Well, if you go to a merchant/shop and purchase equipment you can obtain items of different rarity with different stats for fighting. Some increase stun chance some damage some evasion and other accuracy and armor mitigation. you normally can by these from people with material or col which the best way to get some is through earn a living quest

I have two of my three items the third will take a little bit longer.
