Her blade slid through the air itself, slashing the board in half horizontally, finishing it before the fight could go any further. She looked at her loot window; instead of getting the normal mat and col she got the quest mat, Boar ivory. Good one of the items down, now she needed to find a wasp, which also spawned in this area. She decided it was best to take a break and she walked into the forest itself, to search for the flower while healing up naturally.

((When looking for flower LD roll of 16+ finds it with no issue, 10-15 causes a monster to spawn with it as a mat, and 1-9 have no item pop up.)

She leaped at the boar, trying to finally finish it off; at this rate 2-3 more hits should kill it, and she wanted this part to be done with- she had killed enough boars for a lifetime! Her blade sunk into it once again, and the boar cried out in pain as it's tusk attack missed by a ways. Claire chuckled and danced backwards; her armor helping out quite a bit when the boar wasn't getting lucky!

The boar bit at her again, and while she was sue she had jumped out of the way, the boars nibbling teeth told her other wise, causing her to fall flat on her back due to the momentum. Once again slashing up at it's face to push it off of her, her blade dug into it the second time in a row, which was better than she was doing last night at least. "Quit doing that!" She cried out, and stood up once more.

It stampeded forwards, attempting to actually bite her, it's teeth rugged and misshapen, and brimming with drool. It's unexpected attack caught Claire by the leg, and impaled her on some of it's sharper teeth, causing some pain; but locking it in place for a counter attack. Her blade curved across it's face and sent it packing, the beast releasing and trotting off to make another pass. She looked down at the bite shaped red-lines; not the most elegant way to do things for sure.

The boar came in hot when it neared her, tusks glowing white- exactly what she wanted. She dropped into a low combat stance and slashed at it's side while rolling away from the attack as best she could. She dodged his attack, but too soon, and she was out of range when her blade needed to hit the beast. The boar kept going onwards crashing into a fallen tree before turning around and pawing at the ground in it's preparation to attack again.

Boars where not hard to find at all, you throw a stone in the field and one would spawn; however her's required her to get a drop from it, so it had to be of sufficient challenge rating. Going near the back of the Field that bordered the forest one popped out from the brush, charging at her right from the get go; but being too far away to do anything at this exact moment. She drew her blade and prepared to fight the beast down, to get the first of the parts she needed for the quest.

She quickly ended up at an old man, who waved her down saying "Ah there you are brave hero, you where the one that inquired about getting a job, no? Good, Bring me back a sliver or Boar ivory, a Wasp stinger, and a Cidinia Flower from the monsters in the field and I'll show you how to turn them into the true currency of Aincrad- Coupons!" He said; obviously not programed for actual dialog simply cut and paste stuff, still she happily nodded and wandered out to get the first item, a boar ivory.

Claire wandered the streets of the city of new beginnings with wonder; all her hard work had left her with a measly slice of Col; but she wanted more! While thinking of ways to get richer faster a blip on her menu popped up, telling her she got a new quest request. Looking into it she quickly read that it was an offer to gain a profession and open a shop. What kind was up to her, but she thought about it, and best thought of the ways to make money would be dealing with the money itself. Buy and sell crap to other players! She happily accepted and headed out to where the quest giver was for more details.

Having slain her five boars like she promissed herself she rested for a bit to heal and whent back to town, the trip back rather uneventful. she counted her lootings and smiled; not a bad trip all in all. Next time she was coming out with a bigger sword though, the pig sticker she had can't even stick pigs right!

When the boar closed in Claire took a slahs at it, the beast was aperently prepared for such a response, as it backed up then charged forwards at her, missing after she rolled out of the way. Well that tactic didn't work, perhaps.... She didn't get much time to think on it, and the boar rushed right back into the fray, Missing her once agian, as did her blade. "Enough of this!" She cried out and leaped at the boar, murderious intent free-flowing! And the blade finally struck into it, slaying the beast once and for all. She even got some Col out of it~

Barely getting to her feet in time she missed her window to attack, just as she was prepairing the boar charged past her, ripping into her calf with it's sword sized tusk. The pain causing her to fall to the ground she decided to use this to her advantage. She stayed on the ground, waiting for the boar to charge at her again.

She slashed again, feeling the blade dig deeply once more and seeing a second streek of red-line. This one caused the boar to roll over in an atempt to get her off, crushing her under it's weight for a seocond, knocking the wind out of her and causing her to remain on the ground. Getting back to her feet before the boar could stamp her face in she prepaired for the next assult.

Actually Chimera's do exist; The Blue eyes boss was a chimera of sorts, Human bodys, feet and head of a goat, and tail of a snake. So technecly they do exist, just not the same exact form; and it was a floor boss soooo......

The new boar charged at her, eyes glowing red with rage and power, trying to stab her to death; and with it's larger size it could easly do that! She leaped onto it's back and slashed downards at it's neck, dealing a massive blow to it, and avoid it's attack in one quick action. She then held on in an atempt to ride it until she could do it again!

Her blade came down, slicing through the head of the boar, where goar and blood would have came out only red lines remained. Even those only lasted for a bit, as the monster promtly exploded into shards from it's death. It never even got a chance to attack back at her. she quickly exepted the loot before narrowly dodgeing a new boar that ran out of the bushes, huffing and ready to avange his comrade!

Another charge, another spinning slash to the back of the body with the boar missing as it ran by, still goreing air. The boar was on it's last leg and it turned to limp away, but claire was having none of that and ran after it, jumping off a fallen log and hanging in mid air with blade raised high and ready to strike. She landed a bit off and right infront of it however, before turnign around and readying to finish the weakened beast!

Next question, Does the Skill rank Enhancement allow you to take a skill rank past it's norm al limits; seeing that all ranked skills have static numerical scaling equal to their ranks? Being a rank 6 curved blade users with a trinket that gives me +2 to curved blaade skill allow it to go to rank 8; andthus be 8 bonus damage, or does rank up only go to the skills normal maximum?

The boar charged at her, frothing at the mouth with anger at the human that had ingured it, Trying to gore her for all it had. But it passed right by as she did a spin in place, dodging ti while cutting it's sit with her blade in one fell movement. After the pig had stoped and turned around Claire taunted it with her other hand, telling it to come at her again.

Dashing after it she leap from the rock at the oversized pig, blade crashing down upon it's back wounding it. It tumbled back, and sliced her arm with it's tusk enraged. It wasn't going anywhere htis time, and did a hoof stomp at her to prepair for it's next attack!

Re-engaging with the boar her blade curved through the very air, and right past the boar! The boar took the time to smack her in the hips, knocking her off balance and doing minor damage. "Get on my dinner plate!" she yelled at it, getting ready to swing again as the boar skittered off a ways over a large rock.

After a breif break she jumped back into the fray, spawning another boar by walking past a bush. With zero hesitation she dashed forwards and atepted to cut it down before it could do much damage! Her blade missed, and she quickly pinwheeled awayy standing 10 feet away from the beast after they had both missed their chance to do damage. "You'll be number four~"

She quickly stepped forwards to take that last hit, blade making a full arc through the sky in a cresent motion, atempting to cleave the boar in twine. And the blade found it's purchase! Cutting into the beast she watched as it exploded before gettign a chance to attack back; getting a loot list showing that she also got col from her effort. "And break time again. So two is as far as you can take me, no?" She said, looking to her starter weapon, she hoped her comishion for a new one at that quiet little forge that seemed to be all the buzz was going well.

She played more defesively once more however she didn't wait, but attacked it at the first opening she had. The boar squeeled as the blade curved through it once more, and atempted to gore her again, but she lept back before the attack hit. It was starting to get down to the wire, so Claire took the next hit, dashing right at the beast in a rage, desprate to kill the thing before her health dropped any farther! Her blade raked across the boar, which displeased it causing it to counter attack. To which she was beign too careless to dodge effectively! Crying out in pain she got back into battle stance, a small pant as her health dropping so low started to make her panic.

She waited for the boars next attack, standing her ground until it charged her, planning to dodge it and slash the boar in one go. After a moment, the thing started to run forwards right at her, and she couldn't side step it! Sticking her sword out to meat him she felt herself knocked aside by the beast, dealing damage to it at the cost of taking more herself! Crap it it kept going this way she really would die!
