly said to Haine.
