Gah watching players die from floor one enemies is sad as hell; they really neexd to make cloth armor always give you 1 damage mitigation to help avoid this, and maybe a hp potion or whatnot.

Canonically, a lot of players did die in the part of the game on the first floor and only very few room cleared. Most stuck around as villagers on Floor 1 in City of Beginnings.

After the initial deaths of the players who died because a nerve gear was ripped off or died to a level one boar, the deaths slowed down drastically as people either stayed in safe zones and only grinded to better there stay or were on the frontlines.
