Red barely had time to walk into the door before Ebony was already done, with some weird laugh. "What's so funny???" Red chuckled a bit, but the reason was not exactly clear. "Okay, so what are we looking for???" Red knew what he was supposed to go kill, the Dark Elf. But the way the quest worded it, it was as if there was something else he needed to do. "So we gotta go beat up some Dark Elf with 12 HP???? Sounds pretty easy. Let's go do it!" Red began to walk out of the town, towards the gate. He had a general idea of what the floor monsters were, and where they were at, through the help of the guidebook the beta testers had supplied. He had spent his time reading that before he actually left floor one, so he knew where this Dark Elf is. "So, what have you been up to???" Red smiled.

(Me too.... lol... same situations.)

Red went to look around for materials. The boars... Yah. They were chewing, "teething", on grass. But hey, that's just what they do. Red continued to look around the plain for any plant that could have anything that could be valuable in tea, or coffee, or any kinda herbs that could spice up chicken, or maybe spices for bread. Red continued to look until he found a little green flower, that looked like it could be used in such. Red picked it up, examining it. But the flower was molding and Red through it back onto the ground where it was. "eeeewwwwww!"

Red happily waved back to Ebony. He could've checked her location via his friends list, but that would be rather stalker-ish to do something like that. "Hey, Ebony!!!! What are you up to????" Red smiled as he retured the wave to Ebony, and he knew how awesome this quest was gonna be. Red quickly sent her a party request, since he couldn't wait to get started. "Well? You wanna get going???" Red said. Then he walked up to the door, was about to walk in when he stopped and held the door, saying "Ladies first." Red didn't have to be the one to talk to the NPC that way. It's pretty boring speaking to NPC's. Red let out a small laugh as he waited for her to go in.

(OOC: Another quick post. Been real busy of late. XD)

But Red refused to leave Rag's side. "Rag, these boars could and will 1-hit KO you on a critical!!!!!! You need to let me stop this one then we both need to stop fighting these boars and go collect materials or something!!!!!" Red looked at the boar across from him, and then activated <<Reaver>> as he charged at it with a vertical slash, dealing a total of 6 damage. The boar poofed into crystals. "Rag, what happened to material collecting??? We're gonna die out here!!!! Most level one players that go out and fight mobs DIE! And you could've just died right there, if I hadn't been here. So let's go mat collecting."

Red had heard of a few players getting armor at this shop and accepting a quest to get some easy materials for the armor, then you get some SP. and the monster you get the material from is an easy as heck one, with only 12 HP. The amount Red had. "Let's do this!!!!!'  Red PMed Ebony.

And that was the gist of the message. Just making sure she knew he was waiting for her. Red leaned on the side of the wall by the blacksmith shop, waiting for Ebony. As Red watched, there were actually many players... Players who were just beginning... Taking the quest. Surely it would not be hard for the two of them. Red was just eager for the SP, is all. Red waited for Ebony, who had not taken the quest either before, so this time they would both get the two SP.

The master NPC Armorsmiths Griswold, and his wife Hanna, have opened his services to new players of SAO a custom armor shop. He takes orders for no price, but instead asks for materials. That's right. YOU, the player, have to tell Griswold what kind of armor you want. He'll give you the material names and how to get them, and it's up to you to retrieve them.

Entering the shop on Floor 3, you encounter a surly smith and his loving wife. After describing the type of armor you desire (Cloth, Leather, Light Metal, or Heavy Metal) Griswold works with you to determine the right type of material, before sending you on your way to collect the needed materials. Upon returning with the correct materials in the proper quantities, Griswold and Hanna will create your very own set of Uncommon Armor. These materials can be found from fighting a dark elf in the Forest of Wavering Mists.

Requirements:

-At least two [2] Pages (21 or more posts)
-Defeat Dark Elf

Red turned back to the sound of a female speaking to him. "Ah, neither did I expect to see you here!!!!" Red said. "What quest??? The Secret Medicine of the Forest one??? Yah! Sure am!!!!!" Red replied to her. "Why else would I be in a run-down village like this???" Red smirked at his attempt to be funny. Red then looked to Ayumu, and then said: "Hey we should do this together!!!!" Red simply sent a party request, and not even waiting to see if she came with, he headed to where the NPC that was to give them the quest was. Red walked up to the house, knocked, and was almost simultaneously the door was open by a female NPC. The NPC invited them both in and asked Red if he would like some water. "Umm... Sure!" As the NPC took water to both Ayumu and Red, he could hear the sound of a child coughing in the background. The NPC began to talk about her daughter, and sickness, and blah blah blah. Red pretended to be listening until she got to the part about the Little Nepents, where Red actually leaned in to hear more.

She started talking about how some of these <<Little Nepent>> have a flower blooming atop of their mouth, and that that could help her heal her child. Red acccepted the quest for the <<Little Nepent's Ovule>>, then looked over to Ayumu. "Well? You coming with?"

Red knew the name Tristan. Tristan Delaney. The guy he wanted to fight beside on the front lines someday. But the other guy..... Calrex was his name...... Red had not heard much of him.... But he knew he recognized the name from somewhere... On one of the news things of SAO..... Hey, but that didn't matter at the time. Red turned his attention back to the girl, shaking his head really fast. Clearing the thoughts. "So, ummm, where'd you found the Ebony charm you have in your hair??? It is really pretty." red began to look around, to see if there were any mobs approaching the two of them. Red saw the type of look Manta had given him. She obviously saw what  Red was doing, and sent him a little message through the way her look was. It ain't gonna work. But the problem is, Red didn't exactly care if it worked or not. Red still wanted to be her tank, and to be her friend, and to go on quests with her. That was what he wanted... All that he wanted was that. and that was it. Pretty soon Snowfrost town came into view and Red has happy to see it. He was running out of things to ask Ebony. "So, what quest should we do next????" The smile Red had on his face was huge.

Red cautiously looked at the boars, knowing one mistake could be the end. Then he charged in, activating Reaver, a curved sword sword art, as he ran. "Die, pathetic little boar!!!!!!!!!" Red slashed a vertical cut at the boar. The slash went right through the boar, as it poofed into tons of tiny crysrals. Red had one shotted a boar. "Yaaassssssss!!!!!" Red looked at the loot screen. He had obtained: 1 Material and a Low Mitigation Potion. That made him happy. "Hey rag, get that other one over there! Kill it!!!!"

Red then looked to Ebony, the cute one of the two with the cute charm in her hair. "Wanna walk back to town with me??? It feels nice hanging with you, and I don't want to be attacked on this high of a floor, so....."  Red made some kind of excuse to hang with the cute girl named Ebony. "So, Ebony, tell me more about yourself. What's it like, being a healer???? Is there a lot of skills for support??? Too little? In the beginning, you know, I thought of becoming a support. But then due to the lack of skills in the support area, I decided I wanted to be a tank instead. There is only like one tank on the front lines, and I feel they need me up there. I don't know how much they need a support, but it never killed anyone to have an extra one up there!!!! Maybe we could be on the frontlines someday....." But then Red realized maybe she didn't want to be on the front lines. "Only if you wanted to though.... See, that's where I wanna be someday. I wanna be at the top at some point. Don't you???? I stay up to date on this type of thing. I know the top people's names and unique skills and stuff. I know I can be up there someday."

Red continued looking around at the flowers until he saw a beautiful pink and purple one, and when Red searched his material book he found it could be used in making a killer herbal tea. So he tried with this flower too. He carefully pulled it out of the ground, and began to examine this flower as well. But this time, the flower made a congratulations screen pop up right into Red's face, and he had recieved the material. Maybe Red could be a cook???? That didn't sound half that bad of an idea.

Red just kept walking until he saw another flower. He hoped this one wasn't bug infested, but, he could not tell from looking at it that way. He picked it up, hoping nothing decided to crawl up him, and then pulled the leaves open a bit. Could this one actually be the valuable flower I've been looking for???? YAY!!!!!  Red examined the flower more closely, hoping it would actually have any worth to him. But nope. It was not as bad as last time though. This flower was not crawling with bugs, it just molded on the inside and it only showed a bit on the outside. Not much better than the bugs Red had been seeing. He threw the flower down and continued searching.

Red held the potion in his hands and read the description carefully. This incredibly potent alchemical salve can be applied to a piece of armor, increasing resistance to Fire Damage for one battle. [The wearer will only take half damage from the burning damage over time effect]. It seemed like an okay potion for a tank to have, resistance to fire damage, but not the best. But Red looked back up at Manta, staring awkwardly again. "Th-Th-Thank you!!!!" Red tossed the potion around, fiddled with it a bit, and then put it into his inventory. His Battle Ready Inventory. "So, ummm.... Do you two mind if I add you to my friends??? I want to be able to find you guys again, and fight again with you two.... When I'm stronger.... So...... What do you say???" Red sent a friend request. "So what are you girls up to next??? MInd if we do some more quests together???? I would prefer we not do <<The Wasp Queen>> quest yet, I want to save that so I can prove myself once i become a better tank.... But do you guys want to do anymore quests with me???? It would mean a lot." And it really would mean a lot to Red if they did. Red slashed his Cupid's Arrow around for a bit, then started to speak again. "We could always do any of the quests listed, any of them that are easy enough... Even like the ones that grant items I don't even need, like for instance, Worn out Welcome and The Secret Medicine of the Forest. I do need to get Earning a Living done, if you two want to tag along...."

Red stood behind with his sword at the ready for if the field boss decided to go after him. But he simply had his mouth and jaw wide open, gaping, as he witnessed Manta's beautiful sword art going. The three hits. They were just three, but they were huge. Light sparks of light shown as Manta hit her colored shining sword on the enemy, dealing tons of damage as Red just stared in awe. Made Red wonder what other front liners could do, and if Manta was/is a front-liner!!!! But anyways, if Manta was able to land another hit, Red was pretty sure the monster would be defeated. Then Red decided he would jut sit on the side and cheer on Manta and Ebony, instead of wasting his own life for no reason. Because Red knew that if he got hit, it would be instant kill for him. But that was not true for Ebony or Manta. Ebony had taken a huge hit from <<Avalanche>>. But yet, it did not seem to deplete her HP all that much. And Red would die if he got hit. What type of a tank was he???? Not a real one, at least. Not one that could absorb any damage without dying. "Common, Manta! Common, Ebony! Get em'!"

Red was a bit scared of fighting mobs, but seriously, what could go wrong???? Especially in an easy battle like this. It would be a good chance for Red to show he was getting close to being ready to become an expert tank. Red equipped his Tier Three Armor, as well as Aegis and Cupid's Blade. Cupid's Blade sure was a masterpiece, and it came from a cool event boss.... Just it came while Red was hiding in the town of beginnings. Some player who had previously owned <<The Dragon Smithery>>  gave Red all of his items, and this curved sword said in it's description it had came from the event boss <<Cupid>>. Just Red wished he hadn't had been such a baby and hid in floor one. It had messed his whole chances up of being a frontliner. But Red knew he could still catch up if he went fast enough. As far as Red had heard, there was only one or two tanks on the front-lines, and one had a super cool tank unique skill, that Red kinda wished he had had the chance to get his hands on. But now Red needed to catch up to them. Red sent Rag a party request and continued walking, right out of the gate into the plains of floor one. I can, and I will, become stronger!!!!!!

Red was fine with that. But Red did not want to die here.... He thought back to the stats of the monster he had seen on the description of the quest.

Man....This thing has like 25x the HP I have.... And it's damage would cut right through my mitigation and kill me, if I attempted to fight, much as well if I tried to tank.....That sucks...... Maybe, if Ebony and Manta are able to hang on to the monsters attention, I could land a hit or so...... Or not. Either or. But I can't let them see how weak I am. I will fight if I see an opening, and just keep going from there. I need to do this quest so I can get some SP and become a better tank. 

"Okay! Sure! Let's go!" Red started to walk off in some direction, he was not exactly sure which, but then turned around. "Ummm..... Which way do we go???" Red stared at Manta for a moment, then looked towards Ebony... Her hair.... It was beautiful. She also had some sort of cute item in her hair, and when Red examined a bit closer, it seemed it was a piece of Ebony wood. Well no duh ebony is her favorite type of wood. It matches her name!!!! But as Red continued to look at her, the more he thought she was just amazing. "So... Ummm... Which way????" Red saw he was staring at Ebony and quickly turned away, making it rather awkward. But really, Ebony was one of the prettiest things Red had ever seen. Red scanned the surroundings around them. There weren't very many players in site. There was an NPC sitting in front of a stand, a player group of five players, and another group of three players hanging out, and then there was Manta, Ebony, and Red. The three weirdest but most perfect combination ever, was what it would be someday..... someday, maybe..................

Red arrived in Snowfrost town. He was there for two reasons. 1 reason was to do a quest with two higher leveled female players, a DPS damage dealer and a support healer,  to help me get SP for being a tank, and number two reason was to cool down a bit. The heavy armor he wore was very.... warm, let's just say. Warm and heavy. Red began to look around Snowfrost for the two girls who were wanting to do the quest with him, but at the same time he had the quest pulled up on his HUD.It would normally  have been too hard for Red to accomplish and even fight in the battle with the boss, but the support healer, Ebony, had told him he could sit out this one, and then receive the reward anyways. Seemed logical, and a fast and quick way to level. But Red only wished he could help them....

Manta Gual was a DPS dealer. She was the primary one who would be attacking. Ebony was a support healer. She could be healing Manta as she fought. Then all they need is a tank, which could be Red, if only he was a higher level........... Red continued to read down on the quest, finding the Snowfrost Potion, which could be good for tanks, and then the three skill points that could be a reward to help rank up mitigation and shield skills, as well as hate skills.  The skills that will make him a tank, a real one. A relliable one, unlike the one he was gonna be in this mission, the one that sat out.

Red continued to look for them, until he spotted out two female players discussing something. In his head, out of nowhere, Red knew for sure it was Ebony and Manta. casually, Red walked up, but then he saw how pretty one of the girls was........ "Are... .Are you guys Manta and Ebony???" Red cleared his throat. "I'm ready to go on the quest!"

I did too. Only got to about 35 minutes though XD Haven't watched the whole thing, just up to the floor 74 boss fight.

Red continued to walk through the forest, examining each little plant for any sign of a material that could be kept. There were plenty materials there to be found, but it must've been that Red wasn't looking in the right spots. He continued to look through the plants,  but without much luck. But Red would not give up. Even though he already had twenty-five materials, he still needed to keep collecting. As Red continued to look, he would not stop. Soon enough, he examined a different flower. This flower seemed to have some sort of sparkle inside of it, something that made it different from all the rest. I wonder, could this have some sort of material or secret in it??? Red picked it up and began examining it. But once again, this plant was crawling with ants and bugs. I should probably go somewhere else to look... Red walked far out into the distance, and just kept walking, until he came across a fishing pond.

Red walked away, towards a more leafy area of the plains. As you walked more into the more leafier area, it soon became an even more leafier one. Then it had so much plants and vegetation growing that it was a forest. But there was nothing wrong whatsoever with forests, just the fact that they are spooky sometimes, especially when you decide to go in All Alone. Red kinda started to wish he had brought someone with him, but no. He knew he had to be brave. As Red looked around at the plants, he stopped by one that had some seemingly valuable thing inside. Red pulled out the plant, to see what was in it. But as Red turned the flower around, there was bugs sitting on the inside of the flower and ants climbing up and down like crazy, in panic. Immediatly(out of panic too) Red through down the flower. It was no good. Then Red continued walking.
