  1. I was glad to hear I hadn't upset her. She seemed to be relaxing a little more around me, which would really help in the long run. When she agreed to go hunting with me, I was even further relieved. It was extremely boring, and not to mention risky, hunting alone. I gave her a quick grin before turning and leaving the edge of the forest, heading towards the endless fields. Finding the Boars wasn't my only plan though. I had a surprise for Jevi...

I looked down upon the herd of Boars. There were a couple of stragglers on the edge, but they would have been too low level to get any loot. There was one rather beefy - or more so porky - Boar in the middle of the pack, and I unhilted Severance as my eyes zoned in on it. I began to bolt down the hill, Severance outstretched at my right.

As I approached the herd, I pounced into the air over the outer ring of Boars and spun around mid-air. I flipped Severance around in my grip as I passed over my target and I slammed her rear spike down into the Boar's head and pulled back, pulling the Boar with me. I landed on the ground in a crouched position and slammed it into the ground.

I glanced back up at Jevi and gave her a smile, my eyes telling her to follow.

  2. Everyone is so beautiful. I think SAO-RPG has the most beautiful people in it.

Alright. As I haven't taken many photos. I have dug quite deep to find these, and I even took one this morning for you guys. So be thankful x3

This one was taken this morning. I am on the left, and my friend is on the right. We met up at a nice event I went to.

    5yhQTyv.png

This one was taken while I was in college before the summer. I am with my roommate! I also like this one, because we had just celebrated her getting into a play. I am on the right. x3

This one is my favorite picture out of these three. Each ones have a different friend, but this was taken when I was on a vacation around a month ago. I really like it. We were snorkeling, and having a blast! I am on the right.

    0_0 You look absolutely stunning

  3. I watched as Xion missed the Boar by inches and shouted out our joke, basically, while a slash to the Boar from Russe was soon to follow. However, the Boar didn't seem very happy with being attacked, and, while Russe was finishing his follow-through, it charged him and impaled its rear. I raised a hand to my eyes as I heard a sort of yelp. That was going to do some damage.

I rushed at the now also distracted Boar and sunk Severance into its flesh before yanking it back out, the hook on the back tearing more of virtual flesh away. I stood back and looked over at Russe, "Careful, if you're not ready to take an attack, don't take the aggro. It should be pretty ticked off at me now, so you should be fine," I told him.

(You would have actually done 4 damage, as a 10 does +2 damage)

  4. Jevi sounded quite guilt-ridden when she mentioned meeting someone, and my head drooped slightly, "Oh... I'm... Sorry to hear that. Sorry if I upset you..." I apologized. The last thing I wanted was to make a girl feel bad. Silence followed, and I was hoping that some crickets would arrive to fill in the silence, but I was disappointed.

I knew the perfect way to break the ice further, "What do you say we go take out a bunch of Boars? And maybe some Wolves if we can find the good places?" I asked for both our benefit. I pushed down obviously on the handle of Severance at the back of my waist. Fighting something would be a good way to get to know each other. We learn the other's fighting style, reactions to situations, teamwork, we basically learn the other's personality through combat.

However, I was thinking I could even further that with a friendly duel...

  5. I was rather gobsmacked when Jevi spoke her mind about my smile. I flushed red and recoiled before replying, "W-well, I guess it's b-because I have no reason not to smile," I told her a bent truth. Bloody hell! Maybe this girl wasn't right to hit on! were the words running rampant in my mind. Of course, at this rate, telling her that I was smiling because she was a pretty girl would most like push her buttons even further.

In an attempt to break the ice, I spoke up again, "So, Jevi, how long you been here? Who have you met?" I asked, sincerely curious. She'd definitely been here long enough, as her skill with the scimitar wasn't too shabby.

  6. "Well, if we have a plan, then let's go! It'll be great to fight alongside Xion again, too," I thought out loud, not realising the words actually left my mouth. I pushed down on the handle of Severance and spun on my heel, heading off in the direction Xion was looking over. Xion and I had taken the virtual lives of two pigs down in those fields around three days ago. At least it felt that long.

I dragged my feet across the grass of varying tones. I gave a little unconscious smirk as I remembered the shameless joke that Xion and I had made about grass. I wasn't sure if he was okay with letting Russe in on the joke, but I didn't really mind if the newcomer had a piece of the pie.

I stopped around ten to fifteen meters from a herd of slightly higher leveled Boars. With Xion and I there, Boars with a range of eight to twelve HP should have been fine for Russe to fight, and not only that he might get some loot from his prey.

If worst came to worst I could easily have become the new guy's meatshield.

(Stats: Boar health ranges from 8 to 12, and they will only deal 1 basic damage. I have 13 HP rather than 15, as I was very good at maths when I asked for it to be edited. Anyone can initiate the battle, if Xion wants to do it first or let Russe engage)

  7. "Nice to meet you, Russe," I replied. The name sounded rather unfamiliar when it came out my mouth. It didn't feel right with my accent, "The name's Grave. I'm just hanging around, hoping something exciting will happen, but that has yet to come around," I told him. I turned to the fields further out, "You picked on a fairly weak Boar. That's not gonna get you any loot, you realise," I explained, "How about you come with me and I show you the thrills of a real Mob fight?" I asked, turning around and flashing him a sly grin.

  8. I watched as the girl quickly dispatched out opponent, activating a Sword Skill in the process. That was something I had completely forgotten about. Not once have I used a Sword Skill yet, because everything has seemed so realistic to me. You learn something new every day, don't you?

As the girl slipped her scimitar back into her sheath, I also sheathed my falchion behind me and approached her. I placed a hand on her shoulder, unsure if it would startle her, and gave her a smile coupled with a thumbs up.

"Good job! You seem pretty good at this!" I complimented her in my Brit accent before stepping back and extending my hand, "The name's Grave. Nice to meet you!"

  9. I took a step forward to provoke the Boar, and it instantly charged at me, I went to slash at it, but it ducked low and slipped under the arc of my silver blade. It aimed its tusks directly at my legs, and I managed to flick them upwards in time to bound over the raging pig, avoiding some possible leg shattering.

I landed in a crouched position behind it and we both spun around to look each other in the eyes. I looked away for a moment to glance up at the group I once had. Someone else had joined, but none were coming to help.

    I frowned in disappointment.

(Just trying to keep the thread active. I think at this rate we might want to set a posting order ^^; )

  10. I looked on as the girl seemed to build up her courage and take a strike at the Wolf, chipping away part of its health. I smiled at her as she took a more refined stance with her scimitar. She definitely had a lot of potential as a fighter.

She stepped back and I took position, waiting for the Wolf to attack. It dashed at me, jaws open, but it was swiftly intercepted by Severance. I stabbed the Wolf in the chest, my Falchion's hook on the back of the blade catching on the flesh as I went to pull it out. I yanked on my weapon and tore it out before the Wolf scampered to safety, whimpering. I threw a sidelong glance at the girl, a smile drawn across my face.

  11. I sat in the bough of the tree, looking over the seemingly endless fields full of Boars and the occasional prowling Wolf under the dusk sky. Three days I'd been in this death game, and I hadn't yet visited the higher floors. There were people clearing them for our sake for easy transit between them, and I hadn't even taken the gift we'd been given.

I watched a well-built man take out a Boar in one strike. Some weak Boar, I must say... I thought as I half-sneered. I stood up in my tree and slid my hands in my pockets as I dropped out, landing on the grass in a crouch before extending my legs and standing up, walking off towards the man I watched in the distance.

He seemed lost. He was obviously trying to look for something else to lay waste to with his blade. I approached him and gave him a tap on the shoulder before flashing a toothy grin and raising my hand in a small salute.

  12. I looked at the rather uncomfortable looking girl standing beside me. She seemed to be the opposite of me; not a people person. I knew I'd be able to break the ice between us, most likely through slaying the Wolf.

I charged the Wolf while it was busy watching the new girl, and it didn't get the time to react as I brought Severance across its throat, chipping away a fraction of its HP. I turned around to make sure the girl was watching, but...

That was a stupid move. I felt the jaws of the Wolf embrace my left ribs tightly as soon as I looked away. I jolted for a moment as I spun around to slash at the vice latched on my ribs, but it let go of its iron grip as my Falchion slashed the air in front of it.

Looked back to the girl behind me, "Your turn, Miss," I told her with a grin.

  13. I took a bite out of the bread I had yanked from my inventory. Believe me when I say it tasted like crap; it was so damn bland, and chewy to boot, so the tasteless taste (if that's even a thing) lingered for longer than desirable. Scoffing down the last of the bread, I felt some of it glued to my throat and pulled a bottle of water out of my inventory to flush it out. However, as I took the first sip, I saw a really (and I mean REALLY) pretty blonde walking by the fountain, and half the contents of the bottle spilled out onto my clothing. I mean seriously, that was the second time in two days I had spilled a bottle of water. I sculled the rest of the liquid and stood up to go see the girl, but my jaw dropped when I saw a familiar face approach her first...

It had been two days since I met Xion, two days since I fought alongside him, two days since I made a grass joke with him and two days since I duelled him and lost. Now he was stealing my chance at hitting on a cute girl. Quite the cockblock, I must say. I gazed on as the two waltzed out of the town of beginnings. Determined to at least introduce myself to the girl - and catch up with Xion in the process - I stepped out from the shade and followed them out to the infinite and luscious green pastures and fields.

  14. I eyed off the large, silver wolf with my grey eyes, Severance poised behind me in the usual backwards position. We'd been fighting for minutes already, none landing a hit on the other, teeth and claws against blade. The afternoon breeze teased my silver hair and the wolf's equally silver fur. Sword, hair, fur eyes - we may as well have been made out of metal.

The wolf bared it's teeth at me, drawing out a low growl, like wood being pulled over a knotted piece of string. I wish I could have growled like that, probably would have scared the bugger away, but that's another story. The beast bent low, poised to attack, before it perked up suddenly as it saw something behind me. I brought my Falchion in front of me in case the Wolf went for a sucker punch before I turned around and smirked at the figure standing there.

"Help me out, will ya?" I asked, keeping up the smile.

(Wolf will have 8 HP, so that we have a chance to get loot when we kill it)

  15. "I'd rather go in a pair, as I am led to believe that the quest can also only be done once," I replied to the man, who also seemed to be a Brit, "I'm not saying I don't want to work with you," I pointed my comment at the hulking man, "I'm sure you're a formidable fighter, but if we go in a three only one of us will get the skill," I finished. I turned on my heel and drew my sword out, holding it in the same backhand position, and I pushed off, aiming to engage first.

I approached the group of Boars at high speed - well, as high speed as you can get from just running down a hill - and aimed to take one out of the pack, but my blade only clashed against the Boar's tusks. I managed to force the pig back out of the pack and I broke off from it, ready to slay the beast.

(Staying at level 4 for now, until we take out the Boar)

  16. "Umm..." I pondered, my hands on the back of my head, before turning to Xion, "I might actually go explore some other places, you know? Meet new people and all," I told him. We still had ages left in the day, so I thought I might be able to at least find someone in that time.

I turned away from Xion before remembering something. I spun back around on my heel to face him and swiped my index and middle finger downwards to open my menu. I proceeded to the friends list and threw Xion's name in, sending him a friend request. With a grin, I turned back around and began to walk off, "Shoot me a message if you need anything," I told him over my shoulder as I waved him goodbye.

  17. Weapon Type: One Handed Curved Sword

    Name: Severance

    Rank: Uncommon

    Enhancements: +1 DMG

    Thread: Sounds Fun!

Description: Severance takes the form of a large Falchion, with small hook at the back of the tip. The guard's arms go in opposite directions, the front pointing down and covering the hand while the rear points up to catch blades at the back of the sword. The handle is wrapped in a scarlet leather with black dots up the front and back. The pommel resembles the talon of a bird of prey.

I sure as hell hope I'm doing this right...

  18. I watched as Xion cleaved into the living dinner, taking away a large chunk of its health, before it turned around and made a final stand by pummelling its attacker with its huge tusks.

I accepted Xion's offer to finish it while he had it there. I took one step with my right foot and swung the longsword around in a large arc, the blade connecting with the neck of the boar. I cleaved through the neck and all the way down to the hip, ripping it out of the pig's rear end and causing it to shatter into thousands of blue shards. I glanced down at my downed ally and have him a smirk as I reached a hand down to help him up.

A menu popped up in my vision; it displayed an item I received for defeating the boar. Severance, it's name was, and it was a one handed curved sword with a damage enhancement. My eyes lit up in glee as I went into my inventory to equip it- but it was only available at level 5. I could feel my face fall as realisation dawned on me.

  19. As the boar backed off after Xion's attack, I took my chance to deal another blow, not leaving it an opening to do much more than a few butts and scratches. Once Xion had backed of I rushed in, chose a spot and thrusted the tip of my blade in, plunging it through to the other side of the pig. I raised my foot to the creature's side and kicked at it, sliding it off of my blade and sending it sprawling. I calmly turned back to Xion.

"Looks like we really do have a blessing now. Haven't missed a single hit, eh?" I commented with a smirk, waiting for Xion to make his move.

  20. I nodded as Xion began to explain the pros and cons of the weapons. It wasn't really anything I didn't know, but it's always good to revise what you know.

I watched him dash towards the boar and rip into it faster than I could say 'fight'. I let a small chuckle escape my mouth as the boar very swiftly retaliated. I drew my longsword and charged the bastard as Xion stepped out of the way. I dragged the entire length of the edge along the left flank of the boar and used what was left of my momentum to get out of the way and ready for a retaliation.

  21. "Yeah, I wanna try and get something that'll help me hit things," I told him, scratching the back of my head. My face turned slightly bland for a moment, "In fact, it's cool and all to lug around a gigantic sword, but I'm thinking of possibly getting something lighter and maybe with a kind of curve to it... I noticed that Katanas are a locked skill, so those and two handed curved blades are out of the question... But I wouldn't mind something like a scimitar," I rambled on, before grinning again, "Well, I guess it's just all luck of the draw!" I began to stroll down the hill towards the large pigs. I looked up into the still blue sky.

What was happening in the real world at that moment? What was happening to our bodies? Were we all still in our rooms, possibly dying? Or had we been moved to hospitals?

It was at that moment I remembered; when I first arrived a left all my Japanese friends behind. We dived together, but I forgot about them and ditched them as soon as I saw the beauty that was Sword Art Online. Where would they have been at the time? Were they still in the Town of Beginnings? Fighting monsters? Were they on the higher floors? Or maybe...

    Were they dead?

  22. I let Xion pull me up, and I replied again to his apology, "Look, man, it's alright! I totally understand, I know people can take realistic things like this seriously," I told him. Seriously, if he went on any further I'd have had to bloody scold him or something. I turned to look out over the grasslands where Boars still roamed around, however very few strayed far from the pack.

"Say, when we get our health back, wanna go test our new blessing on another oversized pig?" I asked with a wink.

(Also, I'm still level 3 in this thread, as I started another while I was level 3 that takes place after this)

  23. I felt my eyes quiver as Xion's blade slashed across my chest, before coming in heavily onto my shoulder. I felt my health drop considerably, obviously below half. I panted heavily as I dropped to the ground on all fours, sword grip trapped under my right hand. How did Xion get so powerful so fast? One moment I was ducking and weaving around his movements, next minute I have a blade stuck halfway through my shoulder. Xion's power was amazing; especially when fuelled by rage.

I heard my comrade apologize and I looked up at him. I sat up on my knees and sheathed my sword behind me before swinging my right arm around to point towards Xion in a request for assistance, a content smirk on my face.

"I believe the grass... found it's chosen one," I joked between raspy breaths.

  24. I saw Xion bring his sword down on me, and I barely managed to place my foot behind me in time to raise my sword and block it, sending some quite unpleasant vibrations into my hand. As Xion pulled back, I pushed in, clashing the flat of my sword against his, pushing up against him and putting my face right up close to his, an adrenaline-fuelled grin playing across my lips.

"The grass seems to be giving you a bit of a handicap now," I taunted as I pushed him back further across the grass.
