  1. Kiro slowly backed off after the assault that his opponent initiated against him, while his fatigue took over him. He just needed a single second to breathe, and thankfully he had enough time to. The blue-haired and eyed child glanced down at his sword, wearing a warm and happy smile on his face before turning to face his opponent with a furious look. “Sword, let’s do this together. You and I are both partners, and I hope we can continue working with you,” He faintly mumbled, nodding his head once and entering a balanced stance to gradually come to defeat his opponent and defend against him if his attack missed. The boy looked at Cosi this time, noticing that the male trusted him to finish this mob now so they could loot it and to continue their task. He returned his gaze to the boar and charged forward at an impressive pace, performing a simple but swift horizontal slash in the hopes of defeating it for once. Once again, he thought about using a healing potion either right after the battle or in the middle of it, if this attack didn’t finish him off. Though he knew the natural healing that this game gave to everyone outside of battle would be enough to cover his wounds before they moved on to fight against another monster. Next time, however, he would make sure to ask for his teammate’s help to injure him first, so he could finish the job later. His attack missed his opponent by a lot, thanks to the lack of energy and accuracy and received a powerful strike to the gut. His health bar decreased once more, reaching critical numbers. He needed to use potions soon.

  2. Kiro continued to observe the store while examining the light armory it provided. He shook his head, believing that it was not something he actually needed at the moment and so the blue-haired child returned to the counter and took a seat behind it. He quickly glanced to the stairs that led to the room where the man most likely worked at and where he spent most of his time; he wasn’t sure if the adult spent most of his time in the shop and made it his own house or not, and didn’t want to ask either. Truth to be told, he didn’t want to get into his personal life to seem like a creep or anything of that matter. The boy nodded his head once, examining the store once again. There seemed to be a few customers coming and going, but he surely knew that the man would appreciate more people checking him out. “I guess it is because there are more people using heavy armor that lighter ones,” he faintly mumbled, observing Hei return with his order; a dark cloak that covered most of your body and facial features, and that could be worn during battles to make you quicker as well as more defensive. The child bowed his head and handed over a bag full of money, smiling gently and in a friendly manner. “Thank you very much, mister Hei,” he said and turned around, exiting the store to continue in his exciting journey of becoming a strong swordsman and the one to end this death game.

  3. Kiro had turned around and started walking all around the store to explore the area and see what they had on stock for people to buy without ordering a custom weapon from the best blacksmith of Aincrad. The blue-haired child did agree with the rumors, now that it was the most active store of them all where even the strongest players that rushed through the floor bosses and unlocked new floors visited and requested equipment from. He nodded his head, glancing to one of the heaviest armor of them all, rubbing his chin. The boy started to think about how heavy it would be to wear and that it could stop him from being as quick as he wanted to be. However, before he could think much about it, he was interrupted by the adult’s comment. “It’s a pleasure to meet you, mister Macradon, and please do,” he replied in a joyful tone of voice, bowing his head slightly and continuing to examine the armor pieces until the male declared that his equipment was finished and ready to be picked up by it’s new order. He would surely remember the name of this person, and would try to become a custom client too. When he needs his armor to be checked out, that is. Once he was called out to pick up the blade, the boy charged to the adult's location with a smile on his face, beginning to test it out in the air. The balance on it was perfect, and he could tell that he was hitting where he wanted to. With equipment like this, it would be hard for him to miss shots against his opponents.

Kiro bowed his head o once again, sheathing his blade and placing it on his back. “Thank you very much, sir,” he said, handing over the materials requested and turning around to exit the store. Hopefully, the adventures that now awaited them him would be more exciting than the last ones! He was finally one step closer to completing his goal, but there was still a lot yet to be done.

  4. Kiro nodded to the older female, noticing that she had been speaking about this make for a while and wondering why that name was so familiar to her. He had no idea about who was about to join them, so there was no way to reply to her question but to shake his head. The blue-haired child proceeded to look forward and their new target and to examine his movements, which seemed to be very basic but realistic. At times like these, he would forget that he was in a virtual reality world because of the minimal difference of the two worlds. There seemed to be lack of defense in this mob, which made him seem like a weak target but it could possibly be deadly to him and his teammate. Hopefully, the two of them would defeat it in time to survive it’s attacks. This was his first time in a party, but he already knew everything about teamwork and the special technique that could be performed between two fighters. The boy never did manage to explain it to the two, now that the name of it was self-explanatory and that they would probably understand on their first attempt. He quickly closed his eyes and tried to focus on his opponent, trying to view his next actions against them and how they would end up defeating it without receiving much damage, or any at that.

Kiro would dash forward with his sword in hand, performing a swift slash against his opponent which would cut through it’s skin and leaving a pixelated injury. Then, he would command a swift with his partner where he would charge in and finish their opponent off with his long weapon. The child nodded his head, opening his eyes and locking them on his target. He turned to face the white-haired male called Kuruyama, approaching him in a friendly manner. “I wanted to use a technique that I’ve learned about a while ago. It’s called switch, and it’s a technique where I would attack my opponent and ask for someone to take my place to finish it off. It is quite basic, but I want to see if the two of us can successfully perform it,” he explained to the adult, unsheathing his blade and making his way to the boar. The boy took a short breath, examining the area once again and trying to calculate the possibilities of him failing the initial assault and for Kuruyama to continue the chain like he was supposed to. He sighed, guessing that this game was, after all, based of luck and strategies at first and that he would have to try before giving up in this task. He was going to be supported by both his teammate and the system, so he decided to trust them and see how things turned out. His initial strike landed against his opponent successfully, making it stagger and walk back being unable to perform a comeback. He turned around to face his friend, dashing backward while shouting, “Switch!”

  5. Kiro grit his teeth in pain, unable to look away from his opponent and hoping that his teammate was trusting him to finish this battle. He took a short moment to regain a portion of his energy, trying to think of another plan to use in this battle. The child had kept in mind that he could always use a healing potion in case his opponent managed to get him very low in terms of health, though he wasn’t sure if the mob would keep the challenge going for longer. From what he was told in the Town of the Beginnings, the weaker a mob is the worst his luck on hitting their enemy is. However, in this case, it seemed to be to contrary to their information. Later, he would report to the other players to tell them about it. “For now, I need to focus on defeating my foe and them we can move on,” he internally thought, letting his calm behavior take through once again, and locked his eyes on the boar with a slight smile on his face. The golden-haired adult entrusted him with this task, so he had to make sure to complete it and surprise him with his skills. The blue-haired child shifted into a more offensive stance, speeding forward and thrusting his blade to his opponent in the attempt of stroking his body. He wanted to defeat it as quickly as possible, but he also made sure to concentrate while hoping that the system would support him enough this time. The boy successfully slashed his opponent and sent him staggering back, leaving it with little to no health remaining. A single touch more, and it would remain defeated. However, it didn't give up and decided to charge forward and strike him in the gut with it's head. He felt no real damage, but he knew that his health was going down now that he was keeping track of it. Yet, he stood tall and prepared himself for the comeback.

  6. Kiro managed to find out that his teammate stood back like he was asked to and went ahead to go behind their opponent, just in case it tried to run away from him and go somewhere else. Most likely to gather more forces to help them defeat the two warriors. He trusted the male with his life, so the boy knew the golden-haired adult would step in if his health was turning into low levels or anything of that matter. The blue-haired child locked his eyes once again on his opponent, feeling quite tired after the initial strike at first but was easily able to regain that lost amount of energy when the two backed off just slightly. He kept the same serious look on his face, planning on his next strike and about how it would play out if he did everything right like last time. He visualized himself charging forward for an upwards strike, cutting his opponent in half and leaving him with some health remaining in him or defeated in small blue pixels. He hoped that the second option would take place in this scenario, but he could never be so sure about himself in his first battle scenario. The boy nodded his head to himself, charging forward at an impressive pace and attempted to slash his opponent with an upwards swing and waited to see what happened to the boar. His attack had missed, making him quite tired after being unable of hitting anything. However, he was still able to draw his sword forward and barely keep the monster away from him while it attacked him.

  7. Kiro noticed that he was sighing way too much lately, and it was most likely because of the frustration that the two of them were receiving in this situation where they couldn’t find a single item. The blue-haired child was thinking about approaching his opponent and fight against him to get items from it in the end. He thought it would make it quicker than normal to, so he glanced at his teammate while he continued to seek for materials and approached him, slightly poking his left arm. “Let’s fight against it. It will be useful to get some experience in battle, as well as possibly some loot,” he declared with a gentle smile on his face, pointing at his target with a single finger. The boy waited next to the man for a moment, trying to figure out and hear what his thoughts were exactly about him going alone in the battle scene to finish off the mob and clear the area by a bit. He was sure that there were more packs running around carelessly without knowing that there were people here to hunt them down. He made sure to close his eyes and view how he hoped the battle would go, locking his eyes on his opponent. Guessing that Cosi would back him up if things went wrong, he quickly signaled his teammate to follow him and unsheathed his sword. Suddenly, he rushed forward in the direction of the boar in there attempt to slash it when he was close enough to it. He kept a serious look on his face, which meant that he was trying his hardest to focus on his enemy while hoping that the system was assisting him mid-assault. Sure enough, his initial strike managed to land on his opponent, tearing his skin apart and leaving his health half there to be depleted. To protect himself, the boar charged forward and stroke in the stomach. However, it was not enough to make him give up. If anything, it made him more willing to defeat it. He turned to face his friend, trying to tell him not to bother entering the bout because he had it in the bag. Unless something bad was about to happen, that is.

  8. Kiro made it to the next area of the southern forest which seemed to be a very dark place called The deepest part of the Southern Forest. It was a very long name, but that was one of the reasons it made it sound scary to the boy. Once he took the first step inside of this area, he glanced around the area in the attempt of spotting any opponents that would possibly attempt to attack one of the two and force them to run away. The blue-haired child was able to find a single frenzy boar but decided to seek for items first and then head near the beast to defeat it and clear the area for a while until it spawned back. It was very common for monsters to spawn back quickly, but depending on the actions of the players around it, they could slow the process down. The boy made it near a camp of large flowers standing at forty-one inches in height, almost as big as one of the swords that he wanted to request to a blacksmith or that he would make himself. He flashed a gentle smile and walked past them, hoping that they wouldn’t attack him out of nowhere, if possible. The kid looked around once to notice how well the other man was doing, guessing that he would be following him in this yet to be explored area. He approached a garden full of brilliant items and attempted to find anything of use inside of it. Hopefully, this time he would thrive and achieve what he wanted; to complete his quest for once. However, once again, he failed and he found nothing but golden dirt.

  9. Kiro shook his head in disbelief, unable to find anything in the floor between the bushes that stood tall near him. If anything, his unprotected part of his palm was the one to get injured in the process. The blue-haired child sighed, raising his head to glance to the warrior, noticing that he didn’t get very lucky and didn’t find anything in the end. He rubbed his chin and bit his lip lightly, resting his back on the ground and trying to think of a way to successfully increase the number of materials they were gathering, but nothing came across his mind. The boy shifted into a sitting pose and turned around, looking for items that were most likely a little deeper into the ground by digging into the dirt. “Let’s see if I find anything like this. Hopefully, I do,” he thought to himself with a determined look, beginning the process. However, the deeper he was going, the more obvious it became too him that there was nothing under the ground and that he was most likely wasting his time using this new method. The kid ran away to another spot, signaling the make to follow him. They were going to move on and head deeper inside of the forest.

  10. Kiro rose to his feet once again, shaking the dust off his pants as he glanced to the older man, listening to his comment. He shook his head in disagreement, smiling gently while chuckling under his breath. “It isn’t a stupid idea, now that there could be better materials up there. However, I don’t want you to risk your life doing something like that,” he replied to the male, rubbing the back of his head and lowering it to look towards the ground. “I will pay attention to you now, so I will make sure to grab you when you’re falling if you trip. I might get hurt a bit, but I’m willing to pay with damage but to save you from dying,” he declared with a serious tone of voice, approaching the location where the male would be falling on if he did accidentally trip while speaking with him. The blue-haired and eyed child gazed upon the floor, trying to find anything helpful to him. For example, crafting materials made of steel that was said to be common in this area but that he didn’t manage to get his hands on. During a few moments, however, the kid would glance to his teammate to figure out if he was having trouble climbing the tree, or not.

  11. Kiro was quite happy that his luck was still as high as before, and he hoped that it would keep like that until their task was finally over and that they were ready to head over to the blacksmithing shop and to start working on a weapon using a hammer that was made just for him. The blue-haired child could already imagine himself inside of the shop using this iron hammer to slam it into the pieces of materials he had gathered in the process and making a good weapon or armor for him to use, or to sell in the near future! Hopefully, they would be made of good quality. He stretched his arms backward, feeling a bit tired all of that time seeking for materials and being unable to find anything. It made him wonder if he was made for this job, but those thoughts quickly disappeared thanks to his will to continue, determination of steel and positivity. The boy looked back, noticing that the adult had finally made it to him, asking him to protect his items while he climbed the tree. He blinked in confusion, unable to believe that the man was going to risk his life to grab a single material. “You don’t have to go up there, I’m sure we’ll find something,” he declared, but it was far too late as the male had already grabbed the giant plant and attempted to go up there and see if there was anything left for him to pick up.

The boy sighed in disbelief, shaking his head and turning around to find any more materials by himself while he waited for his teammate to come back from his trip. Sadly enough, he was unable to find anything of much worth. He glanced upwards, wondering if the male had succeeded or not in finding one.

  12. Kiro turned around once again, trying to find something else that would compensate for his failed attempt or that wouldn’t make him look bad for having so bad luck. The blue-haired child was told that he could find lots of crafting materials laying half-struck into the ground, but that never happened to neither of them. He released a sigh of disappointment on himself, shaking his head for a moment. “This will surely take us a lot longer, but I can’t say that I’m not enjoying myself,”  he thought to himself, chuckling under his breath while taking a moment to stare at the flowers with a smile laying on his face. The boy would attempt to move somewhere else but was interrupted by the golden-haired male’s comments stating how bad his luck was. Both of them were similar to a certain extent. “I see. Yeah, it will surely take us a while longer to finish,” he replied to the man, rubbing the back of his head while chuckling. However, they were on the same boat; he charged to another location which was closer to Cosi’s current one and started looking for any materials ready to be picked up. Luckily enough, the swordsman found a bright metal ingot laying in the ground and decided to pick it up and hide it in his pocket.

  13. Kiro had gone farther in distance in comparison to the adult, considering that he was having bad luck at first. The blue-haired child thought Cosi would be around him most of the time, so he just looked at him here and there to tell how good his progression was compared to him regarding the material gathering quest. However, at some point, he lost track of him and found himself in the middle of multiple trees and flowers. The boy sighed in disbelief, glancing around the area to see if there were any remaining materials in there before they could move on. He didn’t want to regret not looking hard into the grass for crafting items that he would be used in his journey, so he lowered to the ground and started looking for materials. Before he could find anything, a familiar voice called for him, asking about his progress. “I’ve found one so far, but I’m still looking,” he replied in a joyful tone. “What about you?” He questioned, continuing to look for anything and hoping to succeed. However, his luck spike ended and made him fail in finding anything.

  14. Kiro smiled gently, shrugging. He had not found any materials in the wilderness and was doubting that they would complete this quest easily. The blue-haired child rose to his feet and scanned the area once again, attempting to find crafting materials that would aid him on his quest and anything of that matter. His perceptive eyes had yet to adapt to the function of this game that allowed them to seek for items struck in the ground, even if it was mostly based off luck like he was told earlier on when the game had just been released. The boy glanced at his teammate, who seemed to be having as much trouble as him finding items, until he crouched down to the ground to see a metallic ingot and pick it up, shoving it in his pocket. If the pacing of this mission was going to be so bad, he would most likely be relying on the materials that the two of them would be gathering in total. He shook his head in disagreement, looking down to the floor once again and beginning to search for any items that would come in handy to their task. The short swordsman's eyes widened in surprise, finally managing to find the first material in a while. He had successfully regained his hope of completing this quest and was more than willing to continue doing so.

  15. Kiro sighed, shaking his head in disappointment. Truth to be told, he couldn’t tell how or why he was unlucky in these types of tasks. The blue-haired child knew for a fact that this was just a game, and that the luck he had on his previous life would not transfer to the next one. If anything, it got worsened by the same amount. He began to walk across the herbs and other types of plants in the area he was standing on, finding their beauty to be outstanding to say the least! The boy had been doing his best to mentally prepare himself for the last couple of months and, thanks to his newly-made friends, he was able to progress at a rather quick pace in this world, and hopefully he could keep it going like this for a while long until he could protect himself on his own. Though, the kid would make sure to contact each one of them in times of need; for example, when he needed support against a field boss in one of the higher floors were he would be joining the frontline players, or at least that’s what he hoped.

The boy took a short moment to glance at the two once more, noticing that they were getting along quite well for two people who had just met. He was quite jealous of their relationship and, truth to be told, he wanted to get along with everyone just as well. The older woman called Sunova noticed that he was gazing at them and explained how finding items worked in Aincrad. It was something based on luck, was what he understood from her explanation which was very simple to understand and remember in future instances. Kiro turned his head forward once again, continuing to view his menu in the messages section to read his news partner’s message over and over again, while Su viewed him from behind while skipping around. She quickly stepped by and moved closer to Kurayama, beginning to re-explain their goals and what they would do in dangerous situations. He took a moment of his time to listen to what she had to say, knowing that it would be important for the rest of their training session.

The female was insisting in making the boy feel safe around them one of their priorities, and somehow he felt very nice and happy because of that. The boy gently smiled to her, bowing his head in due respect. Kiro was once more thinking about opening the friend menu and sending each one of them a friend request, but he thought that he could save it for later now that it would possibly bother them and make them unable to concentrate mid battle and that was surely not something he wanted to see happen to any of them. A single mistake could end their lives in this game, so they has to be careful when sealing with these types of scenarios. The child walked away to another spot to see what there was yet to be found and picked up, but decided to give up on it for the time being and to search for animals to fight against instead.

Before he could move away from the couple, Sunova stopped him and commented about the new player joining their party and how they were called. “He’s called Grimm, I think,” he declared, smiling gently to the female. Kiro thought that the man had already joined their party by now, but he didn’t want to bother the female with false news as he didn’t check himself.  The boy looked around once more, spotting a dark frenzy boar roaming around the camp of flowers and destroying a few of them. He pointed his finger towards it, signaling his two available teammates to go after it first now that they were the most experienced ones out of the bunch, and the strongest ones too. While he was happy that they found a chest, there was an opponent that they had to defeat. Moments later, the boy heard someone yell to them. Most likely, it was the person seeking to help them. It was surprising how quick he got here, considering how late his message arrived. “Good morning. We’re about to fight against that monster,” he briefly explained, waiting to see how the others would react.

  16. Kiro rose to his feet, sighing a little. They’ve left early in the morning, yet it still felt like time was frozen in this time of the day. Perhaps they wanted to make it seem like time was passing by slowly, but the truth was it was rushing through as a light but quick feather. The blue-haired child glanced around himself once again, using his untrained sight to spot any unlikely crafting materials in this area that were yet to be found and taken to a better place. He approached one of the trees that he had been thinking about for a while now, guessing that he could probably search for items inside of it, or something of that matter. There were rumors that materials were easy to find in this area, yet he would never agree with those considering the trouble he was having finding a single metallic ingot that were really common in this floor. His eyes glanced to a quite bright item resting on the ground, like if it was asking to be picked up and thrown on top of an anvil. The boy lightly smiled, bowing his head before he proceeded to walk forward to confirm that it was what he was looking for and not something else of low worth. However, before he could take a single step forward, a bell sound ringed in his head.

Kiro tapped his ear, feeling like it was bleeding or something of that matter. He quickly brought up two fingers and slid them downwards, opening the menu. The ringing bell stopped taking place at the same moment, guessing that it was probably how messages worked in this world. However, he didn’t receive one from Kuruyama’s own message. Perhaps there was a way of disabling the ringing bell, and turning it in a single beep motion instead. He entered the message’s board of his, noticing that someone with the username of Grimm had sent him a message, asking about the meaning of the words on his announcement. There was someone else who was asking to join them, so his sheet of paper most likely seemed better in a way than others. The boy proceeded to begin typing a reply to the person, stating the most important details about their journey and hoping that this new person would join them.

    From: Kiro

    To: Grimm

    Subject: Your Message [Reply]

Good morning, mister Grim. My name is Kiro, and what I meant with my announcement is to say that I wanted to meet new people that I could trust with the task of protecting my back, as well as to be friends with. Now, I will entrust you with the coordinates to our location and I wish you good luck on your journey here.

               With much care, Kiro.

The blue-haired child proceeded to send their coordinates to the person and hoping that they would safely arrive to them. Considering that he would be having trouble finding them with just the pinpointed location in his map, Kiro managed to invite the still unknown person to his party and hoping that he could track them using the map of the first floor. It would read Southern Forest, an area told to be full of materials and mobs to increase in levels. A good place to farm, in general. The kid turned around to face both of his teammates, explaining the situation to them before proceeding to pick up the item that he has seen before. Sadly enough, it just seemed to be a small bright rock struck into the ground! It seemed like his luck was surely bad when it came to finding items.

  17. Kiro nodded to the female while she stated, once again, that their goal was to return safely to the town with as less injuries as possible. He was not able to listen to their conversation now that he was ahead of both of them, and was focused on his opponent which made it hard for him to hear what they were saying. Truth to be told, the boy thought they were discussing other matters like gathering equipment or raising their levels, or something like that, which is why he head in front of them while he hoped that at least one of the two fighters decided to follow him. His hopes were replenished when the white-haired woman appeared next to him after a long conversation with the other male, which probably meant that he was not allowed to ask about it. Perhaps they were speaking about adult topics, which was surely a blacklisted one in his list. He sighed, confused by the thought of it and decided to move on and to ignore his inner thoughts until they were over with this opponent and when he would possibly get the chance to speak with them. When they made it to a rather close range, he noticed that the man was not available thanks to Sunova’s explanation, as well as his common first thought. “I guess we’ll have to fight on our own,” he replied to her in a low but calm tone, before his palm was tightly grabbed by the woman, who he feared that she would opt to use him to attract the monster’s attention. The blue-haired child gulped, before hearing her comment which cleared his thoughts and made it up for him. These people were similar to him, being positive in almost every situation.

Kiro happily smiled, nodding his head as a reply to her speech and stood still like she ordered him to. He observed her unsheath her katana, with all of her might, and quickly rush forward in the attempt of slashing her opponent multiple times to make it back off while she prepared for her follow-up technique, which she explained as Sword Arts. The boy nodded his head in acknowledgement, rubbing his chin and taking notes of the movements she used during her match against this boar. It quickly fell to the ground, lifeless. Seconds later, the female approached him and began to explain the system that the floating castle used to determine battles and how much damage everyone would deal to opponents, and stuff of that matter. He took notes of her explanation, hoping that it would be helpful to him in the future. Though, the boy thought it would be better to have experience in battle than just basic knowledge about how damage worked against mobs, which was something that was explained by a few players who seemed to get the hang out of this game faster than others, but it was never explained to him with that much detail.

Shortly after, the older man managed to find them with fainting a little from what seemed to be a long run, adding more information to what Sunova has previously spoken while also clearing up a few mistakes that she made. Kiro shook his head to his next comment, glancing to the female next to him. He was wondering if she had gotten anything, now that she was the one ending the monster. It would make sense if she did, or so the boy thought. Kuruyama then went ahead explaining what business he had to attend to, resulting to be a few issues at the inn he was going to rest in for the night or possibly a couple of days. “No, that’s fine, sir,” he replied, flashing a friendly smile and one that would hopefully clear the male’s doubts and fill him with positivity instead. Kiro quickly turned around, starting to look around the floor for items that would possibly help them later on. He was interested in getting a profession, and these would help him when he would’ve successfully set a store and started his own business. However, his attempt was failed and the kid rose to his feet once again to continue his journey.

  18. Kiro slid the sheet of paper near the male, turning around and starting to scan the shop to see what design this shop had and if it had a similar environment as the blacksmith he visited a while ago. However, he was just getting a different vibe from this store; it was more of a calm place now that there was no heavy forging going on, so it wasn’t hot in the inside of it. That was surely something nice that was added to this profession, which slightly made it better to be a tailor than a blacksmith. The white-haired man he earlier met had some sort of second floor where he could work at and decrease the amount of heat his work released to the upper area. That was surely a good addition to his place, compared to the other blacksmithing buildings that could be bought in the city. He could also recall seeing a note on the door, declaring that beginners could receive free items but he thought that he wouldn't really need those, or at least for the time being! The blue-haired child took a step forward to one of the walls, noticing the armory that this adult had and what were the free items he spoke about in the entrance.

They were surely good items, yet they didn’t fit his needs and didn’t find them useful for the time being. His inspection was stopped by the interaction that the male provided him, stating his name. Kiro nodded his head with a gentle smile on his face, bowing and raising his head shortly after. The boy turned around once more to face the well-built items, taking closer looks at them here and them, but he lacked the ability to check their status bonuses now that he was not a tailor. “I could ask for their description, when he’s done,” he faintly mumbled, nodding while rubbing his chin. Not long after, the male spoke to him once more, stating that he could pick them up if he wanted to. Perhaps because he was examining them far too much for his liking. He sighed, shaking his head in disagreement. “No! It’s fine, sir. I think someone else will find more use in these than me,” he stated, chuckling lightly. If anything, though, the boy would want a discount in the actual price. He returned to his previous location and sat on top of a chair, resting while waiting for him to end his task. Hopefully, the adult would complete his request like he was told to.

  19. Kiro continued to move on alone for a short while, until he turned around and noticed that the two fighters were still behind speaking to each other. When they saw both of them like that, he could remember how his mother and father were when he was younger and surely he didn’t want to see those images of his past. At least, not now. The blue-haired child chuckled gently, watching them speak to each other and state that their only way of coming back from the wilderness alive was to trust each other and to do their best to protect themselves and the ones in need of help. He observed the female turn to face him and explain what this game was about, adding more information about Aincrad that he didn’t know previously. The boy nodded his head in agreement, smiling. He was happy because they thought alike, as he wasn’t sure if everyone in this death game acted like them.

Truth to be told, the youngling already trusted the two enough to let them protect him from assaults and he wished that they did, too. Though, considering his amount of strength, it would probably not be something that could be accomplished that easily by them. Kiro glanced to the top left corner of his sight, noticing that the white-haired swordsman managed to enter their party by accepting his party request. He nodded his head once, turning around and walked forward in the direction of the deepest part of this forest. Thankfully, by now, Su was following him and, hopefully, Kuruyama was too. The boy could already see multiple trees of great height and possibly resistance, where they could probably find materials if they tried to. He stopped in the middle of the trail, scanning his surroundings to see what there was available for them to pick up as well as any mobs, if there were any in the area. His attempt was successful, spotting a frenzy boar roaming around carelessly.

Kiro pointed at the animal without making any sound, turning his head to look at his teammates. “I found one. Kuruyama, do you want to attack him first?” He whispered loud enough for the two to hear him but without attracting the attention of their target. The blue-haired child crouched down, taking as much cover as possible, and started to move closer to his opponent. Seconds later, he performed a sign with his arm for his partners to move on and strike it as soon as possible. However, when he turned around, one of his teammates was no longer to be seen. The boy didn't know where he had gone, now that he was too focused on the enemy.

  20. Kiro exited the store of the famous blacksmith whom he had only found out about recently when he began roaming around and looking for information about the best blacksmithing store in town. The one thing he forgot to ask about was about a tailor, but he still had time to visit every shop and see who would do a better job at crafting him good pieces of equipment. The blue-haired child head near a group of civilians, which he guessed were NPCs at first but resulted to be actual players who didn’t mind fighting to exit this world. He sighed in disbelief, heading closer to them to listen to their conversation. From what he could tell, the adults were currently speaking about a store; a tailor’s workplace called “The Hanger.” A smile grew on his face in happiness, now that it didn’t take him long to find out what the first store he would visit was. However, he didn’t know the exact coordinates of it but decided to go look around one of the beginner quest locations. The boy heard that new tailors make their equipment there for starters to take and help them in their adventures.

He nodded his head once, quickly heading in the direction of the quests. Moments later, he arrived in multiple stores in which there were the beginner quests, that taught you about multiple professions, and the player-held tailoring shops which he was seeking for. Kiro scanned the area, attempting to find the one with the name “The Hanger” on its entrance. His eyes locked on into a fairly modern building, thinking that it was probably the store that he wanted to visit. The blue-haired child approached the store's entrance, taking a short breath before pushing the door wide open to glance around its interior. He could see a room heading to the attic on the right, while there was a board full with equipment for the people who bought it to retrieve. The boy approached the counter, spotting a fairly young man sitting behind it while working on a few requests.

He bowed his head respectfully, glancing at the multiple sheets that used to make equipment requests. “Good morning, sir. I’ve come here to ask you for a piece of light armor,” he declared, flashing a gentle but bright smile. Kiro proceeded to sit down on one of the chairs and fill in the form with details about his armor and how he wanted it to be. He nodded his head, handing over the sheet of paper to the adult so he could begin working on his durable cloak. The Swordsman began to walk around the store, trying to find something of interest to him. For example, items that would help him find items in the wilderness with ease. “My name’s Kiro. Would you mind if I ask for yours?” He spoke in a happy and joyful tone of voice, as he was clearly interested in what the male had to say back.

  21. Kiro had returned to the Town of the Beginning with a gentle smile on his face, standing near the gates. He has been in a lot of adventures outside the safe zone so far, and would sure!y like to continue embarking into these until he was strong enough to join the most advanced players of Aincrad in the frontlines, where he would do his best to assist them. The blue-haired child knew he was going to need better equipment sooner or later, so he began to look around the main area for a shop that would forge a stronger weapon than the one he was currently wielding. Just the thought of seeing new blades and a new refined shop excited him, so he hurriedly ran all around the city gathering information from other players. The only shop people recommended to him was other one called “The Blazing Typhoon,” which was a seemingly popular shop that even the top players visited to get their weapons upgraded or to get new equipment. What remained to be done was to check it out by himself, so the short child went ahead and recorded the coordinates of the building in his map, following the trail to it.

Not long after, he found himself right before the mighty shop which withheld weapons on display on the entrance of the shop, as well as a logo that resembled it. Kiro nodded his head, guessing that designs like these could increase the visibility of his own store that he was going to open in the near future. The boy continued to inspect the outside of the shop for a short while until he went ahead and pushed the door open, stepping inside of it. He glanced to the counter, noticing a person sitting right behind it. From what he could tell, the adult was the blacksmith and the owner of this store. The youngling bowed his head from a distance, walking to the a male with a gentle smile on his face. “Good morning, sir. I’m here to request a sword,” he declared, reaching to the top of one of the chairs and began to fill the spaces in the request form that he found on top of the table. Then, he handed it over and waited for the man to read it and begin working on the sword. “My name is Kiro, by the way. Would you mind me asking for your own?” He nicely asked, slightly tilting his head to a side.

  22. Kiro shrugged, walking to the next area that seemed to be full of gigantic trees which long branches. His mouth opened in surprise, now that it was the first time seeing such beauty. In the real world, he was never able to see anything like this expect in the internet where he spent most of his time playing games and speaking with his friends. The blue-haired child looked forward and glanced around himself, examining the area with a close look with the hopes of finding something worth his time. He sighed, guessing that he was going to have better luck searching for materials than trying to spot them using his sight. The youngling turned around to face the golden-haired swordsman called Cosi unable to find anything either. If they wanted to get this over with and move on to the next part of the quest, if there was any, then they had to hurry up a bit.

The kid turned his head once again, approaching one of the biggest trees in the are thinking that there might be something near it. Once he was near it, Kiro noticed that there was a hole in the middle where there could be items hiding inside. The short boy nodded his head in agreement, sliding his hand inside of it and hoping to find something of use that would help him in this journey. He felt his hand touching something,  it wasn't able to figure out what it was. However, it was surely not what he was seeking for. The blue-haired child brought his arm outside of the tree while holding the item, noticing that it was just dirt and food that some animal must've hid there. He chuckled, smiling gently, looking around to find where to go next. The best option would be on the ground, like the NPC previously specified.

  23. Kiro turned around for a second, noticing that the adult was asleep until his voice reached him and made him jump in surprise. The blue-haired child sighed in disbelief, unable to tell if he was just acting to make him feel bad or if he was actually tired and wanted to go rest. He offered to help him and didn’t seem like there was something he needed to do first, like resting in an Inn. The golden man replied to him and stretched his body while cracking some of his limbs before beginning to follow him outside of the shop, most likely believing that he was going to lead the way. The boy had no choice but to do what the man wanted, as he didn't want to get lost in the wilderness and encounter powerful opponents. He exited the gigantic city through the gates, disabling the safe zone of the area and heading into what could possibly mean danger.

Truth to be told, Kiro wasn’t scared because he didn’t feel like there was a reason to. There was a male behind him, whom he trusted his back to. The kid wanted to believe that the tall but slim teenager could potentially protect him from any threats. While he did want to do that to the older male, he lacked of strength and power to do that, which is why he head into the forest. He continued to walk across the path that was leading him to the southern forest where he could finally begin his quest. Once they were deep inside of the area, the child looked around, scanning the area cautiously while also seeking for something that would help him progress through his quest. His eyes locked on into a bright item, stuck in the ground. “I think that’s a material,” he whispered to himself, proceeding to approach the area where he saw it. Unfortunately, the kid didn't find anything and sighed, moving to another spot.

  24. Kiro turned around before entering and nodded his head to the adult, excitedly playing with his fingers. Cosi moved past him and took the initiative on entering the shop, clarifying his thoughts by explaining the behavior of the NPCs. His voice sounded to confident that he couldn't help himself but to think about sending him a friend request. However, there was something he had to do and sending a friendship request could wait for later. Truth to be told, the boy wasn’t sure if the taller teenager saw him as a friend or not but thought that it would not take him long to figure that out as time went on during their adventure. The blue-haired child took a short breath and silently approached the NPC with a serious and determined look on his face, but trying not to laugh at his comment about RPGs.

He would make sure to do that after accepting it, for sure! “Good morning, sir. Is there something I could help you with?” He questioned the adult with a respectful tone of voice, his face shifting in something more of a smile. He wasn’t tense any more, so it helped to progress the course of the conversation. The blacksmith explained to him what he needed to do to earn this profession, and the boy accepted without thinking about it twice. “Well, well. Now, go to the southern forest. You will easily find many pieces of materials there,” spoke the man, waving them off. Before leaving, though, Kiro took a mere second to glance over this place; it was a paradise of armory! He never imagined himself holding a hammer and forging a sword until recently, and that was something good! Or so he thought! “Mister Cosi, we should leave now,” he declared, locking his eyes onto the door and exiting the building while dropping a single sweat. He was surely nervous during their conversation, but that tense feeling was now long gone.

  25. Kiro closed his eyes, knowing that he had to do it to advance in this death or life game where he was putting everything on the battlefield. He had to become stronger, and to learn how to forge weapons that would guide him in this world that people considered to be cursed. The blue-haired child gulped, raising his head lightly and opening his eyes, taking a step closer to the entrance of the building. Just before he could plant his hand on the wooden door, a voice spoke to him from behind! It sounded like an adult, and surely like someone that was honest and nice. The boy flashed a gentle smile, bowing his head respectfully to the man. “My name is Kiro, and it is a pleasure to meet you,” he declared, clearing his throat lightly before continuing to speak. “I’m here to take on the «Earning a Living» quest, and I would appreciate your help, mister Cosi,” he added, giggling. The golden-haired man was a merchant, so they could work together! For example, the boy could make weapons and sell them to him for a reasonable price and to which he’d be glad to work with him. Kiro shook his head, looking forward to the building and pushed the door wide open. “Hopefully, the NPC handing out the quest is a nice person,” he whispered faintly, struggling to hold the same smile after his comment.
