  1. Azureth was knocked down, but he quickly got back up. This was one of the moments he was glad SAO didn't have pain. "Oh... who would you be?" Azureth asked. The man before him seemed able to handle himself in a fight. "Well, that doesn't matter. Will you kill things with me?" Azureth didn't care how strange he might be, or how stupid he looked. He wanted to make progress.

  2. Azureth strolled around town, looking for someone to party. After tasting his first of battle, he couldn't get enough of it. However, he soon found out that fighting alone was very boring. Soul-sucking, even. He knew that he shouldn't party with just anyone, but he couldn't stand the wait. He wanted to get out into the field and kill monsters.

  3. "Ah, I see..." Azureth said. So, the Templar Knights would be focusing on insanely hard hitting single attacks, the Tempest Shields would be guarding the Templar Knights, and the Tempest Brotherhood would be dealing medium DPS. The Tempest Brotherhood would be able to handle themselves without the shields as they had high evasion. "So, the Brotherhood will be using a mix of evasion and damage...?"

  4. Azureth agreed. They had been around a fair amount of time, and were probably powerful enough to take on some dungeon mobs. Especially with the large amount of players they would be fighting with. "Maybe a Rune Kobold Sentinel?" Azureth asked. He knew that kobolds were mobs in the first floor labyrinth. Despite the labyrinth being cleared, there were bound to be some kobolds left over from the clearings.

  5. (2941, 2) +1 EXP -1 Mat

Azureth had hopes that his next potion for the day would come out a success. However, while mixing, an acidic substance he kept in storage fell out of the shelf and into the cauldron. The potion was ruined, as the two chemicals didn't mix and created a chemical reaction. Azureth sighed. He had enough for today - He'd try again tomorrow.

Azureth immediately got to work on his second day of alchemy. He sat down in the back of his shop and began mixing ingredients. The result was a strange purple substance that burned things that were dropped into it. This was definitely not his desired result.

Azureth thought he could salvage the materials from his last failed craft, so he began running it through the filter. Usually, the filter would separate the ingredients, but these were too well mixed. Azureth sighed, and gave up on salvaging for the day. He walked back to the mixing room, ready to try his luck at crafting another potion.

  7. This was the final hit! Azureth leaped into the air above the bear, positioning his spear straight downwards. He gripped his one-handed weapon with two hands, pushing his weight down on the bear (BD: 9). When the spear connected with the bear, it let out a final cry, shattering into thousands of glittering shards. Wrecked. Azureth said out loud, sure that nobody could hear him.

    Azureth: 9/15

    Bear: -1/10

(LD: 19) The bear dropped a red spear. On closer inspection, a window popped up in front of the spear. It said this:

    Name: Crimson Spike

    Quality: Uncommon

    Enhancements: +1 Damage

Description: This one-handed spear is a deep color of red. The rod is a bit shorter than that of a normal spear, but the head is a bit longer.

  8. Azureth quickly advanced on the bear, knowing the battle would soon be over. He put his hand in front of him. Azureth then thrusted forwards while moving his hand. The spear took the place of the hand, piercing straight into the bear. It roared with anger and pain. The bear knew it only had one attack left, so it wanted to unleash it's raging fury on Azureth.

    Azureth: 13/15

    Bear: 1/10

The bear had given up all hope of survival. It knew that it could at least do as much damage as possible on it's opponent before it went. The bear charged forward at a lighting speed, surprising Azureth who had no idea it was capable of such velocity (MD: 10, Rage: +1 Damage). He didn't have time to dodge, and was rammed right in the chest. He let out a cry, falling backwards.

    Azureth: 9/15

    Bear: 1/10

  9. Azureth readied his spear. He was going to defeat this bear. That fact was obvious. However, he planned on fighting at least 2 more monsters before the sun set. Azureth didn't want to waste time. He approached the bear, smashing it downwards and throwing it back (BD: 8). The bear never lost it's footing, but it was pushed back a couple feet. Azureth knew the battle was decided.

    Azureth: 13/15

    Bear: 3/10

The bear slowly circled Azureth, with the intention of hitting him off-guard. The bear waited for a while, when eventually it jumped at Azureth. He jumped upwards, avoiding the bear's claw (MD: 4). The bear became enraged, giving him another 1 point of damage. Azureth looked at the bear's huge scratches, feeling sorry for it. This made him want to put the bear out of it's misery. He knew what he had to do.

    Azureth: 13/15

    Bear: 3/10

  10. Azureth still did not know the bear's defense tactics, so he used his best technique. Azureth jumped into the air above the bear (The cave was tall.) and used the momentum of his falling to strike the bear (BD: 9). This happened to be a critical hit. Azureth guessed that he must have punctured one of the bear's organs, but he did not know for sure. He was glad for his luck, nevertheless.

    Azureth: 14/15

    Bear: 5/10

The bear grunted, hurt by Azureth's attack. It approached Azureth while staring him down. The bear wanted to intimidate Azureth. When it finally made its way to the opponent, it used it's claws to swipe at him. Azureth did not have enough time to dodge, so he took some damage (MD: 5). This wasn't what he expected from a bear. He expected the bear to recklessly charge, like the mobs on floor 1. However, it didn't matter.

    Azureth: 13/15

    Bear: 5/10

  11. Azureth had made a fair amount of progress recently, and decided to set a new goal for himself. He wanted to become strong enough to lead his squad in Tempest Lost, and he wanted to make it to the front lines. In order to do this, he would need to both level up and obtain decent equipment. The key step to getting some good gear would be to gain col, which would concern killing monsters. Combating mobs would also give him EXP. Fighting enemies was good for him all around. Therefore, he would kill.

Azureth knew his objective now, which made his actions clear. He was partially nervous about exploring a new floor, but knew that the only way to get stronger is to challenge yourself. If he stayed on the first floor forever, he would never reach the front lines. He did not want to clear the game, rather simply to become stronger. If Azureth advanced to the front lines, he would be able to unlock new floors, therefore providing stronger enemies. The stronger enemies would drop more EXP and col, so reaching the front lines would benefit Azureth. Soon, after some exploring, he uncovered a cave. Inside was a hibernating bear, so he decided to use a surprise attack.

Azureth slowly approaches the bear, making sure not to wake it. The bear kept snoring, so it was completely asleep. Landing a blow was very simple. Azureth raised his spear, and thrusted it straight into the bear (BD: 5). The bear took 2 damage, but quickly woke up. The battle would now begin.

    Azureth: 15/15

    Bear: 8/10

The bear, surprised by Azureth's presence, took a wild swing. This happened to hit Azureth (MD: 6), sending him flying back. The bear growled with anger, clearly angered at it's untimely waking. It took a step back, preparing to charge. Azureth wondered if waking this bear was a good idea, as it was clearly raged.

    Azureth: 14/15

  12. Azureth enters the guild. I've heard that we have matters to discuss. It was true - there were many things the group had to settle. Azureth had many ideas on how to proceed, but the first was the most important. Well, right off the bat, I want to say that I'll be an alchemist for the guild. Azureth was only a novice alchemist, but knew enough to begin working for his guild.

  13. Azureth entered the shop. This was his first time in a shop that wasn't his own, so he didn't know what to expect. Instantly, an item caught his eye. The Potion of Everlasting Blush. Heh... It would be funny to prank one of my friends using that... Azureth thought. He could already imagine the look on Draterion's face when he looked in the mirror. "Hey, uh..." Azureth realized he didn't know the shopkeeper. "I'll take this." he said, holding up a Potion of Everlasting Blush.

  14. (2810, 9) +2 EXP -1 Mat

Azureth decided to give brewing another shot for today. He removed another material from his inventory, putting it in the cauldron once again. The material was hard to mix, as it turned the water around it into a syrup-like mixture. Once the mixing was complete, Azureth dipped a bottle into the cauldron and sealed it. "Not bad for my second attempt..." He declared to himself.

    Item: Elixir of Tangy Taste

    Quality: Good
    Shop: http://www.sao-rpg.com/topic/5199-shop-f1-tempest-brewery/
Description: This elixir adds a mix of sour and sweet taste to whatever it is applied to. The taste is reminiscent of a tropical fruit.
  15. (2809, 3)

Azureth began salvaging the potion immediately. He ran the liquid through a filter, attempting to separate the material and the water. This did nothing, however. Azureth was disappointed. His first craft resulted in failure. However, it was only his first attempt. He once again became hopeful, and gave brewing another shot.

  16. Azureth decides to test out his newly obtained profession. He heads to the back of his small shop, where the brewing stations are located. He takes out one of his materials and puts it into a cauldron. He then walks to the other end of the room, picking up his stirring stick. Since the cauldron is already filled with water, he begins stirring. Wow. I feel like a witch...

    ID: 2806. Craft: 5

+1 EXP. Bad item. -1 Mat.

Too bad... Azureth created a strange murky substance that was clearly unable to be drunken. However, he believed he had a chance at salvaging the wasted material. Azureth got to work straight away.
