  1. Ozwald followed the tall blue haired man out of his shop having to jog a bit to catch up to him, looking directly at him he only came up to his shoulder. "Why that is very kind of you. . .Uh I guess I never asked, What's your name?" Ozwald had stopped bothering to try and hide his accent at this point, he knew that once it started going that he wouldn't be able to control it for a while. At least not until he calmed down.

"My Name is Ozwald, but my friends just call me Grimm." Ozwald continued walking with the blue haired man, sending him a friend request as they walked. A look of astonishment crossing his face. did he hear him right, a week ago he was level one? he was almost level 60 now, The look of astonishment was replaced by one of pure awe as Ozwald stared up at the man he had yet to learn the name of. Ozwald realized that he was staring and quickly looked away embarrassed and blushing.

Ozwald was surprised by the sudden change in attitude from seemingly uncaring to what seemed to be one of concern. Ozwald rubbed the back of his head a little embarrassed by the attention that was suddenly given to him. "Yeah, I finally got fed up with having everyone on the frontlines, putting their life on the line for somebody who was doing nothing at all." Ozwald replied to the odd blue haired fellows question, his british accent coming in heavily which just seemed to make him even more embarrassed.

"I only just started going out and doing quests for people around the Town of Beginnings" Ozwald put his hand down back by his side not quite knowing where he should put it, deciding to just let it hang loosely by his hilt. "I was going to head out to Hannah's grotto after buying these trinkets, so that I can finish up Lyle's quest." Ozwald tried to mask his british accent but was having trouble, Why did he have to ask me questions i am terrible under pressure Ozwald thought to himself trying to calm himself down.

Ozwald switched up his strategy instead of slashing at the goblin in front of him he decided to pierce it with his sword instead in a hopes that his hit would land. Ozwald lunged forward sending his sword straight at the first goblin, Ozwald could only hope that the goblin wouldn't jump out of the way. As Ozwald thought that very thought the spindly green humanoid ducked under his blade, snapping its own blade against Ozwald's armour clad stomach, tendrils of black formed from the armor and pierced through the goblin after its strike landed. The other two goblins just seemed to be standing there watching not moving in to help their comrade at all during this short engagement.Ozwald felt disdain for the short green creatures, they felt no compassion and for that Ozwald despised them. Bringing his sword up to bear Ozwald prepared for the next attack that he would be making.

Ozwald took his blade and swung it across horizontally at the first goblin, jumping out of the way caused the first goblin to not be within range to attack back. The other two goblins however still had the perfect opportunity to attack. Both goblins brought their decrepit swords down in an overhead swing at Ozwald. The ring of their blades made two ding sounds almost back to back against Ozwald's armor, the dark cold tendrils reaching out to pierce the third goblin again. Ozwald looked at the three goblins that he was fighting with contempt, they were unrefined and fought with little grace or teamwork, preferring to just attack a lot rather than putting any strategy behind their swings. "Is that all you rats have for me" Ozwald shouted at the goblins standing in front of them with their swords brandished . Alone these goblins would be a cake walk for Ozwald, but all three were going to take him some time to kill.

Ozwald charged out from behind his cover, charging at the goblin closest to himself with his golden sword leveled to hit him in the sternum. The three spindly goblins stood up, they had putrid green skin and bald misshapen heads with long pointy ears, they had long thin arms and legs that looked very fragile, but hid surprising strength. Ozwald slammed the blade of Dawn's Lament deep into the goblin's sternum, pulling out ferociously. Turning his body in such a way that he could see all of the goblins all at once. All three of the goblins bent down and retrieved their rusted straight swords striking simultaneously Ozwald had to choose which blade to block. Ozwald brought his gleaming blade up to meet the first goblin's strike, letting the two other Goblins hit him with their cheap blades. The dark tendrils of Ozwald's armor piercing the hand and arm of the third goblin to attack.

  6. After picking up the item that Ozwald needed for his quest, he had to find away down from this part of the room. Searching for an exit Ozwald found another staircase that was half broken, he climbed down the staircase and hopped the last 5 feet of of the staircase. Ozwald opened his inventory to confirm that he had found all of the items that he had needed to find. Closing his inventory Ozwald began picking his way back through the overgrown time worn structure that he had found himself in. Coming upon the bug arche that was the entrance to these ruins Ozwald heard something. It sounded like mumbling, Ozwald walked towards the sound carefully pulling his sword out of his scabbard. Pushing aside some large plants Ozwald saw four goblins sitting around talking in their native tongue. Ozwald readied his sword for an attack against the goblins, preparing to charge at the most opportune time.

  7. Ozwald pushed the thicket of overgrown vines out from the Archway into a new room. Walking past the thicket Ozwald came into a room with a giant central hole in the floor  shining light onto the floor below. Looking past the large hole that was in the floor Ozwald could see another glint coming from an item. Looking for a way across the hole Ozwald noticed that there was not a single one. Ozwald decided that his best bet would be to jump over the hole, it was only five or six feet wide, and Ozwald could probably jump that if he had a running start. Backing up until his back hit the wall Ozwald prepared himself for the leap that he was about to make. Pushing off of the wall behind him Ozwald ran and leaped over the hole, flying through the air the hole seemed a lot scarier than he thought it would be, it looked much deeper than before. Ozwald landed on the other side of the hole his feet mere inches away from the edge, getting up Ozwald grabbed the item that he had found and pocketed it into his inventory.

The higher that Ozwald climbed the more and more that the bricks gave with every step, some even falling apart completely as his foot left them. Ozwald climbed the rickety steps for about 25 steps each one more unstable than the last. Taking his first step onto the top floor Ozwald instantly regretted what he had done. Ozwald could feel the floor almost bend and bow in places when you would put his full weight there. Crossing through the first doorway Ozwald found another item this time what looked to be a weapon, pocketing the item and placing it directly into his inventory, Ozwald continued to explore the time worn top floor of the ruins pushing his way past a hanging thicket of vines.

Ozwald wandered around the crumbling ruins looking for more things to loot, searching through the first couple of opened up rooms on the first floor. The closer that Ozwald got to the center of the ruins the less crumbly and broken the walls seemed, instead of being jagged teeth of rock coming out of the ground in random intervals, the walls had now become more intact just spiderwebbed with cracks running along the entirety of the building. Ozwald saw for the first time in the center of the fairly large ruins a stairwell spiralling upwards towards an upper floor. Ozwald  decided that instead of going up them for now, Ozwald decided to finish exploring the bottom floor before he moved up the rickety staircase. Another half an hour of searching went by and Ozwald hadn't found anything at all on this floor of the ruins. Because of his lack of luck Ozwald returned to the rickety stone staircase pondering whether or not he should go up or find somewhere else to explore Ozwald prepared for his first step.

  10. Ozwald made his way through the shopping district of the Town of Beginnings, passing by the endless shops on either side, too intrigued by the strange kid he met to really pay attention to the things around himself. eventually Ozwald passed through the entirety of the shopping district and started passing through the normal streets that could be found inside of the Town of Beginnings. Ozwald finally snapped out of his pondering and forced himself to focus on what was important, finding those unidentified items. Ozwald passed through the gate and out of the safe zone into the wild area, looking for anywhere that might have leftover unidentified materials. Ozwald walked through the plains outside of the town for over a half hour before spotting something in the distance, straining his eyes to see it Ozwald noticed that it was some ruins. As Ozwald grew closer and closer to the ruins, he could see just how dilapidated the ruins were. They were completely overgrown Ferns and plants coming out of cracks in what once was a floor, the old gray stone crumbling into dust at the slightest bout of wind. This was a good place as any Ozwald thought, and began looking around for items. Seeing a glint off to one side of the ruins underneath an Arch, Ozwald walked closer to it before bending down to pick it up and add it to his inventory.

Ozwald had been mulling over choosing a profession for a while, ultimately deciding that having some form of extra income coming in was probably a good idea. Ozwald found himself wandering through the shopping district of the Town of Beginnings, waiting for one of the different shops to pique his interest enough for him to choose it has his profession. looking around the shopping district at the rows upon rows of shops Ozwald was beginning to lose hope, he was thinking about giving up on the profession all together. "Hey you wanna learn how to cheat the sy- I mean make good sales? Follow me."  Ozwald looked downward from where the voice came from, and there stood a kid no older than 16. The kid ran off beckoning for Ozwald to follow him. Without a second thought Ozwald followed the kid into a small building off to the side of an inn, leading you to a back room completely full of different gear that had amazing stats. "If you really want to learn how to be a Merchant, you have to be crafty and smart for this. You best know what you are doing. I'll show you how to identify an it- No! I'm all out." Ozwald just stares at the boy confused, the strange boy looked up at Ozwald "Go get me some more, around 3, so I can show you how to do this." The boy commanded Ozwald with an impatient look in his eyes "I don't understand what you mean" Ozwald responded to the boy calm and collected. "Hurry go out and find unidentified items." The boy practically shouted shooing Ozwald out of his shop. Ozwald as confused by what had just happened as he had ever been by anything else decided to listen to the kid.

  12. Ozwald squeezed his way back through the tight hallway back into the main chamber of the cave, Eyes adjusting to the light Ozwald searched for the corridor of rough hewn stone that would lead him out of this cave. Once his eyes had fully adjusted to the sunlight that could filter in through the corridor, it was easy enough to find. Continuing his trek back to the Town of Beginning Ozwald walked through the corridor leading to the outside and the hilly plains beyond. Walking along the same route that had brought Ozwald to the cave it didn't take very long for Ozwald to get back to the gate of the safe zone and to enter the town. Ozwald followed the path that he had memorized back to Lyle's shop.

Ozwald opened the door to the elderly blacksmith's shop "Hello," he called out "I brought back the materials that you were looking for." Ozwald waited for Lyle to come back into the main portion of his hop. "Ah it's you boy, I see you brought what I needed. Hand it over boy" Ozwald placed the bag of materials into the elderly man's outstretched hand. "I want you to deliver a package for me, to a girl named Hannah you can find her in a grove of trees near town. Oh and take these for your trouble" Ozwald accepts both the package for Hannah and the gifts that Lyle gave him turning around he exits Lyle's shop.

The mostly wooden spider turned its body and face towards Ozwald, roaring in a blood curdling scream the spider pounced at Ozwald Biting into his stomach and holding there with the same crushing force as before. Ozwald could feel the pressure building again, The sharp teeth pressing into the armor, almost biting all of the way through still seemingly not bothered by the sharp tendrils of darkness coming off of Ozwald's armor Ozwald couldn't let those teeth through the armour, he didn't want to see how much damage they might do. Ozwald once again took the blade that he bought grabbing it with both hands launching it deep into the Spider like creature's eye. The spider once again let go of its prey screaming a scream that would send shivers down the strongest beast's spine, spewing ichor from out of its eye all over the cavern walls and the floor. Ozwald watched as the creature fell over and dissipated into the customary red cloud that he had grown used to. Ozwald walked over to where the corpse had been and picked up the materials that were there, pocketing them in his inventory.

Ozwald rolled forward right as the big spider thing turned to bite at him, narrowly missing his foot, the spider roared, making a sound that made shivers run down Ozwald's spine. "Your days are numbered" Ozwald said to the creature pointing his ichor soaked sword at it soliciting no response.

The spider chest creature let go of Ozwald's shoulder scurrying backwards away from the golden sword. The blood dripping off of Ozwald's sword wasn't like normal blood, it was a black sticky ichor that ran down the fine golden steel. Ozwald looked on in horror, in the dim light it was hard to see, but he knew that the chest had to have been a mimic. It looked like some weird spider, 8 long spindly black legs coming out from inside the chest, which looked like it was filled with a black pulsating body mass. The chest's eight glowing red eyes focused on Ozwald as a mouth opened on the front of the chest full of rows upon rows of sharp yellow pointy teeth. and a long pink tongue.

Ozwald felt his way around the jagged edge of the cave wall bumping into stalagmites as he went. When Ozwald had reached the other side of the room he kicked something that sounded like wood rather than the stone that he had previously been bumping into. Ozwald bent down to look at what he had bumped into. Ozwald felt the object noticing that it was in fact made of wood and had a few iron bands on it. "it is probably waiting for me to take the initiative" Ozwald thought to himself "I guess i will have to charge it down.". Ozwald prepared himself sliding his foot backwards lining his sword up horizontally preparing himself to charge at any moment. Ozwald looked the boar in the eyes, his red ones full of fire and determination, and the boars with no actual emotion, just the cheap imitation. The boar had flat red eyes, This realization, the fact that the boars had no emotions triggered something in Ozwald. The idea of killing these emotionless creatures didn't bother him anymore. Ozwald thought back on the previous creatures that he put his blade through and no longer felt the guilt that he used to feel.

Ozwald stood watching the final boar, the last opponent that he had to face, Completely unworried about the  fight, the boar pups were not a challenge at all to Ozwald and this next one wouldn't be either. Ozwald once again braced himself to be attacked by the final boar, hoping that his armour would be able to deal with the final boar when it goes in to strike. The boar readied itself fro what Ozwald was hoping would be the final charge that boar ever makes. The boar launched itself at Ozwald its hooves clacking against the stone floor of the cavern slamming its head directly into Ozwald's stomach, but the boar was able to jump away before the armour was able to pierce through it. Ozwald cursed his luck and the speed of these much smaller boars. Ozwald again waited for the boar to get ready to attack, making sure that his stance was solid and that he would be able to take the brunt of the blow.

Ozwald once again raised his sword preparing to strike the nearest boar to him, bringing the sword down again. The boars were fast though and were able to dodge out of the way of Dawn's Lament, Ozwald's sword, in order to not get hit at all by the blade. "Stay still you tiny little buggers" Ozwald yelled out, his british accent coming through his words very strong, because of how emotional he was. Ozwald had only personally killed one of the boars that were here and so, decided that just letting the boars kill themselves on his armour would be the best strategy to win. Of the two remaining boars only one attacked slamming into the back of Ozwald's knees almost causing him to topple over. Just like Ozwald expected the armour did its work piercing through the small boar and making it, like its friends, explode into the red cloud of data.

Ozwald understood that these creatures were just programs, but watching the small boars die and poof into nothingness still made him feel somewhat guilty, taking the life of an adult boar was one story, but taking the life of a child was on a whole other level. Despite these feelings Ozwald raised his sword and swung it downward at the fast moving boar that was in front of him. The boars were still too fast for Ozwald, he did not expect that the boar would be able to get out of the way of his sword, but it did. The fast little boars never stopped moving and were hard to hit for Ozwald. Two of the boars ran up to Ozwald and slammed their tusks into his thighs, another of the boars being impaled by the armor that Ozwald was wearing exploding again into the cloud of red dust that quickly faded away.

  23. Ozwald kept walking, and came to a larger room inside the cave, and inside were four boar pups and behind them was what seemed to be another room. Ozwald looked at the pups and realized that he probably didn't have to come up with a strategy, the boars looked very fragile, and he thought that he could easily kill them in less than a minute. walking into the room with no real strategy to speak of Ozwald brought his sword to bare on the four pups as they rushed him.

Ozwald sliced his readied sword at the very small albeit fast boar that charged at him. His sword easily hit the target slicing a clean line of red through its chest. The speed of the four boars took Ozwald by surprise though, they were able to completely surround Ozwald and gore at his knees and thighs, ozwald saw one of the boars get pierced by his armor and then explode into the customary red cloud, but the other boars were too fast and were able to avoid the damage

  24. Ozwald slowly picked his way through the cramped, dark and wet cavern, reminding himself of how he used to explore the cave behind his house with his father before he had to move to Japan, Ozwald wished he could remember his father's face. All Ozwald could remember about him was his laugh, so deep and booming, Alexander Grimm was a caring man and he was always laughing, it was infectious. Misty eyed Ozwald shook his head clearing away all of the thoughts of the past that he would rather forget, even before SAO these memories hurt too much. Ozwald continuously walked down the cavern, listening to the high pitched whistle that permeated the cavern. As he got closer to the back of the cavern thoat high pitched sound revealed itself as the whining of smaller boars. Ozwald quickened his pace, "those sounds have to belong to the boar pups that I am looking for." Ozwald was excited to finally be done with the boars that he had been fighting, all he had to do was fight this last fight, and get the tusks.

Ozwald turned to face the second boar, the last boar left alive, and steeled himself for the attack that he knew that he was coming. The final boar scraped its hoof against the ground snorting and squealing before finally charging at Ozwald. Looking at the charging boar Ozwald knew that it was over for the beast his health bar was far too low to be able to survive hitting Ozwald. The boar not knowing that his end was soon barrelled his way into Ozwald getting in one last hit before slumping onto the floor and bursting into an explosion of red that quickly dissolved.

Ozwald slumped down and sat on the ground hard, Exhausted. Ozwald stared out the mouth of the cave dreading whatever may lie beyond the mouth further into the cave. Ozwald had gotten enough rest in the grief time he had sat, and he stood up grabbing all of the loot that dropped off of these two boars, heading into the mouth of the cave.
