  1. The first thing that happened after I had walked up to the group of players that seemed to already start talking about something was that the redhead I had followed turned to me and patted my head a little like that of a cute dog or something like that. I didn't really like that, but before i could say anything she complimented my weapon and I forgot to be angry at her.  "Do you really like it? It's my own design, and it goes so well with the title the others gave me when I first logged in. Defender of sweets, I hope I can defend anyone, even though I'm not that strong at the moment." With this said I could turn my attention to the others, more or less ignoring the strange familiar that was wrapped around Kirbs' neck.
The blonde introduced herself as Krysta and it seemed she was the leader of this group, as she told us that she was about to go after the boss, and it sounded more like a speech than just telling us. A red feathered dragon appeared behind her head and I had to grin. This was a really cute familiar, and one that I could as the type I could get for myself. The other fox snake thing, wait I think she said Nuguruvilu, what ever it was, was a really strange one and I wouldn't want something that strange as my familiar.
The third of them listened to Krysta, then she handed a cookie to me and told me it would boost my defence for the fight.
"Thank you very much. It will for sure be helpful in the upcoming battle. And I'll try to call you Miss Mina if that's okay with you." That said I took the cookie and started eating it while I listened to the information the grim looking girl with the scar told us. Something about the nice loot that would be dropped by the eventboss, and what kind of attacks we were going to face off against.

  2. Once we had finished the idea for the armour and I had handed the design and the col over to him, he told me that if I worked hard enough I might become a super good tank, maybe even as good as he was. I hadn't known he was a tank himself, but with all the possibilities he had as a blacksmith to create his own armour, it was just logical. When he said that I might even become better than him I felt a big smile appear on my face and I was just about to start running around a little, cheering, but before I could d that he stood up, and told me he would work on the item now and left for the basement.

With him working on the armour and no way for me to help him I decided I could use the time to get a little bit of research done and left the shop to come back later. Out there I started looking for an information broker, but instead remembered that the guide that was released for free had all the information on floor one collected, so I pulled it from my inventory and had a look. There it was, right under the Quest tag there was the name of a NPC I would be able to find now, that I knew his name. I quickly walked to him to accept the quest he had an learned that I had to kill some monsters until there was the rare one, that would drop some Item. This one wouldn't be to hard, but I would still ask Mister Macradon if he would accompany me on this first quest.
After taking the quest I went back to the shop, and waited for Macradon to finish the work, then I would ask
"I heard about a quest here on the first floor, where one has to fight plant monsters until their boss appeared and then get some Item from this boss. I want to do this, but I ain't sure if I can do it all on my own. How about you come and help me, I bet a strong Mister like you can show me some tricks and all."

  3. After I had recently gotten back into adventuring, it had been time for me to start roaming the first floor on my own. The vast grassy hills and the forests to the edge of the floor where filled with mobs that probable weren't any problem for me any more, as they weren't that strong and my armour was helping in reducing the damage I would get. I had heard of kobolds somewhere in the forests, so I kept away from them and stayed save in the hills.
In those days of fighting weak boars and some stronger wolves I heard rumours of a dangerous field boss that had appeared lately, terrorizing a part of the first floor, and that players where gathering to fight it. I didn't know if it was a good idea to go fight this boss, but there was a chance of getting something really cool, so I made my way to a settlement I had heard had a great place for finding other players.

Once I had arrived at the amphitheatre like meeting point I noticed some groups of players that had gathered and were talking to each other. As I walked towards one of those, I was able to hear a strong looking redhead threatening one of the guys that had formed a group. She looked like she was a strong one, and what better way to fight a boss than do it with a strong party. I followed her, as he closed in at the next group, only consisting of two girls. Waiting a few seconds after she had pushed her way into the conversation I followed her, knocked my huge candycane on the ground and smiled at the three and said "Hello there, I am Runa, the defender of sweets and I am looking for a group to hunt the boss. I don't know much, but you look like you are strong players, so I thought I might tag along, if you are going to hunt it."

  4. After I had decided what armour I would get Mister Macradon told me, that I would still get damage from the monsters, but that with a little help of skills like battle healing, or a healer that would fight alongside me, it shouldn't be a problem till I would reach the next tier, where I would be able to get a better armour to once again be ready for monsters of my level. I really liked the idea of having high armour and being able to protect others, so it would be what I would get. Once again I nodded to what he said and smiled at him, as I told him "Wow, it's super cool. I wish I could have these skills already, but I should continue doing some easy quest before I can spend any Skillpoints. No matter what I will be doing later, I think getting an armour to protect others is the right decision, and I do trust you with this, why would someone like Mister Macradon, who must be quite popular with such a nice smithy, scam a poor one like me. So here is your col." And I opened the trading window to send the col to him.

After that it was my turn to think what to do now. Mister Macradon would craft my new armour, but what could I do while he was working on it, and what was I going to do after he was done? Maybe I should continue to look for some quest I could do. And maybe strong Mister Macradon would help me. He seemed like  a nice guy and maybe he would like to see his newest piece of armour in action. I would ask him after he was done crafting the thing for me.

    -1000 col

  5. When I had told Mister Macradon that I was sorry for his losses, he simply told me that it wasn't a thing I had to worry about, and that it was this kind of events that brought a person forward. I didn't really understand this part, and I couldn't even agree with him, as I though it was terrible that my brother wasn't here anymore, but I wouldn't start arguing with him now. He was older and it seemed he had gone through much more, so maybe this was just how he saw it.
A few moments later, after I had told him that I didn't have any materials, but col he told me, that he would take a thousand col for the item, and I was quite happy with this price. I had enough col to pay him the price and would even have some more col to spend later. So I told him that I would happily pay the thousand col and wanted to open the transaction window when he continued, telling me that he could do it, and that it was a good idea to get some harder material for the armour that would still allow for some mobility.
"Oh, that is cool, I think I'd like it to be scalemail, as it looks cooler than chainmail.  And for the payment, I will pay you right after we we decided what enhancement it should get." After this he told me, that he thought getting more Mitigation was the better choice for me, and that this kind of armour would nearly nullify all attacks of monsters till the tenth level. That was pretty nice, and with a few defensive skills I could probably increase this level even further. So I decided to make it a three mitigation slot item and told him so. "So you say that all those monsters wouldn't be able to hurt me with this kind of armour. I think that's pretty nice Mister Macradon. So I'll get it with three slots of mitigation. Do you want to have the col right now?" I asked and waited for an answer.

    @Macradon

  6. Before I had started crying Mecradon had asked me to not call him Mister, and that he had never been used to being called so, but it was really hard for me, so I would try not doing it, but no guaranty for that. After that and my crying we had reached the point where he was telling me that he would see what he could do, creating an armour with me, so I would be able to become the defender I wanted to be. When he asked me if I had any ideas for the armour I had to think a little before a great one appeared in my head. We would remodel the armour my brother had gotten for me, so I could always preserve his memory with my armour while still becoming a better defender. "I'm sorry for your losses, I didn't know you have lost someone too M.. Macradon. And about the price for the armour, I don't have any materials left at the moment, I could pay you in col, or maybe try to gather some materials later, when I start my adventure. I already got a good idea, so if you hand me the pen I can draw it out. " Once I got the pen I started drawing the idea I had and wrote next to it what I thought was a good set of enhancements, even though I wanted to know what the smith himself thought about it. "I was thinking to make it have at least two slots of Mitigation, so it could substitute the armour I am wearing right now, and for the last slot I am balancing between another slot of mitigation, or maybe the Heavy Momentum enhancement. What do you think would be better at the moment?" I asked him, showing him the design I had draw onto the paper and pointing at the part that looked like my jacket "Do you think scales would make a good substitute for the padded armour Mister? "

  7. I had just started the fight and told Miss Saphira to go and fight her own mob, when the boar I had attacked started to angrily grunt at me. With my attention brought back to the monster I forgot that she was fighting her own fight and focused on the monster in front of me. It wasn't very big, and as I had learned from it's last attack it wasn't bale to deal lots of damage either, but still I wasn't gonna go easy in this fight. I was sure there were bigger and more dangerous enemies out there and this was training for the day I would have to fight them.
While I got ready so start a second attack against the boar it got so close it was out of the effective range of my axe, because it was to close and when i tried to get back away from it it used its tusks to attack me and it hit my side. If I hadn't been wearing armour this one would have been a good hit, but so the damage got reduced to nearly nothing and the VR system reduced the pain to a mere tickling. I flinched for a second but then got back to my fighting self and stepped back. As soon as I was far enough I tried to get back into the pose I had used for the last attack, and this time both my axe and the shockwave it produced hit the monster, whose HP dropped to zero, so it exploded into pixels. A popup in front of me appeared and I quickly accepted it, as it was one of the tusks I needed to gather for this quest. "Look at that, I already killed this one, and it even dropped one of the tusks we need to gather Miss Saphira"

  8. After I had entered the shop, the white haired player with his red and white jacked stood up from the place behind the counter and waved at me, to then greet me and tell me that his name was Macradon and that he was indeed the owner of this shop. After that he listened to what I asked him and inspected me a little, before telling me that if I wanted to stay with light armour I had to go look for a tailor, but that he had quite the choice of heavy armour, and that he would even craft something new for and with me. After telling me all this, he asked for my name, as I had forgotten to introduce myself the proper way. "Sorry I forgot to tell you my name Mister Macradon. I'm Runa, the defender of sweets, nice to meet you." I introduced myself, sweeping a slight curtsy. After that I had a look at my bunny coat and memories of the first days of the game, when I had acquired it, came back to my mind. Reminded of what had happened shortly after tears started rolling down my face and sniffing a little bit I started mumbling. "S..S..Sorry. I don't want you to ... sniff... w...worry. It... It's not because of you. I... I just remembered something. " After this I took a moment to swipe the tears off, and once I was okay again, I turned back to him. "Sorry for that, but you have to know, this armour, my brother got it for me... sniff ... and now, he isn't here anymore. It's hard to live without him, but , but I have to continue, for him. that's why I am still wearing this armour, but I am going to be a defender, so I'll have to get some heavy armour. How about we work on something he would have liked on me Mister Macradon? " I asked and hoped that he would understand me, and maybe even empathise with me, maybe reducing the cost for the item we were talking about.

    @Macradon

  9. It was early morning when I decided that it was time for me to become stronger. Sure training with Saphira was all fun and the rewards weren't that bad, but I wanted to level up a little quicker than from just doing those boring tutorial quests. So what was it I should start doing right now? I could leave the town and just start fighting, but why would I do that, the mobs exp wasn't that great, and I had already learned that fulfilling quests was the better way to get lots of levels in a short time.
With that in mind I started walking around the town of beginnings, looking for another quest I would be able to complete, probably on my own, as it looked like most players that had stayed here with me still weren't going to leave the town. After a short while of walking I met with another player that had just started leaving and he told me, that there was a quest where I could help a village by providing them with a medicine that would drop from rare mobs. Killing mobs to get something sounded fun, and it would be a good training for my fighting, and a rare mob sounded like it would give a little more exp that the normal ones. So I started looking for the person who had the quest, and after I found them I opened the quest log to find out some more about it.
The quest was all about fighting normal mobs until the rare one would spawn, and then killing and looting it for the item that was needed. This wouldn't be to difficult, but if I got a chance to get some more equipment, it wouldn't hurt, so I made my way through the town, looking for some shop I could get what I needed.
After some time I noticed a huge Estate, that housed a smithy right next to it. Looking into the windows I noticed lots of cool items and so I entered the shop to have a better look. The items this smith had hanging around looked good, but on the first glance I wasn't able to find any armour that would suit me, so I walked to the counter where a player was sitting and looking at me. I smiled as innocent as possible, once again trying to look as much as a small girl as possible and asked
"Hey, are you by any chance the owner of this cool store? I was looking for something that would fit my style and maybe increase my defence, but I haven't seen anything like that. Could you please have a short look with me?"

    <<Secret Medicine Of The Forest>>

This quest takes place on Floor 1
    This quest is not repeatable

    Little_Nepent.png

On the first floor, the player is given a quest that introduces them to 'Field Bosses'. The quest states that a small village is in need of a medicine, <Little Nepent's Ovule>, which is dropped by a special variant of the mob, Nepent. The players who partake in the quest must slay normal Nepents until a 'Variant Nepent' spawns. The Nepents spawn in the wooded area on floor 1.

The nepents stand at around a meter and a half tall. Its lower body consists mostly of countless roots that it uses to move around. It has two arm-like vines with pointed leaves attached to either side of its body, just above the roots. The center of its head holds a wide red mouth with viscous liquids dribbling out of it as it opens and shuts.

The variant has a red bulb on top of it's 'head' which reveals to be a giant red flower. Or it's decorated with fruit. Either way, it's the same as its counterpart in shape, size, and strength.

    Completion Requirements:

    - 20 Posts Minimum.
-Must defeat 2 Nepents per player.
    - Nepent Variant must be defeated.

    Nepent Information:

    HP: 7
    Mitigation: 0
    Damage: 3

2 Nepents spawn for each player in the participating party.

    Nepent Variant Information:
Nepent Variant is a Quest Boss and has the following statistics:

    HP: 15
    Mitigation: 5
    Damage: 10
Nepent Variant ignores armor mitigation on a natural roll of 10

Drops the quest item <Nepent's Ovule> on an LD roll of 12 or higher, failure will have you fight the normal Nepents again until another Variant spawns. This loot roll must be separate from the attack roll that defeats it. Failure to find the <Nepent's Ovule> will result in the players having to fight the Normal Nepents again, to draw out an additional Variant Nepent.

  10. After I had asked Miss Saphira if she could show me how to fight, she said that she would gladly do so, but that she didn't knew if it was very useful, as we used different weapons and the skills would be activated with different poses. "Okay Miss Saphira, I still think it's nice of you to help me with it." When she then nodded at the door I quickly walked towards it and out of the blacksmiths workshop. Once we were outside we headed towards the open fields and soon I was able to see the first small boars standing there, grazing.
When we came closer, they raised their heads, but it seemed they were not hostile, so no need for Miss Saphira to protect me.
"Look, there they are. Aren't these cute little boars? I think i should take one home and cuddle it. What do you think Miss Saphira? Or maybe I should attack them and get the materials we search for."

After I had told her that I didn't think she would have to defend me, I walked towards one of them, my big sugarcane Axe in hand and looked at the monster. How would I start an attack what what I wondered, then I remembered the pictures I had seen next to the attacks and I was eager to try it. I told Miss Saphira that I would try it myself and she could watch and tell me what to do better, so I raised the weapon and after a moment to find the right stance it started glowing. Once it was charged I released it and for a short time I lost control over my body. The feeling was strange and I didn't really like it, but at least the effect was nice. The axe swung so quick, it released a shockwave that should have hit the boar, but I missed it entirely.
The Boar seemed to notice me as he raised his head and started running towards me. Seeing the tusks as they hit me, I jumped back, but the pain I was waiting for didn't appear, and even my HP didn't really drop. It was just one Damage and I could live with that. As the fight had started I called to Miss Saphira
"I think I can handle this one on my own. Maybe you should go and fight some of your own."

If a party of players undertakes this quest together, each must succeed on their own task list (e.g. each must gather 3 materials)

    Recommended Level: 1

Shortly after I had handed the package to the old and bearded Blacksmith Tealeaf he asked me to help him with acquiring some rare materials he needed for his crafts. As Saphira hadn't done the quest on her own, he also asked her if she was willing to help with this. We had talked about it on our way to his workshop, and had agreed that we would do the quest together, right now. So with this in mind I nodded and smiled at the blacksmith and said "Oh yeah, I would love to help you with this. Miss Saphira, are you ready to get some mats?" after that I realized, that his mission was just the same as the first and I was a little worried about it being boring, until I opened the quest menu and skipped through the quests description. It wasn't boring gathering, but instead it was hunting small mobs to obtain the materials we needed. I loved the thought of it, but then I had never really used my weapon, so now I had to learn, and maybe prepare for it. I wondered how much damage the mobs would be able to deal, and it it would hurt, so I simply turned to Saphira and asked her, as she must have fought and also gotten hit a lot to be at such a high level. "Uhm... Miss Saphira, you must have much experience, so would you please tell me how strong those mobs will be. Will I need my shield, or do you think my uniform will be enough? And would you be okay with showing me how to fight on one of them before I try myself?"

  12. As soon as the potion had gotten black, I knew I would have to begin again, but I also expected the old man to become grumpy and maybe yell at me for wasting his materials, but instead he simply emptied the cauldron and told me to start over, this time doing some more preparation. I took a moment to realize what he might wanted me to do. So instead of simply throwing the mushroom into the cauldron, I took it and a few of the berries, put them onto the heavy wooden table next to me and cut them using one of his knives that were lying around.
With the little cubes of material I started over, filled the cauldron with water and started stirring before putting any of the material in there. Once there was a whirlpool within the water, I dropped the cubes in there and the water quickly turned red. Now I raised the cauldron a little, so it wouldn't get to hot and continued stirring. After some time, maybe fife minutes or so, the red got darker and it wasn't as smooth as before. I looked at the old man and said
"It looks just like the healingpotions one can buy at the market, am I done now?"

He nodded and pulled out a few little bottles and filled them with the potion. He then pulled something that was wrapped in cloth out of his table and held it towards me. Once I accepted it, he told me I should take it to a friend of his, Lyle Tealeaf whose workshop was close to the towns borders, and that the blacksmith would hand me some kind of payment for the quest. I smiled at the old guy and left the house, opening the menu on the way out. Once I was outside, I had a look at what the quest said what to do. It really just was delivering the package I had just gotten, and as it was an Item, I wouldn't even have to carry it, but just pack it in the inventory.

With the package stored I made my way to look for Saphira, who was somewhere out there. She had told me that she would be at the bushes we had collected the berries before I had been done, so I walked to them and indeed there she was. Before reaching her I already shouted towards her "Hey Miss Saphira, I am done with the crafting part. Are you ready to deliver some package to some blacksmith somewhere? The old man told me he would pay me for this." I waited for Saphira to come to me and together we made our way to the outer borders of town. Within the town it wasn't to difficult to find the blacksmiths workshop and once I was there, I handed the package over. The blacksmith smiled at me and  handed me a bunch of small bottles filled with potions. Some of them the same red as the ones I had brewed and others of different colours. I wanted to thank him, but he shook his head and as I wanted to leave the workshop, he told me that he could use some help with some things. This would be the start of the second tutorial quest.

  13. After I had told him that potions were boring I saw how he raised an eyebrow and with his old people voice he said: "There is nothing more important that being prepared. And your first step to being prepared is crafting those potions. The will help you with all that lies in the future. And you, my small girl, don't you ever forget what is the most important" I didn't understand all of it, and most of what I understood was silly. Everyone knew that fighting with all your soul and will was the most important and not something as silly as preparation, but if he said so I had to do it to finish the quest.

Following his instructions I once again started stirring the water in the cauldron, when he told me to throw in some of the materials. I did as he told me and it started to become red, as a healing potion should be, but before I was done, black streaks appeared and shortly after all of the potion was black and I knew I had to restart.

  14. It seemed Miss Mishiro spaced out for a short moment, maybe thinking about the past, before she answered my question. The girl told me that it was a simple reason, but before she told me, she did something with the coat and changed how she was sitting. Maybe she was stalling for time, not sure if she really should tell me, or how, but once she was sitting more straight than before, she continued, telling me that the plaza still reminded her of the day all of this had started. I think it does remind all of us, but I don't mind anymore. I lived in fear for the last years, but not because of this place, but the outsides of the town I was thinking, but I wouldn't tell her. She didn't have to know off my past, so I just listened and nodded. When she told me, that she was trying to get over it, but not when she was going out to the fields later, I nodded and said "I can understand that Miss Mishiro. The bloody red guy was spooky, but it's been so long I don't care any more." I tried to be as convincing as possible, as I kind of felt bad for her.

After she stopped talking she smiled at me, and her gaze wandered to the weapon on my back. When she then asked if I know how to fight, I shook my head and jumped from the bench, so I now was standing in front of her. With my best confident little girl face on I said "No, I don't know how to fight, but I sure will learn. I am the defender of Sweets and my Candy Weapon will bring death to all that challenge me. Do you know how to fight Miss Mishiro?"

  15. After I had told Miss Saphira, that I had found the last material she told me that the next part of the quest was going back to the old man and then crafting some potions. "Why do I have to craft potions? I really don't want to become an alchemist. It's cool and all, but there is nothing better than becoming a cook and being able to make ones own sweets." I told Saphira, while we walked back. I knew it was just the quest and not really the crafting profession, but I didn't liked being pushed to craft potions. On the way back to the store she told me about the last part of the quest, that would come next, and wished me luck before waiting in front of the shop, not coming with me. "Okay, so after getting things we have to go somewhere else and then have finished the quest. That sounds okay. Will you come with me to the next person? I bet we can start the next quest right away if you have time for that." I told her before I entered the room.

The old man was standing there, telling me that I had to craft some potions from the items I had brought back, and that I would be rewarded with something as soon as I had done one more thing for him. I took out the materials I had gathered and started by putting one of them in the big cauldron that was standing in the centre of the room. Slowly stirring the potion it turned red, then green and last black. The old guy looked at it and shook his head, then he made the potion disappear and told me I had to do it once again.  "I don't want to do that again, isn't there something else I can do for you old man? Potions are boring."

  16. I'd like to join your new guild.
I Am level one at the moment, doing the beginner quests with a friend right now.
If it's no problem that I wait to do quests and threads with the guild until I finished them, I'd be super happy to be in your team

  17. As I approached the other girl she closed her menu tabs and looked at me with the kind of look I got from many players when they met me the first time. She then told me that her name was Mishiro. That was a nice name, and she looked like  a nice girl, so I should remember the name. When she then looked around I was sure I knew what she was thinking and I was just about to tell her that I was alone I I didn't had any problem with it, but before I did she told me, that she was the one to put it up there, but not the one to make the request at all. I wasn't sure what she meant by that, but it was okay to me, as long as I could tag along, so I was about to ask her where to find the person who had asked for players to join when she held out a hand to me and told me that they would come in about half an hour and that they didn't asked for any special qualifications. After that she nodded towards a bench that was nearby. Taking the hand she had offered me I played along, miming the little girl she saw in me and followed her towards the bench.  "Thank you for telling me all this and for waiting with me Miss Mishiro. Is it okay for me to ask why you are waiting here, away from wherever the person who made the request is."

    @Mishiro

  18. As Saphira told me about the meaning of the pictures next to the sword arts I started to understand. So these swordart attacks were a way of the game to help me fight. I just had to remember how to start the attack and wait a short moment, so the weapon would start to glow and then the system would help me hit the enemy. Just to make sure Miss Saphira knew I had understood, I said "Thanks for telling me Miss Saphira. I think I understand how it works now. If there really is fighting in the next quest, I'll be able to try it and show you I understood"

Later, after I found the first berries and I had told her, that she couldn't let me go alone, as I could get hurt, she told me that she actually only ever told me she would help me with the first one, but that she would help me if she had time for it. She seemed to be okay with me getting hurt, but if I had gotten her vibes right till now, she wasn't and would never let me go without making sure I don't get hurt on the way. As she tried to hide it from me, I wouldn't show her, maybe I could use it to my own advantage at some point. So instead of going in deeper, I just said "Thank you Miss Saphira, it's pretty nice you help someone as weak as I am and I hope you got time to help me. How about we walk over there, maybe I find the last berry I need"

With this said I made my way towards another crowd of berry bushes to get the last ones I was still looking for and there really were a lot of the berries I was looking for. I quickly grabbed them and they disappeared as soon as I plucked them from the bushes. Once they had disappeared another questitem appeared in my inventory and the quests text changed. Now it told me to come back to this old guy, as he would tell me what to do next. Happy to have found it, I started laughing and after a minute or so I said "Look at this Miss Saphira!!! I finally got them and the quest changed. Now we have to return to this older guy to learn what we have to do now."

  19. After we had left the forest Miss Saphira started answering my questions. At first she asked my if I had never fought, or watched someone fighting and just now I realised I in deed had already seen this before, but it had been just once and I really didn't want to think about it now. Tears started rolling down my face as last time I had seen my brother appeared in front of my inner eye and I saw the glowing lines of swords swung at the poor player. Then I saw Gen rushing forwards and stopping them for a short moment, screaming at my that I should run. then I was back in the green meadows of the first floor, besides me the girl and not my brother. Sniffing a little I listened as she explained that one got attacks called sword arts by levelling up the weapon skill of once choice and that they were guided attacks. "Sniff sniff... O.Okay, I think I understand. I should have some of them too, I got the skill for my two handed battleaxe. Let's have a look" I opened the menu and with a few swipes and clicks I was in the skill section and indeed, the weapon skill had a tab that showed sword arts and right next to it a picture of a man holding a weapon in a special way. I didn't know what it meant, so I asked Saphira, hoping that she could tell me. "I found them in the menu, what is this picture next to them supposed to tall me Miss Saphira?" Before I was able to do ask her she had started answering a question I had asked before, but I just hoped she would still tell me about the pictures.

Later we were at the berry bushed I had found and she told me that they weren't the right ones and that we still had to walk closer to town to find the ones I was looking for. That wasn't something I wanted to hear, but if it was the truth, I couldn't change it. With an disappointed face I marched forwards towards the town. While we were walking Saphira asked me if I wanted her to help with the other quests and I wasn't sure what to say. I thought she had offered her help for them, so I just believed she would do all of them with me. Finally I told her "Ehm, I thought you wanted to help me with all of them. Isn't that right Miss Saphira. If you don't come with me I might get hurt, could you allow this to happen?" and I made the best fearful and sad kids face I could think of.
When we arrived at the bushes I needed to gather the berries from she wished me luck with finding them and went to search some material for herself. I walked around the bushes, looking at each of them, but there weren't any berries. When I arrived at the last one of the few that were standing next to each other I finally was able to find a hand full of the berries and once I plucked them the disintegrated and another quest item appeared in my inventory.

  20. I was having a great day at the bazaar, as many of the NPCs seemed to have a special offer for cute little ones like me. I was already chewing on some sweets when an old man looked at me and said that he had a few special candy canes in his shop and that I could have one for free. I followed the guy, even though I wasn't sure if it was a good idea. I was within the savezone, so he shouldn't be able to harm me, but still I drew my huge candy cane axe just in case he would try anything on me. As soon as we arrived at his shop I was relieved, as it was one I knew already. I had been there a few times and the younger man who was behind the counter greeted me. "Hey there. The Defender of sweets is back. Look at this cool weapon i got" I greeted him, smiling and showed him the weapon. I quickly choose a few of the candies he had and left the place to go and wander around some more. When I came towards the central plaza I noticed a girl posting a note on some tavern before she stepped back and disappeared into a close by alley. I wondered what it was, so I walked over there and had a look. Quickly reading it I found out, that she was looking for others to go hunting and gathering with her.
I didn't knew if I'd be a big help, as I was still level one, but I could at least try. Reading the note again, it said the meeting point was at the plaza, but as I had seen her, I could just follow her and ask her if I could tag along. I walked towards the alley, the bunny ears of my jacked slightly bounced up and down as I was kind of jumping. As I arrived a player who could have been the girl exited the alley with a huge coat tugged around her and I wondered if she was the one. The best way to find out would be to simply ask, so I stepped towards her, a big smile on my face and said:
"Hello you there. Are you the one who left this poster right there? I'm Runa, the defender of sweets and if you are the one, I'd really like to come with you."

    @Mishiro

  21. I was really surprised to see the scaly figure run out from that bush and even more when Saphira made two steps towards me, shoving me behind her and protect me from the beast. It swung its pickax at her and she didn't even block it, but the damage it was dealing was really little. After it had attacked her, she quickly stepped even more between me and the monster. I just then noticed that the icy dagger she held in hand started to glow bluish. I didn't know what it was, but I would ask her once she had finished the mob. with a big step forwards she was at the monster and the glowing dagger slashed at its chest with two powerful hits. They left an x like shape in the air before the mobs HP dropped down to zero and it exploded. "Wow Miss Saphira, this was soooo cooool. You killed it with a single attack. Can you tell me why your dagger was glowing like this?" Before she answered my question Saphira told me that we should start leaving quickly before there would be more of these monsters. After having seen what she could do to them I wasn't that worried, but she had already started her way back to the meadows, so I followed her. Out on the green meadows I turned to her and said "Do you think we will have to fight for the tutorial quests? I don't really like gathering. By the way, these are the bushes I should look for berries in, aren't they" I marched towards a couple of bushes and started searching while Saphira was close to me, but it seemed there was nothing on these bushes. Maybe we had to go closer to the town to find what I was looking for.

  22. With the second mushroom in my inventory I started to head back towards the border of the forest, followed by Saphira who was now holding a dagger in her hand. She really was serious about her protecting me, maybe I should thank her later, bu now I have to look for some more materials. I think i should get one more of those mushrooms, but I'm not sure. Thinking about it a moment I remembered that this was a game and so there had to be a quest log somewhere in the menu. It took me some time until I found it, but once I knew where it was, it wouldn't be hard to open it the next time. Reading the quest description I saw, that I had to get one more mushroom and then I had to gather two berries from closer to the town. This would be some easy experience points for me why didn't I do this with my brother? I wondered and as I thought about Gen tears appeared in my eyes without me being able to do anything about them. I wiped them away and hoped Miss Saphira hadn't seen them and continued my way through the woods border region. With my still blurry vision I noticed something right next to me and when I turned my focus towards it I recognised the shape. It was another mushroom. I grabbed it and it disappeared while another quest item appeared in my inventory. "Hey Miss Saphira, I found another mushroom, I think we can go now and look for the berries I need." I decided to lead the way back when I heard a strange sound. What was that, could it be I got tracked down by some monster? Nah, it shouldn't. I was really careful not being to loud. Or was I really? While I was still trying to find out what it was, a red scaly creature breached through a close bush and instantly hissed at us. Following the hissing it ran towards Miss Saphira and swung it's pickax at Saphira. The girl wasn't quick enough to jump aside, so the weapon hit her at the side of her chest, leaving a small red dot and draining her HP really slightly.

  23. The owner of the smithy introduced himself as Mortambo and told me that he would accept the order, even though he couldn't tell me how long it would take for him to finish the item. Then he offered to message me once it was done. With a shake of hands we sealed the deal and I said "That's nice Mister Mortambo. I can't wait to see your finished work. I'll bring the col once I pick up the item." then I left the shop.
The next days I waited for a message and when it finally arrived I returned to the Unbreakable Anvil, a huge smile on my face when he showed me the huge axe that was made from a candy cane.
"Thank you Mister Mortambo. The weapon is great. I'm sure I'll be able to protect all sweets with this in my hands. Here is the money I owe you." I thanked him and handed over some col to pay for the weapon. Before I would leave I remembered that I wanted to get another item done, and as this smith had done great with my weapon I would ask him if he was ready for another order. "Before I leave again, do you think you could craft this for me? I know it's even more difficult to craft than the last once, but I'll give you mats up front and you simply message me once it's done again. I really hope you can do this for me."

  24. While I had been looking for the first mushroom, Miss Saphira had started gathering her own materials but it seemed she wasn't as successful as I was. When I first called her to tell her that I had found some she hadn't found anything, but shortly after that she found something for her self. When she looked at me the next time she changed her equipment once again, but I wasn't the one who should care about that. I still had to find four more materials for this quest, so I should continue the searching.
I had been at the border of the woods when I saw a trail of small red mushrooms that lead deeper into the forest. If I would follow that, I for sure would find another of those big mushrooms I was looking for, but Miss Saphira had told me not to go deeper into the woods, as they were dangerous and there were strong mobs that could attack me. Maybe I should ask her if she would protect me if I go deeper in there I thought and right after that I asked
"Hey Miss Saphira, I'll head a little into the forest as I thought I've seen a mushroom right up there. Can you please protect me if I get attacked " After I said that I quickly followed the mushrooms and soon was able to find another big one. I had been right and now I just had to get back before some monster would find me.
