[SP-F1] Why didn't I take this Sooner??? <<Secret Medicine of the Forest>> (COMPLETED)

Recommended Posts

Hikoru sighed as he scrolled through the avaliable quests that he had not yet done yet. A lot of the quests that were available were meant for higher leveled players, and while he was only at level 15, they were unable to be avaliable to him to beat without another player with him to help him. More likely an over-leveled one. He sighed as he scrolled lower and lower, until he saw a Quest that he had completely missed. It was called <<Secret Medicine of the Forest>> He looked at the mobs info, and saw that they had very small stats. He groaned and covered his eyes in small embarassment. How could he miss such an easy Quest. He sighed and swiped on the help board, then stopped. He could do this with one hand tied behind his back.

"I really don't need help. " He said as he closed the menu and made his way to the exit of his shop and locked it up for the day, making his way to the town teleporter and making his way to the first floor, walking to the exit of the town and towards the forest in which he had to take this quest.

Hikoru walked along the road, already feeling bored with what he was going to do. He knew he could finish off these enemies easily, so he might as well enjoy his time on the first floor. He walked and went over to the Monument of Life, looking for and finding every single one of his friends names, smiling widely with happiness. All his friends were fine, and that made him feel amazing. He sighed and continued on, heading for his destination.

Hikoru walked along the forest until he came along one of the creatures he was seeking. He sighed and unsheathed his dagger, running up and hoping to see if he could hit these tiny creatures. He caught them off guard and he easily finished them off. He smiled as his Sword Art, Armor Pierce activated, beating both of the creatures at once. He gave a small smile and continued moving forward

Hikoru moved along and came along another one, but this one was unique. This was the one he was looking for He sighed and just laughed "This is just too easy." he thought to himself as he gripped his Dagger and moved in for the kill. He quickly finished it off with one of his stronger sword arts, Side Bite. He smirked and sheathed his Dagger, feeling proud of what he had done and how quickly he had finished the quest

Hikoru wandered back into town, smiling as he had finished this quest easily, and found no more reason to be in the woods any longer. He sighed and looked around the first floor, seeing if there were any new things that he had missed. As he looked, he saw a small tavern that he hadn't noticed before. He entered the tavern and sat at the bar. He looked at the bartender and gave him a nod. The bartender came over and looked at him, giving him a nod

"One water please." He said simply. The bartender nodded and went over to get his drink He wasn't a big drinker, so he decided to stick with simple things, be it water or milk, or something of the sorts. He breathed out and sighed, waiting for his drink to arrive

The Bartender came over and handed him his water, and he gave a small nod and took a small sip of his glass. He sighed and set it down afterwards, looking around the tavern. It seemed like a normal tavern, wood walls and floors, and stone-lined windows. He grabbed his drink and turned in his seat, leaning on the bar and looking at the area around him. It seemed.... Homey, it reminded him of his home back in the real world, and it made him a bit homesick. He sighed and finished his drink, leaving a few Col on the counter next to his cup, then left the Tavern quietly.

Hikoru walked around the town, enjoying the scenic view of the first town. It brought him a lot of nostalgia, and it brought him back to when he was level 1, and first exploring the world. He sighed and went to the middle of town, back to the Monument of Life where he stood for a moment and enjoyed the look of all the players he had seen. He sighed sadly as he looked around, and saw some player's names crossed out, indicating their death. He held his breath for a moment, looking to see if one of them was his brother's. He sighed in relief as it wasn't. He sat down at a nearby bench, and stared up at the sky, glad that his brother had not yet died

Hikoru sighed and got up, and left the town quickly. He had decided to just go and grind on some boars and try to find some mats around for the rest of the day. He looked around, and hoped that his ring would be able to help him find some new materials that he needed. He sighed as he tried to find something, but he couldn't anywhere near him. He breathed and continued on into the fields, seeing if he could find anything else.

Hikoru continued to search around, to see if he could find anything. He flipped over rocks and checked in cracks around the roots of trees, to see if he could find anything that he needed. As he did, he saw a boar around a tree. He quickly drew his Dagger and killed it, not even giving it time to react. He smiled and grabbed the material that had dropped from the weak mob, and he pocketed them silently and continued forward

Hikoru continued to search the area around him, and went to see if he could find anything in the area around him, or any mobs to slay. As he searched, it brought back memories of when he had first slain a boar, with his friends. Kiru, Noctis... Ariel... He blushed and cleared his head. He had to focus, and get things for him to use later in the game. But in his confusion of feelings he was unable to find anything, and sighed, tapping the top of his head lightly. Now was not the time to be losing focus. Now was to pay attention and receive my new goals by working for them

Hikoru sighed and continued to walk the path he was taking into the wilderness. He breathed and decided to focus on this task, and prepare himself to go back to his allies. He planned to look for loot for the rest of the day, then he would be more prepared to finish buying his new armor and weapons that he would need to become what he was training to become. He breathed and continued to search, seeing if any mobs or materials would appear around him. He sighed as nothing seemed to appear around him, and he decided to move to another area, to see if he would get any luckier in a place he hadn't explored yet

Hikoru continued to search, moving to a new area bit by bit. He knew that he would eventually find more. More col and materials would be good, but he would have to get lucky. Really, really lucky he thought with a laugh. Even with his Lucky Ring, he was having a difficult time finding Materials and Col. He sighed and continued looking, not giving up yet. But sadly, he still wasn't finding anything. He sighed and continued moving, not giving up until the sun started to set

Hikoru sighed as he was now in a new area. He hoped that this would help his search, as he wasn't having any luck in the area he had just previously been in. He decided to keep moving and searching, as he knew that he would eventually find something in these fields. As He searched, he saw two small boars ahead of him. He ran and did a slash in the air, sending a small tempest to the both of the creatures, finishing them off quickly. He smiled and gathered the Materials that the two creatures had dropped and decided to keep moving

Hikoru continued on his search. He was already having more luck here than he was having previously. He searched around, hoping that his luck would continue in this area as he continued to walk around. He saw two more boars and did another quick swipe in the air and finished them off quickly. He smiled and continued forwards, enjoying the Mat's that the creatures dropped

Hikoru continued on. He was having a lot of luck in this area, and he was enjoying the feel of being able to handle himself on these weaker mobs without a hassle. It made him feel proud, and almost nostalgic from the last time he had trouble with a mob was with his friend Takneil when they had to call their friend Cal to help them to not die from a Wolf. He laughed at the problem as he continued to look for mobs or Materials, enjoying the memories of his past. He found two more boars and did another swipe, then sat down for a moment, wanting to wait for his Energy to replenish.

Hikoru sighed and stared up at the sky. He had enjoyed this adventure, as it had brought him back to when it first started. He breathed in and out, feeling his energy slowly refill and enjoying the feel of the grass on his body. He breathed and watched the clouds, enjoying the feeling of sitting still. It was times like these that he enjoyed, and he wished that he could go back to times like this, where he could enjoy being alone, and getting to enjoy the feeling of calm

Hikoru stood up and decided to keep looking around for just materials. He knew he wouldn't be able to fight for awhile, but he knew he could find materials without having to fight boars around him. He breathed in and decided to search around a few more times before heading to a the towns in for the night. He looked at the sun, and saw that it was to soon set. He grit his teeth and picked up the pace, not wanting to waste any more time. He saw a boar, and just sighed. He might as well not miss a chance to get one more Material. It seemed to be a baby, with less health than the other mobs. He charged and just did a simple swipe, finishing it off without a single glance.

Hikoru sighed and gave up. He was done with searching, and he was too tired to keep going. He went back into town, stopping back into the tavern he had been at earlier that day. He stopped at the bar and gave the bartender a nod, and the bartender gave him another nod, bringing him a glass of simple water. Hikoru lifted his cup in a cheer and sipped it silently. He sighed and looked around, enjoying the feel of this bar. He finished his drink and left, leaving a few Col on the bar and leaving silently, breathing in the cool evening air and making his way around the town

He breathed and went to the nearby inn, talking to the girl at the counter and renting a room for the night. He walked up the stairs and opened up his room, entering and closing the door, locking it behind him. He sighed and walked to the window, looking out to the world beyond. The level went for miles and miles of fields, endless searching and endless grinding for players to enjoy, and if as strong as he was, easy material gathering and relaxing all day. He breathed and enjoyed the view, happy that this Quest had gone so well, and that he had gained some well needed materials. He sighed and looked at the bed. It was time to finally hit the sack.

He sighed and opened his HUD, removing his armor to rest for the night. he sighed and relaxed. It felt nice to take off his armor after a long day of grinding. He sighed and laid down in the bed, enjoying the feel of the soft blankets and pillows on his tired body. He sighed and stared at the ceiling for awhile, happy with how the day had been, and how he couldn't wait for the day to start tomorrow.
