  1. Dominion ran back from his adventure, having just saved a players life. He could not be for certain who this player was, but he felt as though they had crossed each other once before. With his hands out of his pockets, running back into the town of beginnings, Dominion burst through the open doors into the city. He made quick and fluid movements, trying not to waste time. He ran through the streets, Enma jumping off his shoulder and making dashing movements around him. Dominion, once he had finally reached the Painter's Stones, came to a stop. He quickly opened the door, searching for Domarus. He had to be in his shop, or the blue haired guy might successfully run off and not give him the chance for communication. Dominion was both weary and excited. He knew that the player within the woods was someone who could display far superior actions than himself. Not only was Dominion not able to impress or convince the man to return, but that player had become pinned by 4 Nepents, each in the forest with substantial health. He could not allow his friend to die out there, but it was apparent that this blue haired man was somewhat strategic in his own right. He had made the situation into a standstill, finding a place just out of reach of the Nepents, but being pinned against the sizable trunk of the forest tree. Dominion just needed people to get him out, but Dominion would need the at least two other allies for this combat. Once being a formidable speaker, a formidable fighter, and a formidable leader. The other, to Dominion's knowledge, was someone who knew Solomon outside the game. Together, the three might be able to talk Solomon back into the town of beginnings.

(Post order in this thread, except while combat is taking place, does not matter.) @Atzo, @Domarus, @Solomon

  2. Dominion woke up one morning while still lying against the first floor building in the alleyway, having slept a couple days from a long and tedious quest. His unbuttoned shirt slightly moved around with the small breeze that moved through. He recalled that there was one quest which he never completed, and it had been so long that he had forgotten it until now. Wolfie had gone somewhere, and the likelihood of his return was low. Dominion would still hope that one day he could see that man again. Suddenly, Dominion leapt into the air, landing on his feet. He looked over at his new monkey companion, who stood at about his knees, looking very unimpressed. "Enma, how can you be so negative? Did I not display my physical talent on your level?", Dominion began laughing. Dominion extended his arm and Enma jumped onto his shoulder. Dominion was rather large, but it wasn't even noticeable to Dominion. He needed to go out and find that guy, who stood in the forest trying to hide from him. It had been quite a few days since he went out.

  3. Dominion stared blankly in front of him, fully aware of the man in the building. This wasn't because he heard the man, or saw him for that matter. Dominion could trace the line from which the dagger had been thrown. Although, hostile attacks usually triggered something in Dominion, he just smiled. Maybe this guy knew something that he didn't, but he wouldn't be allowed to take out his friends, especially on his first day in the game "Do you not also know that any animal with a tongue can use it's own tongue as that animal wills? A dog may use it's tongue, a cat may use it's tongue, and even a camel may use it's tongue. Have you never walked around in the real world and confronted an animal? Are not humans also animals?", Dominion said, his smile genuine. "If humans are animals and animals have tongues, do you not also have a tongue, speaker of your own mind? What makes you any different from another human being, such as Stripes, who uses her human talents along with the talents of another animal to support herself? You choose to make an opinion on someone, without giving them the chance to show their worth? However, I can also tell that you have a proficiency with your thrown dagger over here. Are you not also disturbing a conversation by using your weapon without adequate introduction?" Sarial had threatened the dude before he could speak, but Dominion didn't want to interrupt her. Dominion finished up his long line of comments and questions to the man in the window by saying, "Even so, I invite you into this conversation. The name is Shaggy."  Dominion tried to wave, but he was clearly not accustomed to making that gesture often. Rather suddenly, Dominion was startled by someone arriving outside of his field of hearing and sight for the second time. Sarial turned, having just threatened the dagger wielder and having begun to blush, and said something to another stranger. Dominion, after regaining his composure, raised his hands, placing one hand over a fist and in front of his chest and bowed when his name was mentioned. The man had messy black hair, which was very similar to his own messy blond hair.

  4. Dominion was surprised by the quickness of the things happening around him suddenly. This blue haired kid yelled like a lion, it echoing through the buildings, and made a resonating noise. Dominion didn't need to hold his hands to his ears, but he could see that the woman atop the building stopped. Suddenly, the man fell down to the ground, his hands holding his head. It was clear that these two knew each other... Well at least one of them knew the other. Dominion was commanded to run up and save the girl atop the building, who was debating jumping. He turned around and bolted to the base of the building. He grabbed the frame of a window and began to climb, using his training to climb up the wall. He swiftly reached out and grasped the top of the building. He pulled up his body and pushed the woman back onto the building, keeping her from falling off. "Please forgive me", Dominion said, hoping that she wouldn't get angry.

  5. Dominion smiled as she quickly stood up. It was obvious she had somewhere to be, as she opened up her notifications and saw an alarm. That was good for him, so he could go back to his regular attire. He waved as she left, still contemplating his past actions. He didn't get to hear any of the interesting fight stories, which disappointed him for a brief second. Then again, he had reason to believe that she would live long enough for him to converse with her about this at another time. It had been some time since he had talked to another person from outside his friend group. He turned his upper body to order another cup of hot tea. Vale was definitely someone who could fight, and hopefully there would never be a day where they would be paired up against one another. He waited for the tea to arrive, unbuttoning his shirt once again.

    -Summary

    Vale: 200 Col, 1 SP

    Dominion: 200 Col, 1 SP

  6. Dominion didn't catch the girls arm around his neck, but he could definitely tell she was holding his hand. She pointed out something, which he would be able to open and get a view of the menu. From there, Dominion was able to open the map so that he wouldn't get lost. Dominion was very thankful for her help. He put his hands together and bowed as he would in the temple many years back. He raised his torso to see the other girl walk up and give him a book. she handed it to him, and he became fascinated by it. A bunch of the terms were foreign to his understanding, but he would still thank her as well. But, before he could, he noticed the tail of the Cat Girl move around her friend's leg and he perceived it, obviously confused. To further the confusion, she jumped a meter further away from him and stated to the Cat Girl, "I am going to poke you with my sword the next time you do that!". Dominion smiled, almost letting out a laugh. "You do a pretty good interpretation of a cat. Stripes will be your nickname, since you so graciously made one for me." Dominion turned most of his upper body to look at the girl that gave him the starter guide. "Thank you so much, Sarial, for the book. Do you have much practice with swords? I don't mean to be rude, but I would rather not lose my arm when you attack Stripes." Dominion asked this question because it seemed as though nobody he had met really knew how to use there weapon. He was included in this, because he seemed to wield his double edged great ax as a two handed long staff.

  7. Dominion didn't quite understand how looking at another person was "uncouth", but he would have ask others to truly understand. "He nodded his head. So, did you practice Muai Thai every day for six hours?", Dominion asked, his memories of working the fields for an hour, eating a small amount of food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and then kung fu for the rest of the day were his earliest of memories. He decided he would answer her question to the best of his ability, even though he didn't know how to elaborate on most of the places. He first lifted his drink to his mouth, tasting the green tea of his "homeland". Dominion lowered the hot tea, which was now beginning to cool down slightly, back on the table. He began his story from his homeland, and then would elaborate to each individual country he had been to. "I have about 6 stories, but I have technically been in 8 different ones. Each has a story, but some are more focused on my time there and less with the people. You could say that most people don't respect traveling monks."

"Well, I grew up in a Shaolin Monastery for the first several years of my life. The first place we moved to was Egypt. I have no  idea why my father chose Egypt of all places, but it was sandy and hot. The people, for the most part, didn't care to talk to us, and soon they requested that we leave. Apparently my dad took that to heart, because we moved to somewhere else in Africa next. The most memorable thing that happened in Egypt was on a hot day, I decided I would climb a tree. Being Naïve, as people have made well aware to me, I thought that humans could fly like birds out of trees. I don't know about you, but to see a kid climb a tree and purposefully jump off, it must have been a sight. To be totally honest, I couldn't feel any of my muscles, so it wasn't as though it hurt. Then I took notice to the birds wings and came to a conclusion that birds fly due to weight and body parts." Dominion finished his personal story of Egypt, knowing that he had gone off onto a tangent. "The people that inhabited the area were generally rude to us, but I would say that they were not necessarily in the best boat either."

Dominion then began to describe the environment with a much greater detail. "The sand was like fire during the day, and ice during the night. I remember having to wear a weird piece of cloth to protect my eyes from the small particle things that bounced in the air every once in a while. There were both the poor and the wealthy, as seen in most societies. People that were of less wealth usually attacked or stole from the wealthy, which solved no problems. Sometimes as we would search for a place to stay, we would see a river flood it's normal boundaries. I still don't understand how that was possible. More importantly, the area near the river was actually lacking sand, with more brown dirt along the banks. When I went to Greece later and saw the ocean, sand was what held the waters up. I don't know how they took all the sand out from under the river and put it on the desert, but I still think that must be natures greatest feat." Dominion was brute honest. Anyone who knew him also knew that he never told lies. He grew up with only the experiences he had come across, being mostly, if not only, monastery martial arts and a much lesser amount of Buddhism.

  8. "Thousands of people watch fights?!" Dominion about launched out of his chair. He had never heard of such a thing, not once in all his years. He would fight alongside his "Shaolin partners" at the monastery, but never were there thousands of people watching them. He sat back in his chair, completely stunned. He could only imagine this girl, around the age of 5, fighting another 5 year old in a classic sparring match with a giant crowd surrounding the small sparing circle. Her question about his "Well, the ones that I have fluent are Shorinji Kempo, Drunken style, known as zuìquán, Confusing Path style, commonly referred to by the monks as mízōngquán, Arhats 18 hands, luóhàn shíbā shǒu, and technically, there is a variant called Arhat style, or luóhànquán, which is different enough from the 18 hands to be considered a seperate style." Dominion knew that those terms would probably hold little to know meaning, but each was a real style that he had become proficient in. He realized that he should at least explain his recent lack of practice in one of them, "It has been too long since I last practiced Shorinji Kempo, so I will need to test out my ability to fluently move through the movements in combat sometime soon." He then asked another question in the form of a comment, which solidified his idea of when fighters began to learn. "I bet you started when you were really young, close to around the age of 4 or 5 judging by your current physique." Dominion maintained eye contact through all of this.

  9. Dominion couldn't quite get a picture of the sanctioned fights in his head. He was confused with the idea of rules and conditions. "So, what exactly does it mean for a battle to be sanctioned. And why would a fight hold to rules and conditions? Does not a fight break past any rules when someone loses their composure and "rages"?". Dominion refrained from one other question regarding winnings. He couldn't understand how someone could bring home payment from a battle, but he would let that question pass. She then asked him to give some of his own stories. He leaned back as he thought about it. "Well, my stories are in no way as incredible. I do basic training ever single morning, honing in my senses and reflecting on what I was taught. As for stories, I have fought as many as ten specialized martial artists against myself at one time when I was six, but never once was I able to beat my own father in one to one combat. I am proficient in over 5 variations of martial arts taught to me by Chinese monastery monks. Those monastery monks made me work harder than any person should, running until you can no longer run and practicing until you no longer feel any of your muscles. My dad helped me build up a tolerance to sharp objects and I mastered one imitation kung fu style taught to me by the head monk." Dominion said, basically giving away his stories as if they were super normal for everyone. "And around the age of seven, I went about traveling from one country to the next, learning new things and maintaining my training." The bartender came over with a cup of hot green tea, having just been brewed. Dominion accepted the drink and took a sip. "So if I understand right, you say that you have never fought alongside another martial artist before?" Dominion asked, placing his hand on his chin and raised his eyebrow slightly.

  10. Dominion didn't realize that he was gazing at the blue kid... Well, now that he got a good focus on him, is appeared as though he was several inches taller than himself. Dominion was somewhat shocked by this size difference, but that wouldn't keep him from greeting him. However, the dude walking back to the bench was telling him that it wasn't nice to stare. Dominion knew better than to do that, but he also needed to concentrate, however that would happen. He took up the red haired mans offer, walking over and greeting him with a somewhat ridiculous display. "Hey, so.... could you by any chance tell me what a video game is? I heard that big guy in the sky said something along the lines that we are all going to die. Also, how do I do anything, because I can't even figure out how to put away my giant ax." Dominion asked the man.

    @Solomon

  11. A man, truly puzzled by the information he was given, was walking around the city in circles, his mind following with a flurry of thoughts. He held his head, puzzled by the game system. He did not even know what a game was, let alone why they would be able to leave the game thing in the first place. Either way, he could not find his original friends that brought him into this mess, and now he was stuck with no explanation. Dominion paced, his 12 foot long double edged great ax was held with ease. He put his left hand on his chin as he walked, wondering what he would do without anybody to give him any information. He stopped where he stood, several feet from entering the town square, holding his head in his left hand. Somehow, everything would turn out fine, but he needed to find people to talk to in order for him to begin fitting in with the community. He found it strange that he stood next to a blue haired guy, several inches taller than himself. However, Dominion had kept walking, since he was already so flustered.

  12. Dominion shook his head in the affirmative, "yes, the name is Om.... Dominion and I don't know what I am doing." Dominion realized that he almost used his actual name, which might confuse the players that looked at his username. "What is this videogame that everyone is talking about? Is it some word describing how I see stuff? My friends placed something on my head and I saw a light. They told me that they would explain it, but I don't know where they went." Dominion himself took a step back, and moved slightly to the side so that he could keep an eye on the cat thing, holding his great ax in his right hand. "Then I suppose the two of you know each other?", Dominion asked as he spoke the first thoughts on his mind. "I have continued to walk through these small mini roads (alleyways) for three reasons, first being that I am lost, second being to calm down my emotions and third being to find people and ask them how this stuff (Nerve gear) works. If you are somehow able to help me with any of those, I would greatly appreciate it."

  13. Dominion remained chanting for about a minute further before he opened his eyes. He could hear a player's footsteps from somewhere nearby, getting a bit louder by the second. He stood up, putting his weight on his left leg, aiming the massive double bladed part toward whoever was coming. Thinking about it, he needed to find people to talk to. He had questions after all. Dominion swung his great axe around his shoulder, placing the double bladed edge of his great ax up toward the air like a walking stick and began to walk. He wore a white unbuttoned shirt and blue jeans. He was physically built and as agile as a monk could be. As he moved around a corner, Dominion raised his double bladed ax and did a front flip, moving around what he could only guess was a humanoid cat, and stood face to face with Sarial. He couldn't take a half step back or he would lose his balance. Not to mention, he was startled because he thought there was only one person. He didn't know what to say standing so close to a stranger. "Who are you?", Dominion said, as he turned his head slightly to look back around, realizing what he had just seen. His follow up question was, "and what is that?". Dominion was not afraid of cats, but that humanoid cat thing was completely different.

  14. Dominion held his arm out steadily as the giant monkey grabbed a banana. It was obvious that this monkey was not on the extremely aggressive side. Dominion asked the monkey what it's name was, and it just stared at him like he was an idiot. Dominion was surprised that this humanoid monkey couldn't talk. "Well, if you don't have a name, why don't I name you Sun?", Dominion asked. It didn't seem to be paying any attention to him. He realized that the health bar had shown up by the monkeys original name. In that name slot, Enma appeared. Dominion said it aloud, not realizing that the monkey turned it's attention directly to him. "Oh, so that is your name! I hope we can be good friends, Enma", Dominion said, extending his arm out to the giant monkey. Enma didn't understand the gesture and crossed his arms. Suddenly, it shrunk to only half Dominion's height. Dominion realized this and turned, testing his luck with his familiar. "Follow me, we need to return to the city!", Dominion called to his new familiar, who didn't seem to understand anything he really said.

    Summary-

Dominion: 2 SP, 200 Col, Enma-Familiar (approved by Calrex in Evaluations)

    Solomon: 1 SP, 200 Col.

  15. The giant monkey stood like a human and looked down at his offering, waiting to see if Dominion would do something. It wasn't as though Dom would try any tricks on something that was notorious for playing tricks, according to legends that he had heard. Dominion smiled, his hand beginning to shake. To Dominion's lack of knowledge about this mob, he was also reluctant to do much else. What if this mob could literally one shot me? Am I really willing to risk "death" for trying to persuade a familiar like this to join me in this game? I must at least try, because this is not something that happens every day. So while keeping a good attitude, Dominion was able to steady his hand and arm from shaking. The monkey took one banana from the bunch and peeled it. It ate it, which was hopefully a sign of peace. Dominion would not lower his arm until he got some sort of sign from the monkey that he wouldn't kill him immediately.

  16. Dominion turned his head, hearing a rustling of leaves. In the distance, he could see the blue hair move through the first layer of tree trunks that created a barrier around the clearing. Dominion had to ignore whoever that person was for the time being, since he himself stood face to face with a giant monkey on the ground, an environment that was not superb for Dominion's favored martial art style. Dominion slowly moved his had to his bag, not knowing if the monkey could actually match him for agility or strength. Dominion scrolled down his inventory searching for the bananas that he had gotten from his first search for the familiar. This monkey was not what he had in mind, but he wouldn't complain as this was far cooler than anything he had dreamed of catching... at least hopefully. He handed the bananas slowly over to the monkey, which seemed reluctant at first to take them from his hands.

  17. (Hope you don't mind Dominion joining. This was back on the first day, which means Dominion did not have ANY of his current stuff. He used a 12 foot long, double edged great ax at the time)

Dominion was walking around with his 12' long massive double edged great ax, clueless of what had just taken place. He looked from one side to the other, still stunned by the giant figure that had appeared in the sky. He was walking by some blue haired dude that was on his head, spinning, who seemed to just show someone up. Dominion kept moving though, trying to find someone who would have answers. This place was a metropolis that seemed like a good area to live, but he just wanted to find his friends and return to the room which he was staying in. He walked into the alleyways, a place very, very unfamiliar to him. Looking from left to right, Dominion quickly got lost. He finally stopped, dead in the center of an alleyway, sat down and folded his legs. His dad had taught him to focus his mind when he was troubled, and so he did just that. He placed his massive great axe across his legs and placed his hands together in front of his abdomen and began to chant. He managed to keep it quiet, as it seemed to echo between the digital houses when he spoke. This was done in some ancient Chinese ritual, taught to him by a set group of monks in the real world. He now had room to think, but that was not what he wanted to do. He had so many questions and nobody to ask.

  18. Dominion gave a quizical expression, questioning why she would care about his own attire while at a tavern. He had entered many times on prior days with many people, but none of which had ever made such a comment about his attire at the table. "Well, I will not do something that makes you uncomfortable. However, I did not think this was such a "special occasion". Most people that enter this tavern just do what's customary to do for themselves." Dominion was reluctant to button his shirt, obvious that he never liked to be formal. He moved his seat back a bit more to button from the bottom up, then looked up again. "Alright, lets say you were asked to fight someone to which you have no quarrel. You are offered something substantial in exchange. Would you do so alone, bring a single friend, or ignore the request completely?", Dominion asked, knowing full well that this question was out of nowhere. He was told that she would answer all his questions, and so he put it to the test immediately.

  19. Dominion, after he had turned to see Row come in for another attack, turned and jabbed his open palm into the Nepent a second time. The Nepent suddenly froze up, unable to move it's vine that was clearly targeted for Dominion's throat. Dominion began to back up, as he expected to see Row run in for an attack. "wher..." Dominion broke off his words as he turned to see Row on the ground. Her axe was a few feet away from her. "Oh, Row, are you alright?", Dominion turned his head and then moved it back to see the Nepent beginning to move again. He looked back to her, a smile still on his face. He quickly ran over to where Row laid on the ground, snatching the ax from the ground with incredible speed. He was, if for no other reason than because of his armor, a very agile person. Also, his starting weapon was a 11' Double Bladed ax, which would also explain the speed in which he could pick it off the ground. He would have to play *catch me if you can* until Row made enough successful hits. He stood beside Row, throwing her the ax and breaking out into a run around the Nepent.

  20. Dominion, before he finally could hear the rushing water crash down on the rocks that trailed some 35 feet below, came face to face with a giant monkey. It was so large, honestly it was even bigger than himself. It simply towered over him, as it stood like a human. It had a white mane of fir, down the length of it's back. The strangest part of the humanoid monkey was the cloths. It was wearing human clothing, stuff seen by agile fighters. It had a white mane, almost resembling that of a human. He was stunned by the sight of this creature, majestic in its own right. He reached out to grab it, but the humanoid monkey slapped his hand away and jumped, bursting through the thick trees into the open area. "HAY?" (acronym for how are you), Dominion called out to the monkey. He jumped after him, bursting through the trees.

  21. As Dominion remained gazing into the distance with his feet around the solid branch, his torso floating in the air, he could hear the sound of rushing water. He turned his head, keeping his hand over his eyes to block out the light, to look at the tree trunk. Written there on that tree was a weird circle with a, arrow thing pointing up. It had some weird symbols that resembled hieroglyphs. He remembered his travel to Egypt, one that was rather short lived. He could remember how symbols stood for real world things. Dominion curled his body forward and moved his body around the branch so not to be upside down, and to be kneeling on the tree branch. There, Dominion read the map to the best of his ability. He looked at the squiggled lines near the main x sign, most likely resembling a creek or river. Dominion took off immediately, finding the next map, and then the next as he soon would approach the clearing.

  22. He grabbed one branch, which beneath his body weight split immediately, and caused him to fall. Except, Dominion was accustomed to this. He quickly grabbed the next branch down, bent his lower body toward the trunk of the tree and propelled from there. He exerted a great deal of energy doing this, but he found it very stress relieving. It was not every day you could just travel through the trees with such ease. He placed his hands on the more sturdy lower top branch and pushed his body upward. His legs wrapped around the branch above and he tightened his back muscles to lift his torso up like a push up. He now was planking his body parallel to the ground, but he was only gripped to the branch intertwined by his legs. He looked out, placing his hands over his eyes to get the best view of the tree tops. He could not see much else from where he was perched.

  23. Dominion swung his way to the midsection of the tree. He loved the forest environment, besides the mobs that infested the bottom and middle layers. It was more uncommon to see Nepents that had made their way up trees, but it was most certainly not impossible. Dominion was careful of the vines he would pull, remembering his other two attempts to find the familiar. With the trees so pact together, it made it easy for him to grab random branches and make his way to the top layer of the trees. This part, being so high up, was a challenge to his tree climbing abilities. He would proceed with caution and possibly just stay on the level he was most comfortable on... Just kidding. Dominion purposefully took the challenge with no thought of safety whatsoever. He climbed to the very tops of the tree, making great leaps to reach the next fragile branches in his way.

  24. Dominion took rather long strides to make the direct path through the sparse trees as fast as possible without exerting unnecessary energy. Almost immediately, Dominion found himself having to walk around trees, partially causing Dominion to lose his sense of direction. The light rays formed from the sun were being blocked by the canopy of leaves from above. Dominion knew how to deal with this, but he would have to find a vine first. Dominion walked around a tree, and found that there was a sizeable branch about eye level. This branch will work, Dominion thought as he reached up to grasp the branch. He quickly swung his body up and, once his legs were on top of the branch, he jumped to the next accessible branch from above. Dominion grasped the next branch with ease, being that he trained his body for this sort of environment in the real world.
