  1. "Astrid, it's time to get up." The auburn haired teen awoke from her light slumber, her cheeks damp and the corners of her eyes holding the remains of her tears. She was yet again haunted by the voices of her loved ones, remembering the times when life was much simpler. Her dreams were flashes of colours, light and dark, from her childhood. Nothing could be made out due to how young she had been when she last saw her parents' faces, she last could see, that everything blurred together in a haze of confusion. Looking up at the sky, her mind drifted. She wondered how her parents were doing. They were probably worried, they've been worry warts since she was young, so she wouldn't be surprised. She hoped that they weren't neglecting themselves though. Her mind wandered around those thoughts, causing her mood to dampen. She quickly slapped her cheeks; once, twice, three times. She shouldn't worry about these things right now.

She lifted herself up and off the tree she had been napping on, wiping her cheeks as she turns her gaze upwards. Sun was leaking in between the tree branches, dotting her skin with sun spots. She was thankful that the wilderness was quiet while she napped. She had made sure to defeat any wild animals that were near her before napping, but more could appear at any moment, catching her when she was most vulnerable. She admits, the location she chose for her rest wasn't the best, but she thought it was a shame to go indoors when there was such a nice breeze and it was so calming. Now that she was well rested, and had stretched out all the tiredness from her body, it was time to head into town. It would be a mixture of wandering around aimlessly and listening in to some gossip about level progress. It was something she did every few days or so. Fixing her hair, pulling out any twigs or leaves, she made her way into town.

I put the jacket on because it was aesthetically pleasing, and then proceeded to die shortly after the pictures were taken

  4. The young teen continued her lazy shuffle, so lost in thought that she didn't notice the male that was approaching, until he was right in frost of her. Her eyes opened with a start, her attention going to the male. "A- ah! N- nothing's wrong!" She lifted both hands, one going to scratch the back of her neck as she shook the other one, as if to brush away any concern he held for her. She bowed to him after he introduced himself. "I'm Astrid, it's a pleasure to meet you Helios!" She chirped, flashing him a closed mouth smile, pushing all negative feelings down along with her tiredness. She looked up at his face, her eyes wandering over his features before resting at his eyes. They were a pretty green colour. "Nope, nothing at all. Everything's fine." She said in a reassuring tone; she couldn't have strangers worrying about her.

  5. "Be careful." Astrid said to Jomei as he moved past her towards the other creature, another boar from the looks of it. The male might be more experienced than her, but the boar was huge. She could only hope for the best while she did her own job as quickly as possible, to help him if needed. She lifted her rapier, prepared to give the final blow. She pulled her arm back, ready to surge it forward with as much force as she could, but half way through her attack she heard the sound of something large connecting with something else, and a grunt. She turned her face towards the direction it was coming from in time to see Jomei on the ground; the boar had knocked him down. This caused her to miss her target. "Are you okay?!"

  6. Astrid kept her eyes on the boar, as she heard Jomei call out to her to finish the boar quickly. "Got it!" She called back to him. As she bent her body for another attack, she felt the ground shake slightly. There was something on the other side of the pen, and from the feeling it gave off, it was large and it was angry. She didn't waste her time to see what it was, and instead coiled her body for another attack, quickly lunging forwards and piercing the boar again. Its health was almost completely finished, another hit and she will have defeated it.

{{Hey, could you please not move my character at all, even little things such as expressions.

  7. Astrid grunted as she was knocked off her feet my the small boar, landing on her behind. She lifted herself up with a scowl. She was no longer going to go easy on it. The sympathy she had felt for it earlier was all gone, replaced with a fire coursing through her veins. She wasn't sure whether it was adrenaline or anger, maybe a mixture of both, but now she was fired up. Taking a deep breath, focusing her eyes on her target, she lunged forwards, successfully getting a hit. This time she made sure not to get too carried away, keeping her mind on the task at hand.

  8. Astrid quietly lifted her hand or face tapping her chin with her index finger while deep in thought. What did she want to do? Honestly she had no idea and the more she thought of it the more she came up blank. Or, not blank, but she had many ideas and she couldn't use just one. The question was also quite vague. Did he mean in the future? Because if so, she would like to fight on the front lines, help win the game with other players and get out of this world before she became attached to it, to a point that she won't want to leave. Or did he mean at that moment? Though she would love to get back to her writing, she would also like to continue to improve her current skills and make some friends. As she opened her mouth to say something, either tell him she wanted to relax or improve, her stomach grumbled lightly. She hadn't eaten since dinner time the night before, and her her body was finally complaining about it. "Ah, sorry about that." She mumbled her apology as she turned her face to her feet to hide the heat that was quickly travelling up her neck. How embarrassing, to have this happen, in front of a stranger no less. She almost wished that the floor would open up underneath her and swallow her up.

  9. Wind whistled past the auburn haired girl's face, gently caressing it, reminding her of when her mother used to gently stroke her cheek whenever she entered the room as a sign of greeting. She was currently strolling through the High Fields of Crossing, admiring the large array of plant life. The colours and smells were quick to overpower her senses, making her feel warm and peaceful; almost sleepy. This is how she imaged Dorothy had felt when she was in the field of roses, from her favourite movie 'The Wizard of Oz'. The fact that she was in a safe zone, and that not many were there, didn't help her fend off the tiredness that was slowly moving its way throughout her body. Already her pace had slowed to a sluggish pace, and her arms hung limply at her sides while she gazed before herself with half lidded eyes. Astrid had come to the second floor to get away from her responsibilities and always present pressure of having to improve. Not that she deserved this break, being a player with such a low level, but she felt that the fact that her growing depression was going to consume her. Too many times had she cried whilst fighting a boar or wolf to level up, thinking that she may never be able to hear her parents' voices or feel their gentle and always living hands upon her. Too many times had she caught herself considering ending her own life before the game stole it from her, so she would at least have control of something in her now seemingly short life. But every time the episode of sadness left, she would be filled with new strength to improve, it would be quickly brought back by a wrecking ball through a building; hard and fast. She may not deserve said break, but she truly emotionally and mentally needed it.
