  1. The others at the table seemed very quiet, so Osgii decided to get up with her sister and head towards the NPC that seemed to be running the place. Though their chances were fairly slim at actually winning anything, there was still they chance that they received it. Not that it would be much for them to barter with, but perhaps they could set it up as a powerful trading tool to get some initial capital. Once registered for the raffle, The two waited around for a little bit to hear the announced winners. At the very least, they should note who to look out for with these tools at their disposal. Ennakai would most certainly wish to know the winners as well. And such harmless information could be given as a token of good will. Not like she wouldn't be able to get the information otherwise, so may as well mark themselves as sources.

    @Benny

    -Kian enters the raffle-

  2. Things settled quite quickly into business with both @Ennakai and @Dagger. "Kian, glad to meet the person who made this lovely thing for me." It was a little bad never to have met the artisan before, but that wasn't going to be the end of the world. Hopefully they would tip their hand just enough so that the three of them could talk a bit more casually than a business meeting normally would. As dagger began to speak about proceedings, Osgii looked to see that there was quite the scuffle going on. It seemed to settle down about as quickly as it arose though, so that wouldn't be too much of a problem. "My sister and I have yet to have the chance to set up shop as we're still looking for the ideal location. We were thinking on the same floor as you dagger, just to shorten the distance in transferring goods." Though they really hadn't set up shop yet because there was many more details that there were needed to be sorted out, she didn't want to let on that they were this far behind the game still. As she finished up her speaking, she noticed her twin coming over from flirting with the guy. It seemed that she hadn't taken very long in letting go of him, or perhaps she had gotten herself told off for once. It would've been an interesting change in pace.

  3. Osgii watched as her sister found a guy to flirt with. She didn't see much of a reason to stop her. Though there was some business that she wanted to conduct, that didn't mean she would stop her sister from having the first fun she had in a couple years. Walking away form the two, she shared a knowing glance with her sister. She would finish with him hen she wanted to, and would hopefully let the poor guy down easy. It had happened all too many times. Beelii would tease a guy, than drop them like a sack of potatoes. Who knows, maybe she would go a little bit further this time. She certainly been able to make a guy chase after her while in this game so far.

    Making her way over to @Dagger, she noticed he was already talking with the artisan that they had both purchased from earlier this year. "It seems we have made a new friend?" She kept a smile on her face. Though it had genuine qualities to it, it was wider than she would've normally had. It was time for some possible negotiations, and she didn't want to end up on the short stick draw.

    @Ennakai

  4. Osgii and her sister had made their way back up to the fourth foloor in interest of possibly meeting up with their contact once more. They had received their professions and were getting ready to deal with them. Once they had arrived at the settlement though, they found that everything was decorated in holiday cheer. Though the two of them had never really liked the holidays, it was still nice to see that there were celebrations. The only problem was that everything that seemed to be there was far too out of their budgets. Hopefully these items would return later. And perhaps they could begin to hoard them so that they could sell them at a higher price. All that would require an investment though. One that she wasn't to keen on making. Instead, she wandered around the place  with her twin in hopes that there was a couple freebies they might be able to shell out later.

  5. Kian nodded towards her sister. It was reasonable to think that they weren't quite able to take on a monster at this level. At least not one that would actually give them some rewards. They should remain safe for the time being. Stay safe and slowly accumulate power. Once you have something to risk, then you can take the gamble. Right now they were working from nothing, trying to create something of value. At least in this world they could sell themselves once they had invested some time into their own strength. If that weren't the case, they would probably never be able to find themselves rising becak towards the top. A silent look wasexchanged between the two, and they both knew that they would need to start their climb up if they wante dto have something of worth when the were released. Either that or some way to never see their father again.

  6. Osgii continued to not find anything for her to grab for the quest at hand. Perhaps it was being more picky, or perhaps they were just getting unlucky. "You should go take out a few of the mobs around here, we should be able to get more experience that way. I'll come in if you need assistance, but you should be fine on your own." Not waiting for a response, as one wasn't necessary, she then continued to search for more materials. Hopefully they would begin to surface themselves shortly. Once she had all the materials, there would undoubtedly be some time required to actually finish out the quest and receive her profession. Hopefully her sister would be careful, but also be able to walk away with a few more materials or possibly even gear to bring to Dagger to identify. She was still unsure what all dropped off of the mobs on this floor.

  7. As the two kept searching around for materials, Osgii found herself stumbling across several possibilities. There didn't seem to be many that would be accepted by the quest, but perhaps they would make for a good quality of item if her sister picked them up instead. It was impossible to tell from a single glance. Perhaps ranking up some form of gathering skill would allow them to more easily spot these forms of materials. Knowing dagger and his plan, he had already begun to do so. There was little else that he seemed to be working towards. He was mostly focused on creating an empire with his merchant shop, and She intended to join at the top of that empire. Then they may be able to find a way out of their situation. The largest issue is the unscrupulous nature of the people they would be dealing with. It meant transferring debts would be difficult to say the least.

  8. The two moved outside of the gate, and Osgii quickly found herself the first material that she would need to complete the quest. There was only 4 more that would be needed, and hopefully they could move along quickly. She had no clue how fast the blacksmith would be able to work on their daggers. It was a smaller weapon, so likely not as long as something like a broadsword, but still a form of metalworking. She had never enjoyed the idea of a forge, though things like that were necessary in this world. So long as they needed weapons to be made, there would be someone to make them. Silently thanking she wasn't the daughter of a smith, Osgii continued to look around for more materials to gather. Hopefully Beelii would also find something of note while searching for materials for the both of them, perhaps gear for them to have taken to Dagger.

  9. Thankfully the order didn't take too long. Osgii had been out searching for various places she and her sister could be moving before they were getting their gear. In fact, she had just returned from finishing out a quest or two and then picked up the daggers themselves. "Thank you," she said quietly. It was kind of players to be so generous with their offers. Then again, such camaraderie only came about because of the tragedy befallen all of them. If they hadn't been trapped in this game, they would probably be shrewd businessmen like all the others she had gotten to know.

  10. Osgii had worked her way towards the garden with her sister. It wasn't much, just a bunch of pretty flowers and well done landscaping. What was important was the abundance of materials in here. If they decided to make their gathering by taking out monsters, there was also the chance that they could get gear for Dagger to identify. Glancing towards her sister, they slowly made their way into the garden. There was only one other person around at the moment.. It was a girl who seemed to be lost in thought at her enjoyment of the placce itself. This was of course, nothing but a game. It didn't mean there weren't things to enjoy, but Osgii could not afford to loes sight of what lay ahead of her. She knew Beelii would be feeling similarly, though probably disappointed there was still not many people for her to truly try and flirt with.

  11. Osgii had found Beelii once more as the two reconvened from finding their respective shopkeeps. While the two were waiting on them to finish their craftinng, they figured it would be time to find themselves a profession for each. They had initially entertained the idea that they could have the same profession, and therefore twice the production. But with their potential deal with dagger, it would be much more conducive to have more variety in what they made. Having already found the woman who gave the alchemy profession, Osgii told her sister that she would be going first. There was no sense in splitting up for the moment. The other would be able to gather materials for the both of them. They would also be able to communicate silently with each other as the two of them worked. Osgii had already talked with the woman in charge of giving professions and had the quest started when she met Beelii at the teleport gate. The two wasted no time in making their way to the fields to gather materials.

  12. While waiting  for the blacksmith, Kian had been looking at a few of the other wares available. There wasn't much in the shop ready to sell, though some of the requested pieces being held were quite nice. She could definitely tell that the smith here had quite a bit of experience with making weapons. She was asked why she was ordering two of the same weapon, and she answered truthfully. There was little point hiding the fact that she was working closely with her sister, for the most part they would never be seen without the other. "One for me and one for my sister. We're both pursuing a similar style, so we figured it would be easiest to give two orders of the same weapon."

    @Macradon

  13. Osgii walked into the shop alone, having split up with her sister to get themselves different types of gear. It seemed like a rather active place, and hopefully the blacksmith here would be able to fulfill their order quickly. As soon as they would make themselves appear, Osgii gave them the order and returned to the foyer area to wait for its completion. She didn't offer much talk, but she wasn't entirely cold, as they were making gear that she and her sister needed. No point souring a possible relationship, especially when the social class system was turned on its head.

  14. With the elf finally dead, it was time to get back to business. There wasn't much else for the three of them to talk about, not until there was actually items for them to make or sell. Dagger said as much as they began to make their way back towards the town on this floor. "Precisely, we will reconvene at your shop once we all have our professions selected." There was little use for them to make grand plans while unable to execute on them. That wasn't to say they would fully in power to do so once they had their professions. There would undoubtedly need a large amount of effort put into refining their crafts. And when this was all over, there would be nothing that transferred to the real world. Perhaps if they had something to show while being in this world their father wouldn't immediately try to disown them. Though that would mean finding a way to transfer the debts owed to the real world.

  15. The Elf was left in the open, but had nowhere for him to run. Dagger hadn't swooped in to finish the Elf off, so that meant it was up to the two of them to do it. The elf was turned towards her sister at the moment, which would give her the perfect moment to strike. The elf had been able to see those attacks coming before already though. She gave a nod to Beelii, and that's all the two needed. A dash of red came up to the elf, planting a heeled boot on top of his foot. Though he tried to flinch away from the strike, the heel had stabbed all the way through to the ground. A red-gloved hand than shot to his chest and Beelii stabbed him to kip him, up straight. Osgii was already close behind, and her white dress became a blur in the forest, only stopping when she had stabbed her dagger through his head. Completely stuck in place by blades and boots, the Elf shattered with no momentum whatsoever.

  16. The elf had stabbed her, and Osgii took it poorly. She was unfamiliar with the sensation of something penetrating her skin, not since she had gotten her ears pierced as a little girl. As the elf withdrew his dagger, she quickly went to grapple him. Her arms wrapped around his throat and she pulled him in close. This was certainly a move her sister would've done more readily, but she wasn't going to let that stop her. As soon as the elf was pulled into the embrace, she whispered in his ear. "This is what you get for trying to stab me. You're going to be right here and take the damage my sister will give to you. You'll be dead soon, so it shouldn't be hard to remember this. But when you mess with one sister -" She let her sister finish what she was going to say. This elf was going to regret trying to attack either of them.

  17. Embarrassed about her stumble, Osgii did her best to recover gracefully. The dark elf had gone for her sister, and struck in a poor spot to say the least. Lashing out with her own dagger, a mark of red appeared on the elf's body. Its health had to be dropping at a decent pace now, but she was unsure just how many more attacks it was going to take. The training her and her sister had received was barely enough to do anything, and it didn't seem like Dagger was faring much better. Perhaps this was going to be a test of if they could work together or not. It was certainly going to show if they could kill enough mobs to get the resources they needed.

    That's the benefit of a game, we can achieve total vertical integration much more easily. The hardest part is that the limitations and personalities make horizontal integration almost impossible. Perhaps if we had a majority control though, we could force others to sell for us.

  18. Osgii let the two talk things out, and eventually watched as a Dark Elf was found lurking in the brush. She stood back with her sister as Dagger launched forward and missed with his axe. Though she knew she probably couldn't do much better, they would be able to hopefully get a hit. Going in with her dagger, she let the glow of the blade focus her vision. She ended up tripping on her heels a little though and had to retreat to stay out of reach of the elf's blade. Disappointed at her perfoamnce, she let her sister go forward to try and attack the creature. It seemed that their deal was going to be going on hold for the tiem being. Perhaps when they returned to the town they could sit down and arrange all the details they needed to. Her sister would be better at handling that, being the talker of the two.

  19. As the three walked and discussed future plans, Osgii was working out possible futures. There was few that resulted in them on top, but it seemed if there was something undiscovered, there could easily be a way to find wealth in this game. That wealth was, of course, meaningless. What would be much more applicable was if they could accrue favors with players and cash them in in the real world. There was so little that would transfer over, and not much in the way of being able to track them down. As Dagger spoke more about possibilities, she listened intently. Osgii knew that her sister would be able to take the lead from here, having her way with words, so she stayed quiet for the time being. If some other complex matter arise, she would speak once more. All that was left was determining which would be more effective. providing more products of a similar kind, or creating the one-stop-shop by making as many different items as possible.

  20. Osgii listened intently to the man as he gave many little details about the situation they could be putting themselves in. Of course, after two years many niches would have already been filled. That's the issue for having been so inactive until now. However, there was still a chance that there was an undiscovered niche. Perhaps something that could be sold through a merchant to make it more enticing. In a silent brainstorm, Osgii was able to come up with a few possible solutions. And though she wold normally let her sister do the talking, something this complex couldn't be gleaned from their intuition alone. "It is possible we do not even need to unseat this Shield. Though you would both be merchants, it is possible that by getting items from us in bulk, you would be able to sell those items for a much lower cost than normal. And of course, if Shield doesn't have any other partners to give him interesting items to sell, he will only be able to produce what a merchant can. With some diversification we should easily be able to introduce ourselves into an undiscovered niche."

  21. The man's proposition intrigued Osgii, and she knew her sister would be deffering mostly to her. They silently communicated to each other, arguing over the finer points. Of course, this deal didn't need many specifics for the moment. There was just the hope that they could get some mutual business together. There was little for them to lose so long as Dagger didn't grow reckless. He seemed to be more of a conservative man, so that meant the two of them could safely level themselves up without posing a risk to their deal or their lives. The two of them were in need of some acquaintances. At the very least, they needed to have someone who could deal with their father's wrath when the game did eventually end. Until that point, they would want to stall out and that meant gaining enough power to slow others down. Once a decision was reached between the two of them, taking what felt like forever but was only a moment, Osgii decided to let her sister deliver the news.

  22. As the two finished mildly showing off, It seemed they were finally able to make their way out of the shop. It had been nice to be in there for a short amount of time, but it was beginning to get to Osgii. The daggers were a nice touch from her sister, and the synchronization was something the came naturally to her. As Dagger asked about their skills and plans, Osgii began to speak for her sister. Though Beelii would undoubtedly be taking at least part of the question herself, Osgii felt that she should be answering at least some. "We know our way around this game's system, though haven't had a chance to put our theory into practice. Nothing interesting has truly come along." Trying to at least give some sort of mimicking to her sister's tone, Osgii's bluntness showed through her thinly veiled attempt at making pleasantries. There was little that she knew how to be good at, but she was the one to inherit the managing tendencies of their father.

  23. Osgii listened in to the conversation, having turned back towards the wares as a faux distraction from staring at the man himself. Once the man had mentioned that he was a merchant, she could feel the anxiety her sister felt. Being the daughters of a wealthy merchant, they knew all too well how that life could corrupt someone. Perhaps it was just their father, but they certainly had good reason for their worry. That wasn't to say that finding another person with this mindset wouldn't be the perfect way to make themselves free of the game itself. Here at least, they were able to communicate clearly thanks to the automatic translator. Once in the real world, their Japanese was going to sound extremely broken from 2 years of not using it. As the two began to follow the man out, he asked for their names. Osgii led the speaking this time. "I am Kian -" her sister introduced herself, and the two broke out into a rapid switching that could not have been rehearsed. "The white of purity -" "- intertwine together -" As her sister finished, Osgii prepared to head out.

  24. Osgii watched as her sister sidled up towards the male player and began to talk him up. He did seem to at least be a bit brighter than some of the players the two of them had met, though his kinder tone meant Beelii would probably either try to corrupt this man's innocence or give up out of boredom like all the other people she had tried to seduce before. Her sister gave a response to the shopkeep and then had turned back towards the man. Though she had turned to inspect some of the other wares one last time before the three would inevitably be leaving this shop, Osgii could sense what her sister was planning on saying. It was strange, but when these feelings occurred, she knew her sister would understand. Beelii had begun to speak, and Osgii finished the phrasing. "- In fact, you might say we sound like two speakers in the same room. -" Her sister finished their speaking, and Osgii turned to face the player in anticipation of what his response would be. Most were surprised at their coordination of speaking, but few would ever show their reactions. Based on this persons mannerisms, Osgii expected the same thing to happen.

  25. Having walked into the shop with her usual air of superiority, Osgii was ready to look for something that her and her sister could actually use. They had little intention of actually fighting much, but it would be better to be safe than end up sorry for the troubles they caused themselves. Perhaps a dagger would be nice, something easy to hide while still able to do some damage to the more unsavory people. She knew her sister would want something a bit more flashy, but there just didn't seem to be many fashionable options for now. Perhaps another shop would have the goods they need. Would probably have to be a player run shop though, as the NPCs rarely gave you anything that wasn't just a step above the normal quality of gear. Strangely enough, there seemed to be another player in the shop chatting it up with the person at the counter. She decided to leave it to her sister to talk the man up, she was always the one meant to talk sweetly to others regardless of their age.
