Kyoto was amazed on the bluntness of Freyd. Although flattering to hear what the man had to say about his new get up it was just another outfit that he's encountered over the time of being stuck in the game.

Listening to Freyd and his weird ways of talking was confusing the poor white haired man. He wasn't sure why Freyd was doing that but then it would hit him as they exit the mines. After he heard the old Freyd talking. "Was is just for show?" he thought to himself. But with no hesitation Freyd explain what was going on and told Kyoto what was going to happen in the quest in a brief statement before heading into action.

With no hesitation at all Freyd already took out 4 bandits. And yet many many more to come. Kyoto shouldn't hold back after all this quest will only drag out longer if Freyd does all the work.

With that Kyoto would charge up an AoE sword art as 4 more bandits would approach him. Managing to hit them all but wasn't able to kill them. He looked over a Freyd. Maybe he took on little more than what he expected.

"Mind helping me take care of some of these guys?"

Sitting on the stool waiting for Freyd to show up Kyoto would sit there and think to himself. Remembering the day he came into this world to all the tragic things that's happen since he's been here. Between old guilds to old friends. Things just doesn't seem to change. The only difference is this is a new chapter in his story and this time he's hoping this one will end up in a good ending.

Listening to a familiar voice talk to him he turn his head looking at Freyd. The little joke he got from his comment was almost funny enough for him to chuckle. He gives his captain a nod before getting up off the stool. With his new attire the white haired boy turn into what would be a more cyberpunk style gear. Something that gives off the wrong vibe to people but still shows that he's still there mentally.

"I'm always ready to go beat up a bunch of bandits. Where are we heading?"

Kyoto's tone was different. More serious and less lost and confused. Seems like joining the guild changed his view of things and some would say it's for the best interested that he did. His goal is to liberate theses people and that's what he'll do.

Just another day in the death game and Kyoto, wearing his new gear that Ren created for him, was on another adventure with Freyd. After joining Firm Anima, Kyoto has put on the challenge to join up with Freyd to help around the guild. The only thing is... He's needing to get through the level grinding.

Stepping off the teleport platform Kyoto looked around to see if he can spot Freyd. With the plated samurai sticking out like a sore thumb, it shouldn't be to hard for Kyoto to spot him. But the one thing he was surprise about this hell hold of a world is... there's tons of players here.

Walking toward the inn, Kyoto would sit at one of the stools in the main settlement of Yōgan Village. Waiting to see if Freyd would be around this area.

"Maybe it would of been easier if we just private message each other when we want to meet up instead of just expecting the other to fine the party."

He said to himself.

It was a quick and simple task for Ren enough for Kyoto to hang around. 

Receiving his order Kyoto looked at it with a smile.

"Everything looks great! Good job once more Ren"

After putting the gear in his inventory he pulls out the materials he owes and lays it and extra down on the counter. As he heads out the door.  

"Hope you have a great one Ren. Give me a message if you want to go on another adventure again."

He smirks as he quickly walks out the door shutting the door on the way out before heading to the teleport platform.

Teleporting to the 21st floor Kyoto felt confident for once in a very long time. Finally it was a day he's able to upgrade his gear and he knew exactly who to go see. While walking up to the shop of his guild mate Ren he grab a hold of the sheet to fill out his order before calling out to Ren to let him know that he has a couple of new orders coming his way.

"Hey Ren. Long time no see. I see you're still going at it with your shop. Great news... Got new order for you hope it's not to impossible to create."

Kyoto smirks before handing Ren the slip as well as the required materials for his order.

It was at that point while listing to Freyd ask these deeper questions is when Kyoto truly open his eyes and see what he really wanted to do. He wanted to be in the frontlines but at the same time wanted to scout ahead and clear the way. Things that he never thought about wanting to do before joining the guild. Something he wasn't sure that he could do in the past.

"If it tells you anything... I want to be in the frontlines. But as well as scout the area and clear the path. Someone to be able to spot and plan out the way to the boss room."

Something he's never done before but is willing to try his best to make sure people get out of this death game floor by floor.

"Hopefully that's what you're looking for. Although I'm willing to do all sorts of things. But... I feel more confident in scouting areas and reporting in."

After his response he hears Freyd welcomes him into the guild. Kyoto gives a soft smile with a nod to Freyd.

"It's a pleasure to be a part of this magnificent guild. Freyd."

Listening to Freyd talk was something else as they walk closer to the gates. The thing is Freyd asked Kyoto all these questions and one thing he thought about was. What would he be good at. But after thinking about it for a while, he notice one thing. He likes to deal damage. But most importantly Damage over time.

"Not really sure if this is much of a build but I'm wanting to go for a DoT DPS build. It gives me a chance to analyze the fight and proceed what I need to do while still dealing damage to whatever I'm attacking."

He hopes what he said make sense and hopes the Freyd might be able to help him with that build. He has the basics of it down right now but not efficient enough to say it's a good setup with the gear he has. The only thing now is to just work on it while proceeding with missions from Freyd.

Kyoto smirked while listening to Freyd. It wasn't to often you see Freyd blurt out things about his personal self. But at least he's open about it. The other thing that made Kyoto smirk though was Freyd explaining the O&I for the guild that he has recently joined. The nice thing though is that the guild has a lot of his friends that he's met over the time of being alive in this death game. The thing is... This is the first time he's been part of a guild for a while now and the fact he decided to join one again is what amazes even him.

But with that he followed Freyd up the mountain thinking about what Freyd said about the difficulties of the offer he gave him. The difficulty could be challenging but the only way Kyoto is going to get better and stronger is by taking up the more challenging quests.
 
"You know... I think I'm going to stick with my word with the offer. I know it will be tough but like I said before. If you're the one leading the thing I'm sure I'll be fine. After all this is the only way for me to get better and finally get out of this death game."

It was quite a surprise to what Kyoto saw. The fact it doesn't take much for Freyd to slice through the fiend, was the reason why Kyoto wouldn't mind doing quest with him. Just watching amazing movement in the blade is what makes the grind enjoyable with the man.

"Ha. I think I'm getting better at planning things while I'm under pressure."

Kyoto looked over at Freyd while sheathing his sword. The only thing is how reliable is Kyoto to a man like Freyd. Listening to him mention about someone able to think while in a fight over swinging there weapon without a thought is something Kyoto has been working on. After being with Freyd, he's learned to think a few steps ahead and try to plan out what they need to make the fights easier.

"I think having you around is what make me think differently in fights."

Kyoto waited in silence listening to Freyd mention about having him around for O&I. Something he hasn't been thinking about much but with Freyd he feel confident that it would be a great time no matter what the situation would be.

"You know. I'll take you up on that offer. It's not to often I get asked to join someone in an adventure."

Kyoto chucked a little after hearing Mac mention about how good the armor he got is the reasoning why he doesn't see the plated knight often.

"Hey can only get my gear from the best am I right?"

Kyoto looked carefully at Mac listening to him asking a few questions. Mostly about the quest. The quest is self explanatory. Decipher the stone's secrets and proceed with the rest of the quest line.

"I've heard a lot of my friend talk about the quest but I never done it before nor do I know where to go."

His response was quick and simple but to the point which is how Kyoto typically talks. He doesn't have time to sugar coat his answers nor does he think it's necessary to give extra detail to such basic questions. The only thing now is. What all is Mac wanting to do with this quest. And as far as Kyoto is concern he's just happy to have the company.

"You know if the armor is to much you can always take it off. I rather have you feel comfortable than lug around extra weight just because of your image."

With his sights on a charming young woman. Kyoto would hear her respond to his question about her name.

"Elora"...

It's a name he's not familiar with. Both in game and including the real world. But who to say that her name wasn't just something that she used before. The next thing he notice was the fact that his remark about her being smoking didn't impress her. There again. Kyoto never was a romantic type of person but what he said seems to offended her.

"No... Sorry... I normally don't attempt to flirt... To be honest I don't know why I even said what I was thinking."

Kyoto looked down in disgusts but then raised his head up with a smirk.

"Would you be interested in doing a quest with me while you wait for your friend to show up?"

He's hoping that his confidence would be enough for her to say yes. Even though he's not the strongest player between the two. He hopes that this might be the chance to try and make a new friend.

"It's alright if you don't want to I just figure I'd offer since we ran into each other and you're already having to wait."

It wasn't much time after these two finished their attack was when Freyd mention to Kyoto to show what he has. The fact that Kyoto was capable to stun the beast was one thing but being able to get another hit off was another thing. This was the chance to show one of Kyoto's close friends what he can do.

With that though, Kyoto charged up the sword art and charged at the serpent. Connecting his straight sword to the scales of the snake he mange to get another hit off. This time though it wasn't as much as he like. But with the amount he's able to get he's still happy with the results.

"Hope that's enough for you Freyd. I did all I can do."

It was only a moment until he finds out if Freyd is going to finish it off or leave it to Kyoto. But either way Kyoto would be ready. It's was only a matter of the odds of Kyoto hitting for the third time in a row. Something he doesn't feel all confident about. But only time will tell.

"How's it looking over there with you? Hopefully I look better now than what I did the last time we saw each other."

It was quite a communal act hearing what Freyd has to say but at the same time it was game face. It wasn't long until Freyd pointed out where the beast was hiding and like last time Freyd asked Kyoto to flesh it out. The nice thing is it didn't bother Kyoto one bit.

Jumping over rocks and parkoring through the area Kyoto would find a way to push out the Serpent while charging up a sword art. With no doubt though Kyoto would struck the serpent with a stun sword art looking over to Freyd before shouting out.

"You're up Freyd!"

Kyoto jumped out of the way watching the fight move toward Freyd. This would be the first time he would see the new Freyd and what he's capable in doing now. The only quest is how much would Freyd hold back. It's one thing Kyoto always thinks Freyd does and sometime it would upset him knowing that Freyd could potentially have pretty much kill this thing in one hit.

It was another day in the death game and once again Kyoto is on the first floor in The Town of Beginning. It was a nice sunny day with the weather at the optimal settings but yet he was down here for one thing. To get started on a quest that was suggested to him. The thing is the person who suggested to him recommended to have a party. Not like Kyoto wasn't strong enough to probably take this quest on his own but it does help if something goes bad.

Walking toward the central square where it all began, you'll see many players still. A bunch of them never leaving the city from day one. But at the same time. A lot of people now are slowly wanting to find a way out of the game and the only way to do that is to grind up the levels and actually try to fight the floor bosses.

It wasn't long until Kyoto though would spot a player that looks like he's well leveled and might be in the same spot as him. Or maybe they're just wanting to help new players out but either way it's none of Kyoto's concern. Walking up to the man though he looks carefully before speaking.

"So I'm assuming you're here for a quest? Maybe one about a dragon and journals?"

Kyoto was trying to make the info clear about what he's wanting but not enough to make a fool out of himself. But it was only a matter of time before he hears back from the strange man.

It was truly amazing to see how many quest Freyd has been on since the start of this world. And it's truly an amazing feeling when you realize that each quest feels like a new story each time you do it. That includes the ones that people repeat just to help another player.

It wasn't to long though that the two of them started to see more of a beautiful site of this floor. The fact that since this is a VR game you can physically see it and hear the environment is what's stunning. Unlike normal MMO, this game has a lot of features that is revolutionary. And the fact that even small detail like the soil breaking up over time by people travaling on it or even the monsters creating the degrade is what makes it even better.

"You think one day once we beat this game... people would see this world  and appreciate the true beauty of it instead of the feeling of constant death from what us players have gone through?"

It wasn't long after the two mate regroups with there antiquates when what seems like the head of this small town showed up. It also wasn't a surprised that Freyd already knew what the man was going to say. The thing is this is the first time Kyoto did anything with this quest and so he wasn't sure what he's going to witness. For that though he listen to what Freyd have to say when the time comes to defeat whatever lies ahead.

"So I'm assuming this is defiantly not the first rodeo for you is it?"

He said with a smirk on his face. It doesn't surprise Kyoto at all. Freyd always seems to be that one guy that would go out of his way to do quests with other's to get them to there goal. And as of last time they met Kyoto's goal was to get to the frontlines and help them defeat the game. And that is what Kyoto was going to do.

"So how about you lead the way and I'll follow along does that sound okay to you?" 

It wasn't to long until Freyd walked up. The thing is he was different. But in a good way. The last time Kyoto saw Freyd he wasn't all decked out in heavy armor. But on the bright side it does suit him better.

"Hey man.. things are going well. Been a while since I've seen you. Assuming you've been busy in the frontlines here lately? There's a buzz going around that you guys are about to fight the boss."

The white haired boy gave a smirk.

"Hope you guys beat it. Can't afford to lose a bunch of the main assault group. And hopefully soon enough I'll be up there with you."

Kyoto looked down at his gear. He was still wearing the same coat and wielding the same sword as last time when he was with Freyd.

"Nothing to serious has changed from me. Although here soon I'll be able to grab new equipment that is slightly better than what I'm wearing."

Kyoto was excited for this now he knew what he had on his side of things. Kyoto grab a couple of potions he bought just the other day for this adventure and chugged them down boosting his stats a little as he prepares himself for this quest.

It wasn't long ago that Kyoto got a message from Freyd about meeting up and doing another quest again. But this time Freyd suggested getting some items before partaking in this quest. And exactly was the quest was something Kyoto is about to find out about. Grabbing the potions from a shop was the one thing that Freyd mention to grab. But for the most part he was just to bring his A-game as this is one of the harder quest that Kyoto has attempted to do.

The nice thing is this quest isn't extremely difficult but one has to deal with annoyance that comes ahead. The only thing is... Kyoto has to find Freyd as he didn't specify the destination of the meeting up. He looks at his messages to make sure he didn't miss anything that Freyd mentions as he walks into the small town of Rig. It was a small town but it was very well peaceful.

It was another day for Kyoto and a request from Freyd for him to stop by a shop to pick up some potions for the next quest they're about to go on. The shop was on the 13th floor one that Kyoto doesn't come to often. But this time was different. If Freyd recommended him to get this then they must be going to a dangerous area.

Walking in to the shop though he doesn't see the owner. Oz seemed to be out of the area at the moment. But luckily Kyoto wasn't asking for anything custom made but something from his stock. Picking up the items he's needing. He puts the materials on the counter and a note next to them as he wonders off from the shop.

Walking closer to the green haired girl, he starts to hear her ramble about some strange things. At first he thought she was losing it from the heat on this floor but after hearing her talk more he realize that she was being sarcastic. But then she mentioned about a quest that she was trying to remember. He wasn't following what she was saying. But for the most part he had to agree... Why is she on this floor? Most people come here to deal with quest not just to there own pleasure.

"I would ask you the same thing but I'm here for a quest. I'm assuming you're looking for the same thing?"

He was curious since it seems like the heat already hit her from what she was talking about before he met up with her. But that doesn't matter much.

"My name is Kyoto, what's your?"

He looked at her carefully. A girl with green hair light blue eyes and a figure that Kyoto would find attractive it's almost like the Gods was trying to set him up to for some fun.

"Boy you're looking pretty smoking and that isn't because we're in a literally fire death pit."

Kyoto smiled as he saw the embarrassed Ren get so flustered. But then they both looked over at Larbrook and Kyoto crucked a little after hearing what Ren had to say to him.

"You know this was quite fun and eventful. Probably been the most fun I'd had in a long time."

With that Kyoto patted off  some of the dirt from Ren before they headed off once more this time Kyoto stuck in the back keeping Larbrook in the middle.

While on the move Kyoto would hear Larbrook pointed out how he did a good job. Aiding his teammate when they're needing it.

"It was nothing. I couldn't have Ren deal with all the work while I stand here and do nothing now could I?"

Kyoto smiled once more.

"And Ren If you're ever want to go on another adventure just hit me up on a DM alright."

Kyoto open up his friends list and added Ren into his friends list.

Yet another day in this death game and Kyoto wasn't sure what was worst. The game or this floor. Kyoto always hated to be in floor 9 as it was literally hot to the point it could kill you. But with nothing really to do and looking for some action, he figured he roam around this floor for a bit to see if anyone is in a need of a party member for quests.

With that though he would walk around the main settlement hoping that no one is on this floor but that's not always the case. Even though this floor is literally hell, it didn't stop people from coming here to do quest or just out grinding to gather material or even exp to level up. But the one thing he notice was a green haired girl walking toward him and just like him was shocked about seeing another human in this god forsaken floor.

After matching his eyes to hers he walked up to her.

"So what is a person like you doing in hell for?"

He chuckled hoping she would play along with the joke as they're literally in a floor that is literally hell.

It wasn't to much longer until action kicked in when both Larbrook and Ren get's smashed by the wall next to them. Looking over after the dust cleared he sees Ren making his attack toward the Minotaur, Kyoto would hear Ren yell at Kyoto to attack from the side. Kyoto nodded then start to shift his direct to the side of the Minotaur before activating his sword art though he notice Ren was having a hard time trying to hold it off.

Charging in to attack the Minotaur though he manage to crit it as the Minotaur vanish into millions of pixelated shard pieces. Kyoto looked over at Ren.

"You okay there?"

Kyoto slice his sword in the air before sheathing it.

"This could of went way worse depending on our positioning huh?"

Kyoto lend a hand to Ren helping him up if needed.

"These things are quite annoying after a while don't you think? Good thing they're fairly easy to beat."

Kyoto listen to Ren. What he was saying is true.

"Yeah. I feel like in the situation we're in, people with common goals would be better. We all have that one goal of saving everyone trapped in here. I don't see it as us showing our ego but the one's that are wanting to be saviors if thousands of people."

Kyoto smiled as he listen to Ren talking to Larbrook. The fact the big fellow even gave an answer was a shock to the both of them.

"Is that all you have to say? There has to be more to your story than that."

At least that's what he thinks. The game could have him program to just say basic things if the player tries to interact with him while partaking the quest.

"So do you know how much further we are before we encounter another Minotaur?"

The young white haired boy question toward the other two but mainly Larbrook. He wouldn't think that Ren would know but at the same time he doesn't really know if Ren has partake in this quest before or not.
