  1. “Okay.” Kataware turned her back towards Ansar as she looked towards the bracers in her hand. She inspected them carefully, looking for any redeeming features, although she didn’t feel like she would personally use this type of armor. In her opinion, the breastplate would make her feel safer, but it was always nicer to have these options available to her. The more options one has, the more possibilities they can control.

Kataware noticed that they had studs on them and decided to try them on. Slipping them past her wrist and onto her forearm, she noticed that it didn’t feel restrictive yet she still felt as if it provided her about the same protection as her first identified item. Hm, this might work? After successfully identifying the item, a notification popped up and she saw that the enhancements were exactly the same as the breastplate that she found. She truly did not know which one to get as they both served the same functionally, so she decided to ask someone for a second opinion. “Hey, Ansar. Which one do you think? These bracers, or that breastplate?” Kataware held up her arms as and pointed towards the respective items as she talked.

  2. “Just two,” Kataware responded bluntly as she set the breastplate aside and making sure to make note of the item. Toge Kanwa. It certainly had more uses than her current equipment seeing as how she only had protection and had no way of dealing damage at this current point in time. Kataware picked out the helmet that she found in the tree trunk and attempted to see if there happened to be anything useful enhancements it contained.

However, as she suspected, there was nothing really special about the helmet. It seemed as if its only use was to help the user defend themselves from any blows, which it did very poorly. An identification is an identification. Kataware put the helmet aside as she prepared herself to identify the bracers and find out if they had any worthy enhancements. “Got any good items so far?” Kataware turned towards Ansar, waiting for an answer before she would turn back to the bracers in her hands.

  3. “I’m not digging up anymore.” Kataware responded back while double-checking her inventory to make sure that all of the found equipment was in her inventory. “After all, no more use. Time to head back.”

The trek back to the Town of Beginnings was relatively as uneventful as the trip to the clearing where they gathered the items. The only thing to note was that there was a few players fighting a boar off in the distance, but Kataware kept her space. Nowadays, if you’d die by a boar, either you haven’t been paying attention to the past two years or you’re looking for an excuse that people will tell your loved ones.

When the pair reached the gates, Kataware was surprised to find Billy the Merchant standing right by the entrance manning a wooden stall that seems as if it was just created. “Move often?”

“You betcha. After all, a Merchant’s primary goal is to get more sales. More area covered, more people who’ll buy your products, more sales.” Billy was quickly alternating between looking underneath the stall and asking for the player’s requests. Based off of how quickly he seemed to respond to the orders, Kataware thought that either this was the benefit of being a program within Cardinal or he is magically procuring the items and never runs out. Most likely both. Kataware brought out all of her equipment that she found and almost immediately as she did, Billy pulled her off to the side and started talking in a frantic manner. “Well, well, little miss! You got the items! Now I’ll teach you how to identify them. Usually they have a certain look to them depending on their Enhancements, but in order to find a Unique, it takes a lot more skill that you currently don’t have. Go on, give it a try.”

Kataware followed Billy’s instructions while having a slightly confused look on her face. A certain look, how? They all look the same to me. However, upon closer inspection, she noticed that the breastplate did seem to have a bit more protrusions that stuck out as if it to deflect enemy attacks or even to hurt the attackers. Upon noticing them, a notification came up showing the enhancements of the breasplate. “Huh.”

  4. “Probably well enough. Might work good for a trowel.” Kataware thought about the possibilities that went with that witty remark. Is gardening even a skill in this game?

Returning to the situation at hand, Kataware noticed that there were now holes all over the clearing as soon as she tripped and fell as her foot got stuck in one of them. “Thanks,” Kataware said in a dry tone as she picked herself up and dusted herself. “How’d a big sword like that make all of these tiny holes?” She bent down to inspect the holes a bit closer and noticed something within one of them. Only a small part of the object pointing out, making it difficult to notice if someone was just randomly putting holes all over the place.

She used her dagger to widen the area around the piece of equipment and eventually was able to get it out of the dirt with a resounding pop. She held up the bracers and noticed that it was about the same quality as the first breastplate that she found. “I’m done over here, how about you?”

  5. Kataware turned her heard towards Ansar to find him digging into the ground with his sword. “I’m not too sure that’s going to work. I guess you really aren’t the...” Kataware shut up as he knelt down and started digging up a two-handed straight sword. Well, I guess things like that happen.

Kataware started moving about, looking for things in other areas as well. Jokingly, she talked to Ansar. “Do you think I should start digging too?” However, this time, she was looking for something that had a glint to it in hopes of spotting things as quickly as she can. As they were far out from the Town of Beginnings, if they wanted to ensure their safety, they’d have to get out of the forest as quickly as they possibly can.

Within the hole of a trunk of the tree, she saw it. A small glint that only showed up for a split second. Rushing over to it, she peered inside and took out the item. In her hands, was a helmet which seemed rusty and old and barely fit for service.

  6. As the treeline got closer into sight, Kataware started picking up speed. “Just a bit further now,” she said in order to deflect Ansar’s question. She moved through the forest and the brush, taking out her dagger and brandishing it in an off-handed position in case there was a monster lurking in the vegetation. Her eyes darted back and forth, actively searching in order to react in time. After ten minutes of walking through the forest, they eventually made it to the clearing and Kataware put her dagger away. “We’re here.”

Kataware immediately started looking for an item that she could find, looking everywhere she could possibly think of. She looked in some logs that were strewn about the openings, or within the trunks that had holes within them. She eventually found a half plate armor, a bit bulky for her taste, but it worked good enough for this quest. “Find anything yet?”

  7. Kataware scrolled through her inventory to find her equipment while Ansar tried to make small talk by asking whether or not she’d like to join him for the quest. “You’re not very bright are you? I didn’t join the quest party for nothing.” Kataware equipped her breastplate and dagger and stood up from the bench. The eternally dusty breastplate just barely glinting in the sun and the dagger in a leather sheath at her right hip. I’d rather stay here and relax a bit, but this is a proposition that shouldn’t be passed that easily. She waved towards Ansar to follow her as she started walking across the wooden bridge connecting the islands in the body of water together. “Come on, Ansar. We don’t got all day.”

She intended to walk through the streets of the Town of Beginnings mostly in silence and only took the time to explain what she planned for them to do. “Let’s just get the three items for the both of us, then let’s get back inside. I know a spot up North that a friend showed me. We can look for the items there. Just don’t provoke the mobs.” Kataware already knew what boars could do to low-leveled players like them. The <<Monument of Life>> attested to people who tried to bite off more than they could chew. “Trust me, not yet.”

  8. Billy the Merchant was a young man about the age of 13. He had unkempt blond hair that reached his shoulders and wore extravagant clothes. His green eyes had a knack of finding people willing to buy some of his stock, while also looking out for anyone who may want to start earning a living by taking the <<Earning a Living: Merchant>> quest. As he talked, he was shaking a pouch of gold coins which would be worthless save the spectacle and the mere sound attracting players. However, being the NPC he was, he occasionally interrupted some people in order to offer the questline.

It was this, that disturbed Kataware’s catnap. She woke up to find a boy’s face extremely close to hers. “What are you doing so close to my face?” Kataware rubbed the grogginess away from her eyes, trying to figure out who this person was. Looking above his head, she noticed a yellow cursor. So he’s an NPC, an important one at that. After clearing her throat, she asked the boy. “So, what do you need from me?”

“My name’s Billy, and I’m a Merchant. However, the real question is what can I do for you? I can show you and up to 3 people how to identify items and become rich beyond your wildest dreams.” Billy shook the bag and gold coins practically flowed out of the pouch but disappeared as quickly as they came into existence. “For an example, I can show you how to identify an item right in front of you. Let’s uh... See...” Billy acted as if he was checking all of his pockets and even ran back into the Victorian-styled building as if he was making sure nothing was lost. He came running back out, shouting to Kataware as if to keep her attention. “Well, it appears as if I’ve ran out of items. If you can come back with around 3 materials, then I can show you how to become a Merchant! What do you say? You can even bring along your friend that’s been looking at me for a while!”

On cue, as with every other quest that Kataware has taken up to this point, a notification popped up in front of her.

<<Enter party for the “Earning a Living: Merchant” quest? Other eligible players nearby: 1.>>

Kataware looked up to see a tall, pale man with brown hair and gray eyes. “Hey.” She accepted the quest, waiting to see whether the man would enter the quest alongside her, or simply ignore and walk away.

  9. Kataware was sitting outside of the Victorian-styled building that laid on top of the body of water within the Town of Beginnings, which was just south of the plaza and the Black Iron Palace. A small fountain that seemed to be more like a birdbath was running and her vision was fixated on the constant fountain of water while her mind wandered elsewhere.

Kataware was truly grateful that no one that she knew within this game was dead, at least not yet. She hasn’t yet been in any deadly situations as all of her ventures outside the safe-zone and the walls of the Town of Beginnings was filled with her minding her own business when it came to the monsters while giving them a wide berth to avoid confrontation. She noticed the yelling of a merchant selling whatever wares they might have, but paid no further attention to the voice within the building. Kataware smiled, understanding that even if the worst-case scenario was to befall her, that life would continue on and she very much doubted that the NPCs within this game would stop functioning if all 10,000 of its players died. Life moves on.

Kataware adjusted her position on the bench to the point that her elbow was resting on left armrest. Simply sitting down was a nice change of pace, she enjoyed working as it made her feel productive but eventually the little amounts of exhaustion stacked up and proved to be tiring. She put her chin on her hand and closed her eyes, thinking that a few minutes of rest wouldn’t hurt her. She was in a public enough area to prevent her being PKing, and thought that the worst thing that could happen to her whilst she was sleeping was some jerk drawing on her face.

  10. “The one and only, present in the virtual world.” Kataware told Tohru noticing that he was surprised that she was standing right there in front of him. Kataware retracted her hand as the blue-haired girl sat down, her hand placement very meticulous as if she was trained to be part of genteel society. “So, first order of business what should I call both of you? I know this guy’s real name,” she said as she jabbed her thumb in his direction, “but if either of you want to be called a certain way, that’s fine by me.”

“Second order of business, it’s been a wild 23 days and counting, hasn’t it? Less than 10,000 people are now living in this game.” Kataware sighed. She normally didn’t care about a situation’s circumstances, but she allowed herself this moment. “Well, I suspect that this ordeal will only get tougher from here on out.” Looking at the players walking by the streets, she noticed how so many people were ignoring the fact that it’s been over three weeks since they’ve been trapped in here. “Especially as less players become available to push through to clear the floors. Some people are simply waiting.” Kataware started chuckling to herself. “Yet, I can’t say I’m any better. I haven’t even stepped out of the Town of Beginnings myself. Though, I do hope that I’m doing more than just simply waiting. I’ve been trying to gather information, but to little success... However from what I’ve heard, I think we’re here for the long run.” Kataware looked towards her two companions sitting on the bench with her, waiting for a reaction.

  11. Although Kataware was stuck in this virtual reality, she figured that she needed to continue her monthly session of relaxation, which was not so difficult on Floor 22. With the mostly non-aggressive forest animals, Kataware decided to relax in the middle of the wilderness hoping that no player nor NPC would find her. However, her trek to find the perfect spot to relax was less than perfect. She had debated on whether to climb one of the thousands of trees that littered this Floor and simply rest on one of the branches, or whether to find a clearing within the forest. Figuring that she’d sooner or later fall asleep, she decided against relaxing on a branch as she was afraid of falling and making some non-aggresive forest animal become her death. After all, she hasn’t made too much progress.

However, walking through the forest was easier said than done, let alone finding a clearing. Her plain attire, consisting of a plain white T-Shirt, pair of jeans, and green baseball cap, was not the best for hiking through the woods. On top of which, she found her trademarked ponytail, which was through the back opening of the baseball cap, get caught on the branches too many times. Are there even any clearings out here?

After a while, she realized she had made a mistake. She realized that she may have strayed a bit too far away from any of the established trails. She looked around, only finding the trees that made up this forest, which never seemed this dense. This isn’t good. Kataware did the only thing she could think of at that immediate moment. Screaming at the top of her lungs. “Hello, is there anyone there?”

  12. Kataware’s eye was caught by a woman with flowing blue hair that seemed as if it could reach to her heels. Surely, that's not how it was in real life, right? Kataware was in disbelief, wondering how anyone could ever manage long hair flowing freely. Her own hair was not short by any means, but she always kept it in a ponytail so that her hair only extended a bit past her shoulders. Her eyes followed the woman, up until the point that she walked up to the bench on her right and began talking to a man that whose face seemed a bit too familiar. Inside her head, the puzzle pieces started putting themselves together and, although it has been a while since they last got together, it wasn’t so long that she’d had forgotten him. Out of 10,000 people, he was one of them? The chances of me knowing anyone from my real life were slim.

Kataware started walking towards the pair of people. As Kataware got into earshot, she noticed that the other girl mentioned how the boy seemed as if he had seen a ghost. Inspecting even further, Kataware noticed that it was the same face on many people’s faces in the Town of Beginnings. Scared and uncertain of their fate. So he’s still having difficulty in accepting that this is reality. Once she approached the bench, Kataware sat down next to the boy and spoke, “Tohru, is it true you’ve seen a ghost?” Turning to the blue-haired girl, Kataware extended her hand and gave the best smile she could muster in her in-between state between exhaustion and refreshed. “I’m Kataware, nice to meet you!”

    @Fayetta

  13. Kataware walked through the town looking at the thousands of people. Some of them being jovial, or at least seeming to be, while others seem more downtrodden either because one of their friends has become one of the many hundreds of people that the game has already claimed as a victim or simply because they are trapped here. However, the goal of today was not people-watching, although she often found herself doing that in her spare time whenever she could simply because it was a habit and a relaxing activity in the real world, but rather trying to see if there are any allies, and more importantly if there’s any useful information.

She continued walking through the Town of Beginnings, but the experience seemed suffocating. To Kataware, everyone was still in a dream-like state hoping that work will be done by themselves. However, after working as a temporary employee at a bureaucratic agency taught her, there’s a lot more work that is done behind the scenes than is visible to the average person. Sometimes, she’d see some people open up their menu, as if it was a bad dream or hoping that someone was able to gain access to Cardinal and re-enable the sign-out button. The inaction suffocated her especially as who was trying her best to find out as much as she could about this trap, although the sheer amount of players didn’t help.

After what seemed like an hour of looking around to see if there was anyone that seemed knowledgable about something, about quests, any news about the “Frontliners”, or even just how these skills worked, she decided to take a break. Kataware decided to take a break on one of the wooden benches that surrounded the body of water just south of the plaza. “There hasn’t been news for the past couple of weeks. At this rate, I wouldn’t be surprised if it took more than a couple years,” Kataware thought aloud.

    @Fayetta

  14. “Well, habits die hard, good or bad. I can’t even imagine myself wearing anything more formal than a nice blouse and some pants unless there’s some kind of special occassion going on.” Kataware looked towards the sky, remembering the life she had unwillingly left behind. She had no doubt that her family has stuck by her this entire time, simply waiting for the moment that she exits this Virtual World. “Especially since they were more affordable.” Now that Kataware thought about it, what kind of background would require someone to wear a suit when they’re not in a uniform? Either he was rich, or he was some kind of important person. Not like it matters here anyways. We’re all trapped here without any connection to the outside world so as far as Cardinal and any other player is concerned, someone who’s riich in the real world is also on the same level as a homeless person in the real world. “So you had to wear two uniforms? A suit and something else?”

Once Kataware got past the gate, Rav started asking about what she’s been doing in the spare time of being trapped in this game. Rav told her that he was doing a physical training regiment, which Kataware expected was just to stay in the habit of performing it rather than actually exercising. “As I’ve said, habits.” Kataware unsheathed her dagger and flipped it in the air before trying to catch it with her sheathe. She fumbled it and had to pick her dagger off of the ground. “Obviously not getting used to the dagger. For the past... 2 years, I was just listening to people who knew something about this game, either for information or any stories.”

Eventually, the two of them reached the spot and Rav put his hand into a hole in the ground, asking what they were looking for and pulling out some snake eggs. “Something like that helps of course. I’ve heard tons of things. Sometimes, they’re not even tangible based off of what I’ve heard about a certain Performer. However, that’ll do.” Kataware looked around for something as well. Anything that seemed like Zakariah could use in order to progress with this quest. “And so will this,” Kataware said as she rushed over to the edge of the treeline and collected some dripping sap.

  15. “Rav, you are quite the one for theatrics. A suit and tie, a crystal dagger, and now that suit of yours.” Kataware said as she tapped Rav’s armor. “Not that I’m complaining. Just an observation.” Kataware played around with her breastplate, only slightly adjusting it to make it marginally more comfortable, and her knife, making sure she would be able to pull it out at a moment’s notice if it came down to it. Her breastplate was still a bit dusty since it hasn't been used for a while, and her dagger seemed nothing more than the a normal 9-inch blade. Ultimately, her end goal was to get a shield so she could get up close to her enemies and then hit whatever vital points she could. Can't be getting ahead of myself. First things first, let’s finish this questline. Afterwards, whatever the best course of action will lead me to. “Rav, lead the way.”

  16. Kataware took her eyes off of the shop’s sign to turn around and find the source of the tap on her shoulders. When she did, Kataware found herself staring at someone’s suit and tie. She looked upwards to find a man with brown hair and glasses inquiring whether this was the start of the beginner quests while being quite polite with his manners, even bowing after introducing himself. “My name’s Kataware. From what I’ve heard, this is the start. I don't mind you joining me, just give me one second.” Kataware swiped across the game menu, looking for the friend request and party invite functions. “And… finished.”

    <<Kataware has sent a friend request.>>

<<Kataware has sent a party invite. Current members: Kataware. Current party size: 1/4.>>

“Friend request so I can contact you later on if need be. Party invite so we can get started on this questline,” Kataware informed Arab as she walked to the shop’s entrance and opened the door, to be met with a puff of purple smoke. She started coughing, waving her hand in front of her to try to dispel the smoke. Inside the shop, a voice called out to the pair.

“Come in, come in,” Zakariah said while waving them over. The old man then continue to work with some beakers and vials of various liquids. His hair was growing gray with age (although due to his nature as an NPC, probably looks no different than when he was first created) and his hands showing the test of time as they were incredibly thin. “I am terribly sorry for the mess here, but you’ll have to excuse me. A ton of orders to make, a ton of people to help. Do you have any business here or are you just here to browse?”

Kataware followed the voice to the inside. On the sides, there were shelves and displays of a multitude of different salves, potions, and crystals alongside the tools that were used to create them. However, the counter that Zakariah stood behind was entirely made of glass with the most colorful display of his stock. Kataware couldn't help but feel a bit in awe until she remembered that Rav and her were planning to go take this questline. “Yes, actually we do have some business here's. I was wondering if you could help us out. We are inexperienced with how this game works.”

“Of course I can help you! The first thing you guys can do for me is both of you to accept that thing that just popped up in front of you by pressing the corresponding button.” On cue, a notification popped up in front of Kataware, asking if she would accept this quest simply titled, <<The First Few Lessons Are Free>>. She accepted it almost as soon as it popped up. “This will start the questline. Afterwards, simply get 5 Tier One materials for each of you and then come back here. I’ll give you more objectives once you get back.”

“Well Rav, know any places where we can go get these materials?” Kataware turned to her tall comrade.

  17. The sun rose above the horizon and its rays pierced the thin curtains before landing on Kataware’s face. It would be a few minutes before she would stir from her sleep and wake up inside the plain room. She sat up and removed the thin sheets that protected her from the chilly wind that came through the window she insisted to keep open while she slept. After rubbing the sleep away from her eyes, she checked her game stats and had a small twinge of disappointment in herself as she saw her level.

Kataware had made zero progress since this death game had started two years ago. She understood that many people were doing their best to clear the floors as quickly as they can, but after two years, the best that the players could claim was reaching the 23rd Floor.  Kataware climbed out of bed while checking her inventory, swiping across - and pressing buttons on - the game’s menu. Nothing except the Tank Starting Package that Cardinal started handing out to players that were still at Level 1 a bit ago. She equipped the few things that she had, putting her small dagger in a leather sheath strapped to her waist and donned her breastplate before exiting the inn.

Kataware walked through the streets with an importance in her step. Before she knew it, since she was occupied with finding out as much information as she could about this virtual world (which, sadly, didn't amount to much), certain players had already set out and started their trailblazing by beating the Floor Bosses. To Kataware, it seemed impossible to catch up to those players (who were getting increasingly glorified by the storytellers visiting the taverns and pubs). However, Cardinal had decided to bestow a gift to the lower-leveled players. Rumors had it that Cardinal had created a questline to give newer players the chance to get their feet wet, and Kataware planned to seize that opportunity.

She stopped in front of the shop that she heard was the beginning of this quest line. Above the door was a wooden sign hanging from a metal bar that stuck out of the building, but the words on it were too faded to read. Guess this is where everything else will start.

    Profile
    Username: Kataware
    Real name: Dogu Eimin
    Age: 20 -> 22 [Adjusted for Time]
    Gender: Female
    Height: 5’3” (160 cm)

    About: History/personality:
Dogu Eimin considered herself blessed as she looked at the wallpaper on her phone depicting the rest of her family consisting of her brother, sister, and parents, smiling while focusing on something that wasn’t captured in the image. She smiled to herself as she put away her phone and thought to herself. Only my family could get that happy over seeing that old movie. The train station’s calming blue lights went on as the sun began to set and giv5e way to twilight. A small voice interrupted her thoughts.

“Excuse me.” Dogu turned around to see one of her classmates back from high school. “Dogu Eimin, was it?” She gave a curt nod in response. “You never were the socialite, were you?” Dogu simply stared at the man. His name had escaped her, but she remembered his face. “Let me thank you for sticking up for me back then. If it’s at all possible, can I treat you to something?” He put on a nervous smile.

“I’m sorry. I cannot.” His smile slowly melted. “I don’t mean to be mean, but it’s already twilight and I do have to attend a college class in the morning. Also, please don’t take what I do personally, especially after four years. I would’ve done the same for anyone. If someone’s willing to throw punches against someone undeserving, they should have prepared for someone to fight back.” The train rolled into the station and came to a stop. Dogu entered the train, but lingered by the doorway. She turned around to face the man and bowed. “Thank you for the offer. I hope you understand.”

As the doors closed in front of her, she walked to the nearest vacant seat and sat down. Between school, work, and her family, she barely had any time for creating new relationships. Especially ones that have a romantic implication. While on the way back home, she reminesced about her entire life wondering what had brought her to this point.

It was mostly normal aside from a couple of things. For starters, she never knew her biological parents, as she was abandoned and adopted shortly after birth. However, for all she cared, her adoptive family was her real family as they treated Dogu like she was one of their own, so Dogu never cared for finding out who her biological parents were. The only second abnormality was her behavior. Among the people in her life, she was considered as the most down-to-earth as one could get, as she never really had a major aspiration in life without thinking through it first. After some contemplation, she knew what she wanted and set her sights on it. She entered college to increase her chances to become a more effective civil service worker, to have friends worthy of calling them family, and to impact the lives of people around her.

However, tonight was going to be some much-needed alone time for Dogu. She was starting to get burnt up from all of these responsibilities, and everyone knew that tonight was her night to do whatever she wanted by herself. So she planned on setting up that NerveGear to finally play a game she has been wanting to try since she heard of its announcement that it was going to hit the shelves in select stores. It was finally time for her hard-earned money from working as a temporary civil service worker to pay off. In about an hour, she would reach her house and exchange pleasantries with her family. She would put on the NerveGear helmet, start up the game known as Sword Art Online, and finally say her final words in the real world, “Link Start.”

    Virtues:
Realist: Dogu Eimin is not one to hope for the ideal situations or to lament over how much worse or better they can be. She simply takes everything as it is in front of her and understands that the facts of the current situation has already been laid-out. This allows her to adapt to many situations, no matter how unpredictable they may be.

Benevolent: Dogu has a nice head on her shoulders when it comes to helping people out. She was never the type of person to turn a blind eye towards someone who seemed as if they needed help (at least, when the situation permitted) , no matter how small their issue seemed to be. Helping people who cross paths with her has always been normal for Dogu and she’s always glad that she made a positive impact on someone’s life.

Dauntless: Dogu has heard many times in her life that she has a strong sense of bravery. However, many people mistake bravery for the resolution to carry out one’s actions. Dogu is dauntless, unwilling to let any sort of obstacle to truly stop her.

    Flaws:
Reactive: As it is, Dogu’s realist nature tends to be on the analytical side as she attempts to figure out the best resolution. The only issue with this is that she rarely ever tries to change a factor herself, and gets thrown off when something does change unexpectedly. Her reactive nature extends to her very mentality of, “Life is like a game, you can either act or react. Acting means you open yourself to opportunities. Reacting means you take those.”

Restrained: Dogu Eimin is not a social butterfly, but to call it shyness is not exactly the correct word. Much like an introvert, Dogu sometimes indulges herself in her own company more than having a friend or two stay by her side constantly. However, becoming her friend and gaining her trust still proves a challenge as she believes that impacting a few people’s lives in a significant way is more important than attempting to extend her reach in exchange for those relationships. Simply searching for people to help isn’t really her style.

Blunt: If anyone were to say that Dogu knew how to handle things with tact and subtleties, they most likely never even talked to the girl. She is unbearably blunt as she doesn’t have the normal inhibitions or worries while in a social situation and speaks her mind freely. In the real world, she’d rather tell someone that they were bleeding out while attempting to reassure them than give them the lie that their injuries aren’t as bad as they truly are.
