  1. Row smiled before giving an overconfident wink towards Yona. She was indeed a tank. Tanks stood at the front like any good leader but more importantly, Tanks got to see everything first. Being on the frontlines, and getting the first glimpse of success, treasure, rewards. Anyone who didn't want to be one was just missing out. Plus, not dying felt nice. "Well, I cant speak for other tanks, but I just do my best to plan out each fight in advance. I would prefer to use EXCEL... but its too late to give feedback for this game. It takes a while, but I'm almost guarantee to always win and get the treasure haha."

Yona was the first to agree though she had to do something before they could move forward. After she left Almina asked her about this rock but again... Row was not really looking at Yona like that. She shook her head, "Sorry sorry, I wasn't paying attention. The excitement of another excursion always makes me narrow minded." When it came to Almina's second question, Row just laughed. "Well... it has been a game of chance. I found so many cool things, but sometimes, its like rolling nothing but Nat 1s. So that's why I was looking to extend my Network. I'm hoping, you guys could better my odds!"

With all the girls consent to go on the adventure to take out each field boss... not floor boss... Row began adjusting her own plans in her head. But, when Almina asked her to start the party she felt stars pop into her eyes. "No problem. I'll send you all invites but I have to redo some math. So lets meet up in say... 2 hours?"

  2. "Bite off more than I could chew? Haha. Silly silly Yona." Row raised her head as if she was winning a battle of the minds, "Difficulty had nothing to do with the sort. In fact, I would say the beast was quite easy." A arrogant chuckle followed. "No no, see. I just don't do damage." The girl remain smug though to what reason the world would never know.

When it came to more talk about the rock, they all agreed lag didn't exist. So Yona propose it was the other girl's imagination before grabbing her waist. The other girl did not seem to like the suggestion but well... who likes being seen as crazy. "Ladies. Moving rocks, non moving rocks. None of that matters. What matters is progress, adventure, loot, and field bosses! So what do yall say? We can even start from floor one if you want something easy."

  3. With Yona, it seemed that Row's response was good enough to get the woman to drop her metaphorical business sword. Though it see was misguided. This had nothing to do with ethics. This was all for getting out of the game and returning to the real world. Still, a positive relationship was better than being right... or understood in this case. "Not really. I took some economics classes in school but most of this is just stuff I picked up in my own small business." The girl would leave it at that since none of it mattered now.

When it came to her question, Row felt a bit embarrassed. "Yeah, I misspoke... *sigh* but yeah field boss. I fought one recently though it took me forever... "

Before that train of thought could continue, the other girl mentioned that there was a moving rock on Yona's waist. Row raised an eye brown and looked down lazily before turning to Almia. "Umm... are you sure? Maybe your lagging and its messing up with your vision? Does lag even exist though?"

  4. There will always be opposition when one has a dream, opposition and competition. "Ehh what's success without several dozen failures." The girl was not put down by the older woman's words. In her life, dozens of people tried to tell her what she could or could not do. More even doubted if such a future was possible. This time was different though. It was life or death. It was not about being wealthy or becoming the next Bill Gates. This was about ending this game. Still, she let the woman do her little speech. Rudeness did not get one many clients after all. Plus, what if the girl did have a nugget. With a cheeky smile on her face she pulled out a notepad and listened.

Note 1. Being all talk and no game. ehh, maybe this was true but it was also a little cynical. Technically I'm not advertising any services. But semantics were best left for the lawyers to argue. The other part was flopping. Well, I can speak on that latter.

Note 2. She assumed that I was not informed on the professions. A little presumptuous... I wonder if I should say something.

In truth, she was well read up on them all. She just did not know how she wanted to implement a profession into her plan. There was a lot to look at and it was truly possible that she might go something like blacksmith if there just was not enough "partners to fill a niche." Though again, this might be worth addressing too much.

    Note 3... an appraiser...

It was at this point that Row could not stay quiet. "Good business needs Good competition. But I fail to see why healthy rivalries can't coexist with healthy friendships Ma'am." Her smile sharpened as she tilted her head up "However, I wish not for my professional endeavors to be a reason to fight. Also, I did read the tutorial but thank you for the refresher." Returning the wink before turning to the 3rd girl and clapping her hands together.

It was here that she got to learn her name and the introduction ritual was finally complete. Also, she had the background of both girls. An adventurer who stopped for on reason or another and is very devoted if not insecure about her profession and a newbie who probably has very little experience with this game. Row was not sure what to think about the woman but the young mind could be more be more useful to her grand plan. Though it was too early to tell and after the interaction with Yona, she was not feeling like pushing her own dreams for now.

"Hmmm... Then I assume neither of you have successfully taken on any of the floor bosses?"

  5. The woman's response was not to far off from expectations. She did not radiate someone on the bleeding edge of the floor exploration, and they were in the starter town. Though now she had some questions. It was just unfortunate that she was going to have to wait till the newcomer had arrived with her "stylistic" entrance.

It was unfortunate that the girl could not make quick col off of the clumsy player, thought she honestly wouldn't have actually charged the girl. It would be bad for her image. Nobody wants visit the shop with an owner who tricks people for a quick buck. So she just gave a light giggle, "So have you been hurt outside the safe zone?"

When it came to in introductions for the 3, the clumsy girl started first. The girl smile before taking a deep breath. What was the best way to introduce ones self. "Its my pleasure to meet you all. Future owner of the Frontline Network... name still pending and subject to change. Row here!" She liked that though it might have been a little unprofessional to not have a decided name for her own network. Ehh, it did not matter. She lacked a profession anyway and they were on floor one. This was the place for starting your dreams. Who cares if some of it is a bit blurry.

"Speaking of being outside the safe zone," The girl turned to the older woman, "What made you stop exploring?"

  6. It was at this moment that another player spoke up. The girl flinched back, a bit startled. Getting a good look of the player, they seemed to be an older woman. They were not in beginner gear so clearly they left the floor. It was then that the girl processed the woman's joke. A light chuckle lead Row's response, "Maybe but, what's life without a little hope." She smiled before looking back up.

Now that she was out of thought, she was able to take proper notice of the sky. It was still beautiful. No matter how many days they are stuck here, it was still a treasure have such a view. "So I take it, your not one of those people who were too scared to leave the town?"

Meanwhile another girl much closer to her age stumbled onto the scene. This time however, Row would not react outside of a small smile. "Oh hi there. Did ya have a nice fall? Might I interest you in a band-aid or maybe a handkerchief?"

  7. (I accidently called them boars but they are wolves)
(Okay... so I messed up the hate gain. Wolf B should have had 2 hate on Zenshu, not Wolf C. So I am rerolling those wolves attacks. since Wolf B should have targeted Zenshu and Wolf C should have targeted me.)

    New Round

Zenshu continued to be the DPS she always wanted him to be. Cleaving though these Wolves' HP like it was a rhythm game. However One wolf was hit a little too hard and moved its attention to Zenshu. Row gasped and charged forward, "Zenshu, watch out I dropped aggro on one of them!" Before she could properly act, another wolf pounded on her back and took a clean chunk of damage out of her health bar. Granted it was not a lot, but since she was not ready for it, she could not counter act and pull up her shield. The rest of the wolves however were unable to act due to the shear force of Zenshu strike. When they did try to strike Row, she was already back on her feet and had all 4 wolves around her. It was here that she unleash her sword art and spun around like a top. It was a wild attack and managed to tag two of the wolves. However, the one that was targeting Zenshu escaped her grasp so she was unable to regain aggro.

  8. "Awesome. The hunt never ends when Yul is as stake. That's my motto." The girl laughed will reading over the item that dropped from the boss. "I wonder if we could find that thing called Demonic Shards. I recently did a quest that spoke about it. It seemed pretty cool and doesn't follow the tier system." She turned to the pack of mobs her partner pointed out. She was itching to see what her armor could actually do. Her stats shot back up after the boss died so she should be way tankier now. Also, she would hit way harder since her <<Declaration of War>> basically doubled its damage bonuses. It was less accurate but the risk should still equal out to her doing more damage. "But I go big. So imma aggro that one standing by itself as well." Standing in the middle of the mobs, she let <<Howl>> along a battle cry, "Come at me!"

  9. More vines shot out of the creature as it noticed the man charging. It knew it was going to die after this strike so it was desperate to finish off the player first. Unfortunately, the man was to agile and quickly closed the gap without so much as a scratch. Then he unleashed an 8 hit flash of strikes, turning the creature to pixels. "Lets go! Though, I don't feel like I did much. Ahh its fine though. Sometimes we get lucky sometimes the boss just spam AOEs critical attacks." Then she rushed over to pick up the special drop. <<Nepent’s Ovule>> was an item that was suppose to make it much easier to hold aggro when fighting groups of mobs. It seemed a lot better when she first heard of it but well, treasure was treasure.

"Thank you again. Um, this ended a lot quicker than I expected. Do you want to go kill some mobs since we are already out here?"

    +<<Nepent’s Ovule>> (Field boss drop)

  10. The plant monster was still looking at her which was great. She still had its aggro so she continued to heard its attention away from Zenshu so that he could fine clean its, and a clean hit did he fine. The boss was on a silver of health. So the girl decided it was time to take a big risk. She activated her <<Quick Change>> to change out her current Axe for her damage axe <<Declaration of War>>. All she had to do was land a hit. Just one hit. So she prayed to the dice gods and started charging her sword art. However, the mob quickly parried every strike she did and took no damage. On top of that, the girl lost aggro. The Plant monster lashed out a vine at Zenshu while grinning with confidence. "Zenshu, watch out! I lost aggro!" Things were starting to become a repeat of the battle she had at level one. The only difference was that her friend was not at risk of dying. Also, she would be able to use howl to grab aggro if Zenshu couldn't kill it.

  11. Going into her stance, she readied herself for the next round of combat. She circled the plant monster so that Zenshu could attack the beast while remaining out of line of sight? This was assuming the creature could even see. With this opening, Zenshu unleash a devastating 11 hit combo of slashes with his sword art chunking the beast below 50 percent. At this rate, she was sure they were going to win this in the next round assuming she was given the chance to counter attack. As the monster switched aggro, the girl let out a battle cry and charged forward unleashing her very own Sword art and a 4 hit combo. It did not really do any damage but it did force the creature to turn back to her which was suppose to be great. Unfortunately, the monster was really enjoying hitting everyone so it just well, used its <<Plant Frenzy>> again shooting out vines to ravage the area. "Really game!" Row shouted as she got lashed. "Why am I even tanking if your just going to do AOEs the whole time!"

  12. It did not take long for them to locate the monster. It was so weird and reminded her of a combination between a pocket monster and a digital Monster. "Disgusting. I can't wait for us to cut it down!" Her party member as also in agreeance as he lunged forward and unleash a devastating 8 hit combination of slashes and effectively chunked the creatures HP down to about 75%. It did not seem like a crit but the girl wanted to make sure she played this safe. Keeping him alive would end this encounter like 10 times sooner anyway. So she activated her skill <<Howl>>. Smacking her shield she proceeded to taunt the plant beast. "Over here big lips. Don't you want a piece of this?"

The Nepent looked at Zenshu before turning to Row. The taunt was successful. The beast opened the bulb on its head which bloomed into a flower. The monster's HP started to rise. Its skin stiffed. Then the beast activated <<Plant Frenzy>>. Vines extended from its body and then lashed out hitting everything in the area. The plant beast then roared and faced Row. "Ouch... bit cheeky of you to bypass my taunt like that foul weed."

  13. Row had been sitting at her table as the only player in this tavern for so long. It was almost time to start the hunt and with nobody coming, she was afraid she was going to have to do it alone. It was a bit sad but what's done is done. She started to stand up only to see someone enter the building. She gasped before clapping her hands excitedly. "Oh, oh, you saw my flyer. This is so great. I was thinking I was going to have to hunt this treasure alone but now I get to have help." The girl hastily left her chair and attempted to grab the other player's hand. "Yes, yes! I am Row. Hunter of all that is valuable. Are you ready to get an easy item!" She quickly initiated the party invite, "Being a damage dealer is Perfect! That should sync well with me. My build is a bit selfish and requires the enemies to hit me to be most effective. I hope that is all right."

Once the boy accepted the invite she would give a small cheer. "Awesome. lets go, lets go!" As the two started walking she started to explain the hunt. "So so so like you said, We will be hunting the boss on this floor.  The Man-Eating Shrubbery <<Nepent Variant>>. Now I'm not a man so I have nothing to worry about but My research tells me that it has some healing, an aoe attack... and... uhh... I think it can increase its defenses. Even if we don't have a party of 4 as long as you let me keep aggro, I'm sure we can take this thing out pretty quickly. Are you still up for that task Zenshu?"

  14. The <<Town of Beginnings>> was the place for new players to get their start. For Row, it was going to be the place to start her network. See, her dream was create an organization that went out and found the rarest and best of gear. With a big enough collection of this stuff, they would be the strongest and most wealthiest player. With money and power, they can storm through the floors and clear the game. Thus they would be heroes and everyone knows, respects, and buy things from heroes. Dollar signs filled her eyes as she looked around the town for any traveling adventurers who would be a great asset.

Walking around without a plan however was not very effective. This lead the girl to find a desert stand and order a shake. Then she plumped herself onto a bench and just looked up at the digital sky. "I wonder what I could do to find people with the right potential."

  15. It was time to go on a hunt. It had been so long since she did any "real combat." Today, she wanted to take on a field boss. She was sure she could defeat this creature now that she had all her gear but well this was something you were suppose to do with a party. In fact, this was something you were suppose to do at a much lower level. So in order to get the best experience out of this, she posted a noticed looking for a party and listing herself as a tank. She was not the best offensively but she did have her own special strat for things like this. Plus she had a new skill called howl. Given the events that happened on her last big party fight, she wanted to make sure she could properly keep people alive. All she had to do was wait for someone to answer the notice will sitting in a tavern at the <<Town of Beginnings>> which was also listed as the meeting spot for this hunt on the notice.

  16. "Thank you sempai. You would not believe the day I had. Its like I feel like I been asleep and dreaming for so long. But I guess I just don't know the game like I use too." The girl let out a laugh as the man walked away. Then there was a loud explosion. The girl's smile dropped wondering if this was a safe place or if this man knew what he was doing. She was not going to pay for terrible equipment. Her dream, her hopes to get out of the game required the best of the best stuff. After some time, the man came back with some nice T2 Heavy armor. "Oh wonderful! Now I can go exploring again without fear of death." He was right with this, she did not need the rare equipment no more. She placed the 7 mats on the table to trade and took the armor. "Hope we can do business again sempai!"
