[SP - F1] The Grind! <<Secret Medicine of the Forest>> Round 2

Alright. He was only one point away from being able to upgrade his dagger skill to the next rank. Of all the available quests, the Secret Medicine of the Forest one was by far the easiest. Back when he first started he might have feared such things, but now they were jokes. Killing them would be as easy as stepping on ants. Wandering into a familiar forest on the first floor, he was ready to start the assault. First and foremost, he'd need to locate the pests. Seeing as how they were plants, it might take a while to pick them out of the foliage that was the forest. At times he hated this game for forcing him to do these things, but it was necessary to move forward.

The forest had been peaceful for the most part. He could easily see minor mobs wandering around, but didn't bother wasting time on them. The main event on today's menu were the little nepents. He was sure they'd be easy to destroy as each one only had minimal health to support them. Grinding like this wasn't something he particularly enjoyed, but again was necessary for those extra bits of experience. How could anyone pass up such an easy task? Especially when they were so close to achieving their goals. He'd simply suck it up and continue the search with that in mind.

There it was! The first little nepent had entered his field of vision, bouncing about and blissfully unaware of the fate it was about to receive. The resulting clash wasn't even a fight. Seul had ran forward with his dagger and didn't even need to waste energy on a sword art. He poked the thing with his weapon and it exploded into pixels moments later. It was almost sad how quickly it died, but there were still two more out there that he needed to off for quest completion.

He didn't care anymore. He just wanted to be done with the godforsaken task and be I on his way with the next rank of sword arts under his belt. The next nepent was upon him and like before he rushed forward with his dagger raised. This one had been cautious as it evaded the strike quite nicely before moving in to attack him for itself. The damage he received was minor and would heal back soon, but it was still annoying to have to be abused by trash mobs such as these.

The energy and health that had been lost quickly returned thanks to his enhancements and in the next instant the little nepents was dead and exploding into pixels. "Too easy..." He yawned while lazily continuing on down the forest path. Did he really used to think these things were a threat? The notion seemed s laughable now. This must have been what the higher level players felt like while doing these missions. He was by no means high leveled, but this still was ridiculously easy.

The final stage had been set. In the forest clearing there had been an army of little nepents, all seeming to be waiting for someone to arrive. There were around ten or so and each was closing in quickly on him. It was time to fight. To be known as the nepents murderer! Using his concentration skill, he activated the Round Accel and sent two tempests hurling toward the amy from both sides. Four of them died and the remaining six were no match for a combination of Seul's speed and shield work.

Using his keen enhancement he was able to rush forward into the swarm and start picking them off. Where those five had fallen, five more sprang from the surrounding shrubbery to take their place. Even so, none were able to lay any vines on the boy as he darted by. "Come on, you're not even trying!" He mocked. However many they threw his way, he'd kill them all. They were nothing to him. Nothing except obstacles between him and his points.

"So that's how we're going to play then!" He called while launching another Round Accel into the crowd. Four more little nepents went down, but the remaining ones took turns lash Seul's body with their vines. His health had sustained quite a bit of damage. Power in numbers, despite the individual nepents not hitting hard at all, together they could pack a real punch. He only renewed his focus and raised his shield, ready to kill off more that would probably show up.
