  1. He kept searching throughout the tent as he listened to what Hunie had to say, only to smile wide at the new nickname he was given by the young lady. He flashed Hunie Butter a thumbs up as he laughed a bit. "Hell yeah, now you've got it! I can tell we're gonna be great friends." Speaking of great friends, his very first friend-- fan, Kranzer, came into view soon after. It was nice to see that the crew was coming together. "Heya, Kranzy! Glad you could make it here safely. A new pair of hands is always useful." He looked around the tent a bit more to try and find any more materials, but he just wasn't having any luck. Mentally giving up on the search for the time being, he looked over to his two friends with a bright smile. "So, we're just gonna wait on Takkles, or what~?"

  2. Dynaon drew his blade once more on the boars that threatened to kill them, beginning to run around as he slashed and hacked at their number. He managed to hit two of them, but his damage was barely doing anything to them. They all attacked him twice, once landing all sorts of crits on him.. but the next, they would all fall to the suit of armor he wore. He was powerful, and his health was regenning every single time he was hit. He could grind this all day.

  3. Either way, he decided to hit the Boar again with his blade, causing its health to go downward just a bit more. However, it wasn't enough. Now they were pissed off. The boars rushed for him and landed yet another wave of criticals, but it still wasn't enough damage to bring the Immortal King down. He was able to survive due to his armor. "Ha, is that all you got?!"

  4. The boars seemed to be standing still for him, so he decided to make the first move on this mob. He swung his blade forward, digging it into the hide of the boar. He slashed and hacked, but despite all of his efforts, he only managed to bring its bar down slightly. What the hell did he have the sword for anyway?!

  5. Dynaon drew his blade on the boars as he prepared for an attack. Even if his blade wasn't nearly strong enough for him to do anything but generate hatred, he at least wanted to give it a shot. These boars threatened to kill him off just by existing, after all. If the Immortal King didn't at least fight back, there would be no point to this harsh grind.

  6. Another set of fifteen boars had spawned right after, but despite the damage he took, he managed to regain his health back just as quickly. The new digs that he got from Kranzer were definitely doing their job! The group of Boars attacked him once more, a flurry of Critical Hits slamming against him. Yet.. his health would only regenerate after these hits. He was starting to become Immortal after all~.

  7. Dynaon wanted something more out of the game. This grind was too small, too slow. He was never going to make it to the Frontlines at this rate. There had to be a way for him to proceed even faster, you know? Then he was met with a small notification. 'Difficulty: Normal'. He looked around, making sure people hadn't surrounded him before flicking it upward, letting it move to 'Hard'. Suddenly, the fields were replaced with flames that threatened to burn him, and eighteen boars surrounded his body. "[censored]!" He didn't expect to be attacked by so many, slashing out at one of them with his blade. He landed a critical, but he had no damage behind his shot. They were too powerful. Was he about to die?

They attacked all at once, slamming into the Immortal King. He watched as his HP fell into the yellow quickly, but.. at the same time, the creatures were destroyed through the Thorns upon his new chestplate. "... What?"

  8. Hmm. He wondered if Kranzer would want to get in on this. It seemed like this simple collection mission would be right up his alley, after all. Dynaon quickly sent the player a PM asking him to join up with the three of them before moving back to search the enemy camps. There was nothing of interest that he could find right away, but Hunie quickly approached Dynaon, causing him to smile. She must have had some luck! He scanned over the map, and as it turned out, it was a map to some more loot! He took interest in it, but heard Takkles talking to them from outside. "We're fine, but we found something interesting! Let us know when the coast is clear, kay Takkles?!"

After he finished yelling, he looked back to Hunie. "This is awesome. Nice work, Hunie Butter!"

  9. As Dynaon balanced himself on the lamp post, he smiled down at Hope, who said he was like a monkey. "Ha, I do my best to make sure I get some attention! Now, let's get down to--" He was interrupted by Kranzer, who asked him to get down. He didn't want the Immortal King to get hurt, but how could he? He was invincible! "Hmph, come on, Kranzy! I'm not gonna fall, I'm the Immortal King! I'm also really good at balan--" As if the world itself wanted to prove him wrong, his boot slipped off of the pole. Gravity took its natural toll as he started to fall down.

    "SHIIIIIII--"

His head hit the ground first, causing some minor fall damage, but his gauntlets regenerated it for him instantly. Now he was just left with a small headache. He rubbed at the back of his head as he got up, looking both of his friends over. "A-Ahh, right... I was thinking. We need to get Hope into some sort of profession so this group can generate some Col. So I want to bring her to the quest I did for my Alchemist role. I figured we can all get some loot out of it if we take it on together."

  10. The melodious voice of his new friend emitted from behind him, his concentration being broken the instant it hit his eardrums. He let off a sigh before shifting to his happy-go-lucky gear, hopping up from the ground and turning around. It was Hope, the woman he had the pleasure of meeting a few days ago and adding to his party. Although she seemed like the type to stay by herself, she sought the Immortal King out. He couldn't help but wonder why, but she greeted him. It was only fair he did the same. "Hope, hey! How have you been doing since joining SAO? What're you doing out here?" He hoped not to bombard her with honest questions, but Kranzer wasn't here to reel him in this time. He'd get them out of the way before saying anything else.

  11. Dynaon watched as yet another creature would spawn within the plains, allowing them to get a little more grinding in. He had something new to show off too, now that he gave Kranzer his moment to shine. Going into his inventory, he would quickly equip an item affectionately known as the 'Cactus Armor'. When he asked the person he bought it from what it would do, he was merely told to wait and see. He equipped the item, a piece of pure iron covered in pink stripes with thorns on them. A blush ran up to his cheeks as he put it on, looking at Kranzer. "I-It's not like I like pink or anything, this is just how it was made!" He ground his teeth together. Why wouldn't his friend tell him a very important detail like this? What kind of warrior would wear this?!

He was so distracted by the new equipment that he didn't even bother to attack, and the creature followed suit.

  12. Dynaon offered Kranzer a bright smile as he watched him successfully correct a Material from the grass. It seemed like his friend was on a roll today after all. The Immortal King decided to give it a try himself, grabbing a handful of grass to see if he could extract himself something pretty. Not that he was surprised by his own success or anything, but he successfully got himself a Material from the grass he grabbed. Happily putting it into his inventory, he went over by Kranzer and sat down next to him, crossing his legs and pushing his hands against his knees. "You know.. I'm proud of you. You've come a long way from that kid I met who was hiding in the grass. Now you're a natural warrior. You may still have some reserves, but despite them, you keep pushing forward. You may not be on the Frontlines with me due to who you are.. But I won't forget my first friend."'

  13. A Private Message was sent to both of his party members, Hope and Kranzer. He asked the both of them to meet him by the portal in the middle of the Town of Beginnings. It was a bustling square, but the Immortal King wouldn't be too hard to miss. All things considered, he was balancing on top of one of the street lamps and searching far and wide for his fans. He was getting odd stares from the crowd that walked beneath him as he tried to find his friends. Dynaon smiled all the while, not even paying attention to their reactions. He was just happy to be out and about before he got down to business with the two of them.

  14. The King felt as if he was one with nature. The surroundings around him would serve as ambiance as he pressed his palms together, meditating in the midst of the Fields on the outskirts of town. He managed to get a free minute away from Kranzer, so he wanted to utilize his solo time well before he had to hit the grind once more. It was an every day struggle to keep the more violent thoughts within his mind down to his center, but every day would come up as a success. He couldn't allow himself to lose focus after all of this effort. He needed to become the shining hope for this game. He needed to hit the front lines.

He needed to become the Immortal King he boasted about so much.

  15. The Immortal King was merely strolling down the street on this fine day. Nothing grand, nothing too showy.. just wishing to get from point A to point B. However, Dynaon's inbox would receive a new message on this day. One that would change the very course of his entire day's actions. The message was from a player named 'Mack' who offered to gift free equipment to people by the portal in the Town of Beginnings. The only requirement was that the player had be under Level 10. Being Level 5 himself, he knew this was the perfect opportunity for him to get in on something really good. Having more equipment was better than having none, after all! The King would quickly make his way to the center of town, smiling wide all the while. He wasn't just interested in getting equipment, but if this Mack had equipment to blow.. perhaps he was important. Perhaps he was a man of the front lines!

  17. As Dynaon took his blade out of the ground and prepared to try hitting the creature again, it was already too late. Kranzer damn near one-shotted the thing right away, watching as the beast flew into the air and evaporated into the little digital particles that made it up. The King whistled as he looked over to the indecisive young man "Well, well, well. Someone's been practicing with his new digs! I've got respect for ya. See how easy it is to take things on if you put a little effort in?" He smiled at Kranzer and flashed him a thumbs up before sitting on the ground, grabbing some grass to attempt harnessing the materials within. "So, you wanna try fighting another after we recover? It seems like they'll be pretty easy with your firepower and my endurance now!" He smiled, despite not getting any materials from the grass.

  18. Dynaon smiled at the new effects of these gauntlets. Now was the time to try and strike again. He attempted to swing his blade down again, but he wasn't used to the grip on the scimitar with these gauntlets. Due to this, he fucked up the swing, hitting the ground beside the Boar. He felt like he was about to get hit again, but instead, he noticed that the creature had sparkled eyes toward a different direction. Following the beast's gaze, he saw that Kranzer was wearing some pretty nice threads. He must have gotten himself something pretty along with these gauntlets. "Oho~. I like the new clothes. It suits ya!" He laughed confidently as he focused back on the creature, taking his blade out and beginning to kite the little bastard. He waited for Kranzer to come in for a hit.

  19. Dynaon knew that Kranzer wouldn't get the joke, being well aware that it was just his lack of a sense of humor that got in the way. Despite that, Hope accepted the party invite, adding her as a second HP bar beneath Dynaon's. The King jumped up in excitement that they had yet another member. "Haha, perfect! The Kingdom of the Immortal King grows in number on this day! Now, we've gotta work on getting you up in levels. What do you say we wait for the next Boar to come along and we take it as a team? We'll see how we work together." Dynaon flashed a thumbs up for each person, one at Hope and one at Kranzer. He was honestly excited about having a new friend aside from Kranzer. "Don't worry about the XP, we all earn the same amount. Just make sure you stand behind me when you aren't attacking, those Boars are nasty at the first level!"

  20. Dynaon smiled toward the newcomer as they seemed to keep their distance from one another. The King tilted his head at how large the space was between him and Hope. She introduced herself with ease, but she dismissed herself just as fast, turning to leave. He couldn't just let her leave like that! He pushed off the ball of his foot, moving to get in front of her. "No, no, you weren't interrupting! We'd love to have you in our party. Our ranks are never too full for new recruits!" Not giving her a chance to answer him right away, he quickly navigated through his menu and sent her a request to join their party. Dynaon offered an honest smile, happy to see another person aside from Kranzer that actually wanted to stand beside him for more than a few seconds.

With the request sent, the King shot his gaze back at Kranzer, laughing a bit. "Hey, Kranzy! I found our Hope!" He didn't know if he'd get the joke, but after saying such a thing, his laugh grew louder. He was impressed with himself for coming up with such a thing, but he really believed in his words. This woman may be just what he needed to gain his final edge versus the elements of this crazy virtual world.

  21. He laughed heartily as he looked Kranzer over, only to be greeted with a trade request. 'Immortal Grasp'. It definitely sounded cool enough, so the King instantly accepted the trade. "Thank you! I'll try these out right now." He outfitted himself with the pair of gauntlets, opening and closing his fists as he looked them over. The King smiled wide as he let the steel gleam in the sunlight of the fields, seeing the official 'D' symbol take over the back of his hands. He could feel his MIT stat rising to new heights, causing him to flare up with determination. This was the spice he needed in his life. "Let's do this thing!" He noticed one of the <<Frenzied Boars>> hanging around the fields, and he targeted it instantly, taking his blade out and charging for it. He cleaved at its side with ease, managing to chunk off a single HP point.

However, he didn't expect for the Boar to bounce back with a quick charge, digging its tusks into the palms of his hands. It was a <<Critical Hit>>, yet.. he barely felt it. He only took 1 damage, and even then, he instantly regenerated it. Was he finally becoming immortal?! "Ha, you can't even crit me, damn it!"
