  1. Dominion shifted his weight so to make an evenly distributed stance and, noticing that Atzo missed the attack, grinned. He didn't move at all from his newfound position, deciding to keep his distance from Atzo. "What an impressive attack while under such hot weather!", Dominion said, Enma suddenly jumping back onto his right shoulder again. Before Dominion could saying anything more, the snake's head returned to striking Dominion's arm. It violently contorted, it's muscles like a snapped rubber band. "If I were to name this snake, I would name it Sssalric." Dominion said and abruptly jumped into the air. He lifted one of his arms over his head, showing that he was doing something different, but would be unknown to a non-monk. He slammed his tiger fist into the head of the snake, sending it's head into the sand. A eruption of sand sprayed to either side, it's head now slightly covered by particles. "Sssalric, you are really disappointing Enma", Dominion said as he landed a few steps back with Enma giving his normal outward appearance. He grinned, as it was obvious that he was banking on this the entire time. He was more known for a different variation of martial arts, but he had yet to display that side of him to anyone.

  2. Dominion smiled while he swung upside down, and messy blond hair seeming to straighten. Row charged forward, striking the Nepent... for all he could tell. He adjusted his sight to see the health bar above the Nepent. It suddenly was affected by the BLD and PAR stats. Dominion would have applauded, but he knew that the fight was now close to even. He used his abdomen to curl up, grabbing ahold of the branch and adjusted his body to be back up. He then let got of the tree branch and came straight back to the ground, his legs slightly bent when he landed. Turning, he quickly made his way over to Row, but was abruptly stopped by a vine. Moving his hand in front of his body, he struck the vine with the palm of his spirit monkeys. After successful making another hit, he retracted his hand to his side and ran around the nepent, looking up at it's health bar. He only caused minor damage in comparison to Row's outstanding hit, as he was only a healer.

  3. Dominion smiled. Aoda, what an impressive name. Again, I don't recall ever hearing that one from the real world. Dominion realized that he was wearing his battle gear while in a safe zone, which he was told not to do by an NPC, especially on this floor. He quickly looked left and right, hoping the NPC wouldn't get at him again for not putting his armor and weapons away. Dominion returned his focus to Aoda, a player that apparently knew more about the quest than Dominion gave him credit for. Dominion lifted his arm forward and offered a fist bump. "Well, if you are already prepared for combat, we should go to the teleport pad and get to the fourth floor before other players get there. I would rather not wait in line for the field boss to re-spawn, not to mention a NPC has been nagging me to keep my battle equipment off while in the safe zone. I really don't want to be yelled at again." Dominion smiled, but a was clearly worried about being nagged again by the NPC

  4. Dominion made a sharp turn, another large dark green vine moving near his blue jeans. He continued to run for a little while, but he was beginning to get bored. Therefore, he quickly leapt into the air, grabbing onto the lowest branch of a large tree. He smiled as he grabbed the branch with his right arm and pulled up. He then reached with his other arm and stretched to grab the next branch up. The large vine barely missed Dominion's leg as he pulled his body up to the second branch. After Dominion adjusting his middle, he got all the way up to the third branch, where the vines would have difficulty reaching him. He smiled there, rotating his body to swing upside down, his legs folded over the nearest branch. He could look at the Nepent from this viewpoint, everything now being upside down. In the distance, he could see Row (upside-down) attacking the Nepent (also upside down).

  5. Dom couldn't help but laugh. He had the idea that Row would kill him if he got a monkey, but it seemed as though he would live to see another day. The last few times he had gone out, the monkey he had seen was out at around noon, but there was only one of them. Now, there would likely be more out. However, he didn't mention that aloud. The chances were much more in there favor if they moved around at night. Dominion caught the change when Row said I.. you. He knew this environment better than almost any person in this game, and therefore didn't understand her change in subject. Then, she said that he should stay behind him so that she could protect him. He didn't mind having Row protect him, even though he was still pretty sure that he was still a higher level than her. Dominion got the idea that she was doing this in part for potential treasure, which wouldn't surprise him. He smiled as he moved to be behind her. "Well, if are fixed on protecting me, you must lead the way." He could see and hear movement in the forest, most of which was high in the trees. Hopefully, another Nepent or Corrupt Butterfly wouldn't appear to hinder their path.

  6. Dominion was quick to move. He jumped over the serpents head, not in the direction of Atzo. He landed his feet in the sand and had to firm up his footing. He swiftly moved his foot in a crescent moon shape on the ground. This flattened the ground for which he intended to stand. He lifted his arms in the shape of the leopard style, a style he was unaccustomed to doing. He reached out with his fish, moving his upper body to yet again dodge the head and fangs of the enemy. As it passed by, he realized that it was too far away to even attempt an attack. "How does the snake miss me that badly?" He asked aloud, a grin on his face. He knew that this would prove Atzo's mind. Would he make an attack and risk the chance of taking agro, or would he stand still and wait a bit longer for Dominion to attempt to raise Aggro. To be honest, Dominion thought that he should do the former, as his damage did more overall and one successful hit would turn the tides back to himself. However, it was all Atzo's choice in this given situation.

  7. Dominion pulled himself up and jumped off the tree to land beside Row. She was patting the dirt off of her, which made Dominion feel a bit sorry. He had no intention of hurting Row, especially when he was just being his curious self. "Well, I am searching for a monkey. However, I am not quite sure where we would even find a monkey. I came across one of them on a previous adventure in this forest, so my closest would be in the forest on this floor. However, this forest doesn't appear to have anything but Nepents and for some gosh darn reason corrupt butterflies. Therefore, I intend to just walk around this forest until something pops up." Dominion said, barely seeing Row in the star/moon light. Definitely not Dominion's best plan, but this was his third search for finding a darn familiar, and it appeared as though familiars managed to keep themselves well hidden. Dominion lifted his arms behind his head, intertwining his hands in a resting position.

  8. Dominion ran fast. He ran, jumping off of a nearby tree, and grabbing the lowest tree limb. He pulled his bodyweight up and quickly leapt from that tree branch as another vine came close to hitting him. Landing on the ground, he quickly continued his run. Row called out to him, right before he could make his attack, mentioning that he could die. This surprised Dominion yet again. Wait, why does she care if I die? I haven't lost at any hp yet. Dominion couldn't focus and missed the branch he intended to grasp. His legs clasped as he rolled on the ground and broke off in a run again. His better judgement would allow Row to regain the attention of the Nepent. Dominion did a flip over the next vine, landing on the other side and turned his head to look over at Row. "Well, looks like it is all you then", Somehow Dominion kept a grin on his face as he ran and climbed trees.

  9. Dominion was on the other side of the snake now, still maintaining his style and form while protecting his face from the oncoming sand. His hands and arms were tense, yet flexible. He moved his arm to the right, while striking at the snake with his other hand. However, the natural scales caused his hand to move away, doing practically no damage. Dominion replied to Atzo's statement, his smile still present behind his right hand, which cleverly covered his mouth. "No, I actually don't have any sword arts. I got battle healing and first aid, but not really anything to deal damage with as of yet." Dominion quickly moved to the side as the snakes head whipped to the other side and focused on Dominion's arm. Enma jumped up and knocked the head down into the ground, an impressive display of force to say the least. He continued to speak, "It would surely make questing much easier if I was able to do damage, but that will have to wait. I need to show my worth before I try attaining a sword art."

  10. Dominion found himself wondering yet again, but this time it was the first floor. He stood at 6' 33/16" and had somewhat lengthy blond messy hair. Wearing an unbuttoned white shirt, his monkey armor, monkey engraved ring, an amulet symbolizing the monkey king, and his monkey spirit fist weapons. To his appearance, Dominion was usually the weirdest guy on the block, word spreading of his strangeness. A humanoid monkey, about 3 feet in size, would commonly stand on his right shoulder. He was, however, well thought of on the first floor, as that was where he helped out the newer players. He was in search of any new players that would willingly fight with him on the fourth floor, a specific quest that he had never done before. Whatever the thing was meant to be called, he heard to be the "Avalanche", whatever that was supposed to mean. He wasn't too eager to fight an Avalanche, as he couldn't figure how he would be able to fight back against an idea. He noticed a black haired man standing about his height, walking. Dominion walked up to him, smiling as he approached. He suddenly clasped one hand on top of the other, doing this in front of his own torso, and made a deep bow. Enma leapt onto his back as he did this, seemingly unimpressed. Dominion spoke, his voice as friendly as ever. "Greetings, my name is Dominion the Monk." He lifted his torso again, facing the stranger. "If you wouldn't mind, I would like to assist you on a quest. It is a field boss on the fourth floor. Be mindful, it is pretty snowy there." Enma climbed back up his back and appeared on his left shoulder now, clearly not amused by the change of sides. Enma crossed his arms, almost looking like a mini human ninja.

    @Aoda

  11. Dominion grabbed a branch and jumping and propelling off the large trunks to get to the ground level. Flipping the last several feet, Dominion landed, for a second giving the appearance of a monkey. He had mastered the imitation monkey style several years back, and was the only one capable of doing it with such great form. Upon landing, Enma jumped from a higher level in the trees and landed on his right shoulder. "Oh, yeah, I train in the trees. That is the environment that best suits Enma and myself, after all, Enma is part monkey. We have been out here all morning, but there was little to do besides climb, jump, fight, and run through the trees." Dominion smiled, his head aimed slightly up to get a good luck at the sky through the leaves. "I find it quite impressive, the capability of the designers in this game. I don't like what they did to us, but you can't help but marvel at how well the game environments were made. I am glad to be able to live in a similar world that allows all main attributes on the earth to travel to here." Dominion had begun to learn many things through Domarus, Wolfie, Atzo, and last but not least, Row. Dominion still had a strange feeling in his chest when he thought about her, but he would have to ignore that feeling once again.

    @Atzo

  12. Dominion made his eagle fist again and struck it down against the beast mid body for a consecutive hit. This time however, there was a sudden burst of Damage applied from his previous attack in the form of BLD. It really showed on the health bar. Dominion would have took a step back from the snake, but Atzo stood there. He didn't want to have the snake change focus and then target past him. He quickly made up his mind to jump over the snakes body, doing a front flip and moving his hands to deflect any sand from hitting his face. His motions were hard to follow, being that he used a technique that tricked the mind. Once Dominion stood on the other side, his health bar climbed back up to a normal level. Also, it was apparent that the snake wished to follow him, but due to being paralyzed, the snake wouldn't move. Dominion sighed as Enma returned onto his right shoulder, Enma's arms crossed in front of his body. Dominion crossed his arms away from his body, something he didn't do often. This next attack would look truly strange.

  13. Dominion lifted his hands, knowing fully well that he couldn't keep do his monkey martial art imitation at the moment. The sharp sand hit his arm, causing him to become tense. Fierce, like a tiger. He clenched his fist and shifted his right leg in front of his body. This would leave him wide open, but Dominion had been asked to build up hate. Therefore, Dominion struck down with his fist at the exact same time the snake moved to bite his arm. The collision between the tiger first and the fangs of the snake caused both to cause pixilated blood. He could see his own health drop immensely, but he was even more surprised to find the snake was frozen in place for a turn. Dominion looked over his shoulder at Atzo. "Looks as though you could strike if you would like. It is paralyzed, so there is hardly any chance that it could possibly attack you. Or, you could wait a bit longer in order to create a more solid attention toward me." Dominion said this, his hand still punctured by the fang that didn't immediately pixilate from combat

  14. "Well, that was quick. looks as though we need to find our way back though." Dominion said, his eyes looking around at the sand dunes around them. Something moved, which triggered an immediate reaction from instinct. He planted his feet, extending his arms out as sand hit his skin. Combat was about to start, and he could feel the pressure around him growing. Something was off, and it was clearly hiding in the sand dune. He remembered that his abdomen was completely pierced when he fought the field boss on this floor. He wasn't about to have that experience again. Suddenly, a massive sand snake shot out of the dune, clearly focused on Enma. Dominion wouldn't have this and moved in to either take the hit or commence battle with the snake. This snake was huge, and about twice the size in length of both Atzo and Dominion combined. Dominion, using his instinct, put himself into the eagle stance, an imitating practice of the Eagle. He struck down on the body of the serpent, causing a small amount of damage. Enma jumped over the snakes head and struck his body from the other side, dealing a fair boost in DMG.

  15. Dominion had gone out on this quest before, and he had been rather surprised about the amount of sand moving around. Dominion spoke, keeping his eyes forward, but covering his mouth with his arm. "Yes, but I do believe it was a bit worse at that time. I lost a fair amount of health right away, as now I won't unless we fall into combat. Dominion looked around, most of his sight blinded by the small particles of sand. Atzo mentioned a myth or lore about this desert, which reminded Dominion of Egypt. "Yes, actually it would likely have a lore similar to that of the Egyptian Desert. I remember them explaining that it was once a mighty forest, until the crops withered away and left nothing but hot rocks and small particles. That was the myth I was told." He turned to face Atzo, remembering something. "Do you remember that blued haired guy on the first floor on the first day? He appeared to be wearing cloths that suited this environment. Do you know anything about that?" Dominion realized that the man, Solomon, had vanished, and no sight of him had been found recently.

  16. "Well, I came here to get some hot green tea at the tavern, but I realized that Enma ran off", Dominion looked to his shoulder, seeing that Enma hadn't changed his outward presence at all. Enma suddenly did a flip over Dominion's head, standing on his other shoulder suddenly. Dominion just shook his head, laughing. Looking back to Atzo, Dominion lifted his own hand for a fist bump as he listened to him continue with a short statement of Dominion's good timing. "Well, if it wasn't that I knew that NPC over there and Enma leaving the tavern unnoticed, I doubt I would be over here at all to tell you the truth. It seems as though everyone is at the tavern today, which is quite strange. Back on the first floor, the tavern was rather quiet in the mornings and would build up players as the day progressed." Dominion just smiled, his hands in his jean pockets. "Well, lets not delay to much from searching for that cargo. If I remember correctly, this quest can really make your skin peal... literally." he turned to face outward, equipping his monkey king armor, spirit monkeys, monkey ring and monkey king semblance. He was ready for combat, if the situation were to arise while they were out in the shifting desert.

    @Atzo

  17. A rather large boar seemed to be attracted to the sight of Dominion who walked along the dirt path. The appearance of a boar that focused even on the dirt path outside the town made Dominion a bit anxious, as any random starting player would have difficulty getting past places with so many boars on patrol. Dominion extended his arms, aiming to take out this boar after several hits, even though he didn't wear any battle armor at that moment. It would certainly be a long and drawn out battle, as Dominion still lacked the skill required to take the beast down immediately. Dominion quickly moved in for a strike, but found that the boar wasn't taking the fight seriously. It just appeared to be walking around him, as if Dominion had as much time as would take, no matter how long the battle would be drawn out. Dominion noticed that Enma had gained the attention of the boar, and he therefore equipped all his battle gear with little prior warning.

  18. Dominion smiled, his hands warmed by the Hot Tea cup which he held inside the tavern on the sands of the fifth floor. He had messy blond hair, his white unbuttoned shirt equipped, but no armor. He had technically chosen today to be a freebee day. He planned to help out wherever he was needed, including the the lower floors if needs arose. He looked from side to side, as people seemed to swarm in for morning food. He could understand why they wanted food so early in the morning, but why were they all on the fifth floor? Dominion shrugged, taking yet another sip of the hot tea. It was going to be a rough morning, if Dominion had planned it out well. He intended to run in the hot sands once again, proving both his ability to suffer in tough conditions with little to no problem. He also needed to remind himself why he used the martial arts that he did. He was about to drink the rest of the tea, when he suddenly realized that Enma had been outside. He got out of his chair, leaving his hot tea on the table. He quickly darted out of the tavern, feeling the immediate heat from the sun, scanning the land for his little monkey friend. As he ran through the town, he came to a abrupt halt passing by the main exit out. The NPC, which had once confronted him quite long ago for a quest was now confronting Atzo. "Hey, you need assistance?" Dominion called out to Atzo, who stood a fair way out from the city wall. Suddenly, Enma appeared on Dominion's shoulder, as though he was never gone. Dominion turned to his right and began to laugh. "So, you were here the entire time?" Enma crossed his arms in front of his body, clearly not amused.

    @Atzo

  19. Dominion walked forward, his mind not really wondering for the first time in a while. He seemed rather focused, looking around at different. However, Domarus made mention to the dirt that was on his arms. It had been a vigorous challenge to try to find the familiar, and in the end he came back empty handed. Dominion kept his head forward, keeping a lookout as he spoke. "Why, I was out in the forest of the first floor looking for my familiar. And you are not wrong to think that it happened a long time ago, but I would consider it to be pretty recent. The one familiar I did manage to find also made the rest of my adventure a really tough." Dominion about laughed, "I would have gone out again in search again, but it seemed as though there was another interesting quest." Dominion shrugged his shoulders, still keeping his eyes pealed for any sight of a minotaur. As of yet, there was really nothing there.

    @Domarus

  20. Dominion, wearing his armor, all his accessories, and wearing his unbuttoned shirt, jumped from one tree limb to the next. His hair shifted with his quickness, as he no longer ran through streets. Instead, he competed against Enma, who jumped under the protection of the tree canopy. Dominion leapt onto the next tree, but suddenly raised his hand. Someone was moving nearby, and that person had a red cursor. He would need to be cautious. Therefore, Dominion didn't move quietly but called out to the player. "Are you friend of foe?", Dominion called out at the sky, knowing that the player heard his call. However, when voice carried up in the trees, it became difficult to pinpoint. Also, Enma moved silently through his environment over to the player. Enma returned moments later, a strange expression on his face. Dominion realized that Enma didn't know how to communicate, but through generic interactions. Dominion shrugged, turning his head to look down through the leaves. He jumped up to a second level, gazing down on him. "Yo, Hydra, it's Dominion!", he called down, smiling profusely. "Been a while"

  21. "A player in the forests of this floor is stuck between mobs that I can't get through. I tried to pass through the mobs, but they quickly blocked my path to him. My damage output is so low, even if I attracted a few, at least one of the Nepents would have strangled him to death. That is, except the player managed to draw them into a place where they are at a standstill. I wish to help this player, but time is important and they seemed to be waiting." Dominion spoke quickly, frantically trying to come up with words faster than he had ever done before. "I wish to make this player my brother." He completed the statement, making it apparent that this was the last step. This was what Dominion required in order to serve his commander. He quickly placed his hands together and bowed to Domarus, "I request your assistance in combat to protect this player, as I have found a person knowledgeable of this man to try and talk him into returning to town. The man of which I speak of seems to have background information on the player, from what I can tell. As I called out to the stranded man, he did not reply. I will go and alert the knowledgeable man of this, and request his knowledge to bring him back." Dominion's facial expression seemed stressed beyond his age, as though he had been loaded with a burden that even the monk couldn't handle. He finished with opening a letter from his personal journal that wrote about his adventures, flipped it over, and wrote a small message on the back. He addressed it to the characters name and threw it outside. Unnoticeable to the naked eye, Enma had snatched it from the wind and went to deliver the message. Dominion, having done this strange act, turned back to Domarus, mere seconds having passed. "Will you help me?", this question was completely lacking of Dominions usual spirit, his usual strength lost. The situation that Dominion was now attempting to overcome was nearing impossible, yet he still used his strength and courage to continue.

  22. While standing next to the teleport pad, Dominion noticed the form of Domarus, Rhozarth, Keres, and her snake Porvos. Upon their arrival, Dominion seemed to perk up. He made a quick wave to Keres, not to be disrespectful to Domarus, but because it required much more time to make a good bow. He greeted Domarus with his signature bow, although his arms were still rather dirty and bruised from his expedition to find a familiar several days back. He clasped his left fist over his right as he lowered his torso. He was somewhat surprised to notice that Rhozarth bowed to him. This was not a normal action from an animal, which made Dominion confused. He didn't mention it though, as he rose to look at Domarus. Domarus made it pretty clear that this quest would be pretty easy, mentioning that there would be two minotaurs at relatively low health and damage output. Dominion smiled, swiping his right arm and suddenly materializing the golden fist weapons, which covered his hands and lower arms. The Monkey Ring appeared on his left hand, Monkey King Semblance around his neck. Last but not least, the Monkey King Armor materialized over his unbuttoned white shirt. This by no means completed his intended appearance, but would have to do until he could acquire more unique armor. Dominion finally spoke, "Well, I say we enter and start this quest."

  23. Dominion, with Enma supporting his own weight on Dominion's shoulder, walked out of the alleyway. They quickly took a turn, and then one more which would lead directly out of the town of beginnings. He quickly realized that the players were already out and about, taking on foes. He would be one of those people, fighting to make his way with a group. However, at the current moment, there was currently no guild that interested him. He had sworn his loyalty to Domarus, a man who obviously had the talent needed to make a difference as a leader. Dominion looked toward the ground, trying to find the dirt path that lead to the forest. He would need to get this before he could return and also complete his quest.
