Summoner

So people still cared about my word even if they did not come from a book It felt just as Haru told me, just be yourself and try to help people like you always did online with Text, even not speaking you would be better of at least trying. Those were good words, and maybe warming up was also a better idea for me to do as well. It seemed that on player had fallen asleep agains a tree but was awoken by a falling apple, I could not hold myself in by this out of nowhere surprise and turned around with a laugh, Small laughter came from under my hood a bit and I turned around still holding my Rapier in one hand, "S...sorry for laughing, just... Never seen Animal NPC get so... Mad for... something like that," I said to him from under my hood. hearing him say we never in real danger I kind of nodded in agreement, While we can be far saved from this we are in a group making us less of a target for Orange players and the lower level monster seemed to stay away from both me and Oscar because of our level. "He... is right... But um... si... no um... Oscar, you can get some shuteye If you want... It's not... really needed to keep awake while... we are out here... I'll wake you if you really want to sleep," I said to him with a friendly and awkward smile on my face.

I listen to what the two talked about and nodded, "MP... is mana Points or um... Magic points" I said low, "Here... um, Energy or... EN is used for things... potions are... yeah kind of Magical... but this game is not fully... none Magic... looking closely to abilities, they are ... like magic... they are ... more based on boosting magic... like Enchanting Magic... upping your human abilities like focus and um... constitution," I paused a bit looking down at the ground before I cleared my throat, I have to teach them I need to, "EN or energy... Is very important to keep an eye on, Ever Sword Art uses them, they guide you into the movement if you use them... and Um... a... no... um... they like magic in some way, but the only thing I count as... magic is First Aid... it allows the user to heal another player." I said to the two noobs, It was really something I had to force out but I needed to keep them informed to make sure they don't end up like some other people going for the wrong skills or thinking this is more with Magic.

Turning around I looked as the two lower-level players turn around as I was done noting down my Energy regen a bit, "Oh... Um... Y... Yeah, um..." getting a bit unaware by them I took out a small book, this was an info book on a lot of beginner things. opening the book I started reading in a monotone, "Energy, the blue bar below your Hit Points... um... almost all action in combat take Energy, Sword Art being the main sort. Over time Energy slowly regens while in combat, once out of combat the energy will automatically go back to full," Reading it now as I did many times before to Haru was simple, just look down at the book and ignore everyone around you. But this time was different, I was teaching them about Energy or at least the girl. I have done this before on a forum but or voice chat but never really face to face. Closing the book again I was holding it in both hands and looked up, "Um... So yeah... Um... every Sword A...Art is different, Um... they... Um, weaker once less Energy... Strong once more Energy... Sword art per... Um, weapon changes too," I said nervously as I explain this while without knowing it I kind of started to hug the book and trying to hide my face in the hood from the robe.

I heard the girl jump from happiness and because of that I gave a little shock, Never in my life have I seen someone turn so happy within seconds. Although I never see many people who are happy at all. Once they all seemed to get outside and ready to move I followed behind them making sure to be the last to leave the safe zone. It seemed that both players were a bit nervous for sure and seemed to not want to get out but once Oscar and I both were outside as well they wanted to go. "It's safe... no worry," I said to Astralin with a weak smile like I normally did when trying to cheer people up. I was not good at this but I had to do something Right, I loved helping people and on the forms, I was staff on for helping new players I always enjoyed it, and Now I can enjoy this I guess.

For a bit, it seemed that both players got their first Item, true this quest was not hard and no monsters should spawn nearby at all so that was all clear. Looking around I looked at Oscar as he switched gear, it was a bit weird I tell you to get but He did so. I then turned my back to the group a bit and took out my Rapier from under my robe. Before anyone knew it I started using a sword art into the air. The thin metal weapon started glowing Blue and I did two small stricks into nothing. Once I was done with that sword art I opened the Menu and looked at how long it took to cool down the Sword art. It seemed that while doing this the Sword art was almost recovered right away. "Note... Um... Recovery of Sword Art is fast for a Rapier," I said low before I turned my rapier a bit left and right to look at it from different angles. The white like metal with blue and gold markings on it showed quite a bit of power as I was holding it.

I had nothing to say as Astralin was busy talking to the quest giver and seemed to be joyful the moment hearing about crafting Potions and that you had to make them in this quest as well. Waiting a bit I took out my rapier and walked outside waiting for the two to get the quest started. Looking at my rapier and how it was shining it smiled a bit having experience with this weapon helpt quite a bit now and to make sure I kept helping her I was going to keep close to her or at least make sure in the second quest that she was not heavily damaged. Looking at Oscar as he walked off saying he will make sure the way is clear got a bit annoying, the quiet guy was even better to deal with. "S... sir I ... Um I mean Oscar, Don't Leeroy Jenkins this... And we can handle um... It so... um please don't go ahead," I tried to say to him as he seemed to already be gone and somewhere at the gate, Well he ran fast it takes at least a lot before getting to the gate and both players getting this quest signed up. Waiting in the open door I looked at the two players as they got the quest accepted and were ready to get going on an easy go tempo I hope.

What to do, I cant deal with this, this was all too much for me... so many people at once I just knew how to lead Haru but so many people at once is a bit too much for me. And this new guy seemed all to high for himself even if I was nowhere near a starter. I have done all of the beginning quest and a few more before coming here. hearing the conversation going on a bit as Astralin looked at me a bit I think out of pure habit started to struggle with my hands and did some low sign language staying quiet, I was never the popular girl in real life, but here it was a combination of the two. "Su... Summor... No um... My name is Summoner, Hi," I said really awkward to the new players who joined up with us, but it seemed this guy with blonde hair had plans, on one side I did not like it while on the other hand, it would help but it would also be a waste as only two out of four people would have to do this quest.

For a moment I stayed quieted but then walked up to this Oscar guy and tugged his sleeve a bit,  Looking up to him made me feel very shy and I hid my face under my hood again, "It be a waste of time, just two of us here need to do this quest and it is made much easier than other quests so it be done quickly for sure," I said looking down to the ground still holding my hood over my face with one hand. To be sure if this Oscar wanted to help it was better of giving them an item for borrow or a snack that would give better searcing skills. Still looking at the ground I got the invite and accepted it fast not wasting any time. "Os... Um... S... Sir Oscar, I um... I would advise, to keep the feast, it will be more helpful with a bigger group and where they all can use it," I said to Oscar hoping he would heat my advice as Feast were quite useful items for a bigger group.

As soon as the girl thanked me for telling her about quest without fighting were a thing she thanked me for it, it was normal for a game to have those I thought but it seemed she did not know about it. Then it came back to me what I forgot, it was to greet her normally and well tell her my name, but she was already a step ahead of me and said her name was Astralin, quite a nice name for sure. "Um... Summoner, I mean um...  my name is Summoner," I said to her still really not feeling all too well with the leading conversation stuff that was more Haru's thing and not mine. As I told her my name I started falling quiet and started to do a bit of sign language with my hands slowly making signs like, we can go, and  I'm ready when you are. But it seems that Astralin got her eyes on someone else who walked passed mumbling to himself. I just did a small, yet very shy wave to the player.

For a second I thought things could not get worse from this point out but it did. Another player who seemed to have heard just the half of the conversation spoke up saying he could come with is they were going to do something dangerous. But this quest was not dangerous, and with a lot of loot places cleared out now this quest would not even have trouble running into boars at all so why need you the extra muscle? He then asked us something and I just shacked my head no doing a bit of sign language to the newest player with his goblin, being something along the lines, Done them already before pulling my hood more over my head hiding my face now completely from anyone while I became red from shame and being shy.

I was quite worried about how the woman was going to be but once she started speaking she sounded quite nice and to put more this made her cute look, even more, lovelier and made the picture in my mind better. At least she needed help and that was clear, having no weapons and just healing was not the great start, to begin with, but planning ahead Like I always did that would mean like most healers would level up is by healing others. "W... Um... I can help," I said to her moving away a bit of my robe to show her a rapier on my hip. Even if the white and gold robe hid most of my face I kind of smiled to know that I could help people again. "Doing ... this one, means... you do not really um... no um... you don't really have to fight," I said to her making it clear. I felt like I was forgetting something but at the moment I was not clear what I was missing, but it was clear I now ended up helping this woman at the moment and it feels good again to help people again. As she spoke I paid attention as it seems she was used to having some magic in games, and true that would be cool for sure but in this game, there was no magic at all.

It has been aged after the events but I have to push on, no matter what happened she would not agree with me sitting still and doing nothing. She would probably want to push me into a direction at any will of hers. Sure Pettlelin or Haru is gone now and I'll never see her again but I have to move on, Go stick your Nose out Kiran you ain't dead yet keep moving, That is probably what she would say now. Not knowing where she is was worst than knowing she was dead, But at least she was out there, the strong Haru she knew as her friend. From time to time getting a message from her was okay but she did not even massage back after her last message at all.

Walking in the streets I look around to see a girl maybe around the same age as her as well and with her blonde hair and blue eyes... well I could not say different but she looked quite cute just like that other girl I once met. Haru would definitely push me to meet her. Walking up to her a bit I notice the construction she was at, this was the house of the old man who gave the first lesson and the quest after that. Those memories were times I would not forget. With those memories in mind, I walked up to the woman but once there I got nervous and lost everything I wanted to say "H...Hi...You.. no... um ... do you need help?" I said forgetting what I wanted to ask her and went for the thing that made the most sense in my mind.

"Oh, o...ok, then no worry, I think," I say to Neo as she answers my question, I sounded a bit sad hearing this and fell quiet again hearing where Pettlelin and Vanilla were speaking about. It sounded like they spoke about how the peeps met with each other. It sounded a bit sad to hear and I felt bad for Neo and Vanilla, they both looked quite a small bit younger them me and Pettlelin, and something inside me made me feel even a bit sadder for them for sure. Pettlelin was listening to the story Vanilla was talking about as well and she would know what I wanted to do but was too shy to even try it myself. And Pettlelin stopped making me bump into her, and she just smiled, "Do it  Kiran, I know you want to do it so why not do it," SHe said to me with a smile.

As the group stopped I looked at Pettlelin and try to get a weak smile of and then nodded, I have to do this, for my own sake and theirs, I need to make myself and them feel better, that is my job as adult, I think, I was thinking slowly of a way to go around my shyness but then just did it, "U..um Neo, Vanilla, c...can I... H... Hu... HUG YOU!" I said trying to force myself to say it. Pettlelin laughed a bit and patted me on the shoulder, "What she wants is o hug you to make you both feel better, and well also to make herself feel a bit better," She said now standing behind me.

I look at Neo as she speaks to me again saying her thanks and saying my hair was nice too, but I thought a bit and I know my Gray-ish hair is just like any other, It just happens I wear it in a braid. I nod to the girl being a bit younger than me and for sure also a bit smaller like maybe 3 inches or so. "Um... Thank you, I guess," I said fast really not knowing what to say more. then I looked at my weapon a bit and smiled a bit before turning to Neo and see that she had a Rapier as well, "Y...you using that too. It's... s...strong." I stopped for a second before thinking again about what I was going to say next, "I...I teach you, How t...to use. It's v...very simple," I said to Neo as I hear Pettlelin laugh again doing with one hand, some sign language meaning, Old Habit, I nodded to Pettlelin and waited for Neo to answer if she wanted help.

While on the other side Pettlelin was still talking to Vanilla, "If you don't mind me asking, Why does your Friend, Neo, not talk that much. I know Summoner is just quite shy and does not like to be with people so a life of tying online and sign language and being a lonely person forever, works for her much better. but why does Neo not talk that much,"  Pettlelin asked Vanilla. I heard her say it and put up my middle finger at Pettlelin as she turns with an eye to me smiling, "love you too Kiran-chan," she said jokingly to me

Really, these things don't want to stop do they now, I took my rapier in my hand and looked at the Boar Pup getting ready to attack, I was sadly faster than him and with one strong trust I placed my weapon into the Boar, HAA Got him with a Crit, Now next up was to regain my Energy. My Energy was getting lower then I hoped and I turned to look at Haru for a bit, she was still fighting a Boar pup and was getting it with her weapon quite fast. "AAAH BINGO!" She yelled out and I turned to look at her holding a boar tusk in her hand, "Nice done. we get there slowly I hope, Maybe a bit slow but we do," I said to her as she walked up to me sitting next to me.

Hey don't push me away, I thought as she sat next to me on a rock, "Sorry Kiran, I'm a bit tired and it seemed you are too the swet is running down your forehead," She said to me with a smile. I covered my head and blushed a bit, "Heck, don't point it out, I know, out energy is low still, but we getting there to start." I said to her with a smile lowering my hands to look at her.

I moved around the boar and with a smile attacked down on the boar quite elegant killing it yet again in one blow, but not like last time as this time the boar did not drop the Tusk I was needing for the quest, "Stupid Loot Drops, Unfair," I said looking at the fight between Pettlelin and the third boar she was facing, She seemed to be in much better shape than me and was quite strong in defense, But that was all. I was more of a backline player shouting out orders and going range damage, but In this game, I really needed to get up close, I had no problem with this but still, I was not really used to it. On the other side, I did once do a Melee only walkthrough with a game and that went quite well. As I looked to see it another spawned yet I was only to see a smaller part and Knew something would spawn very soon.

I was busy trying to see If another Boar would spawn but I saw that Pettlelin was busy fighting her own Boar as she then attacked killing it right away just like me. I smiled at her and went on to looking for a new spawn. At the same moment, a new Boar pup spawned on my side and I went to attack it only now as it jumped out of the way of my attack and went to attack as well As I just barely moved out of the way to get a small boost. I was really lucky it did not hit me and I turned to face the boar again and started to see how he would move and what kind of move set he would have, so far I could see it had just a small headbutt attack and that was all. "They weak, 5 Hitpoints, 1 basic attack, Simple but they are fast and small," I said over to Pettlelin who seemed to have killed yet another one as I look, "Oi, I know that now, Thank you, dear. I keep it in mind but I think they can do nothing to me not even damage," Pettlelin said to me with a smile.

We walked a bit more and came to the side of the forest where the quest showed us that the Boar pups were here. I looked a bit and spotted a few monsters as they where Boar pups, I looked to Haru and nodded, "Haru, you and I split. You take that one, Me take this one, No worry I can handle," I said to Pettlelin as she was agreeing with this tactic of us getting the loot faster over two groups. "I see what you getting at, better to split up but stay close, They may be no thread at all but still let's keep close," Pettlelin said to me before walking off the boar.

We both moved to our own boar and took out our weapons, Haru had her Spear and I took out my Rapier who was gold with some sort of butterfly hilt. I went for the attack as my weapon started glowing a bit and I called out "Rip Ravine!"  As then the blue color of my weapon started to glow a bit more and I hit the Boar with two quick slashes and it disappeared. A small window popped up saying Loot, showing the 1 Boar Tusk I got from the boar, meaning I just needed 2 more to be successful in this quest.

As I see Pettlelin talk with the Vanilla girl she asks how they met and Vanilla tells Pettlelin that she and the other girl met on school. It was just like them for sure but a bit more normal. I saw Pettlelin smile happy and she spoke up as well, "Let's see, it was about 7 years ago Now, We met at school for the first time. She did not really make any friends then but she was the one to step up to me and say hi. It was like we knew each other from before as she and I already seemed to play games together and she recognized my voice a bit. Later on, We went on living together and got really close as friends, altho she kept a shy aura around herself and really did not speak much at all and spoke more over text then just normally." Pettlelin said to Vanilla as I looked at her and nodded in silent. "Don't Like, speaking," I said to Vanilla.

As I turn to face the girl with two color hair, As she said Hi to me. I try to give a smile but it was quite weak to show. "Hello...." I said fast looking at her trying to think of something to talk about but I really did not get anything in mind so I just spoke, "Um... Nice hair... I mean Beautiful hair," I said feeling a bit dumb in saying this in the first place as it did sound a bit weird in my eyes as I really did not know where to talk about at this point. I saw Pettlelin look back and get out a small giggle at me as I said this seeing her face with the look as she was trying to say 'You're hopeless Kiran' And I knew she thought it so I did a bit of Sigh language meaning, 'I'm not Hopeless, You are now please hurry up,' she laughed a bit and turned back to Vanilla.

As I was busy a bit my minds went on something else and wanted to leave just to start leveling a bit more but I was held back as Pettlelin grabbed my robe and pulled me by the hood revealing my Gray braided Gray hair to the two girls we talked to just a second ago. "You ain't going anywhere miss, I hate socializing, you need this and you know it is good for you," Pettlelin said to me pulling me back to the conversation. "Really Don't mind her, she just like this quite a lot," Pettlelin said about me as I started to twist my hair with my fingers a bit nervous. 

Pettleling smiled nicely to the girl as they introduced each other as well "Well Nice to meet you, Neo-politan, and Vanilla. I'm sure some relaxing would be fun right," She said as she started to nudge me a bit more, "Y...Yeah, Nice," I said to the two girls before following them. While following them I turn to Pettlelin and start to use sign language to her doing, Why did you have the ask me with you, I really hate you now. Pettlelin got out a small laugh and patted me on the head, as I puffed a bit, "Because otherwise you be a lonely person and we don't want that do we now, Like you always say best is to keep teammates in a game, and this is a game so take it while you still can handle it," She said to me as I pushed her a bit, "Stop  it please Haru, I just ... Okay... I did say that, so I will follow for now," I said low to Pettlelin. She smiled and started to walk next to the Vanilla girl, "How did you meet each other If I may ask?" She said with a smile.

I looked as to Pettlelin starts speaking with some college looking kids, I would not know much but just to stare from the back as walking up slowly. Pettlelin talked to the two girls a bit as I walked up, "No need to be sorry, We were just looking for someone to hang out with," She said to the white-haired girl. I walked up to with pulling my hood even more over my face a bit slowly walking next to Pettlelin, She did not even wait but that was just Pettlelin how she was in things, "I'm Pettlelin, And this here is my good friend Summoner. As I already said, We were looking for someone to hang out with us. I know we are a bit older, I can tell for sure, But don't mind that we are still okay to hang out with," She said as she then went on to place a hand on my head as she went on the pat me. I stared at her for a second and just nodded to them, "We ok," I said to both girls pushing Pettlelin's hand off my head. Pettlelin moved a bit closer to the girls "Don't mind her, she is shy and stuff, scared people will know her name from some tournaments she took part of in the gaming world." She moved back and I just stared at her with a look like 'Please stop it' But she was not going to stop, "Mind if we tag along?" She then asked them smiling.

walking out of the settlement yet again Haru started to poke me again, "Stop," I say quick pushing her hand away. She smiles and starts to speak "Kiran, Could you please share your thoughts on your plan," she says to me smiling like some innocent person. "Okay. Short, Split up but stay close. Make sure to inta kill them and not take much damage," I say to her with a smile waiting for a response. It seems tho as Haru got it and I smile happily as we move more into the wild and ready to fight the boars very easy. I know this was going to be our first combat but I was sure to be ready by now and get my rapier some action as well. I could not wait and already took out my weapon as it was quite thin and easy to move around, As I do so Haru get out her spear and shield as well starting to use the spear as a walking cane a bit, "You ready Miss Summoner, You have summoned me here to fight with you and we will fight together I will follow your orders," She says jokingly as she smiles at me, "Please don't do that," I say to her as we kept moving.

Following Haru to the outside of the settlement, I was busy making a plan on my own at the moment. I was not sure how much it was going to be but at least get her and her friend both 3 tusks. This would not be that hard if the luck of the tusks was going to show off. So if the boars do not much damage I can take them very easily, But taking them down will be another thing, Maybe it was the best if we split up in this one, but keep close to make sure the other does not be taken by surprise. So making sure I do 4 Damage and have my sword art so I can take at least them out very fast. But getting the tusks will be a bit harder for sure, so let's test this. I get lost in my thoughts and it seems that Haru knows as well and start pocking me quite a bit, "Don't" I say to her as she smiles, "Sorry just don't like when you get quiet, So I just pock you," Haru says to me as she smiles happily as we walk in the settlement.

Some things never change, meeting new faces has always been my weaker side even on games but now I know better than meetings are sometimes bound to happen if you want it or not. Sure I can Handle myself fine But according to my old friend I can't. But in this flashback, I surely will know that things will always happen twice and for sure not going to be left behind. Just remember I always say, remember the fun things with people you loved and well I may not say it out loud to anyone but I enjoyed this meeting quite well even If two of us did not speak much at all.

2 Years earlier

"Where we go," I ask Pettlelin as she drags me along the arm not telling me where we were going, I did not like it at all and she was not even going to tell me. She turned to face me and smiled, "I will push you to make some more friends for sure, I know we have done the First lessons now but we can't just keep trusting each other all the time. I know you like to plan ahead so why not make a plan with some new people as it will be very fun, Trust me," Haru said to me dragging me into the plaza. She looked around and kept holding my hand making sure I did not walk away, "No fair, I do not get to choose," I say to her as I pull my hood over my gray long hair. My white robes where the only thing that I had and of course some armor just to protect myself While Pettlelin or Haru was wearing Red heavy armor and a red flower in her pink hair. Haru looked around for a good minute and then let's go of my hand and tugs onto another girl harm asking her something "Hello, Mind if I can ask something, are you interested in talking with me and my friend," She said to the girl smiling happily as she pointed to me. Please Don't let it be someone who knows my Gamertag, I have no time for that, I think to myself. I know my gamer tag is known for a few more people as I quite know of helping people online in games and even took part in a gaming tournament but please don't be someone who knows my Gamertag.

Some things are better than not to talk about but some things keep on your brain lingering until you completely forget them. But not like this one, I still remember them good. It has been two years now but still remembers them quite well. But it is better to speak about them if feel down. Golden memories are once to keep and look past the bad thing that is in that memory. I keep this in mind quite well but still planning ahead is not always the best you become quite down if things don't pick up as you planned them to. So I will show you what I can remember but don't get mad at me because it has been two years already.

Both I and Haru stood in the workshop of the blacksmith, it seemed like his quest could now be started and both Haru and I spoke with the NPC known as Lyle. He looked older then the other NPC we had a quest before but still, I was not worried about it. We spoke with the NPC and he told us that we needed to get him some Boar pup tusks meaning that this was going to be both our first combat that was going to happen. Haru pointed to the quest things saying that is was very easy to fight with the boars are very easy to beat. I looked at her "Think I'm ready," I said to Haru as I started to make a plan on how to defeat those boars. As I followed Haru outside of the workshop

Haru and I made our way out of the workshop as I was holding a small box with potions in it, the NPC asked us to bring them to a blacksmith and ask if he could pay us off for doing the delivery. "It is quite interesting how NPC work with each other, did not know that they acted like that," Haru said to me as I turned to look at her, "Maybe something new," I say to her as we make our way to the Blacksmith called Lyle. It was quite interesting to see this as the NPC really did interact with the players and with the other NPC's as well. "Feel like real people, Minus the standard Dialog they have," I say to Haru as she turns to the NPC in the distance. It took not long but we got the door of the workshop from the blacksmith. Haru opened the door for me and pointed at the NPC. I walked up to him and spoke up "Hello, delivery for Blacksmith," I say as the NPC turns around and greets us as well. He seemed happy with the box and turns to the back and hand us some potions and even some Col as well, It seemed that things where getting handy and the quest was clear but not only that Now the NPC had a quest marker meaning that the First lesson gave open to this quest Lyle had.

I start very simply by looking at the items and the flask I was given by the NPC it seemed that the thing here was that there was not really a menu at all. So I started to select the Flask and two of the materials I had found and selected them at the same time as then they glow up blue and a few seconds later the flask was filled with some red color. So what you need to do is select them and just hope for a good combination of Items, So how would it be with crafting weapons, maybe you needed to get the material and start the hammer away at the item, Now I want to know really bad, I think as I show the item to the NPC who seemed happy. then Haru was up but she did not do it like me as her flask was filled with a yellow color. she turned to me "I got a Good item, what about you," She says to me as I read mine, "Rare," I say before the NPC asks us to do something else as well. A very easy way to bring the NPC some goods.

getting into the settlement Haru and I walked to the workshop again as we did so we could see a lot of players, what was no wonder as everyone here was still low level and the first-floor boss still needed to be defeated. Some people were scared and hiding and others did not waste time and where quite busy and stuff. "We will get there right, I know we can get up higher and get things started as well," Haru says to me as I nod to her. "We do, I'm here," I say proudly to her as I start making my way to the door again and open into the workshop. there again was the NPC sitting in his normal place and I and Haru started to talk with the NPC again who greeted up happy and told up what we needed to do now, It was very simple and we needed to craft some potion to get that under our belt a bit. "I go first, Okay?" I ask Haru as she nodded to me allowing me to go first with the items and other stuff we got from outside.
