Lee

Lee would let the grin on his face slide ever wider as she would inflate his ego further with her comment. He would then turn his attention to the monsters as she would attack the first of the elemntal's and land a strong blow to which he would let out a whistle. "Well look who is turning into the bada*s. You go gurl." He would make sure to put the emphasis the girl with a 'u' in the most sarcastic of ways. He would then let his attentions fall to the ice creature once more and bring his sword up as he heard her speaking of them at least not being spiders and how this might take a bit longer but that sole fact was a saving grace. "Well..." He would then let his sword fall onto the monster, blood and sparks emitting from the blade yet again and as it slashed the creature, he would continue "...You do know that there is a boss we have to fight after these right? This was just dumb bad luck, has nothing to do with the quest."

The First Elemental took the strike with nothing to do but take it and was further put into a state of bleeding and paralysis. The Second Elemental would take the chance to bolt at the armored man and smash into the shield and taking a bit of health from the player but would soon find itself on the ground as well in a state of unmoving. The Third Ice Elemental would try to do the same but would shoot wide and miss him entirely.

Lee stood atop a massive dragon's skull, the flames around him flickered against the armor he wore, dancing around him were the embers of death and beyond that, nothing. The entire landscape was littered with the corpses of monster after monster, massive golem chunks to manticore's dismantled corpses. With a deep breath, Lee would swing his sword free of the creatures blood and right as he let it slide into his sheath, a massive humanoid figure would rise behind him and before he could completely turn to face it, left arm would burst open in a violent explosion of black glitches and code and then he would wake up.

Lee would be leaning back in his chair on the top floor of his mansion, the chair turned to face the large window as he took in several breaths and lean forward, taking his head in his hands as he aimed to regain his composure. He would pull himself from his chair and equip his armor and look around and as per usual, the room contained himself in terms of conversation and that was the way he enjoyed it the most and what he had the single room at its top to simple get the quiet he never asked for. It was funny as he usually never liked the whole 'being by himself' idea and he felt as though it was mainly for the off chance he needed privacy or wanted to enjoy the view.

The male player would look to see that Piera was still in his party and it had become something he had been doing more out of daily habit. Like checking a phone or computer for the time, it didn't feel different or odd. Though, for the time being, while they were indeed together, now they had a building to actually call home and currently, even had a plus one in the form of Jomei. Lee himself had come to smooth things over with Piera so now that she also knew of the building, it felt as though that having Jomei here for the time being only felt like the right thing to do.

Lee would turn his attention toward Domarus as he would comment on what it was that Lee was saying and give a valid counter point to which Lee would cross his arms and give a light nod in agreement. "I can see that though I feel that's the goal of most, if not the vast majority of most players in general. I just think that groups and guilds should be a bit more..." He would pause for a moment as he aimed to find the right word "...distinguishable." Stryder would then make the comment that the guild he was with was aimed in helping players move forward in order to get their own footing.

It was admirable though he felt as though his point still stood unfaltered. He would break away from this thought as he would look at Vigilon as he seemingly struck the boulder but this time around, it may have struck back which Lee would quickly raise a hand to cover his mouth to suppress any sort of laughter from escaping. After a moment, he would use the same hand to raise a thumb upward toward the player "Keep it up, it wasn't easy for anyone so you're doin great." Lee would then look to Wardege as he was called to action but upon striking the rock, his attack followed suit to that of the man that had called for his aid which caused a similar reaction as Lee would turn his head to look away at some unknown object as he quickly covered his mouth yet again to keep himself from being too rude but it was so very hard.

The armored man would stiffen as the ghost would turn to face the one that had addressed it but with eyes void as...well, a void, he was taken aback. He would simply stare till he heard the words of the female behind him that spoke of the ghostly creature not wishing to speak. He was about to speak about how she was right and how they should progress when the ghost would seemingly take a small amount of opinion on the matter by aiming to stop the armored woman. She seemed unfazed by the sudden incorporeal roadblock and as he watched her go for her weapon, Lee was about to say something and reached out but as the blow was struck and a moment passed, the woman would come together. "Well.....d*mn." Lee would simply stand there, a bit baffled at not only was any damage done but that they were not in battle as the spirit did nothing. His temporary partner would then suggest that they find another route and as she turned around, the ghost would come forth with simple words. "Hold on....."

The spirit would slowly tilt its head to the side and turn it downward, as if to gaze upon the small child in its arms with a overall atmosphere of mourning. "I don't want it to end this way. My poor baby. You can't let it take my poor baby. You have to help me. If I lead you to the bull headed beast, would you slay it?" The ghostly apparition would twitch, its head jerking slightly each time she spoke the word baby and all the more violently as she began to speak about the beast. Lee would glance toward the woman, the ghost and then back to the woman "You think she's talking about the same monster we're looking for? If she is, it'd be hella nice to find it sooner rather than wandering around for another lord knows how long."

This is awesome and educational and funny

I personally think that there should be more to the overall quest and things to being married than shared inventory in my honest opinion.
I like the idea of actually getting things prior to the wedding in order to make it more quest like but I am not too fond of fighting a monster as this shouldn't be something where the threat of death should be at all present...like, at all.
A few ideas
 

These are just a few ideas, mainly to make marriage being more than a passing thing and have an actual meaningful effect on both the characters, the game and the role player experience. I took a good chunk of the ideas from another game which I feel like a lot of the same mechanics can apply. Seeing as both are online games, I don't see why not.

The plate armored man would rip his sword from the ground and quickly turn his attention toward the scorpion that was seemingly taunting him. It wasn't doing anything different from what it was doing prior but now, now it seemed as if it was doing all these things on purpose. Lee would take in a deep breath as he noticed Zero_Lost04 had missed his strike due to what he assumed to be Lee's rambling. Lee would aim his weapon at the scorpion "You are starting to get on my ever lasting..." He would draw his sword back and thrust himself and his blade forward, sparks and blood emitting from along the blades edge as it would inject itself into the creature "nerve." He would then rip it out and bring his shield up with a wide smile over his face.

The Sand Scorpion would finally break free from its paralysis just as the broadsword wielding player would miss it. It would turn its attention to the shield wielder just in time to take a stab to its back. It would stab against the shield and be met with recoil yet again, the thorns causing more damage to the creature as the effects would soon take effect yet again and it would soon spell disaster for the creature.

Lee would continue to stare at his weapon as if it had done him a personal offense and it did this of its own accord to cause him to miss. He would look down at his shield and mutter something inaudible to it and then to his weapon of choice. He would then look up in order to see Zero_Lost04 take a moment to breath and ready himself and his skill and upon unleashing it, it would land on the still frozen creature to which Lee would tap his sword against the front of his shield in a clapping motion "There we go, that is what I'm talkin about." Lee would swing his sword down without looking and because of this, his sword would strike sand as the creature had been moved from the Sword Art and Lee would look down when his sword did not meet the resistance he had hoped it would have. "Son of a..." He would let his head fall back and take in a deep breath "ggggGGGAAHH, Video games and the to-be-da*med hit boxes!" Even though the scorpion was no where near the blade when it fell.

The Sand Scorpion could do nothing but take the strike and continue to bleed from the effects it was still under and the sword skill that was used against it would cause its health to drop further but it would begin to twitch a leg and aim to regain itself.

Lee would turn his attention toward Piera as she seemed pleasantly pleased not only with herself but the overall situation that the creatures were in during the overall fight. The most being the result of one of the creatures hitting the ground and rising with snow covering itself. It was so much so that it caused her to miss in a fit of laughter. Lee would let forward a chuckle at her more so as he would look toward the creatures and to the one he had his sights on for the majority of the fight. Lee would then draw his sword upward "Oh yes and its only going to get all the more enjoyable." He would say this and let his blade come down and crash upon the first Ice Elemental as his sword would spark and blood would begin to bleed as its effects would transfer over to the monster. "And that is hella sweet." He would then look to the brunette and give her a wink for good measure.

The First Ice Elemental would be struck by the armored man's weapon but upon taking the strike, would lash one of its tendrils out to strike at him but upon hitting the shield, the thorns would activate and the backlash would cause the creature to take damage. The Second Ice Elemental would simply be frozen in place while the Third Ice Elemental would follow suit as the first was attacked and take the time to try and make its way around the shield but couldn't find an opening so would simply strike the shield and would also take its fair share of damage.

Lee found a bit of joy in the fact that the idea wasn't dismissed right away by the armored woman though she would state that they should prepare themselves should something happen and the ghost-like creature were to turn hostile. This was a fair and reasonable thing to assume and wouldn't have any grounds as to why he would disagree. "That's more than agreeable though it would be interesting if it is something." He would bring himself to a straighten posture as she would speak about him taking the lead and that she wasn't the best when it came to the conversing portion of things. He would nod his head in agreement and would break his cover so that he would have clear view of the ghostly apparition and would take his first couple of steps and aim to take the least threatening posture as one in his position could all the while, raising his free hand "Hey there miss, you doin alright?"

From the way that the armored female sounded, she wasn't one for the joys and festivities of things or maybe it was the area itself. Maybe she had heard of the maze-like area and as she stated, wished only for the experience rather than anything else. He could understand where she was coming from as not everyone had to enjoy everything about the game. As they moved forward through the maze, she would speak up about being a healing to which would actually surprise him a bit "Oh, that's nice to hear and I'll try and keep that in mind though I would also like to not need for you to bust out the heals in the first place." That was a pleasant surprise to say the least to hear that there were other people in the game that had a healing ability instead of focusing on the item aspect of things.

The tiny boar would continue to run from one side of the hedge to the other and only stop to sniff the leaves and upon hearing the screams, it would quickly run to the other side and repeat this motion. The trek would then take what felt like forever as the constant screams and noise of the area were becoming far more annoying than when they had first started. It was then that they stopped and a few moments later that the female player would turn back and speak of there being a creature up ahead but if they so chose, could aim to simply bypass the monster. Lee would lean over to seemingly get a better look and tilt his head to the side upon seeing the ghostly figure and that it held what one would assume to be a baby or small creature of some kind.

Lee would then answer "It looks kinda...sad? Should I feel sad? It is sad, right?" He would glance back to the armored woman "You wanna try and talk to it? It could be quest related...or a bonus?" He would then pause "Or a trap...or a normal monster. Either way, I've got no real quarrel with trying to move by but my curiosity has been picked. You?"

Lee would turn his attentions down toward the monster as it struck at him, while he did defend himself, his health would take a small blip as the damage would show. He would stand his ground though as he would notice that the effect of his shield would activate. Not only would the shocking effects of the sword go off but that of his shield would as well. He would reel back as Zero_Lost04 would swing in an attempt to strike but as he missed, Lee would aim to strike at the creature as well but for something that wasn't moving, it must be that he aimed to strike at where it was going to be because he missed as well. He would stare down at his sword in the sand and the sand scorpion in almost disbelief "Well isn't this a bit of a surprise." He would draw his sword back and look at it as if it was the problem.

The Sand Scorpion would stutter, not being able to move from the paralyzing effects it was now under but the bleed effect would cause it to take damage regardless of being hit by the blades as its health would further decrease.

Whilst the female player seemed less and less enthused about the current setup but in the end, was willing to let him in on the venture none the less. Lee would raise his sword up and let it rest on his shoulder as she would state what he would do once they were unable to move in which case he would nod his head affirmatively "That would be the plan though it would be nice to get myself a weapon that did have just the bleeding effect to maximize the passive aggressive nature of the tank class without just standing around." Lee wouldn't take any amount of time looking through his own inventory as he rarely had anything worth changing or checking. While this was nice in its own right, it would also be nice to have those sorts of situational items that he could switch between and actually do something.

It was then that he remembered that when he had the chance, to try and find a blacksmith and get himself some gauntlets in order to do some damage in that way. Maybe put bleeding onto them in order to maximize what it was he aimed to be. He would follow the female tank and upon passing the threshold, a loud screech would cross the air which would cause Lee to raise a pinky up and rub inside an ear "Well, this is gonna be awesome."

Lee would lean forward and rub the area behind his small boar's ear as a sort of treat or show good will toward the creature. He would take in a deep breath as he would look around to see if anything else would catch his eye but nothing of note would appear. Everyone seemed fairly interested in the wisp as a pet which in all honesty, was rather nice as otherwise, not much would come from the little venture they were on aside from small breaks in silence though, now he imaged Babette in a ghost-like form to which he would quickly shake his head and move it to the back, he had no idea idea why he would want that nor would he actually ever wish it. He had come to enjoy the idea of having such a simple familiar that one would actually have and now that he thought about it, he wondered why more people did not have such things. The entire time he was staring silently at Babette.

Lee could tell that he wasn't the particular type of person she wanted for the current job at hand though she would be willing to accept him anyway. She would go on to state that he could take the item for himself as she was aiming mainly for the points. Lee would laugh and look toward the maze as she would go on about him not having the appearance of a healing to which he would nod in agreement and then state that she was a tank as well. "No, no, I didn't mean I wanted to go for it right now, I'd rather do it on my own time but the experience would pleasant." He would then draw his sword from its sheath located on the back of his shield and then continue "I have bleed and paralyze on my sword so that could be useful for damage over time and..."

He would then tap the sword against his shield "...I have paralyze also on this with added thorns." He would then nod his head in the direction of the mazes start and continue "Though, I think with enough hits, it'd be nice to for them to crash against us till they die. Maybe freeze whatever we come across and poke it a bit."

Lee would look at that spot he had been wailing away on and saw significant change with just a couple of hits which caused him to remember how this was when he first tried and with those same number of hits, made no sort of change. He would listen as those around him spoke of guilds and how each person, depending on what it was they wished to contribute in their own way, would help another whom was stronger in one way or another. Whilst he liked the idea of forming a party to make up for a weakness, he was still on the fence about guilds. "I'm all for helping people for the most part but I don't like the idea of a guild centered around it. A simple party would do the same with no defining difference." He would reach back and throw his first forward to strike the boulder and then continue

"I feel there needs to be something else for a guild to have. Something that makes it different than another. Otherwise, you're making an oversized clubhouse that is a carbon copy of the one that came before and one that comes after." He would then give way to pause before looking to Vigilon "So, you wanting to take the last few hits yourself since it is your quest or....?" He wasn't even sure if they were able to make a final hit if it wasn't their own quest but even so, it'd be best to leave it low and Vigilon to do it.

Lee would watch the Sand Scorpion flail about and snap at anything that came close to which was neither of them at the moment which made him feel kinda sad. This was short lived though as there was nothing around it to actually attack. Zero_Lost04 would answer him, speaking that because he wasn't the most in terms of defense that he had to make sure that each strike made an impact and upon hearing him talking about beating them the old fashioned way, Lee couldn't help but laugh out load and nod his head in agreement "Hey, I got no problem with that. I can definitely get behind that logic. Oldie but goodie." He would then see Zero_Lost04 attack the monster once more, landing another blow against the creature. Lee would follow up by raising his sword high above him and letting it come straight down, the sword sparking upon connecting with the monster, blood appearing along the blade that hit the monster and seemingly infecting the creature and seeing this, Lee would smile "Yyyyyeeeessssss."

The Sand Scorpion would real back from another strike by the two handed blade and would skitter away from the attacker. It till aimed its hatred toward the plate armored man and when the man would attack, it would become enraged and use the closeness of the man to use both its tiny pincers to strike like a bolt of lightning. The strikes were countered by the shield of the armored man but the damage would seemingly blast through from the critical hit. The creature would pull its limbs back and take a defensive stance but it would soon begin to feel off.

The small boar would continue to be oblivious of its current surroundings, only taking note when a particularly loud scream would emit from the maze. The armored male player would only really be reminded of past Halloween events in the real world. While he did in fact enjoy the moments, he wasn't one for the scare most people went for and found himself more defensive and easily agitated. He would let his attention focus on the armored female as she would bring up Hoya to which he thought about for a moment. He remembered the quest and had planned on doing it himself before unsavory events prevented him from doing so. He would tilt his head to the side "Cool. Yes. No." He would bring his shield around and tap his plate chest. "I would still like to tag along if you don't mind. I've been wanting to scout out the maze for a future endeavor to get the same item."

Lee watched as Zero_Lost04 was laser focused on the task at hand and the defeat of the creature they had come across. This was defiantly an admirable quality that would surely only grow as his level increased. Lee would continue to keep his own guard up as Zero_Lost04 would launch a successful attack which he would let out a whistle "Well, when you get in that hit, you make sure that it counts don't cha?" He would say as he would turn his attentions down toward the monster and would raise his sword up and let it come down to strike after his partner and while it did in fact hit, it was nothing in terms of power and sadly, no after effects would follow up. "Well that is a bit disheartening."

The Sand Scorpion would recoil back as it was struck with a heavy blow from the swordsman and as it turned back to attack the armored man it would be struck again and though it wasn't with real force, it was enough to cause the monster to fall back and swing its head form one side to the other, its pincers clasping at nothing but air and opportunity but only hitting one of those things.

A small boar would bolt through the darkness, the light squealing would mark the piglet through the night. Not too far behind was a plate armored player that followed in the same direction. This was the owner of the familiar though it kept the habits of the typical animal which is one of the things that Lee enjoyed and disliked at the very same time. It kept things very grounded and as it was in the real world when one would own a pet of sorts. Though, he had taken a small leave of his home on the very same floor and as soon as he had put the familiar onto the ground, it made a beeline straight away from him.

While normally he would have simply demanded the tiny boar to stop as he had done plenty of times before, today he figured that an outing wouldn't be the worst and with no idea where he would have wondered otherwise, this was a happy accident. Though, he also wasn't quite sure when he should call it quits and with the sun seemingly gone and the area around him to have changed from what he was used too, he figured that it should be soon. That was until he heard the sounds of screams that one would hear coming from a haunted house. It was here that he would take note of a figure that his miniature boar would stop a few yards from to scratch the back of its ear with a hind hoof. Lee would move closer to the figure to find that it was a player and would raise a hand in a small greeting "Yo, you here for the haunted trail?" He would joke lightly about the sounds coming from the maze.

Lee would listen to her proposal of wishing to offer something else over the COl to which he would state simply "Then yo a*s came to the wrong store." She would then go on to talk about having to pay him to which he would nod his head affirmatively She would then offer a kiss along with the currency to which he would lean forward and give her a simple kiss and then look to the trade request and look it over before nodding his head "Yeah, everything checks out which is a bit surprising with you and math but who am I to judge." He would accept the request and send her the items for the Col to which he would deposit into his stores funds. "A pleasure doin business with ya miss."

The plate armored man would watch as the purple scorpion would shift its way across the sands in order to attack him. Though it would miss due to some unforeseen event to which Lee would let out a short but sudden laughter at the monster. He would look up to see Zero_Lost04 reading himself once more to strike the monster but this time, the landscape playing against him and causing another missed strike. "We still got this, ain't worried a bit. The sword can't be easy to swing on the current terrain." Lee would turn his attention at the monster once more though this he would be glaring down at it from a closer range. The energy would begin to flow once more and this time, the `Howl` would be aimed directly at the monster for good measure.

The Scorpion would shift to the side of the fallen blade that was aimed for it and while it knew of the blade, it was still focused on the plate armored man. It would bring its stinger back once more but as the man howled at it, the stinger would miss its mark from either the sudden roar or from the fright.

Lee would quickly turn his attention toward Piera as she would speak to him after his small stumble and would then go on to speak about if wished for some love to which he would give off a false laughter and a snarky appearance over his face. "Har-dy Har har." He would ready his sword once more but as Piera lunged to attack the ice elemental, she would land a hardy blow which he would let out a whistle in appreciation "Well lookie looky. Gettin all for cereal." He would, instead of attacking, let forth another `Howl` to make sure that even with her onslaught, they would still be focused on him more so than her. "You keep at it honey, give em hell."

The first Ice Elemental would be struck back by the lance that the brunette wielded but would aim to recover but as it it was ready to attack, another howl would cause it to focus on the tank. It would charge but would take damage from the bleeding effect once more which would cause it to miss its mark. The second Ice Elemental would be far luckier than its others as it would slam into Lee's shield and while it did bring in the damage, there was a recoil from the shield that would rebound onto the creature. The third Ice Elemental would attack there after but not wanting to strike the shield, it would slam into the ground at the man's side and miss him entirely.

Lee would draw his fist back but would turn his attentions toward a player whom would soon come to be known to him as Domarus to which he would agree. He would then go a bit into detail about how if someone would try to go through the game alone, they wouldn't get far to which Lee would nod in agreement "True that." Stryder would then attack the boulder once more, dealing a fair about of damage that, overall far more than the group as a whole. Lee would strike his fist once more at the boulder which was solid in its strike. Vigilon seemed very set on taking down the boulder and would talk about wishing to create a guild of his own. He would speak of the two current guilds in the game that seem to be at the forefront to which Lee would chime in "I wish you the best of luck with that. When you get that stuff put together, I'd like to check it out. I'm not much for the typical guild but would love to see what you put together."

Nocturn Has Accepted Lee's Trade

Lee would be pleasantly content that Nocturn had accepted the materials in which he would use to finish off the amount he needed to complete the quest. "Coolness, I await for the grand opening of your shop. Hopefully you get a lot of business, it'd be nice to have a friend in that line of work. Don't really know too many really good crafters aside from Piera." He would then turn his attentions toward his small female boar and snap his fingers and point downward at the ground in front of himself "Babette. Here. Now." He would say in a demanding and louder tone in which would cause the the boar to jump slightly at the loud call and come running and stop in front of him in order for Lee to pick her up, he would notice something in her mouth and pull it out to find it was another material to which he would pocket for himself.
