  1. Anise herd someone enter her cave and when she looked up she spotted Zandra. She was here to place an order for appraisal. Anise looked at the transaction. Fifteen tries."Im right on it Sis." She said with a smile. For the Col she got she bought eleven two handed straigth swords. The first half  dozen was a total waist. They was just that, good quality. The rest turned out better. She had to try a couple of times, but they turned out to have an hidden enchantments each. So when she was done, she had four uncommon and as Zandra said, she sold them straigth into the junk shop, giving her some of the spent Col back together with some experience. When she looked at her rank, she saw she now was rank four. Only one rank left to max out her proffesion.

  2. Anise saw Zandra enter the cave. She had with her alot of items. Thou she was here to sell everything, no appraisal today. Thou she got a few experience for each item sold in the junk shop. But she wanted to do some appraisal today. She saw that she had three materials from her latest adventure. So she picked them out and bought some items from her own store. Two of the items, a one-handed straigth sword and a light armour had hidden enchantments, but the third item, another one-handed sword became locked. Well, a little more experience and two uncommon items. Okay daily work.

    Anise herd someone entering her cave. She looked up and saw no one less then Macradon, and just as she thougth, he was here with another delivery of items for her to appraise. Her eyes got wide open when she saw the ammount of items he dropped off.''Oh my oh my. Now I have work to do for awhile. I'll keep in touch when Im done. Bye.'' she turned around and started to work straigth away. She bagun with a quick inspection of the swords. She could immediatly tell that five of them was just good quality, there was no hidden enchantments in them. Then four she thinked looked enchanted, but she couldnt tell what enchantments with just a quick inspection. Thou two of them had a faint red shine over them. She immediatly recognized it as the damage increasing enchantment. Thou they was only uncommon quality, so she would be able to try them again. Then the two last one had bleed and accuracy on them.

    For next step she was checking their weight. It didnt gave any more information except that one of them was just good quality. For her third try she took a closer look at the metal the blade was made off. From that she could tell another one was just good quality, but the others was maybe hiding some good enchantment. And she was right. After hitting them ligthly, she could tell that there was another with damage increased chance. Ater a quick look under the microscope, she could tell the other was able to deal bleeding to the enemy.

Statistically, its like one of hundredtwenty.'' she said and smirked at him.(OoC: Then you look at the Loot die, and depending on what kind of item, weapon armour etc, you compare to the template in merchant proffesion description).''Then you just send the item to the evaluation office and wait for it to be accepted. And thats it. I dont think Ive missed something. Questions?''

  6. Anise had sent away cloak for evaluation and now she had got it back. She walks up to the blonde boy.''Here is both your items. I cant do anythiing more on them sadly since both are locked. Thou I found that this cloak, it actually have the enchantment Savvy on it. Makes it more likely you gonna hit your opponent whenever he miss you. So it works perfect together with evasion that already was on it.'' she explained and reached over the light armour with a smile on her lips. It was folded together in a perfect square, looking like it in the real world had come right out from the package.

    A young blonde enters her cave that she uses as a shop. He seems very energetic and runs around, looking at the bookshelf and her appraisal tools. Then she hands her two items and three materials.''Well, I think I should be able to check these in about... ehm... an hour maybe two. So thats if you wanna wait or return tomorrow, your choice.''

  8. ''Maybe I should explain the custom shop more detailed. Ehm, you can buy anything there, thou from other players. You write what it is you wanna buy and how much you wanna pay for it. Then if a customer drops by and have that item, he can sell it to you. It also works the opposite way. If you have an item you wanna get rid off, but not throw in the junk shop, you can place it in the custom shop. Then if a player drops by if he wants it, he can buy it. In both situations, you decide the price. There could always be a little negotiation as a merchant, be ready for that.'' the last she said with an added smile.

    ''So, about appraisal. Yeah perfect cant go any higher, so there is no point in appraising them. When you appraise it, there is three possible results. Either it got locked, which make it so you cant appraise it again ever. And the quality change from example Rare to Rare<locked>. There is no need to place those items for evaluations.''she took a pause to let the information sink in.''The second result is retry. Then you didnt found anything just like in locked. Thou you can try to appraise it again. But both results still consume a material. The third result is what you want to get, a success. Then you find some useful information about it that reveals it had more enchantments then the user thougth. And then its at that result it increase in quality. You get it?'' she said with a friendly tone in her voice.

But that is also the hardest one. To go from the basic. First of all, you need an item to appraise. It can be any kind of armour, weapon or shield. When you make a succesfull appraisal it increase in quality. A good one turns umcommon, uncommon turns rare and rare turns perfect. That means you can apprais perfect items since they cant go up in quality. Also, for each try, you gonna consume one material. You hanging in there this far?''

Also if you have any questions just ask."she took a minute to look thru what a merchant can do so she wouldnt miss anything."Oh right, the junk shop."she looked up at him."At the junk shop you not gonna make alot of money probably. There you sell items back to the system. Or in other words delete them. When you sell them you get some Col. Then you decide how much of the Col the customer will get. Like the customer gives me a rare. I delete it for 200 col. Then I give back 150, making a 50 Col profit. Same as general store. The more you give thr customer the less profit. But too high profit makes them not gonna come here and sell it. Everything good this far?"

Well that only future could tell.''Well, the most basic a merchant has is access to the general store.'' she walked over to her Workbench and picked up a paper. Then she walked back to Zeri.''Here is a list of all items you can sell in your shop compared to your rank. Also, under it says Merchant fee and Customer cost. Merchant fee is how much it COSTs for you to buy it from the NPC general store. Then the second where its only an 'X'. There is the price your customers needs to pay for the item. Then you keep the difference. For example. A customer want to buy an antidote potion from you. For you it gonna cost 1,000 Col. Then you youreself decide how much the customer needs to pay. If you choose to sell it for 1,001 Col, you gains 1 Col profit. If you sell it for 1,500 Col you gains 500 Col profit. If you sell it for 5,000 you get 4,00 Col profit. So the higher prices you take the more profit you make. Thou if the prices are to high, you wont get any profit at all since no one gonna buy your items. Is Everything clear thus far?''

  12. Anise was first gonna say no to the man. She didnt wanted any competion on the market. Thou she almost owned the market as a merchant. But there wuld Always be fun with someone to talk about merchant related stuffs with that other players wouldnt understand. Also the other merchant had disapeared and she didnt knew if she would be able to handle Everything on her own. She also Always liked to help Another player if she could.''Of corse I'll help you.'' she said and gave him a friendly smile.''So, so you know anything at all about how to be a merchant or shall we go from the very basics? I not mean to question your knowledge, just wondered so I wouldnt teach you something you already know, if you get what I mean.''

  13. Zandr herd someone enter her Cave that was placed right outside of the safe zone. Thi to give access for playerkillers as well as giving regular players feeling at least a Little safe. A few momets later she herd a male voice. She came into the room with rouch stone walls and barely any furnitures at all. Her Workbench took up a large part of the room, then some stationary Tools and Bookshelfs to find information about different materials and ways that other have created items to enchant them with differetn traits. The short red head walked up to the male, looked up at him with a smile.''Im here. Can I help you with something mister?''

  14. She saw the man that have given her a total of sisty materials to use in her crafting. He had also dropped of quite alot of items for her to appraise. It was thanks to him she had already hit rank Three merchant. And she wasnt tha far from becoming to the fourth rank.''Hi there. Sadly you got no unique. Thou there was only one that got locked,and trust me thats not often. I will just go back and get your items.'' she walked bak behind a sheet. A few minutes later she came back with eight demigreaves. ''So, one of them is still rare and the other have the enchantments on the list. You canrename them if you want so its possible to seperate them from each other.''

  15. A blonde man entered Anise's shop. She had started to become pretty famous, since this was a man she had never seen Before.''Hi. She placed the whip on her Workbench. She started by inspect what material the whip was made off. It seemed to be from a snake which skin would make someone bleed by barely touching it. She decided to go closer and placed it under her microscope. Then she saw that the skin was covered with some kind of poision. She took forth a book and looked thru it. She stopped when she came to the page with snake poisions. She licked the whip with the tip of her tongue. Then looked in the book. If beeing striked by something covered in it the target would be unable to move for a short time. She closed the book.''Here, it seemed like it dose not only give increased damage. If you crit with it your opponrnt both starts to bleed and beeing unable to move for long enough for you to make Another attack. Hope your satisfied.'' she reached over the whip with a smile on her lips.

    Word from the Information Brokers speaks of a hidden respawning Field Boss on Floor 4. A small party reported having farmed the <<Ice Elementals>> found throughout the Tundra awakened a hidden Field Boss in the form of a giant <<Ice Elemental>>. This monster, identified as <<Avalanche>>, proved to be a dangerous opponent for the relatively low leveled party, and dropped a powerful Alchemical Concotion.



    Requirements:

     

    -At least two [2] pages of Rp  (21 or more posts)

    -Avalanche must be defeated

    -Maximum Party Size of 3

    -Repeat completions will only yield <<Snowfrost>>

     

    Avalanche Information:

     <Avalanche> is a respawning Field Boss and has the following statistics:

    1. <<Snowfrost>> This incredibly potent alchemical salve can be applied to a piece of armor, increasing resistance to Fire Damage for one battle. [The wearer will only take half damage from the burning damage over time effect]

    Anise wondered what they was gonna do next. After all, they shouldnt just sit here slacking off when they could head out to level up. From the last quest she had increased her sword art rank to the second. Now she had access to even stronger sword arts. A smile appeared on her face, she imagined when the day was gonna come when she grandmastered it. Then she had access to the most powerful AOE in Aincrad.''So Zandra, what are we gonna do now? You probably know what quest we should take?''

  17. The two Girls was Walking from the warp gate in the safe zone to the outer parts of the Town. When they was at the border, they only had to go a Little bit further to reach her shop. She wanted to be availanle to plaayer killers, but she still wanted to be as Close to the safe zone as possible, just in case. Her shop wasnt much more then a Cave. About two-three meters tall. At the entrance about two by two meter opening. Inside it opened up in one larhe room ten by ten meter. She had everrything in the same room. Only large sheets seperated it into something at least a Little similar to rooms.

  18. Anise followed the black haired younger woman while she headed back to Town. They had decided to go back to her, Anises shop instead of Zandras. It seemed like Zandras was on the fourth floor, where it Always was snowing and was Cold. Anise took a sigh of relief when she told her that. She had never been a big fan of Cold weather. The best thing with the Winter holdifays when going to the Mountains to do some skiing, was the after-ski.     Time to try to appraise some more. Anise had got quite some materials from Zandra. And with all this material and col, she should be able to make an armour with unique enchantments. Anise walked over to the workbench and placed the black heavy armour that the noirette had bought before she exited the cave. And now Anise would see if she could find any unique enchantments, or any enchantments at all. She started with measuring it, height, weight, width and so on. Then she wrote al down on a chart. Next, she compared the chart with her previous appraisals to see if she could read out something from that. When she did, she got very, very surprised. This piece of armour had a much higher heat capacity. Actually, the value must mean this armour was something special. Like, rely special. Anise got exited and went to next step. She placed it on a dummy she had when trying different sinister actions. So she placed the armour on the dummy. Then she picked up her greatsword. Then she activated her weakest sword art against the armour. She screamed when she felt a heat like from a flame flowing over her and she fell backwards several meters. Even if it damaged her, this was a good sign. It meant that this armour had some offensive powers. Next, she would see if that was all, or if it had any defensive powers as well. She removed the armour and inspected the dummy. It seemed it was almost unharmed. Anise nodded smiling, she had succeded with her first unique enchantment.

  21. When the last crystals have disapeared into nothingness, Zandra complimented her for beeing a great swordsman. Hopefully she would become strong enough to pay her back some day. She didnt play as a support. But what Anise could tell she had several skills invested in damage as well. And her amrour gve her enough damage mitigation to be able to work as a tank. She smiled at the red eyed female she had started to learn more and more. She was sure they would have many great adventures in the future together.
