  1. Slowly, he parted his jaws again. "GYPSY knows all. GYPSY will tell--" click, click, click "--AKUA a secret. There are people called Beast Tamers, as you should know by now. These Beast Tamers have all learnt from the great GYPSY! I have told them the technique of how to capture their very own friend," the gypsy paused, as if to wait for the aqua haired she's reaction.

Slowly she nodded. Beast Tamers? So those where players who where walking around as a friend to monsters? Soon Akua put two and two together. "Alright, I'm following you so far," she said, suddenly intrigued. Her heart was filled with excitement. Could she become a "Beast Tamer?" It seemed so. She couldn't wait to find out how.

  2. "First, I'll show you to fight," she stated, voice firm. That sounded reasonable, right? Akua thought so; this was a fighting based game, after all, and it took awhile to physically get used to. She also neaded to learn about switching, levels, and such, but that was for later. First, she had one simple question, though necessary.

"What kind of weapons and skills do you have?"

  3. Akua hesitantly padded over. Honestly, she hated talking to human NPCs. They where bots. They where lifeless beings playing person. But perhaps this NPC could acctually help her. From the legends he could, and she felt it would be worth it. Besides, it was only an NPC; he couldn't exactly PK her. That sounded stupid.

She spoke. "Are you the gypsy?" As she waited for an answer, the strange dude just glanced around. What was he doing? Making sure no one was around? But that would be just idiotic; this was public information, right? Of course; it was, after all, the internet. Only a real idiot would put secrets up on the internet, none the less an NPC in a video game.

Finally his voice rung, loud and clear. "Hey kid, wanna know a secret? And yes. I am. I am GYPSY."

Oh dear whoever-was-SAO's-lord. This was honestly the most stupid NPC she had ever spoken to in her life. But, alright; she'd bare with it, if only to figure this riddle out. She nodded, hoping that would register to the system's...concious? Code? Memory? Whatever. She tapped her foot impatiently. Waiting, she blinked at the NPC.

  4. Good, just the answer she was looking for. "Alright, Kyoki. First I will pass this down to you; another user gave it to me when I was as lost as ya'self," she shrugged, and Akua pulled out the introduction-packet-thing. "Review it, then I'll show you how to fight some boars, okay?" she asked, waving the book around nonchallantly.

  5. Normally her reflex would have been "None of your damn business!"; however it was his business, and for once in her life Akua was able to hold her toung. "Name's Akua; don't cramp my style and we're cool, mkay?" she puffed, offering a "peace-of-bread". Get it? A pun? Peace treaty? Piece of bread? Yeeeah.

The wind ruffled her aqua hair, and her matching eyes stayed locked on Zelrius. Perhaps she should get down from her perch? But she liked it here! She didn't want to get off this rock. Then again, how would he take the piece of bread, then? Well perhaps that'd be the point; if he meant it then he'd reach for it.

  6. She was alone. Very alone. Why did she feel so lacking of any company? Why was the solidary, cold Akua jonesing for that feeling of companionship? Honestly, the cerulean haired female was unsure...and she didn't like it, not a bit. Normally, she liked being alone, when in real life. She felt as if she where better that way.

But not now. Perhaps this loneliness was the side effect of the dangers of SAO. Perhaps this tough girl was acctually quite afraid. That was quite likely, right? That was probably it. Akua knew she wasn't mean all-around. She saw herself as normal acctually, maybe just a bit different. She knew she could be quite rude and blunt atfirst; that was a given. But she was always lonely and kind on the inside in reality, and fear had probably brought this side of her out.

Then she heard a tale of a gypsy who could inform you on how to find the most loyal of companions. One who could never commit treachery. This had left Akua curious, as she couldn't see how this was possible. But just as she started doubting if this gypsy was even real, she spoted a unique NPC in the distance. Perhaps she should approach...

    { quest for Akua; aided by Kyoki, Dellis, and DandelionWings }

  7. She sighed, shaking her head. Akua gave a breif halfhearted smile, exposing her little tsundere fang on the left this time. "Kyoki, do ya' know how to farm and fight yet? Really, ya' need to. I see you're still less then half way to level two," she puffed. There was alot, Akua guessed, that she could teach Kyoki, although still fairly fresh to SAO herself.

The aqua - headed she had already gotten a good grasp on this mysterious world; why not aid another player and make herself useful? Really now, Akua was quite useless at the moment. She had no job and didn't fight on the front lines, but merely farmed on the first floor and took her sweet time.

  8. Akua was strolling around, fake sunlight strong in her eyes at the same time the party invitation popped up. "Damn it!" she yelped, eyes burning. "Get the Hell outta mah eyes, sun! Stop bein' a *!" Shaking her head and waving her arms frantically, she clasped her eyelids closed over her aqua optics.

The cerulean haired she eventually wound up toppling over in her frenzy, but landed under a shady tree. Akua let her chlorine colored eyes reveal themselves once more, and blinked a couple of times. As she did so she finally saw her awaiting party invitation, from that Kyoki chick from earlier. "Oi?"

Pushing herself up into a sitting position, Akua blinked a final time, before reaching out. Hesitating a moment, she atlast taped the circle. "Kyoki? Where're ya?" she called out, looking around.

  9. Again it felt as is that damn third party force was propelling her. Stupid, really. Akua blinked, staring at Zelrius from her perch on a "rock". "Oi! What the 'ell are ya doin' right now! I thought we partied up, whatever digital God of this world knows why I'd do that, and we're just sitting here? What'd we even party for anyways?" she snapped, blue optics cold as always.

Honestly why did she request to party up with him, especially with his name's color? Who knows; maybe she was curious about his name's color. It certainly was not green, and maybe she wondered of his reasoning or if he was acctually an enemy. Whatever her reason, she knew she'd keep her guard up.

  10. Akua blinked at this "Swift." American, perhaps? Maybe, maybe. Her name wasn't Japanese for sure. "Well okay then, 'Swift.' I'm Akua, alias; Ishihara Aoi in real life," she said nonchalantly, waving around a throwing pick and eating a piece of "bread" between words. Talking between bites was a real world habit of hers and it soothed her; you could always find her with a snack, most probably.

Noting how that older girl who'd just introduced herself had glanced around untill stopping at yet another female SAO player who she didn't know the name of, Akua barely stifled a small chuckle. Apparently, Akua wasn't the only one interested in the same sex. Hey, maybe there where more than she thought on SAO. Perhaps one closer to her own age and she'd get a girlfriend for once... That'd be funny.

  11. Akua blinked blandly, looking dead at the blue haired girl. Tilting her head, her aquamarine optics — which matched her own cerulean hair — grew curious. She couldn't formerly imagine that anyone else would use such a color. It made her wonder about Haine's personality, but she did not show it.

Calling over, she stabbed her sword into the ground. "Oi! Who the 'ell are ya, bluey?" Akua called over sharply, although it a natural tone for her. She didn't mean anything by it, she was just... Like that.

  12. As she had recently discovered her weapons and noticed she acctually did have a skills set, Akua had decided to go farming. Why shouldn't she? It only made sense to her and honestly she didn't want to die. She didn't want to be weak. She might not even fight on the front lines — it was reasonable to debate this decision and she was quite scared of it — but she would absolutely hate to lose at anything. Again, reasonable; have she ever lose she would die.

Rather, Akua wanted to kill as many boars as she could; leveling was always fair and good, and ensured better safety for her. She hated to admit this; but the light blue haired girl could feel quite scared quite often, mostly when it came to well... Dying. She needed that securing cushion of alot of HP and so she would earn it.

Aquamarine optics locked their gazes onto the feild ahead of her. It wasn't all too long untill she spotted a wandering boar. Staying in her spot awhile back for now, she first withdrew one of her throwing picks. Flicking it foward, it struck the boar in a {Single Shot}, only removing a tiny portion of it's HP.

Damn, she thought. You're an idiot, you should have known that'd do little damage to a monster of the same level as you that's so ...large.

Sighing that she had now caught it's attention, Akua withdrew her rapier. Pointing it forward, she rushed at the boar, and landed a {Linear} strike on it's side; a critical hit. As it spun around to charge she began to run out of the way, yet it still scored her leg, taking one of her few HP.

She'd kill this piece of crap! Now she had around four HP and it had two. Rushing forward again, she landed another {Linear} attack; not waiting to see if it was critical, she threw some picks at it with a {single shot}; the boar was now gone. She had won!

  13. Akua stared at the group from a distance, letting out a puff. "Oi!" she called out, expression seemingly annoyed as ever. I mean, what where they doing, goofing off like a bunch of idiots? To her goofing off counted just about anything except... Just, whatever she felt wasn't stupid! Jeez!

The cerulean haired she decided to cautiously approach, keeping good distance from the group and the monsters. She didn't want to be stupid and attack. However Akua possibley might help have they need it... Just fof the experience points though; not like she cared if people died...or anything. Right?

Her blue eyes examined the scenario. Weird, bug like creatures, a group of idiots, and catching Swift's words she figured perhaps she wasn't in a worl of total morons. Besides, that Daeron dude was here; he wasn't so bad apparently. Honestly, if she survived she didn't care how good a person someone was. She just wanted out.

Opening her mouth just once more, she took in a deep breath before speaking. "Ay, so yeh' all are...? What?" Akua grunted, it slipping her mind that she was sitting there being totally blunt and useless.

  14. The cerulean - haired - she shot over an annoyed glance at the commotion. The other SAO players looked like tiny ants, barely extant in the distance. Still the commotion seemed fruitless and confusing to Akua, a waste of valueable time. Deciding to interject, she first swung her ponytail aside from her face, before beginning to make her way over.

As she took great strides over, she halted on the false grass mid-way. This world still set her in awe. How could this Hell look so deceiving and beautiful? How was this intricate universe one of pure data? How was her concious dependant on a server as of now? It was all very awe and shock inducing.

But now was now. Aoi was Akua; and Akua was busy. Finishing her stroll over to the group, her cold expression stayed put. "Oi! What's all the commotion ov'a!" she puffed, stomping her foot. Seriously, she was just confused as 'll.

  15. Letting out a little tch, she nodded. And so ya' are laughin' at me, she thought, rolling her eyes slightly. Alright, fine, she'd let him live anyways, she decided. One set of laughs was no real reason for a legal murder. Besides, she wasn't crazy; she didn't kill unless absolutely necessary, and thus she had never killed in real life or in game. She wasn't yanderu. Besides, maybe he was laughing because he was happy, for some weird reason.

Akua nodded, merely taking a guess, before shaking her head. "Yea...no," she puffed, looking at the notice. "I mean I get how to use it, but what purpose does it serve?"

She was just about silent for a moment, not quite sure of what to say next. Then, finally, a thought just dawned upon her, something she felt neccessary to say. "Oh and, oi, don't think I can fully trust easy." She gave a signature smile of hers, one that could convey many yet no messages. It was slanted, as to show more teeth on one side, and revealed her tiny little obvious, fang like tooth on the one side. "Sometimes I can't even trust my own ideas."

  16. When she registered? When she registered, she had been hasty, like always. When she is hasty she overlooks details, and when she overlooked details she must have accidentally skipped such an essential task. This was quite an agrivation to Akua, and not even bothering to check her inventory yet, she closed the menu.

"Ay," she began. She took the book, chlorine hued eyes scanning it over. "Thank 'ya. So, what, until I find a way to add on skills, my sword will just be a plain old sword? I guess this is not so troublesome; by the time it's used up a sure as 'll hope I've got that all sorted."

Looking down, Akua moved her orange ribbon and spare blue hair out of her eyes' line of sight. Flipping open the book, she had just begun reading, when her peripheral vision caught sight of Daeron's smirk. Instantly she snapped her head up, gaze not breaking as she sternly accused the other SAO player of mockery. "What the 'ell, dude? So much as laugh at me; I'll find a way to jab the smile right off your three dimentional pixels," she puffed, stomping her foot.

Flipping her hair back in annoyance, Akua glanced at the fake sky. Although a mere illusion, perhaps she could keep some sanity here. It wasn't all too bad. But the beauty was indeed false, she reminded herself, and she snapped from her reverie, focusing once more on the moment.

"You see, I'm not quite comfortable ...farming? on my own yet," Akua admitted hesitantly, facing her aquaintence once more. "Could you see if I do it right?"

  17. { ooc // had a long post... browser crash=dead post ... please excuse the short post }

Her usual expression never let up, giving an effect as if she where half angry, half annoyed. This was not to reflect that she was specifically so, she was just naturally that way. And honestly as of late, could you blame her? Her one possible paradise away from pain turned out to be a deathtrap. This anger was not directed at her aide. Taking a moment, she looked back to the fellow SAO prisoner.

She took a death beth, apparently forgetting once more that breathing was not technically neccessary here. "Oi, that's right. I'm new, I guess; Akua, level one, and barely so," she confirmed, and nodded. Then, she added. "Skills? I er...I think I forgot to select those; do I gotta earn 'em then?"

  18. Crystaline optics where ablaze with fury still. She had been wandering around for much time, attempting to figure out this deathtrap of a world. Why had she picked Sword Art Online? Why couldn't she wait for another VRMMORPG? But she was no God; of course Aoi would not know the ultimate doom that was in store for the SAO players. And now Akua was stuck; confused, angry, and endangered. She was left with no other choice but to do the one thing she dispised; ask for help.

Somewhat distrustingly, Akua looked over her helper. He had a green name apparently, but what if it was a trap? She had already heard that people where people of trickery, even in SAO. But she had no choice but to put some trust to him. "First, I need to know well..." she pause, slightly embarassed that she did not understand all of the game yet; she had not beta tested and was quite stubborn, so it was purely natural. "Look, how do things work around here? And... Where's m' sword? First things first."

For her there is no neccessary medium, And it makes it hard for her to function at times, and often complicates those around her
