  1. She began mixing the ingredients randomly, not caring if it were to explode again, she was to determined for that. She now had lots of things to look forwards to when she was done, and couldn't wait. She began thinking, what if she were to open a shop? She isn't very good with people, so she would have to find some way around that. Maybe by just having order forms? That might work. That way she can just look at the order forms and avoid talking to anyone altogether. She thought about these concepts carefully, it was a great way to earn income. But it would mean she might be repeating the same daily processes over and over again. That's something she really wanted to avoid, because that could easily drive her crazy. She continued mixing away swiftly, her sudden change in behavior would be odd to anyone who knew her, but she just kept going, knowing no one was watching besides the NPC.

  2. After a bit, a cart crashed into the side of a building, she was able to slip away from the two players, assuming they wanted out. She made her way to the vast fields outside of town and began searching for the materials.

    She looked through every blade of grass and turned over every stone in that section of the field. Nothing. Well, that's just perfect. She thought to herself. Still combing the small area. What do materials look like again? She thought she might have passed some and not known about it, seeing as that is something she would probably do. She decided to leave to another area in the field, on the looked slightly more promising then where she was currently. Well, it looked more beautiful due to the amount of flowers sprouting out from the forest of grass, flowers are a material, right? At least, that's what she began thinking.

  3. "You play an instrument?" She asked, well, more like wanted to confirm. Jade wanted to mention that she could play piano decently, but thinking she wasn't good enough to play in front of other people decided not to. "T-That's cool..." God I sound like such a dork! Jade's cheeks turned red. "If I had to chose between knowing how I'd die and knowing when I'd die..." Jade said. "...I'd chose when I'd die. Because then I can say goodbye to everyone I know before I go." Jade made a weak smile, which grew a little wider when he mentioned the park. "Thanks..." Jade looked at the time. It was "10:06 AM". "Well... I have some stuff to do today." Leaving a small sum of Col on the table as she got to her feet. Her face turned red. "H-Hey, I hope this doesn't sound off putting or weird... But, do you want to, be friends?" Jade asked nervously, afraid she might come off desperate.

  4. "There is a park I like visiting, that and a particularity quiet part of the forest. I don't know why, but something about watching the leaves blow in the wind just feels relaxing to me. Its soothing..." Jade let out a sigh. "Its the only real reason I get out of bed anymore." Jade became skeptical of Shiro, he ignored her question. She felt like it would be rude to persist at the question, but that didn't stop her anxiety from kicking in. What if he just wants to know what you do to prove that he can do it better? Or what if he wants to lure you into a trap, he doesn't look like a player killer, but looks can be deceiving. For god sake, you just told a complete stranger where you can roughly be found on a daily bias. Either way, you wouldn't mind dying anymore would you, as a matter a fact, weren't you a step away from doing that all by yourself?  Her thoughts scrambled in her mind all leading to misleading conclusions. She shook her head and pressed her hand against the sides of her head. Jade realized that the sudden action might look abnormal. "Uh... H-Headache, I have a Headache." She rubbed her temples slowly, her eyes closed. "H-Hey, Would you r-rather know when you're going to die or h-how you're going to die?"

  5. Jade went up to the woman. "Hey, I'm starting to think alchemy isn't for me."  The woman frowned. "Oh please, alchemy is for everyone." She looked she was about to present something to a group of businessmen. "You just need to keep trying dear." Jade let out a sigh, maybe if she does it she can leave faster without feeling guilty about it, dispute knowing the woman is an NPC. She felt a desire to get this done, and realized it was because this profession she was earning, it could be just the self-esteem boost she needed to get to know new people. With this new and sudden determination, she went back to the alchemy bench. She was unsure of what she was going to mix, and unsure if it would backfire like one of her previous attempts. She also was concerned that she would run out of materials. So she proceeded with caution.

  6. She grabbed a different vial and mixed it with another she had laying on the table to her left. It actually worked! Well kinda. "Ooh! I did It! What did I make?" She tapped on it. "I made another type of ingredient." She said, sounding truly disappointed. She shook the glowing blue elixir in her hand. Frustrated. "Come on, don't be like that sweety. Give it another try." Jade let out a long sigh before resuming what she was originally doing. Trying to make a potion out of stuff she literally just found on the ground. She stood there deciding what to TRY and create next, which she was afraid would either be a failure or a disaster ending in an explosion. Or death, but the old woman assured her that they "would not kill you if they exploded". So she tried to keep that in mind, but she honestly wouldn't care if her life was ended in a witch's tent, its be a great thing to have on her tombstone.

  7. Jade place her now empty coffee mug on the table. "For fun?" Jade paused thinking to herself. "Um..." This should've been an easy question to answer. It was then that Jade realized, she had been going through the same routine daily. Wake up, Eat, Sleep. Which would happen multiple times a day. Her facial expression went from embarrassed to stern. "I... don't think I've had fun since I got trapped here. It's kind of been a nightmare for me." Jade let out a sigh. "What about you Shiro? What do you do for fun?" She looked up out of old instinct and made direct eye contact with Shiro, memorizing his face, she felt like she would see him again in the future. She opened her menu. "9:56" Its been twenty-two minutes since she got her. "Wait... there is something I like doing but isn't really consider fun, it's calming really..."

    @Huginn

  8. "N-No, it wasn't it just took me by surprise. That's all." She said nervously. Wiping up the coffee on the table. Way to go Jade. She thought to herself. He probably thinks your a klutz now. She threw away the napkins, sat back down, and took a deep breath. She listened to what Shrio said, realizing it was up to her, she had to think carefully about how she would word her reply. There was an eerie silence for a minute, the restaurant was officially empty, besides the NPC's at the counter. "I-I, uh..." Jade took a deep breath. "Please stay, your the only real person I've talked to in some time, and its been nice so far Shiro. So please don't leave just yet." Jade laughed nervously, her face turning red, again. "I hope that didn't sound weird." She said, holding her hands to the center of her chest.

    [OOC: Can someone please tell me if I'm doing this right, because I'm going into foreign territory here.]

    Jade returns to the old wit- woman and heads into the tent. The tent was set up over shelves of potions and alchemy equipment. Jade was guide by the old woman over to a table with equipment set up. "Ok... here goes nothing." He ground up all the materials, added a bit of strange liquid, and bam, five vials of odd contents. She grabbed two and mixed the two together, which resulted in the elixir exploding in her face. The tent was full of smoke and Jade started coughing violently. The old woman pulled on a chain, which opened a sky window in the ceiling, except there was no glass. The smoke cleared out surprisingly quick. "Its ok sweety, try again." Jade wheezed. "That's easy for you to say, you didn't just blow yourself up." Jade turned back to the table, taking a deep breath. Maybe it was like cooking? If the ingredients look good together, then they belong together? "Hmm... Maybe if I..."

  10. She looked for another solution to the problem, one that didn't involve climbing or calling a exterminator. She looked around, and decided to try and throw some rocks at it to knock it down. She tossed a small one, which hit, but didn't seem to affect the fruit in the slightest. She got another rock, and threw it with all the might her arms possessed, and missed... But, the last one hit the fruit in the dead center knocking it down and... getting stuck in another set of branches. She continued to toss rocks at the fruit, until, over five minutes later it fell from the tree. She quickly stuffed it into her inventory, then counted how many she had. "1, 2, 3, 4... I needed five right?" She asked herself. "Hmm... Yeah it was five." She placed her satchel over her back and began walking towards the old woman's tent, who by this point in time, Jade was pretty sure she was a witch.

  11. She began to look around, which was far easier to do when your vision is covered in a thick mist by the way. She noticed a cyan fruit hanging from a tall tree. She wanted it. She placed her foot between a branch and the base of the tree, acting as a foothold until she could find something more sturdy to support her. She grabbed the branch above her head and hoisted herself up, placing her hand in a new position to the right of her in a hole in the tree. That's when she felt it, a tingling sensation on her right hand. Looking over, she screamed, falling back off of the tree. "Get it off, get it off!" She shrieked running around in circles like she was being chased by a swarm of bees. She stopped and looked at her hand, it was gone, whatever that disgusting bug was, it was gone. She let out a sigh of relief, though unsettled and cautious, she would try a second time to get the material.

  12. Well, at least someone is having fun. Jade thought to herself, trying to think of ways to stop the redness from showing. She noticed that he was uncomfortable too, his face was just as, if not more, red then hers. She took a sip of her coffee as he spoke again. Her reaction, wasn't exactly, casual. She was drinking her coffee and quick a bit went into her lungs, causing her to cough violently dropping and spilling her coffee all over the table, which caused her face to become an even deeper shade of red. "I-I, I'm so sorry! I-I'll be right back!" She quickly got up and ran to the counter, grabbing a large quantity of napkins, and immediately coming back to the table trying to clean up her mess. At this point she was hiding her face from Huginn out of sheer embarrassment forcing herself not to make eye contact with anyone.

    @Huginn

  13. "M-Me neither, or too... Y-You know. You c-can tell I'm not experience with it either. I-I'm not a people person either." Jade said, wishing she slept in just a few hours longer. She quickly began to realize the conversation was going no where, neither side knew what to do. "Think... Think..." She mumbled to herself, her words barely audible as she tried to think of a way to get the conversation from becoming awkward.

    "T-That's why you were smiling?" Jade let out a sigh of relief, her posture became a lot more composed. "Why didn't you say so..." Jade  said calmly. "I thought you were smiling because, I was..." Jade stopped. "...you thought I was weird, and abnormal, and so on. I-I don't like being laughed at." Jade clasped her hands together on the table, her gaze landing on them afraid of making eye contact with another patron despite their being far less of a chance of doing so in an almost empty cafe.

    "Your sister sounds..." Jade pause to think. "...confident in her actions." Jade went on to explain her choice of words. "It's not easy to be social, at least for me and you. So she has to be confident in what she says and does..." Jade continued to talk in a determined tone for around thirty seconds, up until the point where her face turned red. "I-I'm sorry. I'm j-just wasting your time, I've been talking to much..." Jade laughed nervously, then holding her mug up to her face again.

    @Huginn

  14. "S-Sorry? Please, don't be." Jade said in a serious manner. "Your sister must be very important to you..." Her voice trailed off, to remember her sister and what she would do to see her again, to protect her again. "Shiro, if you don't mind me asking Whats she like?" Jade blurted out without a thought, still preoccupied in her own mind.

    "T-This situation is funny?" She looked perplex. "I'm s-sorry, but I don't quite get it." She reached for her meal. She sipped her coffee from the mug. It was sweet and warm, it gave her nostalgia to the real world, when her mother used to make her cocoa during the winter. A tear came to her eye in light of this memory, which she quickly tried to hide by quickly scarfing down the muffin. She looked around, the dinner was clearing out, looks like most of the patrons had finished their meals and were going about their activities, making it unusually quiet compared to just five minutes ago.

    @Huginn

  15. Jade smiled. “Alright…” Jade got up, hunched over, her hand holding her stomach. “I think I got motion sickness, but I'm pretty sure I'm fine now.” Jade lied, her words and her posture said very different things. “Let's keep going, I didn't invite you here to worry about me...” She faked a smile, trying to make sure Kimihito was fooled so he didn't waste time worrying about her. The last thing she needed was someone to worry, she didn't want sympathy and protection. Jade stumbled around looking for a material. “Hey, Kimihito, may I ask a personal question? What did you do in the beginning, when we were trapped?” Jade clasped her hands together right under her nose, hiding her mouth, then looked away shyly. Which she commonly does when she thinks she said or did something wrong. “I-I, I know it's rude to talk about that, but I really am curious to hear.” She looks to her left. "Hey, is that..." She reached for something growing out a of hole in a trees bark. It was a mushroom, and as luck would have it, it counted as a material.

  16. "I'm... Fine..." Jade said, groaning as she sat up. "I'm just, a bit dizzy. That's all." Jade look over to Kimihito, who looked worried from what Jade could tell. Jade on the other hand, looked like she was going to gag. "I'm going to stay here for a bit." Jade wasn't ready for the fall, she must have gotten motion sickness. Jade moved backwards untill her back was able to rest on something, in this case it was the stump of a tree. Jade's breathing slowed. She began to think about what he said, it had a nostalgic feeling to it: "I just don't want you to be sad". In the real world,  she was forced to see a therapist for her depression, that therapist said this a lot, but what he said made her a bit happier. Jade took a few deep breaths before saying: "Thank you." Jade forced a smile.

    @Kimihito

  17. "Hey, I've been meaning to ask you something quite dire." Jade looked hesitant. "What do friend's, do exactly? I never had any friends through my life, it has just been me, and my little sister." Jade sighed, she repeated the question. "What do friend's do in the presence of other friends?"

    "Yay! We got two!" Jade looked around, nothing but woods and leaves. No materials. Unless... Jade got on top of a large rock and reached for something in the branches of a tall tree. "Almost... There..." Jades voice sounded strained, she  got on her toes to reach. "So... Close- Woaahhhhhhhh!" Jade said, falling forwards into Kimihito. She hit the ground hard, probably not as hard as her friend. "Ow, ow, ow, ow..." Jade didn't want to move, she felt dizzy and she felt sick.

    @Kimihito

  18. The fog began to lift, Jade could now make out her surroundings a little better. She was in a bowl made of stone, the the amount of materials she found were outstanding considering she didn't know what she was doing. She looked up and noticed another flower growing out of a small crack between the rock. It was far too high to grab. She came up with the idea of throwing her daggers at it. She got directly below it, and threw the dagger up. Miss. The dagger was pulled back down to the ground. She tried again, and again, and again, until finally, she got the dagger lodged in the crack. She got another and tossed it, again, and again, and again, until the dagger cell down WITH the flower, she collected the flower and set off for one last material. "This is new, the odds are turning in my favor." She told herself.

Jade said beginning to catch on. Wait, he doesn't mean- he wouldn't- could he? Jade went silent, trying to catch glimpses of what Kimhito was doing, trying to find evidence to support her guess. Though her thought was interrupted by Kimihiyo suggestion. "Ok, the forest then, I think I can see the part where it meets the fields." Jade responded. Trees slowly began appearing in numbers as they went down the trail, untill there was trees everywhere. "This just seems more difficult. Now I have to search everywhere." Jade noted to herself, she also took notice of the fruit hanging from one of the trees. "I found one! I found one!" She grabbed it and held it out before it disappeared into her inventory. "Maybe luck might be on my side this time?"

She stayed silent for a while, thinking. It doesn't hurt, my heartache, it stopped hurting. I have to take advantage of this while I can. Just because I can feel it, doesn't mean it's not there.

    "Indeed, it'll be way better and less boring working together." Jade and Kimihito made their way down the road. Birds chirps as they does overhead, the grass of the feilds on either side of the road moved like waves in the wind. "Um, hey, Kimihito. I-I was going to offer something, for your gratitude for helping me find materials. So, what if I supplied you?" Jade asked, she looked away from him. "Nooo... That sounded weird, I can't do anything right. What I meant was, I could give you a few options after I make them, or try to make them. If you don't like that, I'm sure I can come up with something else..." Jades voice trailed off into silence as she was lost in thought. "...Is that, a-" She paused mid sentence, running off the road for a few seconds, immediately returning. "I thought I spotted a material... It was just a oddly shaped rock..." 21. "You have a point there." Jade responded, understanding in her tone. "I'm special because no one would want to be me." Jade mumbled to herself. Taken aback by his compliment, Jade took a step backward, her face turned bright red. "I-I, er, this was... I was..." Jade looked down at the ground for a moment, regaining her composure. "I-I only have a f-few outfits in my wardrobe, this, just h-happens to be one of them." Her voice sound nervous. She looked up, her cheaks red. "I-I value your i-input." Jade continued.

    "Thank you." Jade took a small bite of the bread. Savoring it as long as possible. "Mmmm..." While walking to the gate, Jade ate the entire piece that was given to her. "Hmm? Oh, the plan? I was going to go and collect materials in the feilds, but, because of last time, I figured it was easier with a friend." Jade explained. "I'm glad your here, I wasn't ready to go find things that may or may not be there."

    @Kimihito

  22. "You, you were g-gonna visit me?" Jade replied, her expression surprised. "Why? I'm not special." Jade continued, curling her long brown hair. Jade was currently wearing her formal apparel,  which was a black t-shirt that was to small for her exposing part of her stomch, a gray jacket, a silver neclace, and a pair of dark blue pants.

    "Oh, but I'm not hungry..." Jade's stomach growled in response. "Ehehe..." She let out some nervous laughter. "Maybe, maybe just a piece? Just one peice." Jade said, her eyes fixiated on the bag while holding her stomach.

    "Thanks, your a good friend. Though, I'm a bad reference, seeing as I haven't had many before." Jade looked a bit sad for a moment, but her expression brightened as she continued. "Either way, I'm glad, glad that you'll help me." Jade stood up, then turned to face Kimihito. "Let's not waste anymore time, let's go." Jade walked with Kimihiyo to the city's main gate.

  23. "You, you mean, you also d-don't know how to talk t-to other people?"Jade asked, her voice still shaking. Jade took note of his outfit, all black, except for his necklace. On the necklace is a white bird, which Jade guessed was a Dove. Her voice returned to it's normal form, only to mutter one word: "Interesting..."

    Shiro told her to keep talking or it will get too quiet. Then he smiled, which made her uncomfortable. "H-Hey, that's not- you- um... W-why are you smiling Shiro, I-I doubt I-I said anything r-remotely funny." Jade nervously crossed her arms.

    Jade watched as Shiro rest his head on the table. "Are you alright? You look like something is bothering you." Jade said, a curious flicker in her eyes. She tilted her head to the side unknowingly. The waiters came by with their drink's and her muffin. "I hope you two enjoy your  meals." Just like that, the waiter left.

  24. Jade looked around anxiously, a worried expression on her face. Why didn't he respond to the message? What was taking him so long? Maybe, maybe he died, and I just didn't care enough to notice?! A familiar voice followed by a familiar face reassured her that it was quite the opposite. Jade smiled, she was glad to see him. "Hi again Kimihito." She said enthusiastically. "Indeed, it has been awhile since we've seen eachother." Jade clasped her hands together, placing her hands on her lap. "Oh, I've been, ok. What about you?" Her smile weakened a bit. "Hey, if you don't mind me asking, what's in the bag?" Jade asked curiously. "R-Really? I was ready to offer payment... Thank you." Jade's eyes lit up for a moment. "So let me to explain why I need your help..." Jade began sounding nervous. "...I have been practicing alchemy recently, and I ran out of materials, so, I was hoping that you could help me grab some more..." Jade sounded a little unsure of what to say, she paused for several seconds. "But you'll help, right?"

    @Kimihito

  25. Jade flinched as the player, who introduced himself as Shiro, shook her hand. “G-Ghost…” Jade put her other arm on the table and crossed them. Waiting, her eyes fixed on the center on the table. Shiro waves down a waiter for them. “A muffin and coffee please, with cream.” Jade immediately went silent, she wasn't sure what to say after the introduction. “Um, it's a l-lovely evening, i-isn’t it?” Jade’s expression changed from worried to embarrassed, her face turning red. “Morning! I-I mean morning.” Jade put her head on the table, facing down, on her arms. The posture was one that looked like she was disappointed, most likely in herself. “Idiot, idiot, idiot…” She mumbled under her breath. “...why does this have to be so hard?” Jade sat back up. Jade drew a circle on the table with her finger. “S-Sorry, I am m-making this awkward, aren't I? I-I should just stop talking.” Jade went silent, her eyes fixed on the center of the table, her hands clasped together.
