  1. London was walking through the field of flowers, coming to enjoy the view and perhaps meditate a bit. It would be good to finally attempt to clear or ease his mind. He's done nothing but fight monsters on his own and help new players get acquainted with this death game. He wasn't the biggest fan of it all, he was no teacher and he extent of knowledge on the game just went onto what he saw and what he knows prior to this from other mmorpgs he's played. He heard someone be rather melancholy and saw them ram their fist into the ground. I wonder what his deal is...I wouldn't be surprised if it was about the game. He began to wander off to the man, in a complete silence as usual, arms folded behind his back. He reached the man and leaned over him. Casting a shadow on him, alerting him of London's presence. He looked the man in the eyes as he stood and said "What are you doing? And are you alright?" He examined the man quickly with his eyes, he wore the basic cloth clothing and a basic short sword at his side. Obviously a new player.

(OOC: you need to put what floor this is on in the title of the topic, otherwise it leaves the setting up for debate. Currently, what you described is Floor 2)

  2. London didn't look back at Shinex, he had his own things to dwell and overthink on. Alright...if it does rain then we should start heading back, it would start pelting. Ideally we should only run into wolves, deer, or maybe a bandit or two. If this guy does know what he's doing, we shouldn't have much of a problem. If he doesn't I'll have to end up doing some tanking. That, or I'll have to parry blows coming towards him and block my own, it could get ugly....They became closer to the forest, near it's beginning. A few leaves and branches littered the dirt road, the leaves occasionally flying to side a bit from the wind. This may not end as well as I hope. If anything, I can buy this player some time to be able to escape while I deal with the two v one. My rapier's bleed effect and the armor's life steal should be able to keep me alive long enough for him to escape if [censored] hits the fan...

  3. They got to the bottom of the rocky stair case, a pebble or two being kicked down the steps. They headed onto the dirt road that lead into the forest. London looked up, frowning slightly at the sky The rain could complicate things...If may make the ground muddy, if so that could be troublesome. If it gets through the surface of the trees that is. He continued to walk woth Shinex close behind. He didn't say much and his footsteps were close to nonexistant.

  4. Quite the finale, he's going to burn through his strings if he keeps doing that though... London thought as he did an upbow to compliment Arekkusu's finisher. Launching the bow upward snd slowly letting it come back down as he put his bow and bass back into his inventory. The crowd roared. London and Arekkusu seemed to have definetely made a show out of this, a rather good one. London put a hand on his hip and looked at Arekkusu. He could wait while Arekkusu talked to the crowd, he was the main preformance afterall, all London did was add his own little solo in their and complimented Arekkusu's piece. He had a smirk on his face, a friendly one, not meaning to look smug.
  5. They finally stepped out of Urbus's massive wide gates. When closed, Urbus would feel like a fortress. They began their descent on the rocky stairs towards the forest, from where they were it semed to expand for forever, its jade tops swaying in the breeze ontop of oaken pillars. The grass surrounding the land seemed a lush green. "Do you prefer the scimitar or the saber?" London inquired, attempting to make idel conversation. The sky was still grey, it was possible it was going to storm while they were out.

  6. London continued this for around an hour or so and decided to lean against his tree again. He rested a bit, letting his breathing calm again. He cycled through his inventory. He took out his contra bass and bow. I really need to get a bass guitar...this bass is getting cumbersome. He played some melodies, fitting in with the bird's singing. They seemed to like it since they began to sing louder and harmonized and sang melodies that complimented his own solo. He smiled, he enjoyed playing and the scenery.

  7. London stood up again. Might as well get some training in, I need to get better. He drew his rapier, frowning slightly, he really did need to get a new one. He took his stance and began to thrust at the air, shuffling back and forth to try and work on his footwork. He continued this for a good while, the sound of birds began to return and they resumed their songs. London continued his footwork and thrusts, parrying and riposting against invisible blades. Whenever he messed up he put down his rapier and do pushups, he continued these exercises, hoping that they would help although he had doubts in his mind that they really weren't doing anything which was incredibly likely given his actual body wasn't doing this. Maybe I can get the placebo effect to work...that's all I'm banking on right now.

  8. London accepted the trade and the rapier was left on the table, he picked it up, his eyes widening as he held it sideways and examined every detail of the weapon. It was beautiful, dark, elegant. It had a black spiral hilt, similar to that shiavona. It was everything he could ask for. An evil looking grin spread across his face. It had an air of the night and darkness about it, probably from one of the materials he gave Oikawa, he didn't pick and chose so there was a mix of possible rapiers he could have received but he was happy to see this rapier and love every bit about it. He looked at it's name and read it aloud in a rather good french accent "Le Rapier de La Nocturne...." He regained his composure and said "Thank you, I'll be sure to send you that pm soon. Thanks again!" He unequipped his old rapier and equipped the new rapier. It felt right at his side, it was a rapier made specifically for him, after all. With that, he headed out the door.

  9. London nodded. "Alright, follow me. And 1 material should get you a good item but those are the equivalent to vanity items, they are no better than what you have right now." London began to walk out of the alleyway and around a few corner into the busy market. He looked over his shoulder to make sure Shinex was still following. He was unsure at this man's ability and was curious, I wonder if he's going to go down the Katana weapon path, most people do when they invest in the curved sword path. They were approached the Urbus's gates rather quickly.

  10. "Alright. I can show you some of the monsters on this floor if you want, no reason not to hone your skills or something like that. You'll need col or materials to give as payment to a player blacksmith if you want a better weapon." London explained and offered. He was curious to see this man's skill with a sword, if he had any that is. He could always use the time to get more materials, col, or just experience. He needed the materials so he could go get himself a coat.

  11. "Interesting, observing the creatures. Well since they are AI they will probably a set path by the system, unless they are radiant. And if they did their research and based the Minotaurs off of actual Greek mythology then, they will stick to their maze and occasionally wander about. In any other game I've seen they wield battle axes, which means their hits will have a lot of 'Oomph' behind them naturally, not taking into consideration their strength." London explained, he continued "From what I've gathered, they do around 4 damage per hit and have around 23 health. A new sword will only get you so far, considering you are level 4...."He thought for a moment "11 health, 3 hits and you are dead with what you've got. They don't come out until you seem to take something. You'll be in an area where you can be get lost. Observation will generally be useless, that is, if you make it out that far." London finished, he felt off about telling this man all this information, he had no reason to trust him. But London reluctantly did so so that the man didn't go off on a suicide mission.

  12. "Minotuars....I've heard about the twin ones in the walking mist of the forest but all I've encountered were some wolves." London explained, he raised an eyebrow. "You're not going to try and fight one of them with what you got currently, are you? You'd be killed faster than you could even dent one of them." he questioned, Does this guy even knows what he was doing with a sword. Regardless, Hes underestimating his opponets and their abilities or overestimating his own...

  13. London chuckled slightly at Shinex's small joke, he folded his arms over his stomach rather than his chest, looking more open. "To be honest, I'm not entirely sure where you can get armor like this regularly. It was given to me by an event 'npc', posing as Santa clause." London thought for a moment, Level four...I'm only level six right now so he's not that far behind me. "It's better than the default saber they give you, unless it's not a saber." London looked back and forth as if he was checking if anyone else was listening, he knew no one was and had no reason to do this, more of less curiosity rather than caution. He softened his voice "From npc vendors, the best you'll get is an uncommon item at best." he cleared his voice, speaking more clearly and at a normal volume. "You'd have better luck farming mobs for a better sword. He looked at the man, he wanted to know something. And London was beginning to think it was not in harmless curiosity.

  14. London opened both eyes and looked the man straight in the eyes now, and stood straight again. "I've been fine. Just thinking as of late." He responded. He saw how the man eyed his equipment. It was rather obvious interest. "You've only got the basic scimitar and cloth clothing. Are you a new player?" He didn't really care much for meeting an array of people, keeping generally to his friends but at the moment. He had close to no friends, just acquaintances he was on good terms with. He wondered if this man would be the same. He could see a waver in his face for a moment. He was combating some thoughts in his head, he was sure of it. London took a step forward to come into better lighting, despite it, he seemed to naturally fit in with the shadows that surrounded him. His general presence seem to be foreboding and somewhat soothing at the same time. A strange air seemed to hang about him.

  15. London naturally shook the man's hand. "Sindon, a pleasure to meet you." His hand shake was surprisingly firm. He cringed inside at the mention of the so called "poem". "I did nothing of the sort...he just sorta jumped on the table and started to serenade everyone. Apologies about all that, regardless of him knowing him, it was rather rude to just do that." There was something about his presence that was calming and uneasing at the same time. He saw the man wiping his eye. I wonder if that was because of the poem from laughing to hard. I doubt it, I didn't really see anyone laugh or even give him much attention. London wasn't prone to smiling, in fact, his grim face showed that smiles were very rare to pass across his visage. However, he smiled slightly, it looked to be more of a smirk as he introduced himself.

  16. London opened an eye and looked at the man, tempted to just ignore him and shut his eye again. The man who was passing him was wearing basic cloth clothing and had a scimitar. He was a new player, or at least, a very ill equipped player. London responded. "Hey," his voice had traces of tiredness in it but it was still calm and collected. "How are you?" this wasn't asking the man to generally stop, actually, there was a very good chance the man might just reply with 'Good, you?' and keep on moving, not even listening for the answer. It was however, more of an invitation of conversation. It grew boring being stuck with only his thoughts for immense amounts of time so he decided it might be good to start up at least some small amount of conversation with another player. It certainly wasn't an npc. Npcs rarely brandish weapons in a town unless they are suppose to be knights or mercenaries. That and a common npc would never head down one of these alleyways unless they were a footpad, a petty thief, or a thug. Rarely seen in the cities so far, at least from what London's seen. He's heard things, but he wasn't going to believe everything he heard from passerby-ers. It'd be rather foolish.

  17. The crowd kept funneling in and out of the market. It seemed to be almost perpetual. It was the holidays so perhaps that might have been the reason for all of this busyness, it was generally a bit less busy but it was a market after all. The ally way was seeming a bit more inviting. It offered a bit of escape or at least, a bit of space from the growing crowd. It also was a bit curious, and secretive. Even if it was dubious, the crowd was beginning to seem suffocating. It seemed very likely that any equipment that was available was already picked up by now. At least anything that was on display that is.

  18. London heard the rhythmic violin and perked his head up. Music? London a evil smirk slowly crept through his face, it wasn't bad intentioned or foreboding whenever he did this like he actually was about to do something sinister but the worse to come this was a bit of mischief and London wasn't impish so this was just the smile he produced when he liked something. He walked towards the backside of the crowd and cycled through his inventory and quickly took out his Contra bass and bow. He waited a for Arekkusu to finish, or at least pause, and then London slapped the body of the bass with his bow making a loud tap sound, it sounded musical and fitted in right with what Arekkusu was playing, he began on his own solo. It kept in line with Arekkusu's sound to not throw off the whole feel of his little concert. London was musically adept enough to know this, he's been listening to music his whole life and playing steadily for a good part of it, he wasn't any Flea or Cliff Burton but he was still good, and his playing was rhythmic as well, a bit heavier in sound but still almost festive and fun despite it sounding more punkish in overall tone. It gave the feeling of wanting to dance. Occasionally switching between Arco and Pizzicato. He danced as he played, putting his heart and soul into playing as usual. He always had "feel" when he played, as he called it. He loved playing music just as much as Arekkusu if not more. That's a debate that could be settled later, although it really doesn't matter. They both shared a love for their music. Npc's were grinning as they turned their heads towards London. He wasn't trying to steal Arekkusu's audience so he went into a call and response kind of solo.

  19. London continued to walk down the alley way, he's been down it before. It was rather long, if it was wider it might have been considered a street. London stopped for a moment and looked up to see the blotted and gray sky. He sighed and looked downward. The market was on both ends of alleyway, however, the end he was saw in the distance and more towards the plaza. It was inviting and secretive, despite being so easily found, no one really went down this alleyway unless they wanted it. London leaned against the wall. He exhaled and closed his eyes with arms crossed as he turned his head upward.

  20. London looked about Urbus, he was sitting down on the edge of the base of a statue. The statue was of darken copper, obviously aged. It was of the stereotypical kind of warrior on a horse statue, made of what seems to be oxidized brass or copper. The base was only a step heights. One for the general foundation, which London was sitting on, and a more raised elevated second piece where the statue stood. He rested his head on his palm and glanced downward. He was thinking about a few things, some rather bleak in nature but this is how London often thought, never one to really look on the brighter side of things. London sighed and dropped his hand and looked at the passing players and npcs. He didn't expect to see anyone he knew, he was beginning to stay more often in Urbus, it still retained it's busyness but had a better feel to him than the starting city, perhaps a bit more grey was the reason. London preferred darker colors, it was easier on the eyes for him. He was debating on whether or not he should start playing for these people. He decided against it for the moment. Until he could get a bass guitar, even an acoustic, he wasn't going to be playing any music he generally like on his Contra. The strings were too thick and it's action was too far off of the finger board to actually be played the way he wanted. It would suffice for Jazz music of course but he preferred his hard rock if he could.

  21. London was a bit surprise by Atma's apology, he certainly didn't expect it. "It's fine, don't worry about it." he began. "I agree that praying won't do anything but may I ask what about? As for what I've been doing, currently I just visited my friend's smithy. Besides that, just thinking, practicing, training, and thinking of new strategies." London noticed Atma's shifts in mood, personally, he'd be embarrassed too if he did the same and would apologies to the person he sang it for, although, London doesn't sing. London drummed the pommel of his rapier a bit with his left hand, occasionally hitting his thumb against it like someone who was slapping a bass guitar.

  22. London was walking throughout Urbus, it liked it's feel a bit more than the starting city, still busy as usual in the market. But there were several places he saw where he could hide or slip away if he wanted. I really should pick up that stealth skill eventually...London thought to himself, he would seem to be exceptionally well at it, naturally fading in and out of existence. He looked to the side and saw the huge wave of people flooding in throughout the market, in and out of shops. London groaned as he rubbed his eyes with a hand, it was a bit too much to deal with at the moment. He decided to turn into one of the alley ways, the road of the alley way was cobblestone. It had spurts of allege spurting in between them, some water was trickled from the roof tops and the entire alleyway seemed wet, besides the walls which fortunately had the roofs to overhang them. It had rain earlier, it looked like it may again, the skys overhead were gray and had dark heavy clouds hung low, bloating out the sun. It was a dreary day. His footsteps made audible taps against the stone floor, spouting a bit of water about.

  23. London heard an all to familiar voice and froze, standing completely erect now, closing his eyes for a second as if that would make him disappear. He reopened them and Atma was bouncing in front of him. He sighed a bit. "Hi...I'm fine, thank you. Yourself?" London was trying to be polite. He settled and he rested his hand on his rapier, his visage returning to it's grim state. He sized Atma up quickly, looking him up and down for a split second. He seemed to have a better sword than the default, possibly uncommon, it's quality wasn't shimmering like a perfect and it didn't look rare. His armor did however look out of the ordinary, he could see himself in the reflection of the armor. He seems to have a great deal of energy...like two other people I know....I shouldn't think about him...or her for that matter. It only brings back bitter memories for one and worry for the other.

  24. London's breathing calmed a bit. He looked down at his armor. This armor is becoming rather useful....I should have been, taking damages through the battle into account, at around 10 to 9 hp at the end of that little ambush. This armor essentially is it's own healing potion....What's the catch. It's title is "The Armor of Sinning"...that already has a dubious name as it is. That's not already taking into account it's somewhat dark or even demonic appearance. London thought about it for a bit, recalling any time the armor gave him any heals during battle or well, used life steal. Anytime I landed a devestating or killing blow was generally when it happened....Maybe it's because the act of killing is considered by some a sin in religion...maybe it's trying to reward me for dealing heavy damage or lethal damage. If that's true then it's going to be sorely mistaken. I won't kill unless I have to...that or if it's a mob, which is just AI so there is no moral repercussions for killing a bandit, or a boar, or something like that. They were made here, not trapped here like us. I'm also a duelist, I at least try to end any fight I get into at soon as possible. It's generally how single target dpses work in mmos but in a real combat sense it still makes sense to do that when you're using a 1 on 1 dueling weapon.

  25. London saw Arekkusu getting up and leaving out of the corner of his eye as he waited for a response from the man he was standing behind. He decided not to pester or follow him, he seemed to have his fill of the night. London was sure he'd talk to Arekkusu one on one when they met again, that's how London did things at least. Never really one to meet a whole new group of people at once, it ruined some of the engagement if it was all divided between people. He also noticed that whenever he was in groups, no one would hear him or if he was about to say something, someone would cut him off. He looked at the man again and tapped his shoulder lightly, saying "Hello." again but a bit louder this time, perhaps he was speaking a bit too soft. This time it had to be heard, the man would have to be deaf otherwise.
