Khrysaor

Khrysaor couldn't believe the kind of luck he had, and the type of protection he had on him. He was amazed at the armor he got for himself and felt jubilant at how many victories he was able to achieve just from his armor alone. He looked towards the sky and saw that the sun was soon about to set. He wanted to gather a few more quest material before he disappeared for the night.

He thought he would try his hand at gathering more wood, so he searched and picked out a good tree he thought would produce a decent bundle of wood, and started to hack at it but mid-hack he saw some shadows appear in the woods and jump him. Not thinking what he was doing, he reflexively activated his sword art just in the nick of time to catch his enemy unaware and kill off the mob of wolves but not before he, himself was taken down by the force of the wolves attack on him.

From the ground he looked around a little bewildered at what happened and made a note to himself that he should keep a better eye of his surroundings when gathering material, because an enemy could just pop out of now here without him knowing.

Khrysaor used his arm to wipe his forehead of sweat and sighed with relief, and said calmly, "Phew, that was close, I thought I was a goner there for a sec, and had to fight without my armor. Still, even if I did not have my armor on, I could have still fought those wolves and beaten them easily, but I feel more at ease knowing I have some more protection on me. As the saying goes, its better to be safe then sorry."

Khrysaor picked up his forgotten sword which was sitting on the ground not too far away from him. In his hurry to put on his armor he let his sword fall from his grip, and never gotten a chance to pick it up. He decided it might be more fun, and amusing to try his luck at fighting off some wolves. He pretty much had enough of boars for the time being, and thought the wolves might be more of challenge to fight.

He started to walk deeper into the forest and spotted some wolves not too far away from him. He lifted his sword into the air and charged them but his charge was kind of loud which alerted his prey of danger and they were able to escape in time and regroup. As if as one, the wolves attacked simultaneously and tried to bite him but his armor protected and thorns was activated again. Instantly killing off the group.

As Khrysaor thought about his day so far, 'I have had a pretty rough day overall, but its been fun too. In the end, I got a pretty good haul of items, and my luck has not been so bad.' He decided it was about time to start looking for some fat again, so headed in the direction of the armor to put it on him.

When out of the blue he heard some shuffling of feet in the distance which stopped him in his tracks and mumbled, "Oh, [censored] not now, I do not even have my armor on yet." He quickly ran like the wind to his armor and picked it up to wear. He could still hear the enemy approaching and they were not too far now. Khrysaor was able to get the last bit of armor on him in the nick of time, because as he fastened the last hook of his armor, out popped some wolves who attacked straight away without any sign, and rammed themselves into his armor killing them because of the activation of Thorns.

Khrysaor had listened to Hydra's thoughts on the matter and agreed with him and said, "Yea, sounds good. Hopefully I will see ya in a day. We should definitely meet up again, and it was lucky for my thorns. Those wolves actually surprised me that they got the sneak on the both of us without us even knowing or having a clue that they were there.", and he laughed.

Then he waved his hand in a goodbye to the leaving Hydra and thought, ' Now where should I go? I want to be able to find some low-leveled enemies.' As he remembered where he was he knew the best place to go for fighting wolves of lower quality. He went deeper into the forest and just beyond the sea of trees he could see a small clearing.

As he headed for the clearing he spotted a mob of wolves that were sleeping and thought, 'This is perfect they don't know I am here. Well lets try to keep it that way.' Khrysaor slowly walked towards the group and when he was only a few meters away he jumped at them and activated his sword art but not before he, himself was attacked by the wolves. When he looked he saw the all the wolves were dead and breathed a sigh of relief. He was surprised at that attack from nowhere, he thought the enemy hadn't noticed his presence.

Khrysaor was yet again surprised at his luck for finding another rare bundle, and thought, 'It looks like I am having better luck at gathering wood than fat, and I should be better at finding fat than I should the wood. What are the chances of that happening?' He knew with how his luck is going he should may be try his hand at gathering more pieces of wood for now, and he knew anything was better than wearing that armor again.

He took out his sword again and went back to the same tree that he found the rare quality and started to hack at it with more vigor hoping to find more rare and if not rare, at least he could may be find noble instead which would be even better. He gathered up all the pieces of wood he could and extracted some of it which turned into another rare bundle of wood. He sighed with relief and took another small break and thought about how his day has been going so far.

Khrysaor decided that he had enough time to relax, it was time to get back to work. He slowly made his way out of the water, and stretched his body a bit. Feeling much more better, he was relaxed and more energized and ready to rumble. He made his way towards where he left his clothes on the ground beside the lake and picked them up to put on. After, he was done placing his clothes on him, he turned to the tree he laid his other items upon and headed in that direction.

As he walked he thought to himself, "Troublesome, and now it seems like I have to wear this heavy-assed armor again." He picked up the armor, wincing at how heavy it felt in his hands and was about to place it on him before he stopped suddenly and thought, 'This is a good area to cut some trees down, I might get some good quality wood. Why don't I try it out and see, at least it will be better than having to wear the armor again any time soon.'

With that thought he placed his armor back where it was and instead took out his sheathed sword and unsheathed it slowly. Watching the sun reflected away from the surface of the blade, and headed in the direction of a tree which he thought might give him some good wood. He slowly went through the process of cutting pieces away from the tree and extracted the wood for it to turn into some rare quality wood.

Thinking about his energy made him want to look at it. When he looked at it he was kind of shocked that he had let it drop to such a extent that if he wasn't careful and got into another battle he would have a hard time, even if they were boars that could be easily taken down.

After, he felt up to it Khrysaor started to swim at a slow speed around the lake to take his mind off of anything to do with the game for a little bit of the time. He dived into the lake on the deep end and looked around at the sights that he could see underwater. In his mind he thought it looked beautiful with some of the underwater fish and some of the underwater plant life flourishing below water.

It took him almost a minute and a half before he needed oxygen in his lungs, so he went back and broke through the surface of the water to catch his breath and take in some well needed air. He was gasping for breath and took only deep breaths, so that he could try to bring his heart beat to a steady pace.

Khrysaor didn't want any more trouble, and was lucky enough that he reached the outskirts of the field, to a little more of a wooded area. He sighed in relief thinking he was home free for the time being and safe. He walked a little further in until until he reached a small clearing that had a lake in it.

He walked towards one of the trees and laid his sword beside it, all the while taking his armor off him so that he could get a small breather and not worry about lugging around such heavy items on him. He then walked towards the lake and put his soaring feet into it. The moment his feet touched the water he felt so much relief enter his body and felt nice with the cool temperature of the water cooling him off.

He took a moment before he decided to take a dip in the water, so he took of his shirt and pants and climbed down into the water with only his underpants. He looked at his body and saw some bruises and no real injuries. Since, he didn't really see much of a drop in health.

Khrysaor slowly picked himself up by leaning against the tree he collided in earlier, and tried to ease some of the pain he felt on his back by rubbing it. "Ah, that hurts. I think it is time for me to go into hiding for a little bit so I can get my strength back up again" moaned Khrysaor.

He used his sword as a walking stick and quickly tried to flee the scene so he wouldn't get entangled in another battle. He could just see the outskirts of the field which would take him to a spot where there are rarely any animals to fight. But before he could make he heard some oinking behind him indicating a group of boars had spotted him, and without even turning around he could tell they were running straight at him. Khrysaor activated his sword art just at the last minute and killed off the boars, all without turning around to even face the enemy. Khrysaor swiped away the loot window, not even caring to take a glance at it.

"Oh, yea I love to watch the clouds. It is very nice and relaxing." Khrysaor replied to Hydra's query. They stayed like that for some time, before Khrysaor came up with a idea that might help them save more time and effort, "Hey, how about we go for the enemies with lower stats that should help us gather the fat faster, but it will be of the normal quality and not rare. The positive is that they would need only one attack before they are finished off, but the negative is we won't be getting as much extra loot as we would have liked. What to do you say to that?"

Khrysaor slowly got up from his position on the ground and dusted himself off, and continued on by saying, "Also, I think it might be best to split up and search for the enemy so we cover more ground. Its not like we will need each other if we are aiming to take down low level enemies anyways."

Unexpectedly, a mob of wolves which surprising were the type of mob Khrysaor was talking about popped out of no where and hit Khrysaor right in his armor but also were killed off by his thorns activating. Khrysaor then thought it would be a good idea to switch out his shield for his plushie which helped increase his chances for some loot and attached said plushie to the hilt of his sword, as he waited for Hydra's thought on the matter.

'What a drag, and it was so close to finishing them off. Well, it looks like it is my turn, and I should be able to finish them off with a good enough attack.' thought Khrysaor. As the wolves were slowly getting up and regrouping thinking they had the power in numbers, Khrysaor snuck into the center of the groups formation where he struck with his sword art, blowing all of them far from him but also killing them off.

After, it was over Khrysaor fell on his behind and looked up into the sky to take a break and watch some of the clouds. He fingered through the loot they got and was slightly disappointed that it was not as fruitful a find as last time with fighting the boars. He looked towards Hydra and motioned for him to sit down next to him so that they could take a breather and relax for some time.

Khrysaor saw Hydra allow for the wolf cub to escape back into the forest and tried to make a counterattack, which in the end failed. Once Hydra finished his chance at the attack, he instantly went to attack the wolves so they would not get a chance to get their bearings. He went in trying to slash at which way with no effect in the end because the wolves kept dodging using the surroundings as good cover.

But after he was tired from his attack, the wolves appeared from behind the trees and bushes and tried to surround and attack Hydra but his friend was able to jump out of the way of the oncoming attack. He went to regroup with Hydra and said with some labored breathing, "Damn, these guys are hard to take down, even tougher than those boars we fought earlier. I tild ya these guys can be tricky to deal with."

Khrysaor caught the wolf cub and watched as Hydra charged the wolves but almost stumbled because of the glare from the sunlight. Hydra was able to get his footing and finally made a devastating attack that Khrysaor had been wanting to see for some time. Hydra soon after came back to him and made an excuse for the little cub. As Khrysaor listened to Hydra talk about the cub, he noticed movement in his peripheral vision and quickly turned to see the oncoming danger heading for Hydra.

Khrysaor, without thinking handed the wolf cub back to Hydra, and unsheathed his sword brandishing it in the air. Khrysaor was about to use his sword art on the jumping wolves but as he spun around he stumbled a bit trying to keep balance, but at the last moment was able to activate his concentrate skill, which helped him to concentrate keeping steady on his feet, and was able to complete his sword art fully attacking the wolves.

The force of the attack made the wolves collide into some trees a few meters back and become slightly disoriented. Khrysaor steadily got back onto his feet and wiped away some of the sweat that started to appear on his face.

Khrysaor looked up from his panting position hoping to see his buddy do something awesome, and it did look like that for a moment as he saw Hydra going in for the attack, but stopped midway. Khrysaor had a confused expression on his face for moment, that is until he saw Hydra pick up a small wolf cub from the ground and started to run in the opposite direction to who the hell knew where.

Khrysaor looked on with a expressionless face thinking, 'Where the hell is he going and what is he up to?' Deciding he wanted in on the secret, Khrysaor ran at top speed following Hydra, but as he looked back the wolves were gaining on them. So, as they converged on him he spun in a 360 degrees and activated his sword art and slashed with his sword towards their legs making sure to injure and paralyze them for the time being.

After, he was done with the wolves for now, he started to try to catch up to Hydra all the while gasping for air. His armor and shield were slowing him down and took a lot more work for him to catch up to Hydra and keep pace. While, they ran Khrysaor asked, "Why did you run off all of a sudden? I stopped the wolves for attacking for some time as my sword skill paralyze took effect. Now slow down and talk while I catch my breath and make sure to keep an eye on the wolves just in case."

Khrysaor was hoping Hydra wlould be able to help him out of this situation and use one of his most devastating attacks to do it, but when he looked towards Hydra's general direction he did a face palm as he saw his buddy fall flat on his face, and was thinking with a sweat-drop, "Well that plan goes down the drain, and I so was hoping that distracting the wolves from Hydra's movements would have helped so much but it looks like it was all for nothing. I guess I will have to take matters into my own hands.'

It was hard for Khrysaor to move with all the wolves piled up against him, but he did and used his sword arm and swung at the wolves. His hopes of hitting one of them had failed as before the sword struck the wolf jumped off him escaping the blow, but when the wolves tried to counterattack it was unsuccessful because Khrysaor was able to deflect their attacks using his trusty shield.

After, all that exertion Khrysaor slammed his sword against the ground and leaned against it tired from the grueling battle. He thought poutingly, "I hope Hydra can come up with something to make their situation more advantageous, and it was all going so well with my first strike, after that the whole strategy went down the drain.'

Khrysaor's breathing was starting to become steady since they weren't walking on a hilly surface anymore, but he as on the look out. He said with a laugh, "Oh yea, I remember that sucker. We knocked Lyrica down a few pegs with our combos and teamwork didn't we? It's nostalgic thinking about the past events we have gone through. It was my first real boss fight against Lyrica and its minions." Khrysaor thought for a few minutes as Hydra asked about what hes been doing in the game so far, and replied, "Not much man, just working in my shop, and getting material. Also, doing few quests, getting to know few of our fellow players, grinding, grinding, and more grinding. Oh yeah and I forgot to mention I did a lot more grinding." He said with a snicker, "Can't get enough of grinding can I? Well I do want to make it to the top sooner or later and grinding is the key."

He kept walking around the trees until he heard a small howl in the distance, and Khrysaor put his finger to his mouth motioning Hydra to quiet down so that they could listen. He hid behind a tree and looked around it to see some grey furred wolves in the distance snoozing. He indicated with hand gestures that he would try to strike them down first with keeping them busy and then Hydra can take over with a much more devastating strike. He made sure to walk around to the wolves blind spot and carefully ran without making any sound, but knew that would not work for the whole distance since wolves had a strong sense of hearing. But even with their hearing Khrysaor was able to get the jump on them and was able to activate his sword art, knocking them away. Even though the wolves were knocked away they responded fast and struck Khrysaor in his legs by biting on him.

"Yeah, true I heard that boss is whole level of tough. It is a smart idea to get stronger first before attempting it. Alright, lets head into the forest and see if we can find anything there." replied Khrysaor, as he started to walk towards the forest. Khrysaor turned to face Hydra and said, "You know there can also be wolves in that forest. I have actually fought some before, even though we are much stronger then them, they can be tricky bastards to take down."

They slowly traversed the field and the forest keeping an eye out for any enemies. "So, I have been wondering where have you been cooped up all this time? I have been wondering for months if any of you guys were still alive and kicking. I was actually quite ecstatic at seeing that you were still alive." asked Khrysaor, as he took a waterbottle out of inventory to drink some water. He tilted the bottle back and felt refreshed and rejuvenated with his thirst quenched.

Khrysaor sheathed his as he waited for Hydra to answer. After, letting Hydra talk for a bit, Khrysaor answered, "Ahh, you see this animal fat is to help build a ship for this new quest thats been put up for a limited time. That is another reason I called ya. I was wondering if you would like to join me and Bhairyuu who is my partner in this quest, it would help a lot, and the rewards are sweet. I have mainly been focusing on gathering the animal fat while my partner has been gathering the wood. We really do need the help since the deadline is just around the corner."

Then Khrysaor's face turned into a slight frown as he thought about his other exguildmates. He said, "Sorry, I have no clue on what the hell happened to them. I have actually been wondering the same thing. You are actually first player out of our whole group I have seen for the first time in a long while actually thats why I was so happy when your name showed up on the active players list. Its another reason I have left the guild, since I have no clue what is going on with it now. Actually I got a request not too long ago for joining another guild, its called the Celestial Ascendents. I am still not sure if I am going to join or not."

Khrysaor looked at Hydra's face as he looked wistfully to the Town of Beginnings, and he had a look of understanding that its been a while since Hydra has had a chance to be in a settlement. "You know I have heard of this other quest which can help turn your cursor from the orange back into the green, you should maybe check it out." said Khrysaor.

Khrysaor turned to face Hydra with a sheepish grin and said, "Whoops sorry about that. I didn't think they would attack that hard making me tumble into ya buddy." He got up when he noticed the boars were heading their way and were about to attack the both of them, and since Khrysaor got them into this mess he would get them out of it too. He was so focused on watching the enemy that he could hear Hydra ask him something but did not know what it was.

He quickly stood up and stood at the ready blocking the boars from attacking Hydra, and then allowing the boars to collide into his shield and next with his sword activated his sword art farrant full moon. Causing the other boars to drop down and disintegrate into red and blue pixels, and in their place materialized the loot they had won.

He looked happy when he saw a bundle of animal fat appear, and showed Hydra the fat and said, "Lookie here, so this what a rare quality animal fat looks like. This is what we have to collect for the quest I messaged you about earlier." As if remembering something which happened during the fight, Khrysaor turned to face Hydra and asked, "Ummm, sorry about that. Since, I was too focused on beating some pigs I didn't listen to what you were saying before, so... umm.. could you repeat that, please."

Khrysaor was on his back on the ground as he watched few clouds drift by, and mumbled, "Troublesome." He just wanted to stay like that for some time but knew he had to get up, he was still thinking when he noticed a hand come into his field of vision. He looked up at the smiling face of Hydra offering him a hand up. He took it and Hydra helpe pull him up to a standing position.

Khrysaor took a glance at the enemy and noticed the HP was low enough for him to finish off the little beasties, and that is if he got a good hit on them. He tried to calm his nerves a bit to help him focus on his next attack which he hoped finished them off. After, a minute he ran full throttle at the boars who charged him right back.

He was so engrossed in his charge that he did not notice a small spot of gravel on the fields, and when he stepped on it he couldn't get a good grip making him stumble right into the horde of boars, making him fly off and collide into Hydra on his landing. "Ahhh, for crying out loud, I had the perfect chance of finishing them off." grumbled Khrysaor.

Khrysaor was starting to feel unusually tired, even more so than he really should. He tried to see what was wrong but when he looked at his energy gauge he figured it out. 'Ah, what a drag, I am almost out of energy here. If this keeps up it won't take me long till my energy is all depleted. I maybe should take a rest after one or two more battles.' thought Khrysaor. While, he was distracted because his energy levels and how tired he felt, he did not notice the lurking danger approaching him.

As the enemy boars were a few meters away from him, he heard the pitter-patter of the hooves hitting the grass and turned just in time to see boars jumping him. Khrysaor tried to get out of the way, which was only reflex, but his reflexes were also slowed down because of his energy and could not escape the full brunt of the attack which made him fly towards one of the trees and collide against it.

As he looked up to see the condition of the boars, he saw them nowhere only seeing the red pixels floating in the air indicating the boars to have died.

(OOC: If loot dice comes to be 1-10 then boars will attack Khrysaor, but if between 11-20 then it will be @Hydra.)

Khrysaor was having a tough time taking down the boars quickly and he was in a rush to meet up with Hydra, and thought with gritted teeth, 'This is so troublesome.' He decided to take the inititive in his next attack and was about to attack, but out of the corner of his eye he could see a small blur pass by him and attack the boars. Khrysaor couldn't be certain but he thought the blur looked quite familiar but he couldn't put his finger on it.

He saw all the boars were knocked out pretty good and whistled at the damage they took from the attack and said, "Sweet, nice attack there buddy, and thanks for the help. I am much appreciated." Then he looked at the player who came in to rescue him who still had his back to him, but as Khrysaor looked closely at the clothing and the stature of the player. He could only be reminded of one other person, and said excitedly, "Hey is that you Hydra..." but before he could get any farther he saw the boars coming to and getting ready for round 2.

He quickly continued speaking to the person he thought was Hydra, "Why don't we catch up after we take care of these small fry." and with that he could be seen running at the boar while activating his sword art. He got the attack in but not before the boars were able to headbutt him in the stomach causing all the participants in the little duel to tumble onto the ground.

Khrysaor was just outside his shop on Floor 8 lazing about in the nice weather, when a small noise could be heard indicating that there was a new message for him to check out. He lazily swiped his finger a few time and came up to the message, and skimmed its content. He brought his head up and thought, 'I was wondering when they would bring up the second boss meeting. Its been almost a week or maybe a week and a half since the last one which ended kind of prematurely. Well, it seems like I have something interesting to do for the day, why don't I go check it out, and observe and learn more. Since, I will not be going on the actual boss hunt this is a nice way to get in on some of the action.'

Khrysaor got up and dusted himself off, before he went in the direction of the teleportation gate. Once, he reached the gate and was enveloped in its light he stated, "Teleport-Town of Beginning, Floor 1" and disappeared in a swirl of bluish-white light. He reappeared on the first floor not too long after and headed in the direction of the grasslands. Once there, he saw a pretty decent sized group of players gathering up on a hill, and thought that might be the location for the meeting. As he got closer to the meeting he spotted @Bhairyuu in the small crowd and waved his hand while calling out, "Hey man whats up been some time, hasn't it."

Khrysaor had listened to Itzal speak about the guild and he thought it seems like a good and active guild unlike his old one, with good ideals in place. Khrysaor liked the mentor/apprentice system a lot, and he thought after he got his training over with, he wouldn't mind teaching others his skills to boost up their levels. When Utzal came to his last question was when Khrysaor got stumped, and had to take some time to think about how he was going to answer that question.

He thought, 'Troublesome, I don't really like to talk about this subject but it looks like I have no other choice.' Khrysaor turned to the group with a serious face indicating, that with the topic being discussed was going to be no laughing matter for him.

He replied, "I really don't like player killers at all, and especially hate that there are players in this death game we are stuck in, who want to kill others, and know what they are actually doing to others is actually killing them IRL. Even though I don't like player killers, there will be only one way I will stick up for any of them would be if and only if they had a very, very good reason for what they did. The only way I see killing in general as ok, would be when either the person was trying to protect themselves from the other person in self defense. I would still try to get them incapacitated and captured first, but if it comes down to it and there is no easy way to capture them then it would be alright to kill. Well, I think that's all I have to say on the subject for now, unless I remember something I may have forgotten."
