  1. It was decided. The next color she would go for was the purple one. It seemed like the most logical color choice because purple was the most pretty of the 3 colors. White did look decent if it was clean but the orange was just clashing to much with the green grass. This made the purple flower the most valuable. She picked the flower and waited the short time that the game kept her in suspense. Another ping signal the appearance of the window. Another success round of material gathering. Now all she needed was one more flower and her objective would be complete. Now that she had one of every color but white, the choice would be obvious. The only question now was, could she successfully pick the flower? The pressure was on. The stakes were high. Should she fail, she would have to run to another patch and risk hearing the mans voice again.

  2. When she arrived at this patch, she noticed something different about these flowers. The colors of these flowers were not red, blue, and yellow but purple, white, and orange. Another thing that made the flowers stood out was the type of flower was different. These flowers resembled roses instead of the 5 petal daisy like flower. The awe factor died down pretty quickly due to her lack of care about flowers and she picked up the orange one. She paused waiting for the plant to died but it did not which meant that the window showing the results would appear any second now. There was a ping sound as the box appeared out of thin air. The flower disappeared and her mat count went up. Now all she needed to do was pick 2 more and she would be done with this quest. She looked down and tried to decide what color she wanted next.

  3. After a few seconds of scanning the patch, she located the biggest yellow flower, to her. In "virtually" reality, they all were exactly the same size. She plucked it and was disappointed. The flower began to wilt and die on her. Following its death, the flower's brothers and sisters all died to. Row waited for the voice to return, but lucky for her, it didn't. Giving a sigh of relief she ran further into the fields and searched for more patches. Then a thought hit her. Could she only gather from patches of flowers? She scan the fields again, looking for anything else that stood out besides boars. All she saw was specks of dark green grass with specks of color over a sea of light green grass. Well, at least there was no shortage of mats in this area. Spotting one that was only a few feet away, she jogged to the patch in hopes of having better luck.

  4. Row did not spare any time to wait for fear that the voice would come back. That was how some tutorials worked if a player stayed idle too long. Given that mans love of talking, she figure she had even less time. She reached down and swiped up a blue flower. A window appeared saying she succeeded in collecting the mat. She was surprised that it worked this time. That meant that it did not matter what color she choose, which was good. Picking only one color would be super boring anyway. With that in mind she looked at the last remaining color that she had not picked yet, yellow. With a grin she searched for a good flower that did not look like it was going to die, thinking she just chose a bad flower before. If she went for healthy flowers like that, she was bound to succeed right?

  5. She reached out and picked up a blue flower. As it was uprooted from the ground, the color quickly faded and the flower died. She cried in protest but her problems were only just beginning. The rest of the flowers started to wilt and die off before she could grab them. Not even the red ones survive. Shortly after, another window opened in front of her saying that she failed to collect any mats, not that it was not obvious to begin with. After closing the window, another window appeared with a different boarder. As she looked at it, the old man's voice echoed in her head. "Sorry you failed. Gathering mats is a very difficult task. To ensure you still get the experience in a timely manner, I will share some of my luck with you." The flower patch below her that died bloomed again allowing her to try again.

  6. ((OOC: Wont let me edit the above post so i am re posting here))

It did not take long for the creature to react to Row's failed attack. As it raised it's vine, Row noticed the shadow and gripped her shield. She refused to let the creature get the jump on her like it did the last attack. This was going to be its final attack. The creature dropped its vine and Row rolled to her back and raised her shield. The creature struck it and then froze. Seconds later, it rapidly evaporated into pixels. The fight was finally over. Row exhaled one final breath before dropping to the ground. While nobody was ever in danger, it was still a long and hard fight.

"It still counts as my last hit Dom. It was my shield that killed it after all." She laughed while lying on the ground. His next comment was not something to laugh at. "I think we need to kill 3 more. Still, can we take a breather. That fight was so long. I almost regret not having a sword skill." She did not even look to see if the boss dropped anything. Dom was there to protect the spoils and she really needed to quick break.

  7. Row reached down and pulled and pulled up some flowers. Then a window appeared and said she collected 1 out of 5 mats. She did not think it would be this easy since every mat she had has came from a mob or a gift from another player. This automatic system was 10 times easier then that and it was way less work. Row laughed and looked down to see more flowers growing in place of the old ones. If at first you do succeed, then try again to succeed more. That was probably not how the quote went, but she was sure that was how it would end after she was finished collecting the rest of the the mats for this quest. Looking down she noticed many different colors of flowers, some red, some blue, and some yellow. Since she picked the red one last time, she knew she would not want to pick it again.

  8. The only appropriate action Row could do was just to sign and accepted. As the quest window popped up, she reluctantly clicked yes. How hard could a tutorial quest be for a starting adventurer? She looked up at the man with her smile hoping to signal the quest instructions. As expected, the man started talking again and bombarding her with the instructions for how the loot feature works. After the explanation was complete, she sent her off to collect some materials. She quickly left the building to avoid any more talking. After running into the fields, she looked around for things that could be considered potion material. She has never searched for mats before so there was a chance she could mess up. After roaming around, she came across a patch of flowers. Surely, flowers would make great Mats for potions right? There was only one way to find out.

  9. The beast was still alive. Row could not help but giggle when Dom failed to kill it. Now it was her turn to go for the finishing blow. She figure the creature was very weak since it did not attack her and given its health bar, was close to being dead. Who knew how many more hits it could take. Hopefully it would be just one. She pulled her ax out of the plant but held on tight. Seeing another vine in the air, she made an attempt to leap to it.

     ID# 76608 results: Battle: 1

The plant saw her attempt and moved its vine just out of reach. Row clenched her teeth as she feel to the ground into a mess of vines. Once again, it would seem that Dom would get the last hit. At this point it did not matter to her, as the plant just needed to die. They were so close. Hope did not leave her eyes though, as their was still a way she could get her last hit in.

  10. The vine was too fast. With its speed and intensity, she was unable to raise her shield in time and thus was launched into a nearby tree. Once again her armor protected her from a really dangerous blow. Looking up, she saw that a certain someone failed to kill the plant creature and thus it was up to her. Now would be the time for him to get caught up in the weeds. "Well, I won't complain about getting the treasure. It is my specialty after all." With that, Row picked herself up and ran towards Dom. She jumped up and cut through the vine that held him in mid air. Then she charged at the plant creature.

She came down on the creature with a powerful strike. Her ax dug into the creature though it was not deep enough to inflict bleeding. "Well Dom, you might still get the last hit."

  11. Row put her hand over her face and giggled after being thanked for coming. It was good news that he was not mad, but he rest of his statement was a bit of a lit down. She loved to kill mobs and grind. It was her only way to get treasure. Still, she would not complain because she was invited to the dance. After reaching Dom, the teen started speaking with the guards. It was nice for someone else to take the lead in something. It meant she could relax and just enjoy the moment. It was going to be just as Dom said. After the guards checked them, he mentioned that they could have weapons. Row found that really interesting. Without armor to protect you, all you had was your Level and the occasional skill to keep you alive. This did bring up a funny idea that the girl could not help but share with Dom at a later time. When Dom turned to her after accepting, she nodded. "We won't be fighting so I guess its ok." They were granted entry. Still there was one final hurdle to jump as Dom spoke up.

"Hold hands?" Row whispered back. She was immediately caught off guard and slightly blushed. While his first statement about being new to dances was manageable since she shared that lack of experience. The question of holding hands was so much more... problematic. Why did he ask her to go to the dance. Was this to bond as fellow comrades of battle, or was there something more. What made this worst was the fact that she made such an effort to get that thought off her mind. Now she could not stop blushing. She turned away shortly after repeating those two words. She had never held hands with a boy. She probably should say no. She had to say no. They were not even a couple after all.

    "Su-sure..."

Her brain was screaming at her mouth for not listening. She never held hands with a boy and she already could not stop blushing. How much mental energy was it going to take to resist the urge to faint if someone she knew saw them. She turned back to Dom and continued smiling. At least they would only be walking in holding hands. She could bare that at least.

  12. "Ekk!" Row jumped when the bottomless stomach of a bear appeared behind her. She smiled as the routine started. There was only one thing on this bears mind and that was food. If one did not share with the bear, then they would have to "bear" its annoying little rage fits. Row was not afraid though. In fact, she was prepared for this very moment. Her eyes met with the bear and gave it a fiery glare. A smile creep on her face as she slowly moved her hand to her pocket. Just like when fighting a boss, every second counted. No movement could go to waste. This was a matter of life and annoyance. After the brief pause, Row pulled something out of her pocket lightning face and held it in front of the bear. "TAKE THIS BEAR!" In her hand was a cookie. Her plan was set. Knowing the fierceness of the bear, she would try to place the cookie down in order to avoid getting bit and run away to a different area of the shop. The cookie would distract the bear and hopefully it would go away.

  13. Love was in the air. Row walked around the town and saw all the couples walking together. At first glance, one would think that it was because everyone was in love, but knowing about the dance event that was coming up would dismiss that idea quickly. In reality, most of these couples were just partners to the dance and probably just friends. Row smirked as her wisdom allowed her to bypass such a silly trap and found herself at the water fountain.

The water was colder then the air but the sun continued to shine bright as if it was summer. Row let out a sigh. Despite being a treasure hunter, she has yet to find any good treasure. Her dream operation of becoming a merchant was shot down but the inactivity of her and Vargus's shop. She just did not have the ability to pull in gear like she thought she could. Her battles with the mobs were too long despite her armor and she had to be lucky enough to rely on edge cases to do damage. It was inefficient to say the least. The only solution she could think of was to get a sword art. The very thing she avoided during her last two uses of skill points. Even though she could increase her luck this time, was it the right choice. She lied down on rim of the fountain and closed her eyes under the sun. Even though she could smile, she did not feel happy at all.

Suddenly a ping sound awoke her from her nap. She opened her eyes and saw a message from Dom. "The monk? Wonder what he needs." She opened the message and read it slowly. She immediate stood up and crossed her legs. Her face was completely red. "Dom asked me to the dance." She closed the message and quickly ran away out of the opening into an alleyway. She wanted to cheer and scream but not in front of others. The embarrassment might kill her. Like you can take damage from being embarrassed right? Then her face turned to an even deeper red. "Is he asking me out?" She grabbed onto her chest and took a deep breath. "Calm down Ameko... you shouldn't make assumptions." This is just the event dance. It is probably nothing more than that. She gave a positive response and quickly made her way to the nearest tailor.

With her outfit ready, she made her way to the event. Without a watch, she had no way of knowing if she was late or not. Seeing Dom standing at the gate did not make her feel better. He could have been early but chances were that she was late. Still, was best not to make a scene. After all, without a watch, there was no way to tell.

"Dom! Sorry to keep you waiting."

Despite everything she smiled and giggle in hopes that he would be happy that she was here.

  14. "Falling asleep in the middle of battle... If i was the stupid plant, I would be highly pissed off. However, I guess that can be taken as a complement since you trust my tanking skills that much. Tehe." Row raised her shield to push off the vines which attacked her from above. After wards, the man attacked the creature and its health was in the red. A good hit from either of them would spell the end of the beast. When he questioned her order, she only chuckled. "With your damage output, this beast should be dead in 1 more hit. I trust you won't let me down." With that she charged at the beast and jumped into the air.

    ID# 76332 results: Battle: 5 + 2 (1 dmg)

She let out another scream as her ax came down and struck the creature yet again. Now the only way for Dom to be in trouble is to land a killing blow. However such a blow would kill the creature so it was a win win.

  15. Row sat up and angled her axe to cut the vines which was over her foot. As of now, she was more worried about being seen as clumsy vs dying to this stupid mob. As she freed herself, she noticed Dom jumping down from the creatures head. Since the mob was paralyzed, they did not have much to worry about. She saw him yawn as he held out his hand. "Tck, don't get sloppy Dom... we shouldn't underestimate an opponent. Every hunt should be taken seriously." She pulled her self up using his hand. Then she readied her gear and charged at the creature.

     ID# 76174 results: Battle: 6+2: 1 dmg

Since it was not moving, there was no way she could miss. She swung her ax hard at its base while screaming. The creature's attention was completely back on her though another big attack from Dom might change that. At this rate though, she doubt either of them would be in trouble now. "Dom lets finish this. The plant thing is too weak to kill us now."

  16. Row watched as Dom followed up with another strong blow. What ever he was doing was surely working. The beast was stunned again shortly after Row dodged it's vine attack. It also was bleeding again which meant it would not be long before the creature would die. If they both could keep up this pace, the creature would be dead in a few more rounds. Before she could enjoy the show, she saw the creatures attention shift if only for a brief moment. Was that attack too powerful? Row let out a sigh and raised her ax. Even though they had a few turn, it did not mean she could lighten up on tanking. In fact, it only meant she had more time to grab aggro safety.

Before she could do so, she ended up tripping again. She looked around not knowing what she tripped on, only to see the vines just lying around. "The heck... stupid vine."

  17. All Row could think of was how stupid it was that she could not hit the stupid plant monster. That was the whole reason for getting this weapon. These feelings only grew stronger when the shadow of a vine grew, signaling she was about to be crushed. Row rolled onto her back and raised her shield but it was not enough prevent the damage. The Vines came down hard taking out some of her hp. Row let out an irritated scream and pulled herself back up. "This time i will properly grab aggro Dom. Watch me!" With that, she began her charge at the monster.

     ID# 75866 results: Battle: 6+2 (hit for 1)

She let out another scream as she jumped into the air and slammed her axe into every vine that came her way. "I have it distracted, go in now Dom." After she finished, another whizzed to her but she jumped on top of it and dove to the plant monster, Ending her assault with a powerful horizontal slash

  18. Within he chaos came some sense of order as no one broke out fighting and entered their groups. Row was even surprise that the John did not tell at her. After all, she did say something to Vargas. She guessed she could blame it on the recent turn of events. That or she could blame it on the fact that it was time to fight the boss, and a fight it was. Player after player came out with their sword arts and high tier gear. One even managed to stun the creature but that did not stop him from very long. The tree did manage to launch an AOE on the second group and as her turn in the rotation came up, she could see that it was preparing for another attack. Still all hope was not lost, at least if the dice gods allowed it.

    ID# 75433 results:

Sadly, the gods would not allow it. Row ran up to the boss but before she could even swing, she tripped and fell on her face. She failed to make an impact if any on the creature. Now all she could do was hope she wouldn't die on its next attack.

  19. Even though Dom was ready to go berserk all over the boss, he listened to Row and backed off. While the boss was focused on her for the most part, she could tell that it was ready to turn on Dom at any moment. All Dom needed was one good hit before things would have gotten messy. She let out a sigh and quickly picked herself up with the help of Dom before starting at the beast. It would not be long before a Vine lashed out at her but she easily side stepped it and started charging forward. She raised her ax and let out another battle cry, hopping to stay the main focus of the plant creature. If she managed to hit the thing, she should have its full attention for a little bit. However, she would be force to have dom stand back should she miss.

  20. Row giggled after the monk answered. Even without the sword art, he probably did 2 times the damage she did. That would mean the battle would end 2 times faster, given he could hit. He only appeared to have missed once but luck was a funny thing. She scouted the immobile plant until the ground, which was its head, shook. Their break was about to be over as the paralysis was starting to wear off. "Am I the same person. I... don't... know. I never really looked at my real self much. I not really much of a true gamer either. I think though that behind a mask we all are a little different though." His next comment was not surprising at all. A lot of gamers are people who have troubles in the real world. They use games to escape their troubles and to vent out their stress. " She prepared to jump off the creature. "That wolf kid is very depressing though. However I try to stay out of others real life. Kind of my model with internet life ya know." She leaved from the the off the creatures head and raised her ax.
