When I had started singing I was sure that this Saphira girl would tell me to stop and that she might even threaten me with slapping me again, but instead she told me that they really were a couple and that she might even try the part with the tree. Damnit, how could she just ignore my teasing. I thought I understood her But that had to wait, as I walked into the shop and this old guy told me about the quest. After that we left the shop and I asked her if she knew where to go. Saphira told me that she knew and that we would gather the mushrooms first. Besides that she told me that she would look for materials herself and if I had a problem she would protect me. Like I needed someone like her to protect me. I had to smile thinking about the equipment I gained already. My armour would absorb quite a bit of damage and the Battle Axe, even though it wasn't enhanced would still deal a nice bit of damage. When we left the town Saphira equipped a nice looking scarf that reminded me of the cloak Hei had worn. Maybe it was some kind of sign for them being part of the guardians of the new dawn, as both of them looked like a rising sun. I had my newly made uniform equipped already, so the enhancement should have been active. Once we reached the border of the forest I started looking for something that looked like a mushroom and remembering what Saphira said I tried to stay at the border, not going deeper into the woods. After just a few minutes I saw a big one and quickly grabbed it. The mushroom disappeared and an Item appeared in my Inventory, being marked as a quest item. "Hey Miss Saphira, look at this. I already found one" I called her with excitement in my voice.

After I had apologised for talking about Hei like that, the girl told me that she was more than friends with him and I instantly had to smile and I didn't even try to suppress what was coming next. "Uohhhh, so you two are a couple? ^^ Saphira and Hei sitting on a tree, kissing like glued together like honey and the bee" I knew the rhyme wasn't very good, but I just couldn't resist singing it along. I had waited for with this so She had first told me how the guardians were and so we were already standing in front of the shop when it finally broke through me and I sang the funny little song a few times. Then I remembered what she had said. So this was the shop I had to go, maybe I should just enter and find out what would happen next, and so I left her standing there, still humming the tune along as I entered the shop. It looked a lot like a chemistry laboratory, so he probably was an alchemist and as I entered he started talking to me, telling me that he wanted to help me, but that I needed to gather some materials for him. The materials he would need today were a mix of blue berries and what seemed to be orange mushrooms and he told me that the berries grew on bushes that were right outside the town, whereas the mushrooms grew at the edge of the forest. I agreed to go and search them and then turned back to Saphira and asked her if she knew where exactly to find those materials.

I was not really prepared for her reaction. When I had told her that the old man in the hanger was a creep I had hoped she would just stop going there and so we could be on out way towards the quest quicker, but it seemed she knew the guy. How should I have know that this girl was friends with that dude? Well, I couldn't change it at this moment, so I just nodded and looked to the ground like I would do if I was sorry. "So...sorry, I'll never do that again. A..Are you friends with the nice man?" I asked, as it would be good to know as much as possible. If I could get any information I could use against her, I would have some safety from her. When she then told me, that she was going to help me with the quest and that she would lead the way, I smiled and thanked her already. Then I opened the menu and sent a party invite to her. Once she had accepted the invite I noticed the symbol next to her name. I had seen it once before, and I remembered the words the guy from the hanger had said. If you ever need help, you can always ask someone from the guardians of the new dawn, we're a nice guild And this girl that had slapped me and was close to doing it once again was part of this one too. "Thank you Miss Saphira, it's really nice of you to help me. I just saw that you are part of a guild, how is being part of it?"

It seemed my plan had worked out quite well, as the girl helped me back up, even though she really didn't liked what I did. Maybe I can have more fun with her, but I have to be careful, I don't want to get slapped again, and she even threatened me with doing it again, if I come to close to some parts of her body, even if it looks soft. They really were soft, but I would not go close to them, at least not for a while. Maybe if I get to know her better I can get her to let me touch them again ^^. I noticed that her gaze was wandering over me, and that she seemed to look for something, but I did not know what for, so I just had a better look at her, when she asked me, if my name really was Runa. "Uhm, yeah. That's right Miss. I'm Runa, the defender of sweets. What about you. You must have a name too, don't you?" I asked her, but she already continued asking me what I was doing around here besides what I just did. "I was just looking for something fun to do, and maybe I should have a look at these quests. Oh, and I met a nice old man that made me these cloth" I told her, opening the jacket a little more, so she could see the ripped sleeves and the skirt that looked way to short but somehow still didn't revealed anything. "Do you like it? I think he really liked the skirt being so short, you should have seen him when I changed into these cloth. He looked like he was going to start drooling. Maybe I should have played with him" All of that came out of my mouth without me really thinking about it. Then I went back a little and asked "Do you want to help me with these quests? I don't really want to go outside all by myself, maybe there are more people like this old man, that would like to see whats underneath the skirt."

Slap!!! I hadn't expected this. The girl slapped me before I could even react and then quickly stood up. What should I do now? Was there anyway of getting it back together, or even better, I'll just cry and make her regret hitting me As soon as the thought crossed my mind I started crying, tears rolling down my cheeks and everyone in a hundred meter radius should be able to hear me. At first this seemed to not be very effective, as the girl coldly asked me what I was doing, but soon enough her voice became softer and she more or less apologised for the slap, even though she added that she knew I was faking the stumble. Damn, how was she able to see through it. I thought it must have looked really authentic. Slowly I stopped crying and quickly thought off a way to get out of this situation. I made my best sorry child face and then still sniffing said "Sorry Miss, I... I just wanted to feel them. They look so soft and no one wants to play with me. I thought this would be fun to start with. I have seen other girls do this. *Sniff Sniff* C..Can you forgive Runa her mistake? I will never do it again, but it's so boring always just walking around this place."

As I had decided that I wanted to start my new life as adventurer I was walking around the town of beginnings to gather some useful equipment. At the edge of town I found a cluttered workspace with a teenager working in it. As I had just gotten my new outfit from the Hanger for free I was about to ask this one if he would help a small girl like me too with giving a free item, but before I was really able to say anything he greeted me and told me about his prices. "Well, that's good to hear. I really need a weapon from you. And some more things beside that. How about I fill in the forms and you tell me what it'll cost me" I said with a smile on my face. I took two forms and filled them in quickly, then handing them to the boy to hear what they will cost.

This quest is non-repeatable, however any player may participate in a thread to accompany the quest-taker.
Background Information - An old NPC man, dubbed 'Zackariah', is in the Town of Beginnings. He plans on helping the new players of SAO by helping them understand the basic's of Sword Art Online.
Quest Objective
-Go fetch five(5) Tier one materials and give them to Zakariah.
(Go into the wild and gain materials though non-combat gathering and by rolling the LD, and linking it to a post. These materials are then given to the NPC)
-Help Zakariah in his workshop by crafting a Healing Potion.
(Roll the CD by linking it to a post.)1-3 fail, try again| 4-6 (Good Quality- Success)| 7-9(Rare Quality-Success)| 10-12(Perfect Quality-Success)

It was a nice and sunny day, just like all the days on the first floor were, when I left the brick building that housed the Hanger. I had just gotten free equipment to enhance my vision and the ability to find stuff, so I could start my new life. I had been in the town of beginnings for to long and now I finally had been bored enough to find the courage to start over again. I wished Gen was here to see me and help me I thought, but he wasn't because he saved me. With my thought circling around these dark days, I had to do something to get my brain back to the fun part of the game. Like finding someone tease. Shortly after I left the Hanger I saw a black haired girl walking towards the shop and she looked a little bit like she allways was a wallflower. With a big smile on my face I walked towards her and when she was just about to pass me, I made it look like I stumbled, into her, knocking her over with me and as I really liked this in the anime I saw when i was at home tried to land with my hands on her boobs. I squeezed them a few times, sniffing my nose as if I was about to start crying and gave her my best sad childs expression before I climbed off of her.

I had decided that this was the day I would start my new life after I spent the last years just living in the town of beginning, and what else would be the perfect start for my new life then getting some new equipment. With this in mind I walked through the town and looked for a store that looked like what was searching, the shops in the town centre weren't personalized as I'd wish, so I wandered through the outer quarters of the town. After some time I found a brick building that looked promising, so I entered the shop. Inside it looked even more like a personal shop, so I looked for the owner. A black haired man was standing at the counter, and as I walked towards him, I noticed a sign telling me that my first Item would be for free. "Hi there, I am looking for some nice looking outfit to help me with starting my adventure" I said, my eyes sparkled and I looked as cute as possible, so he would for sure fall for my girly charm and help me. Then T remembered the sign and asked "I saw the sign saying I get something for free, is that right?" I waited for him to answer, but in my head I already made plans for what to order. I had to get a version of my schools uniform with the changes we made with my gang I thought and then took an order form and wrote down:

About: History/personalityRuna's life has been a concatenation of disasters, that finally lead to her getting the game and getting stranded in the world of SAO.
All started when she was a small girl. Back then her father was one of the leading officers in the Kobe Police Department and a series of gang cruelty had started to spread around the town. Kobe had been a big city already, but the police hadn't been prepared for what had just started. Her father was leading an operation to end the gang war and so he was investigating the leaders of one of the gangs that were involved to find evidence and press charges against them. He actually was pretty successful with his investigations and soon he knew about things he better hadn't known. The gang bosses weren't happy about the police knowing about it, so they decided to use other ways of getting rid of the charges. They kidnapped Runa to press her father into stopping the investigations and dropping the charges. That was the day that Runa learned to not trust humans. The kidnapping went over smoothly as they took her from school, telling the personal that they were supposed to help Runa's Mom. Once they had the girl, they brought her some place in the mountains where she wasn't able to run away. After hours of Runa crying and being scared for her life, they finally brought her back, as her father had agreed to stop the investigation.Following this her father had to leave the Police, as he didn't want to risk his family, and as the police saw problems in him actually talking to them instead of investigating the crime. With Dad losing his job, and the traumatic memories of being kidnapped Runa soon started to lose interest in going to school. Her one year older brother noticed that she did not go to school any more, but instead went to the docks, playing at the water and learning to swear from the works around there. He wasn't happy about it, but still allowed it, as he had pity for his sister. Her Dad wasn't able to find a new job and so he started drinking, losing the contact to the family more and more. After the first year of bad life he left the family to protect them from himself and everything went to worse. They had to leave the house they had lived in to live in some kind of little flat and their mother had to work all day, so no one was there from them. Gen, her older Brother, had to do the housework and make food, but he still went to school. Runa used her days to stay at the Docks and play with a hobo she met there in her days. She learnt lot's of things about how it was to live a bad life and soon she was really down.
Years later, she was helping at home and her brother made her go to school again, but that was not what she felt like. As she was at school, she wasn't able to get out of there, but she found the friends that knew how she felt, or at least she thought so. They were known as the schools thugs, but Runa liked them. Together they founded a gang, as they still were not older than 12, it wasn't to much, but they trained fighting in the streets, sprayed graffiti and stole things they liked. When they became a little older they really started becoming a gang, hurting people, fighting with knives and living on the streets, or at least they played as if they did. Everyone of them had a home he returned to after a long day, but they all loved the feeling of being a street gang. But still, even with her going around and doing all these things, her brother still helped her, and so she knew she had to do something for him. When she heard that there was a new game to be released that would allow them to go on an virtual adventure she decided that she and her brother would play this together, so she could show him her gratefulness for all he was doing for her. As she heard how expensive the game would be, and that there were just a limited amount of copies, she used the skills she had learned and on the day it was released stole it from one of the lucky ones who had gotten two copies. Later on she thought they should be really happy, as she had prevented that they were trapped in this game.
Virtues:
Tough Guy: Her life had thrown lots and lots of disasters at Runa, so she got used to living in bad times. Nowadays she isn't afraid of pretty much anything and will always stand up for her cause, even if it means trouble for her. If there is anything that stands in her way, she will for sure find a way to get around it, most of the times by pure brutality.
A Comrades Trust: Living half her live on her own, she knows the value of a real comrade. Her brother had been the best one she had ever had, but there were others. Her friends at school were real friends to her, and she would have done nearly anything to help them. If one has earned Runas trust, she will protect him and do almost everything to help them.
Her brother's Sister: Having seen, how Gen had risked his own life and even paid with it to save someone they didn't even know had shaken Runa. She had always thought he was just this nice to her, but it seemed her brother had been a real hero. To honour his memories Runa could never leave someone to die, even if she doesn't know them.
Flaws:
Distrust in the World: Everything that had been good in Runa's life have gone bad, so she has lost her trust in the world itself. Runa's always thinking, that whatever she will do won't end well, so she might as well not start it in the first place. It's hard for her to get enough motivation to really do something.
Hard to trust: After all that has happened to her, it is hard for her to trust others. She has learnt that humans are evil when she was young, and this view on other persons hasn't changed much. If she learns to trust someone. It's like the person can trust her too, but for her to trust someone, they would have to do something really special for her.
Little Imp: As she has lost the trust in the world, and thinks that everyone is evil, she has decided that she can do to them whatever she wants. This leads to her doing funny "jokes" and "tricks" to others, that most of the time aren't really funny for anyone but her, especially not for her victims. If she learns to trust someone they are more or less save from her, but that's a rare occasion.

Gen: Her Brother
Story Thus FarOnce the Game was released she and her brother entered it and at first it was super cool. She could show her brother how much she liked him and he was able to forget all about the real world and what [censored] had happened to them, but when Kayaba told them, that they were trapped in this game, everything changed. Her brother got really angry, not really at her, but at himself for being so stupid to leave their mother alone with them being an even bigger burden then before. It took her two days to get him back to his normal self, but once she had done that, he started to flourish and they started their adventure. It seemed everything was going to be better, but then, they saw something terrible and everything was lost. They were walking around a smaller town on the first floor, when they saw four players surrounding a fifth one. When they came closer, they saw that they were attacking him, slowly killing the poor player. Gen decided that this had to be stopped, got their attention and tried to help the other player run away. He blocked their path, allowing Runa and the other player to get away, but one of the PKers managed to follow them and when they had gotten close to the town was able to reach them, killing the player they had tired to save. Gen never came back, and Runa had to learn at the monument of life, that he had died. Since then, nearly two years have gone by and Runa hasn't left the safe zone of the town of beginnings again.

I had talked to the blacksmith I had found earlier and he had told me that he was not going to complete any new orders, so it was my quest for today to find someone who would be able to craft the items I needed instead. After walking around the towns centre and not finding any blacksmith I had started looking in the smaller streets further from the middle and after an hour of searching I had seen a small smithy called the unbreakable anvil. This looked promising, especially with the player working here being around for me to ask him. "Hello Mister, are you the one doing crafts in this shop?" I asked him with played childish interest and a huge smile on my face. "If you are, I'd like to ask you something. Like you can see, I am the protector of sweets and I need a new weapon, can you craft this for me? " I finished and handed him the orderform I had filled in for the other blacksmith.
