  1.           If Kylissia really wanted to go beyond just surviving here in Aincrad, she would need to set goals for herself. First, she would need to get herself a statistical foothold and get herself situated, and find a build that suits her both in skill and aesthetic. Then, she would need to do what adventurers do: Seek out to carve a legacy by fighting against evil wherever it can be found. Killing monsters, looting treasure, helping those in need...once she manages to do enough of that, she might not need to grind as much if she could get herself into a stable position in life, where she wouldn't have to go too deep into adventuring to stay financially afloat and live comfortably in the process. Life in this game wouldn't be easy, certainly not at first. It would take time, planning, and effort.

...Now if she could just make some quicker progress in identifying possible materials with alchemical use...

  2.                      The conversation between Wulfrin and Zachariah gave some mild spoilage of the quest's plotline, it would seem that Zachariah was not the borrower. Nevertheless, the conditions of the quest would still need to be cleared. There were now far too many questions regarding Miryu, and Kylissia wondered exactly what happened...but there was not enough that Kylissia knew about Miryu and her predicament that would allow her to form a solid theory on the situation. The girl was an amnesiac, so regardless of whatever she'd done before, it was clear that she had little choice but to start over from scratch. Kylissia could only hope that she hadn't drawn the ire of anything too dangerous prior to her amnesia.

Thankfully, the trip to the gathering location would prove to be peaceful, and there were plenty of potential alchemy ingredients scattered around the area. Miryu found one sticking out like a sore thumb as an odd bloom out in a flower patch. Almina tried to see of the common flowers of the patch counted, but it looked like that wasn't the case. Kylissia spotted a strange looking plant from the corner of her eye, and upon plucking it, it appeared to be a medicinal herb of sorts. There's one, only four to go.

  3.                                          Wulfrin gave his theories and stated his concerns. that was all Kylissia needed to know. "Thank you for your thoughts, Wulfrin. It's good to know that I'm not alone in my concerns not just for Miryu, but the scenario as a whole."
When the two players reunited with the other half of their party, Miryu mentioned her screenshots, and how she couldn't make anything out from them.
"If you can't decipher them now, keep them. They might come in handy later, maybe they'll help you to remember something important, so I'd highly suggest that you don't delete them." Kylissia recommended, hoping that these screenshots might be able to help her at some point. She did not see the screenshots, but she might ask to see them later, just in case.

A mystifying scent awaited the players when they entered the shop. Zachariah greeted the players, but trailed off when he seemed to show a trace of recognition...but not for Wulfrin, who everyone knew had taken the quest before. While it was likely that due to the nature of the quest that he simply wasn't paying him any attention, it puzzled Kylissia that Zachariah seemed to wonder if he'd met Miryu before. This was concerning. What happened prior to Miryu arriving at the Town of beginnings as an amnesiac?

  4.                      Kylissia kept her eyes on Sotarou, and soon he would trip over a tree root...one that happened to have been in front of him, to boot. Kylissia could easily blame herself for this, as her teasing may have distracted his mind from being able to focus on his surroundings.

Kylissia rushed over to Sotarou to make sure he was okay. "Are you alright, Sota-kun?"
While she might potentially tone down the teasing, she certainly wasn't planning on dropping the nickname anytime soon.
She helped the man up, and checked his head for any concussions, though it was unlikely in a game like this, not to mention the pain dampener reduced pain to a slight tingle. It seemed that Sotarou had found a treasure chest hidden in the tree roots. Kylissia would proceed to pull it out and open it up.
"Seems to be a pretty small cache." Kylissia observed as she looked over the contents. "Which of these would you like to be your share of it?" She asked.

  5.                         What a mystery Miryu was becoming...and that tremor, it actually happened. This girl would need protection one way or another. With all that was happening, it was too much to be a coincidence. Something was going on...and Miryu happened to be the only one who saw the mysterious armored figure that the wolves from earlier had ran from...and if that tremor rumor was true, and Kylissia wasn't imagining things...would Miryu somehow be mixed up in it all? Being an amnesiac, she's not likely to know how she may be connected if that happens to be the case. All that would be left to do if this odd thought crossing Kylissia's mind turns out to be true, is to guard her and guide her...as she'll need to figure it out because it would be coming for her.

Outside the Cartography shop, Wulfrin was waiting. Miryu would let him know what she'd learned. "Wulfrin," Kylissia began. "Could you come with me for a quick moment? There's something I need to discuss with you before we begin." She requested. She looked to the other two girls. "We'll be right back." She assured, before bringing her arm around Wulfrin's shoulder and nudging him to move away from the current vicinity with her..

Once the two pinkettes were out of earshot and sight, Kylissia would ask a question, a solemn, concerned expression on her face. "Did you happen to hear or feel a tremor, by any chance? There happened to be one several hours ago, even the NPCs seem to be talking about it, and even mentioning odd structures coming out of the ground." She would wait for a response before continuing. "Strange entities, odd structures, unexpected tremors...and soon after the tremor, an amnesiac enters the Town of Beginnings..." She continued, noting her observations. "I worry for Miryu. What do you make of it all?" She asked.

  6.                Miryu's response to Kylissia was genuine. She truly had Amnesia. Kylissia's expression was solemn. "I see...You're going to need plenty of help to get back up on your feet." She began. She then pulled up her menu to send Miryu a Friend Request. "If you ever need some help or a guiding hand, just send me a message and I'll come for you." This girl needed someone to help her, and Kylissia's occasional habits of being the big sister figure kicked in. Wulfrin would explain the situation to Miryu, and Almina would add a missed, yet equally important detail into the explanation. Wulfrin then explained his plan for how the players would be going to Tolbana. Kylissia nodded her head. "I will give my all in that effort should I be needed." She would equip her armor before the players left the safe zone.

Wulfrin muttered something under his breath, while Almina began to wonder where in Tolbana the party could find the Cartographer. Then it was noticed that Miryu wasn't currently walking with the rest of the party. The wolves that the players had passed by must have been looking at whatever Miryu saw, and they ran off in a dash. Miryu herself then looked back to the party and ran to catch up. Almina asked if she was alright and if she saw anything. Clearly she'd seen something, given that the wolves had looked in the same direction that Miryu was looking before they bolted for it. The question, however, was why. Kylissia would remain silent for now, waiting to see what Miryu would say. The party wasn't far from Tolbana, so hopefully they wouldn't have to deal with any encounters at all.

  7.                                Kylissia nodded slowly as the situation began to piece together in her mind, though not everything that was said was making any sense.

Wulfrin would bring the three to a tavern, and Kylissia suppressed a smirk as she kept down the urge to make a remark on this. She couldn't stop herself from thinking the remark, however. "Taking three girls to a Tavern, hm?" She thought. "Are you hoping to buy all three of us dinner or something?" She was unable to suppress her smirk at that point. She was thinking something, but she didn't say it outright due to the implications it would leave. There would be more confusion after Wulfrin pulled out his map to show the route, for Miryu attempted to copy him, but...when Kylissia took a look at both maps, Miryu's didn't make sense. Kylissia had seen her own map before, and it matched Wulfrin's. The fact that Miryu's did not was...concerning, to say the least. Even an NPC came by to point it out, though they also mentioned a potential solution to the problem somewhere in Tolbana.

When Wulfrin asked for a show of hands for who hadn't taken the quest, all three of the women present raised their hands. Kylissia would be the second to speak, nearly deadpanning as she did so upon raising her hand. "I've been looking for it for a few months now. Clearly I've been looking in the wrong place all this time, seeing that I haven't found it yet. Otherwise it wouldn't have mattered how large and sprawling this Town is, I would have found it and cleared it at that point." She explained.

When Miryu spoke, her confused situation began to cause what didn't make sense before to start making sense now. Kylissia's expression returned to one typical of her as the situation for all four players present had practically laid itself down for them.
                First, she looked to Almina.
"Almina, regardless of how you handled things in the past, we now have this present to work with. It's like living a second life, so sometimes you'll need to take the bull by the horns." She remarked, hoping this will help her in the future if she really wasn't used to looking for trouble, when doing that is the very basis of this game. No matter what life you wanted to live, you had to deal with a little something first.
Then, she looked to Miryu. This would be serious, as there was no room to sugar coat it. Miryu's response, be it in her tone, her body language, or both, would determine which of the two possibilities it was that could explain how she was acting.
"And Miryu..." She began. "...You can't remember anything, can you?"
Miryu was either acting childishly, or she legitimately had Amnesia. The only reason Kylissia silently questioned the possibility is because of how unlikely it was that she might receive such an affliction in the state that her real body was in. Miryu's brain would have to have endured some form of trauma that brought her to lose all that memory. Thus, how Miryu would respond would be the deciding factor. Would she have the proper response and realization, or would Kylissia see the eyes of a liar?

Regardless of the result, Kylissia would then gesture to Wulfrin. "Wulfrin here has offered us a solution to our situations, as they all involve Tolbana and the First Lessons." This was an opportunity for all three players that would be foolish to pass up. "So then it's settled." Kylissia began. "Wulfrin will escort us to Tolbana, and he may join us along the lessons if he wishes to. With our numbers, I doubt we have a high chance of failure."

  8.                               When Wulfrin introduced himself and explained the situation, the next thing to occur was confusion. Not over the introduction, but over the girl with him that he'd intended to help out, who asked about Tolbana as if it were a person, rather than a place. Given the fact that this player had successfully taken the quest, should his word be true, it would at least explain why Kylissia hadn't found the quest herself yet. "Tolbana is a walled town, and creatures tend to spawn within the road from here to there, though most of them are of neutral temperament and will leave you alone if you leave them alone." Kylissia explained. "Despite my level, I've proven to be able to take nearly no damage at all from enemies up to third level, thanks to the armor I wear whenever I'm outside the safe zone. If a trip there is necessary, I'm sure we can survive it if we do run into one of the occasional hostile monsters." She added, hoping to reassure the players present in case the mention of another town and the fact that the space between the two settlements was not a safe zone. The male player seemed to know his way around, but in all honesty, it was just far too sudden and convenient. She intended to help, all right, but it was mainly to reassure the safety of the players along the way, before joining in on the quest. "I'm Kylissia." She began as she gracefully placed a hand onto herself in gesture. "I might be similar to the rest of you now, but if you need a protector or a helping hand, I can offer what assistance I can."

  9.                                      Kylissia woke up in the morning, mentally ready for the day, for she was itching to have something other than a typical day. She then started putting on her usual Safe Zone Outfit. She first put on her dress, which was carnation pink in color, with a Scoop neckline and butterfly sleeves, and a short ruffled skirt, with the hem being at the waist. She then put on her white leather jacket, which complimented the outfit well. She also now wore carnation pink wedges with a pair of white thigh high stockings. She then put on the necklace she'd bought from a local artisan, crafted from fine silver, with clear gemstones dangling along the center in a semicircle, the exact center having a gemstone that matched her aquamarine eyes.
Kylissia would then check her hair and face in the mirror to make sure she was ready. She was the kind of woman who saw nothing wrong with always wanting to look her best, after all.

After looking around the Town of Beginnings for a while, she happened upon the Market Plaza of the settlement, which seemed to be active with an ongoing flea market. This has happened before, and it was actually how she was able to find the piece of Jewelry that was now a part of her Safe Zone Outfit. There didn't seem to be anything else of note, until excitement knocked on Kylissia's doorstep. The sounds of shock and startling caught her attention, in which she'd see a girl crash into a tree, and then a pair of players that she'd then greet, possibly out of embarrassment over what just happened.
When Kylissia approached the scene, the first thing she would notice is that, once again, she was taller than the other players who were present, not that she minded this, of course.
"Is everything alright here?" She asked, curiosity and intrigue in her eyes. "I was wondering if this day would come along with some excitement...say, do any of you have any plans? There's this quest that's been waiting to be cleared and I've grown tired of doing nothing about it." She added.

  10.                       "Oh, my~" Kylissia thought. "Someone's nervous...have I gotten to him?" She wondered, reveling in the thought of possibly having gotten to him so easily. Sotarou had proven himself to be unnerved just by his reaction alone. The question was, had he become scared or infatuated? Both, perhaps? Maybe Kylissia was reading into it too much...but now she was curious about him. She wanted to know more about him, especially now that in her mind, she saw him as...easy. It was tempting to make a real attempt, but she was far from that position, she didn't know enough about him just yet to know if he'd be worth it.

And the only way to know more for sure would be to continue traveling with him, be his ally, invite him to hang out with her, even if others had to be involved, learn more about him. He had her curiosity, she'd found him endearing. All that's left now is to take a step back, and take her time to gauge the scenario and the possible outcomes from here. "Very well," she began. "If there's a need to talk, I'm here." She noted, with an interested gaze and a caring smile.

Kylissia noticed that Sotarou's attention seemed to be waning, so she decided to keep her eyes peeled and remain vigilant for his sake, that nothing hostile would catch him off guard. She'd gone and teased him, which may have resulted in the state he's in, so she should take responsibility for her actions and make sure he's safe.

  11.                           Oh...the look on his face...adorable and priceless. "Oh, how cute!" Kylissia thought. "My words dug right down to him, and the way he's blushing...!"
Kylissia loved seeing how people reacted to her whenever she took opportunities to flirt or tease, she found it all endearing. She'd been close to having a lover or two before, and she loved nothing more then making their hearts melt...and she was very fond of people she believed to be endearing. As endearing as Kylissia currently thought Sotarou to be, there was the reality that the two were merely acquainted, and to try for affecting his heart fully may be too soon. She was just enjoying her playful antics for the time being...nothing truly serious...

Kylissia noticed further evidence of how she'd affected him thus far, in how the boy kept looking back to her. So she wanted to see how he was holding up. "Sota-kun," She began. "Are you alright? You seem a little uneasy..." She waited for a second or two to see if he'd turn his eyes back towards her again. "What's on your mind, is something bothering you?" She added, slowly batting her eyes once or twice.

Now to see what happens next...

  12.               Sotarou's impressive attack would damage both of the remaining wolves. One was slain, and the other was barely alive due to the amount of damage it had, leaving red marks that probably signaled grievous wounds on it. Sotarou offered for Kylissia to finish it, as well as a nickname option as well. "Kyli, hmm? I like it, it's a cute nickname." She thought. Now she wanted to do something for Sotarou. Considering his username and appearance, one easily came to mind...
Looking to him with intrigued yet sultry eyes, and a grin that was warm yet somewhat playful, she placed her left index finger under her lips. "No worries, I don't mind. I don't mind at all...Sota-kun~"

She then turned her gaze to the wolf, ready to deal the finishing blow. With a swift swing and a cut from her blade, the wolf was slain without a chance to make an attack of its own. "Hm, not nearly as rough as those that came before you, I see." She remarked as the fallen wolf shattered.

  13.                       Kylissia chuckled, nearly a full-on laugh, as once again there was miscommunication. "Oh trust me, I haven't forgotten. I simply think there are more canine creatures that are potential familiars on this floor rather than the common wolf, is all, and some of them may be less aggressive than what we've just battled with." She noted, hoping to reassure him that she hadn't lost sight of his goal for the day. "Though I have my doubts that larger creatures like the dire wolves will be possible to ally with, from what I've heard, familiars all tend to be smaller..."

Kylissia chuckled at Sotarou's remark of how the playerbase may get too used to this life by the time they return to the real one. "It's possible, there's only one way to find out..."

Then more roaring wolves appeared. "Think they were in the same pack or family as the others? They don't seem to appreciate that we exist..." Kylissia remarked. She drew her blade, and made her attack after Sotarou had made his. Kylissia's sword was dodged by two of the Roaring Wolves, but the other two were not so fortunate. One was badly wounded with a major strike, while the other was stricken down by the end of her attack. The two wolves that Kylissia had missed immediately rushed towards Sotarou, and Kylissia prepared herself for the one whose ire she'd drawn. The attack had done hardly anything against her, and the thorns damage slayed the monster.
Did the loot menu appear to show Kylissia what she'd gained from this wolf that had brought its own demise upon itself? Yes. Of course, for some odd reason, the loot also showed up physically, a small sack that kept up the momentum of the fallen entity that carried it, crashing into Kylissia's face so suddenly. There wasn't any damage, but it was definitely unexpected.

  14.                                   Kylissia understood what Sotarou meant. Of course, the mind was always the strongest tool of a human being, it could understand how a world works, and either create or find, then utilize something that allows them to affect the world around them to their benefit. This game was no different in terms of how the mind could survive out here. Make use of the skills, professions, and systems of the game, that they may be used to your advantage...of course, there was indeed something in charge that would probably notice if something ever got too broken.

"Well, this is one of the largest floors in the game, so it's likely that there will be plenty of different creatures roaming around, especially if we go deeper into the wilds...not that we should go too far, since we can tangle with this floor's common creatures, but little else." Kylissia explained when Sotarou considered searching in a different spot. "Since you want to find something to tame and ally with, it may be best you look for a creature with a neutral temperament, if not friendly. Hostile creatures, just like in any other game, will attack if you get too close or enter their line of sight. Approach slowly, see if it's willing to let you come near it or if it doesn't feel like letting a player near it. Observe its stance, is it wary or aggressive?" She added, essentially considering thoughts and rubber ducking the scenario based on what happened earlier.

  15.        Trees were everywhere on this floor, not much stone to find and break down... While it was true that there are some more organically sourced parts for trinkets that exist, Kylissia would need precious stones and metals for the profession she was aiming for. She looked around the area as Sotarou was trying to cut a tree down with a katana...unless the world and weapon logic was the same as that in Breath of the Wild, that wasn't likely to work. Just as Kylissia noticed an odd stone nestled at a tree trunk, Sotarou made his attempt, but the entire tree was destroyed. Kylissia felt sorry for the boy and his dismal luck.

"Sometimes the strength of the katana is precision, rather than raw power, so I've heard." Kylissia chimed in. "Of course, not every tool is fit for every task, and not every tool is a weapon." She added, pulling out a small hammer tool from her inventory. She brought it close to the stone, waved it a little towards and away from the stone, then with a solid swing, the stone crumbled to pieces and a Lapis gemstone was uncovered for Kylissia to take. "Unfortunately I don't have any tools for woodcutting on me, I'd have done what I could to help if I were able to."

  16.                              Kylissia was learning more and more about this boy the more she stuck around him. He was hopeful and intelligent, but terribly unlucky. He would not like Gacha Games...

Oddly enough, Sotarou seemed to have the impression that Kylissia was aiming for a Tank Build. "Oh, the Thorns? I have that on my armor because it can't use Evasion properly, I'm more of a damage dealer myself, the armor was just personal choice." Kylissia explained. "I'll definitely think about my build as I improve, of course, so maybe someday." She added.

He really wanted to make equipment for her, and Kylissia, while not saying it outright, was interested as to why. Was it a move to promote his business, an offer to help...or was there something else motivating him? She would figure this out eventually, one way or another. Who knows, if she adventured with this boy enough, maybe she could figure out why he was so lacking in his luck...

  17.                         Kylissia focused on climbing up and getting back onto solid ground while Sotarou attempted another attack. Once she'd managed to climb up and gat a footing, she noticed the wolf dodge Sotarou's attack...
             This was her chance.
Kylissia wasted no time in activating her sword art. Her weapon glowed, she took position to swing...

    "Peekaboo."
The wolf turned it's head just to meet Kylissia's weapon head on, it would not be around to see tomorrow.

Kylissia sheathed her weapon, now that all active enemies were slain. She sighed contently. "Well, that was a little fun, at least for me...though I really didn't appreciate that cliff scare...I should probably prepare myself and train further, if I'm do deal with more clever enemies like that little one later on..." She remarked. She then looked to Sotarou. "Are you alright? You're not too rattled, are you?" She asked, her expression leaking out some concern for the boy.

  18.                        This wolf was a clever one, being able to tangle with Kylissia in a way that kept it from taking too many hits...but it's HP drained anyway because there was nothing it could do to prevent the thorns damage it suffered with each successful hit.

However, based on what happened next, it seemed like it was taking this problem into account and trying to make a last ditch effort to give itself a small chance of winning. The wolf began to circle around Kylissia, who just stayed on guard, waiting for the opportunity to strike where an opening is. The wolf gave itself a false opening, and Kylissia activated her sword art. The wolf jumped out of harm's way, and attempted a charge attack at Kylissia from behind.

How far have the players gotten away from the safe zone again? Ah, that's right, they were just getting past the other end of the bridge, the gap was still nearby...and the wolf's attack propelled Kylissia towards it. She grabbed hold of a large root sticking out of the ground, keeping her from having to deal with a fall into whatever was below. The wolf walked up to the edge, huffed at Kylissia, probably with the assumption that she wouldn't be getting up anytime soon, and then it turned its attention to Sotarou, despite becoming weary from the damage it has suffered from the thorns enhancement of Kylissia's armor.

"I'm fine, finish it off while you can! I'll try to climb back up!" Kylissia called out. Once again, she'd been both lucky and unlucky at the same time. This wasn't new, but it was starting to happen more than usual since she'd been in this game.

  19.                      The wolf looked to Kylissia after Sotarou spoke, it was probably making a connection to the situation...that is, that's what Kylissia had guessed when the wolf caught her blade in its jaw when she attempted to attack. "Oh...so you want to play then, do you?" She remarked, as her eyes narrowed and a smirk formed on her face. Taking full grip of the hilt, she was ready to keep this from going to the wolf's advantage. "Very well then, let's play!" She said as she began to swing around, to the point where the wolf could no longer hold a grip on her weapon, being flung a fair distance in meters. It tumbled as it landed on the ground, and it had some difficulty getting up, proceeding to try and shake itself off afterward. It must have been dizzy from this.

Hopefully this would give Sotarou the opportunity he needed to finish it off.

  20.                 Kylissia wrenched her weapon free from the tree, just in time to witness Sotarou's sword art. Impressive as it was, it was apparently dodged. Both wolves remained. Kylissia took a second to plan out her movements, wondering how would be the best way to defeat them. When Kylissia activated her sword art, the larger wolf was preparing another attack against Sotarou. The other wolf dodged her attack, mainly because her focus shifted to the more immediate threat.
Kylissia's weapon hacked, slashed and struck the larger wolf before it could reach Sotarou, and her weapon was nearly embedded in the monster.
    "Down, boy."
The wolf crumpled to the ground, and shattered. Another wolf down.

The sound of vengeful snarling caught Kylissia's attention, and she turned around to see the wolf that had nothing left to lose. "You want to avenge the others, don't you? Well, that's your choice, I suppose... If you'd rather die fighting than die 'cowardly', I can grant your wish." She remarked. As if in response, the wolf charged towards Kylissia, but as soon as it made its attack, it yelped out from the thorns damage, and tried to shake off the damage.

  21.                  Sotarou's attack caused the wolves to split their gazes of aggression. One of the wolves was killed, three remained. Kylissia would take this chance to attack while they were disoriented. The greater wolf would once again leap out of harm's way, but one of the wolves was not so lucky, and met its end at Kylissia's blade. One wolf turned out to be a bit more clever, waiting for Kylissia to reach it, before leaping backwards, in which her weapon would get stuck in a tree.

Kylissia let out a strained grunt as she struggled to try and free her weapon. She was able to use her right leg to keep this wolf at bay, ready to disrupt its attempt to attack...but Kylissia couldn't stop the greater wolf. She looked behind her to notice the monster charging at Sotarou. "Sotarou, look out!"
Kylissia winced when she witnessed the impact of the attack, but at least his HP didn't drop too low. The best she could do at this moment was keep the other wolf at bay while trying to get her weapon out of this tree trunk...

  22.                          Kylissia watched the enemies appear. It was clear they'd figured out their surprise had failed. The aggressive gaze of the monsters, their healthy appearance, despite their yellowed fur...if this game was as lifelike as it was claimed to be, then they weren't exactly hungry. Of course, carnivorous animals and predatory hunters could still be hostile to travelers if they felt threatened or were too territorial for their own good. Regardless of which possibility it was, the pack's leader did not look willing to let the players have a chance to leave their hunting grounds.

Kylissia drew her blade, she knew something like this would happen eventually. "Since you won't let us pass, I suppose I might as well deal with you bad boys..." She remarked with a smirk. Rushing forward, she moved along the enemy line in a crescent curve as her blade rapidly cut through them. Two of them managed to barely dodge the attack, but the other two were not so lucky, yelping as Kylissia's weapon left gashes on them, marked by the game simply as glowing red lines on their being. The four wolves all turned their gaze to Kylissia, snarling as they now considered her to be a major threat to them. Kylissia knocked one off course with her leg, but was unable to keep the other three from dealing damage to her. The largest of the four was able to deal more damage against Kylissia than the other two, who yelped and shook their heads after their attacks.

Kylissia turned her attention to the larger one who'd struck her with a critical attack. "Well now, you're a bit better than the usual critters coming my way..." She thought aloud. With a soft chuckle, she smiled. Her HP had taken damages, yes, but it wasn't halfway just yet. "Sotarou, I've got their attention, strike them now!" She called out to her ally.

  23.                  Crossing the bridge, which appeared to be outstretched tree trunks that crossed over the gap to the other side, would be how the two players left the safe zone, it seemed. The safe zone's guards looked at the players as the two passed the border, looking upon them as though they were an unusual sight. The guards didn't appear to be human, so it made enough sense, maybe humans were rare on this floor within its lore. Kylissia simply smiled warmly and waved as she kept walking alongside Sotarou.

After crossing the natural bridge, Kylissia would take in the sight of her surroundings. A dense forest awaited the players, and there were likely to be many creatures hiding within, friendly, passive, neutral and hostile alike. It was a lush wilderness. Surely there had to be many wonders in this world, and it was simply one among a hundred. The Cardinal had better not disappoint her...
Her focus shifted back to the moment in an instant, at a sudden sound.
                      *Snap*

Kylissa stopped. "Sotarou, did you hear that?" She asked, her eyes narrowing slightly as she began to look around slowly, in the general direction of the sound. Was if from something friendly, or unfriendly? While Kylissia was fine with either at the moment, she'd rather not be struck by a surprise attack.

  24.                            Kylissia listened carefully and attentively to Sotarou's answer. "Aww, how sweet..." Kylissia remarked. "I've got a good feeling about this day...I'm sure you'll find the Koba of this world, Sotarou, no doubt." She added with a gentle, warm smile, assuring him that this day would be a success.

Sotarou turned to look at the safe zone's exit, and thought aloud to himself as he took deep breaths. Kylissia silently listened, as the boy revealed more about his past within this game. Individuals in black cloaks...they must have been a unified outfit of sorts; a Guild or organization. Kylissia still had no clue if they were attacking at random, or if they had targeted Sotarou and his friend specifically for some unknown purpose, but it was enough to keep a sense of caution, even she wouldn't let it show.

Sotarou asked if there was anything the players could do while they were out and about, something to do alongside the search. Kylissia looked to the horizon ahead. The forests that sprawled beyond the safe zone were surely filled to the brim with wild creatures, a number of which were probably also monsters. "I'm actually not certain, this is my first time on the third floor. I suppose I'll just be keeping my eyes open, whether for materials lying around, or hostile creatures hoping to get the jump on us." Kylissia answered. "And on that note..."
Kylissia accessed her menu, then the equipment tab. With a tap on <<Equip>> when selecting her combat apparel, her equipment would instantly swap in the blink of an eye, from her casual safe zone outfit, to her battle ready armor, a simple yet pristine set that fit her very well, and what little sunlight got through the trees bounced off her armor in a way that gave the illusion that her armor was radiating an aura of sunlight. Brushing some of her blonde locks to the side, she then looked to Sotarou. "So, shall we set off, then?" She asked with a smirk filled with anticipation, her eyes glistening with great expectations for the journey ahead.
