  1. He found it... Hermit's Hermetics

It wasn't that famous per se but he still found out that the place had some kind of envenom potion. He wanted it or to be exact, he needed it. People are wary of poisons but only a few appreciates its use. If the only thing that people can think of is using it to kill then they are probably thinking of nuclear bombs.

Plini made his way inside the store and quickly looked for some envenom potions. It took him a minute but he found it and that's what matters. He quickly pulled out col from his inventory and asked for it "one necrosis please" he told him.

    purchased:

Synthesized Virus - Necrosis [Toxic Venom (T1): 167185-1] [750 col]

  2. [#10]

Plini was sure he was on the right road in the conversation, like it was some kind of roleplaying inside roleplaying game. He knew of some who would go as far as to act like some noble and pretend that their friends or acquaintances are subjects. Despite that, the day ends with them dropping the act and be someone normal or common. There was nothing wrong with it, people live how they want if they are given the chance, and he has no right to kick their well-built sand castles.

This one, Nyaa, he had a feeling that she wasn't putting an act.

    Plini stare.jpg

"A king to rule... subjects... idle human beings" Plini crunched the fried dumpling in his mouth as he listened. "You speak like you're an empe..." he took a quick look at the bento "maybe she finds this food cheap... of course they are, it's all free!" he told himsef as he continued eating. "I suppose you plan to be like Oda Nobunaga and unite all players... no matter what methods?" he asked her. That would be the most realistic approach, simply acting like a saint and convincing everyone isn't enough, or maybe Nian was simply telling him that someone's gotta do the ruling the right way.

  3. "Well, suit yourself but seriously, skipping meals is bad" he told her. Was his point getting across? Plini has a huge appetite but the drawback is that he eats slowly. That's right, he eats a lot but does it slowly that no one would notice the amount of food he can gobble down. This situation was a temptation, obviously one bento box is for Nian, one for him, and the third one would be split... or end up in an unexpected battle for supremacy over lunchboxes.

"Subject?" he muttered. Was it fancy speak? seems unlikely seeing that she uttered it so surely before placing her attention back to the rock she kept on punching. Plini ate as he watched her, and saw some red gash on the boulder "am I having the Mystic Eyes of Death Perception or is the boulder bleeding for real?" he thought. Nian has been proving to him that she doesn't need his help "if I am a subject then that means you're a ruler or something?" he asked nonchalantly.

He saw her look at the bentos beside him, she seemed to want to eat but something is holding her back. Plini tapped the two bentos stacked beside him with his spoon telling her that she's free to eat it anytime.

  4. An odd-looking, old-fashioned shop? it seems like it would sell some kind of lucky jars or charms for Plini. That however cant' hide the the feeling that the shop is prosperous, managed well and... "ah please don't kiss each other" Plini told the two NPCs as he entered the shop.

An easy request, he looked at the stocks and packages laid out. "I see, this way anyone can actually buy what they need with less hassle, very impressive" he thought. He had enough money to buy two packages, thanks to the guy whom he joined for an expedition, it would be a waste to leave it stagnating inside his pocket.

"I'd like a DPS and tanking consumables package each..." he pulled out some col from his inventory "for a tier one player" he added.

DPS + Tank consumable package = 2925 col

  5. He jumped back...
Just enough to avoid the powerful blow...

Plini tilted his head, maybe punching the boulder with her is not the kind of help he can give. "Eeeh? very impressive..." he turned around and set his eyes on his sling bag, trying to think of another way... to bug her. Plini came this far and it would be rude to just leave no matter how Nian seem to not mind at all if he did. "My sisters would probably be telling me it's rude to leave and to stay..." he sighed. He looked at the clock of his user interface "almost lunch" he thought.

Plini made his way back to his bag and sword, sat down, and watched as Nian continued the ferocity of her attacks. He opened his inventory and scrolled through the vanity items he had, mostly are free items and a bulk of it seems like the right type of item for this kind of situation. Three bentos materialized in front of Plini stacked together "starting items with no buffs in them, just for satiating one's hunger" he placed the two on the ground beside him and opened one for himself.

"Hey, it's almost lunchtime, I got food to share..." it might not be enough to get her attention "having an empty stomach might lower the strength of your punches" he added as he took a bite from a sausage.

  6. "Hmm, quite temperament, pack power but lacks control" Plini took a few steps back slowly as Nian gave him the fierce attention he wasn't expecting "That's right, stupid forest..." he settled his sling bag and sword down on the ground and moved to one side of the boulder, tapping it with the back of his hand "this would be easier with a helping hand..."  he walked back to his sling bag and searched for anything, something can help them but it seems it was proof that he hasn't covered his scouting supplies yet.

Should he help? it seemed like Nyaa wasn't keen to having help on her side this time, unless she says it. "That's it..." Plini placed his thumb on his lips "it's like a birthday party, don't go if no one invites you" he thought. With that in mind he walked back to the boulder, turned his back on it and lied on it's side, away from Nian's range of attack "I don't plan to bother you, maybe I can help and that is if you're willing."

  7. "That's no good" Plini sprinted towards the boar who seem to be doing a sumo duel with Shirogane. She had the strength but it was a bit on the defense side despite having a deadly-looking spear. It took only less than five seconds and the two of them are trying to push back the boar pup "why the hell is this one persistent?" he asked.

The boar pup pushed them both back, what an embarrassing turn of events. Plini landed on his back and Shirogane on top of him "one boar is becoming more than trouble for us..." Plini held Shirogane's arms and rolled over wit her as the boar went past them "can you pin it down again? it seems to be agitated because we killed a lot in a short span of time" he told her while helping the lady stand up by wrapping his arm around her, holding his sword on the other.

  8. "I've pretty much got everything I can to take on that alchemist..." Plini sat quietly, his head however, was still swirling and thinking of what other things he need to get the profession. It would be a bummer if he wasn't prepared, a contradiction to who he always is. "An accuracy food, loot die buff, add some speedy boi buffs, and lastly I should try to look once more for a damage..."

    "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!"

Plini grabbed the hilt of his sword and looked around him, it seemed like someone got stung by a bee as big as that mascot in a fast food he ate outside Aincrad. He hadn't realized it but he was sitting near a quest area "if I remember correctly, this is some kind of quest to unlock an extra skill" he thought. From afar where he sat was a boulder visible enough for someone with 20/20 vision and also a figure quite so familiar with him "Nyaa?" he muttered. Plini quietly went down the hill and approached the person who he recalls to be "Nyaa" but in truth, it was "Nian."

As nimble as he can, Plini approached Nian who seemed dead serious to destroy the boulder "hi Nyaa, are you trying to unlock ultra instinct?" he asked her.

  9. A cart, a cook, and a place no one expects it would be... in a grassland. Plini wasn't sure if it was a joke or he's simply losing it with his stay in Aincrad growing longer. "I might as well try what this guy have" he thought. Plini walked towards the cook, his hand touching the foxtails around him. It was easy to approach but somehow he finds it hard what to say.

"Um, how do you keep the fire going while cooking?" he asked "nevermind, it was a silly question." Plini looked at what the cook has to offer and soon enough he found what he needed "ok I'll be buying..."

  10. "Hmm?" Plini almost lowered his guard as he saw Shirogane shoo away the boar pups. It was an interesting effect, return damage. It would be viable for someone who is tanking shots but it seem to be not newbie-friendly. Add the unfortunate factor of the tusk nothing dropping anytime soon, Plini had to come up with something effective because clearly, Shirogane's shyness is enough to kill the boar pups.

The first boar he attacked tried to ram him with it's tusk but Plini shrugged it off and slashed at it with power enough to split it in half. The boar died but no tusk again, how sad. Plini sighed "we can always find another way to team up but for now..." he raised his Destrezas "try not to waste energy." It was what he could think of at the moment, now he needs to figure out how to land blows and get the last hit.

  11. One got struck, probably vented out it's frustration when obviously John can defend himself really nice. A lot of the players missed, best hope he doesn't. A quick twirl of his staff and he was ready to engage in battle again. "Observe them..." Plini watched as they attacked, trying to remember their names or coming up with some nicknames.

Nian got swiped, she(?) tried to retaliate but it failed. It wasn't even a blunder because of anger, luck just didn't kick in. An was already a few feet behind him and he wasn't sure whether she landed a blow or not "ok time to test a thrusting..." he placed the staff on his shoulder, holding one end and aiming the second to the beast.

The beast took a swipe at him too but Plini successfully dodged it of course, NIan already took the fall for them. "May I try to retaliate for you?" he told her as he continued to move forward. he spun around, keeping the aim of the staff at it's jaw. "Add more momentum and then..." Plini made a thrusting attack after the spin. A smack to the jaw, maybe not enough to knock it out but it won't tickle either. Plini raised the staff "... how's that for a revenge strike, milord?" he told her.

  12. Plini wasn't expecting Shirogane to actually be a bait for the mobs. "Woman are you..." he quickly left the place where he was facing the boar he struck earlier and dashed towards Shirogane. There was nothing special with the attack he made, he made a downward swing at the boar pups neck. It landed and he made sure that the boar would be dead with that strike. Both of them heard a squeal and then the creature shattered into fragments, the fate of every mob slain by the players.

The fight wasn't over yet for him, the boar from earlier was already charging towards Plini "tch, I got careless this time" he thought. The boar tried to ram him with its tusk but Plini was able to parry it with his curved sword. It missed by an inch and fortunately, none of them was damaged by that parry when it was redirected "Sorry Shiro, I have no AoE skill yet" he told her.

  13. Plini took a deep breath and gazed in front of him, it would be nice if they could try to take on a lot and get the tusk faster but he knew that his stats are not enough for it. "How about we take on two at once? I don't know if I can dodge fast enough yet but I'll try" he told her. It would be easier if Orca were here, she is strong-looking but Plini had a feeling that asking for her help holds dangers to his personal space.

He walked forward, finding the right targets, two boars, that should be enough "so? let's begin" he did it as fast as he could or how much can his stats allow him to. A boar pup was startled, anyone would be if they saw someone wielding an ornate curved sword with glaring eyes coming at them.

A clean-cut to the side landed perfectly. He was striving to keep it simple "it's all about the finesse of the movements and not the flashy stuff," he thought as he moved past it. Quite disappointing though because the boar pup managed to live with one health point left "tch" he muttered.

  14. There she is approaching...

Plini had been waiting for half an hour, he wasn't upset about it though. One has to understand certain things when it comes to setting up a... quest. He was already going to say it was a date as a joke but seeing how Shirogane seemed to be having thoughts about how to approach him was already enough for Plini to think that she would take it the wrong way and turn red. His curve swords strapped behind him, making sure he was no hostile. thinking about it, a lot of players are quite curious about how ornate his sword is.

It was meant to be, he was no fan of weapons with unique effects in them. All he wanted was the best armor he could craft or get for himself. "You must be Shirogane, I'm Plini..." he stretched his hand to her for a handshake "nice to meet you, relax yourself or you'll stiffen more" he added.

  15. How hard can it be? slaying boars was easy in this kind of set-up. That's what newbies would say as they venture out the settlement, brimming with positivity while being wary of the death game that is always encroaching on everyone. It's a slow and insidious killer that's why Plini is always wary of what may come his way when it comes to battling them. His first lesson was easy but that's because Orca was there, she kept him company. Some might think that she protected him by merely being there, scaring the low-level mobs that roam the area.

He wasn't sure about Shirogane though. He had always been setting up defenses when it comes to flirty women, don't be rude but also never give in to their wiles. He was thought by his older sister, at first it seemed like the three of them just joking around but it turns out, Plini can actually use what her sisters has been throwing as jokes at him. He wasn't gonna lump Shirogane in that category but he wanted to be careful. Orca was helpful but the woman kept on egging him and asking for a date. Shirogane would be no doubt helpful, he can only hope she's not going to be the "ara ara nee-san" that her sisters parodies.

  16. He looked at the things laid down before him. He was sure that he took an offer for a dangerous trip but it seems the guy was ahead of him in terms of thinking "probably a frontline player" he thought. He nodded as he listened to him, everything was true even if it stings. He was still on the low-level side of things and he was just lured in by how good the offers were for players like him. He wasn't expecting for Crozeph to be much more strict, he even wanted Plini to hit a hundred HP threshold.

Plini glanced at the list "Cintamani - buff potions, Yuki Izakaya - food buffs" he read them. "Are these good places to buy the things you listed? if so then I better get going..." he stood up and picked the three items, if he was to prove his worth for this small-time job then he has to be prepared like how their leader wants him to "finally something good for a start" he thought.

Description: A simple black, V-neck shirt that has "Alive Until Sunset" printed in front. It seems to be merchandise from a certain group which, unfortunately, we'll never know who.

  17. The gloomiest floor Plini has ever seen. It was as if a place where sad notes played on pianos were born. The aesthetic of the settlement impressed him though, he wasn't sure if Crozeph was Japanese or not but he had his tastes right. A few days ago his response to the offer was quite weird... because he received col from him. Something about preparations, it was already an interesting offer but he wasn't expecting a generous one.

He entered the shop after leaving his boots outside, can't have his kneecaps be busted before the quest. The place was warmer than the doom and gloom theme of Yomi "I got these equipments, they are unidentified but since I saw that you're a merchant then maybe you can identify it for me so I can use it in our expedition?" he told Crozeph.

  18. Feral, that was the first thing that came to his mind when the beast made its entrance. Not that the forest would be having only docile animals, He watched as the two girls in his team moved forward and joined combat. the ones who attacked earlier showed some skill, others were... flailing. would he be different? only he can know. The girl with the silver hair unleashed some kind of buff or effect that affected the whole party with an extra two people. He wasn't sure how it would work, he just has to try.

A dash forward, holding the staff as if it was some kind of sword with one hand. He wasn't used to the weight and right now he's trying to utilize it with what he's familiar with. A wide swing, aiming for the liver. It was a beast and he's sure that its organs are right where they should be, unless Aincrad is modifying the anatomy of these feral creatures.

Too strong of a swing, careless "reckless" he muttered to his blunder. A quick step shifting the weight of his body to stop the other end of the staff from hitting the silver-haired girl. He failed the attack on the beast but succeeded in not bludgeoning her. Plini fell on his back beside her "how the hell does Wukong pull it off?" he uttered as he stood up, calmly brushing off the leaves on his coat and twig in his hair.

  19. ID: 181475 LD: 11 [no materials found]

A disappointment that is still measurable but he didn't like it. Plini looked around him to see patches of dirt healing, he did all that a few minutes ago. He was digging through the dirt as if he was looking for a spider to fry and eat. He had no idea what the alchemist would need for crafting so the first thing that came to his mind was to dig some roots, and gather some herbs that fits the description of being "herbal" and call it a day.

That wasn't the case though. He looked around and saw poisonous plants, stabbed the ground and flung the dirt up only to find nothing. Maybe a try on combat? a killed animal would definitely yield something but would it be helpful for the alchemist? He could only hope. He picked up his sling bag and curved sword and began venturing in an open field, find some boar or larger than normal insects and see if he can hold his own against them.

  20. "Hello Dear, I see you are in need of a profession, may I interest you in Alchemy?" She smiles sweetly and leaves her tent, a small vial of rainbow colored liquid pulsating in her hand. "Now, I know it may seem very sciencey and scary, but I believe you can do it! And I hope you feel the same way." She beckons the player into her tent to show them the way she crafts, her movements are very elegant and precise, her age shows that she is very wise in what she is doing. "Now, I can teach you all about it sweety, but I seem to have ran out of some of my precious materials to give you a how-to on crafting, would you be a dear and run off to get me some? I think all I need is five, and I can help you on your way!" She smiles a sweet smile, she seems to be happy someone wants to follow in on her noble profession.

Plini was just looking for something to do that is related to what he is capable of, dabbling with toxic materials. In his unwanted stay in Aincrad, Plini caught scents that make him wretch and others that make him fall asleep. He saw mobs that secrete venom as players fought them and others seem to use some kind of chemical to enhance their capabilities in battle. This was fascinating and he wanted to know how it's done and he found it in this tent, well he didn't really enter.

He nodded as the woman who goes by the name Evangeline told him that she'll teach him if he looks for materials. "Are you related to Zackariah?" he asked as he turn around and see where he can start gathering materials. A simple task but Plini was sure of how RNG works in this game, especially to players like him who still haven't gotten their hands on some nice equipments.

    [Equipment]

    • Destrezas
      - A weirdly curved weapon, While it resembles a scimitar at first glance, the spikes that are placed as designs on the hilt act as a failsafe should the blade itself fail.
      - Vanity weapon
    • Urchin Jacket
-- Lined with designs as if it yellow colored paint dripped on it, the Urchin Jacket is enough to keep the wearer warm and sometimes the yellowish marks and stains act like a warning
to others like a defense mechanism.

  21. Two more people who knows something...

Plini placed the staff on his back as he followed the large group, whatever kind of quest or event this is, he knew that they had enough numbers to actually do a siege of a small castle. Sir John, the one who seemed to be some kind of charming fencer appeared before them and all of a sudden took the lead from Hannah "well, I wonder if his face is hard enough for this staff" he thought. Sure enough, Hannah wasn't backing down on the challenge of the forest and he agrees with her in terms of how it was going to be handled "she was the quest giver, Sir John may just..." another NPC chimed in to break the tension from the two "ahh the negotiator" he muttered.

The group continued on to the expedition after Andrey suggested for the single group to split and before Plini could ready himself, they were already at the destination or the doorway to it. He tilted his head as he stared at the darkness "yeah times like this I'd prefer..." he moved towards Hannah, keeping his distance from the hawk "... to go with a scout."

    Plini chose Hannah's group

Hannah  – 2/4 [Setsuna, Andromeda, Plini]
Sir John – 1/4 [Freyd, Nian]
    Andrey   – 1/4 [Koga]

  22. He must've been drunk or not paying attention, all of a sudden the crowd got a bit bigger. Players of different levels gathered where he went and asked for details about an event or quest, whatevr it was for him and them "I didn't trigger any event right?" he told himself as soon as he got what he needed to hear. Another guy appeared and stated that it was his business to know things happening around Aincrad "a private investigator? or maybe he's just trying to pull an Indiana Jones theme" he thought. He nodded at him and turned his attention to the woman clad in armor, beautiful. Plini looked at her as if he saw a knight and nodded his head to her. He could've said something but that would have to be stopped as soon as players began pouring in again.

Another woman, looks like someone who can kick his ass if he said the wrong greeting, weird assumptions but that'll do for now. A samurai joined in and somehow he felt relief "someone with a cutting edge weapon, maybe that'll make things go easy on this" Plini then was startled but another. "Commoner? make way? Kuzco?" Plini took a few steps back, it seems she had a little charisma with her to make him do that or... he's just trying to avoid unnecessary attention. A guy who asked if there are weird shit in the forest, a woman who seemed troubled or awkward, and another who seem to know the one who investigates stuff. Lastly, a girl who seem to be someone who would survive any winter the game would throw at her.

Now the briefing began and that moment Plini sighed, they don't need their own weapons. He was expecting some awesome slash moves from the samurai but it seems they have to cooperate with Hannah for this to succeed. He picked up a staff, it's weight was right. He could probably use the blunt edge to bludgeon anyone or stun them. "Ok, time to do some monk-ish moves with this weapon" he told himself as he followed the group.

    [Plini picked a staff]

  23. "Too high up" Plini muttered, scanning the area of any quests that a simpleton could do. Should there be none, he will resort to the normal material gathering. It has been years since they were inside the game and Plini was sure enough that everyone has already adapted to the lifestyle. Everyone might wear medieval equipments but the HUD and UI that they use sort of ruins the immersion.

"Why did I even went too high? I was supposed to do some errands" he told himself. The plaza was lively enough not to bore him and add to the presence of a red-haired girl who is armed with a bow and a hawk with her "we can use ranged weapons like bows here?" he thought. Plini walked slowly as he tried to eavesdrop on what the woman was saying "something something weird mobs in the forest something something" Plini wasn't sure why no one would take her easily yet, to him it was an opportunity though.

He walked closer, his usual garb of looking like some kind of alchemist or herbalist was quite obvious "you need some assistance? I can lend a hand" he told her, to which the woman replied with a smile. "Hello and thank you, I am Hannah and for that, I'm gonna have to fill you in with the details."
